Undeniably Yours (Vicious Snakes MC Book 2) Page 2

by Mallory Funk

She has curves in all the right places. I love a woman with curves. She isn’t skinny, but she also isn’t chubby either.

She has long black hair with red streaks through it. I knew it was long by the long pony tail running in the back. Her hair reminds me of a woman I had slept with five years ago. She had long hair, but it was all black. She was easily the most stunning woman I had ever seen. It didn’t take long from the moment she walked into the bar to end up at the point where I had my hands on her. She wasn’t interested in knowing my name and I wasn’t interested in knowing hers either. The no strings that came with not knowing her name was great in the moment. I didn’t have to worry about her wanting more.

We never did end up exchanging names or any information about each other. I took her to my motel since I was in town for the night on a run with a couple of brothers. I was fresh out of becoming a prospect- just a kid looking for a good time, but I will never forget that woman. It has been five years and she is still the best fuck I have ever had. I fucked her so many times that night and decided, before I passed out the last time, to get her name in the morning; however, I woke up and she was gone. I was from out of town. My brothers and I headed home that morning and I haven’t been back since.

She was a woman that wasn’t normally my type being that she was shy when it was just the two of us. After the first time I fucked her though, it seemed like she had come out of her shell. I was insatiable for her and it seemed like she was for me too.

Sometimes I think I am remembering her face wrong, but she had a tattoo on her right hip in the front with a bunch of blue flowers on it. I know that I would recognize that tattoo anywhere, even if I end up forgetting what she looks like or if she changes her appearance in any way.

To this day, I haven’t been able to fuck a woman that had come close to feeling the same way. It wasn’t just that her pussy was the tightest I ever fucked, but it was like we had a connection. I didn’t know how rare that was until a couple years ago.

Sure, I still go around and fuck women, but I haven’t gotten lost in a woman’s body since that night. I swore that if I ever found her again that I wouldn’t let her go.

It didn’t take long for the movers to bring their stuff in. I leave the scene to check and see if there is anything needed of me around the club.

The old ladies have brothers running around setting up a bunch of stuff for D.J’s birthday tomorrow. They are going all out for his birthday. I see Cook bringing food in from the club truck. Kid and Shield are bringing in booze, pop, juice, and a ton of other shit. I didn’t know a one-year old’s birthday would be so big, but I guess because it’s the Prez’s grandson that they are sparing no expense on him. There are decorations going up around the club and outside. All of them say “Happy 1st Birthday” with a ton of balloons.

I decide to tell my mom that I need to head out, but I don’t tell her it’s because I haven’t picked up a present for D.J yet; she would kick my ass if she found out. I don’t care what anyone says, my mom’s fucking scary when she’s pissed. I told her that I bought the little one something weeks ago, but I just kept putting it off until I completely forgot all together.

I take off before anyone can question me on where I am going. When I drive by the little neighbor, I see him looking at all the bikes like he’s in heaven. I can’t help the small smile that comes to my lips when I see that.

I wake up the next morning after unpacking most of the house. I still have a couple things to do, but this morning I want to get some grocery shopping done since we have nothing- no cleaning supplies or food. The way Hale eats, you’d think I never feed him. I would say it is just a growth spurt, but I have never seen him go that long without food. I have no idea where the kid puts it, but I can’t help but think it’s probably a trait that he got from his father.

There are so many traits in my little boy that I can’t help thinking are from his father. When my little one gets hangry or has a stubborn side, I will admit it’s from me. My brothers have told me over and over again that Hale is stubborn like his mother.

I get Hale ready to go to the store and, the second we leave the house, I see a bunch of bikes pulling up to the clubhouse across the street. There are lots of guys wearing vests, but I can’t tell what they say from here. Every time I see a biker, I can’t help but think of Hale’s father. Of course, Hale gets excited and starts jumping up and down seeing all the bikes pull up across the street. He points to different ones that he likes and are the “coolest.” After a little while, I have to make Hale get into the car by mentioning food. That makes him run into the car.

We spend over an hour getting food. I make sure to stock up on everything we will need. I don’t want to bother going back every day, so I make sure that I have enough to stock the fridge, freezer, and cupboards.

I’ve always loved to cook and bake, so most of the food we eat is from scratch. The only time we really get take-out is when I’ve worked too much, or we are celebrating something.

Once we are ready to go, I drive us home and notice more bikes outside. Hale gets even more excited seeing all of them. He starts running around the yard while I’m bringing the food in the house. He knows not to leave my sight so he stays close.

When I take a moment to glance across the street, I notice people coming in with presents and balloons for a child’s birthday. There are kids running inside the clubhouse and I can’t help the small smile that comes to my face.

I love kid’s birthdays. I try and go all out for Hale’s birthday with a theme and decorating. His birthday is in a few months, and I hope he makes some friends in daycare before school starts for him. He tends to make friends easily; sometimes I wonder how he does it since I get nervous around new people that I want to be friends with. After a while I’m fine, but when I first meet people I tend to be shy unless I’m drunk or with more people that I’m comfortable with.

I spend the day unpacking the house and putting the groceries away before I make sure that the daycare is all set up for Hale. I plan to spend the next few days relaxing and enjoying time with my son. Since Hale has never been in a daycare before, I worry about how he will act when he’s there. My brother’s always took care of him whenever I worked so I never had to worry about it.

I just have to hope everything works out for the best and that moving here wasn’t a big mistake.

  Chapter Three

  Aiden ‘Steal’

Everyone is passing D.J. around and having a good time. I have to hide my laughter when dad tries to convince Torch and Stacey to have a baby. Stacey looks terrified of that idea and Torch shakes his head really fast and walks away. I think that having D.J around makes my dad want more grandkids. When his eyes land on me, the laughter immediately leaves and I narrow my eyes at him and thin my lips.

“Do not even think about it. I don’t even have a woman,” I say, and he smirks at me.

“Neither did Dame,” he says back, and Damien comes in at that moment like he heard his name and laughs, clapping my dad on the shoulder.

“Fuck yeah, I never expected this shit to happen and be a father in the last two years. One phone call changed my life. How do you know you haven’t knocked someone up?” he says smirking at me.

“I always wrap it up,” I say to him on a growl.

“They aren’t a hundred percent, son. How do you think you came along?” my dad says with a twitch of his lips. I can’t help the gag that comes out, which makes him laugh harder.

“Dad, fuck, I don’t want to hear about you and mom,” I say with disgust in my voice.

  He and Damien start laughing.

I see Ella walk outside, and I grab D.J. from her hands before anyone else can.

When my dad sees my sister, his eyes light up and he walks towards her like he’s on a mission. Damien shakes his head.

“He’s not going to give up you know, he’s in full grandpa bear mode,” I tell him.

  “Fuck, I know, but whe
n Ella wants more kids, I will be more than ready for it to happen. I don’t want to rush her on that,” he says seriously. I can’t help but look at him in shock because he isn’t the same Damien from two years ago, that’s for sure.

Fuck, this guy is a goner for my sister, but I could tell that by the first moment I saw him with her. When we found out who she was, I knew that he would be wrapped around her finger. The way he looks at her is the same way my dad looks at my mom.

I glance at my sister at the same time that she runs away from my dad. Well, I should say, power walking- like she can’t help but get away fast enough from him. I see her pointing at things on the grill to Cook and waving her hands in the air, and I wonder what the fuck is going on. The only time I have really seen her act crazy is when she was pregnant, and that’s when it clicks.

Damien walks over to my dad, and it’s not long before he’s yelling at Ella and they announce she’s pregnant again. I don’t waste any time giving her a hug and congratulating him. I’m also thankful because now my dad will be getting that other grandchild he wants so fucking bad.

The rest of the afternoon is full of laughter and good times. It hasn’t been this relaxed here in a long time. The girls we rescued from the Devil’s Souls MC are even here and are more comfortable around us. They have joined us and are now a part of our family.

I bullshit with Trigger and Crash for most of the night before most of the families leave and everyone starts drinking more and partying hard like we were born to do it.

I glance at Pyro. He comes to the family gatherings, but he never stays long and usually takes off until we need him. He hasn’t been the same since the day Ella was taken. He was shot when those fuckers’ Devil’s Souls went to take Ella from us, but we had caught them before anything happened. Ella tried to escape by causing an accident which is how Damien was able to see her.

I worry about my brother, Pyro. He’s usually talkative and the life of the party, but he barely speaks to anyone since he woke up from a coma. No matter which brother tries to talk to him, he tells them to fuck off. I just hope one day I can get my brother back.

Cara checks in from time to time. She gave up on the life of being a club whore and moved to a different town. I couldn’t say I that blamed her with the shit that Sam and Nikki went through when they died and, afterwards, being shot at. It wasn’t exactly the most ideal situation. We only asked that she check in and tell us how she is doing. She may not want to be a part of this life anymore, but she was one of the club whores that most of the brothers cared about. She never caused shit or tried to become an old lady, she just wanted the protection of the club along with the opportunity to sleep with a biker or several.

She has told us that she’s happy and that we don’t need to worry about her. If we didn’t have someone check on her, we wouldn’t know if she was telling the truth of not.

I leave the party with my woman, Lily, by my side and a smile on my face. I offered to take little Derek for the night but, since my baby girl is pregnant again, she doesn’t want to stay and hang out since she can’t party.

I leave it to my boys to make sure that nothing gets too far out of hand. The sun is starting to set when we are leaving and I grab my bike. We have a lot of club vehicles and car seats for whenever I take Derek, but since I don’t have him tonight I decide to take my woman on a ride. She loves being on the back of my bike.

When we are leaving, I glance across the street. I remember Bear telling me that someone moved into the house across the street. So far, he only saw a woman and a kid, so I make a mental note to keep an eye on them. I like to keep the people in my neighbourhood safe. Since no one has been living there, I hadn’t had to worry about it.

One of these days, I will go and introduce myself and let her know if she needs anything from the club that she shouldn’t be afraid to ask. I’m guessing she doesn’t have a problem with bikers since she moved across the road from a clubhouse.

I see the little boy Bear was telling me about pointing at all the bikes. He’s jumping up and down and then pointing at me and Lily when he sees that we are leaving on a bike. I offer him a wave and so does Lily and that makes him more excited. I notice that his mom is sitting on the deck watching him with a smile on her face and shaking her head.

“That little boy wants to see your bike. That’s so cute,” Lily says looking across the street smiling. I already know what she’s thinking.

“Do you want to take a few minutes to show him my bike?” I ask her, but I already know the answer; Lily loves little kids as much as I do. It’s why I want more grandchildren.

“You don’t mind?” she asks me with a smile on her face.

“No, baby. He looks excited to see bikes. Let’s go greet the new neighbours,” I tell her, and we take my bike across the street. When we make it over there, the woman gets up from the porch. The little guy hides behind his mom when we walk up to them.

“Hey, name’s Derek and this is my old lady, Lily. I’m the president of the Vicious Snakes MC. We just came over to say ‘hi’ and let your little man check out my ride. He seems like the type to appreciate a good bike,” I tell her with a smile and, to my surprise, she smiles back not at all looking scared of a biker and his old lady.

“Hi. I’m Olivia. This is my son, Hale. He loves bikes, always has,” she says and looks down at Hale. “Hey buddy, look at our new neighbours. It’s okay to say ‘hi,’” she says quietly to him.

When he moves, and I see him for the first time, I can’t help but stare. My jaw drops. I look at Lily, and her eyes widen when she looks at me.

  There’s no way.

I clear my throat. “Hi there, Hale. I’m Derek. Do you like bikes?” I ask him, and I look at the woman again, but I don’t recognize her from anywhere.

“Yes,” he says quietly, and as I walk him over to my bike I can’t take my eyes off him. He looks just like my boys did when they were little. If I had a picture of them when they were small on me, I would pull it out to compare. I look at Lily and she’s thinking the same thing.

“So, is it just you and your son living here?” Lily asks Olivia.

“Yes, we just moved here yesterday,” she says with a smile.

“Oh wow, well don’t be afraid to come by if you need anything,” Lily says and clears her throat awkwardly. I know she wants to say something, but Lily doesn’t like getting into anyone’s personal business. I don’t mind at all and, since I won’t stop thinking about it until I know for sure, I’m going to have to say something.

I try to pay attention to what Hale is saying, but I’m stuck on the resemblance to my boys.

“Can I ask you something?” I say and look up at Olivia.

She looks at me hesitantly and then nods.

“Where’s Hale’s father?” I ask bluntly. Lily looks at me with narrowed eyes. Fuck, I know how personal the question is, but he looks just like my boys.

She shifts from one foot to another. “Oh well, I’m not sure,” she says quietly and looks down at her feet.

I glance at Lily. “What do you mean you’re not sure?”

“Honey, you don’t have to answer that. It’s none of our business,” Lily says and gives me a look to tell me to ‘shut the fuck up’ but I can’t help the thoughts racing through my head.

“No, it’s okay,” Olivia says and clears her throat looking at me directly in the eyes. I don’t know where the courage in her face has come from, but I’m glad for it.

“Well, I don’t know because I never got his name. It was a one-night-stand, and I was young and didn’t care to ask what his name was. When I found out I was pregnant, I had no way to find him. I wish I could go back and ask him his name, but I can’t, so I have to live with the fact that I may never see him again,” she says on a breath and then her cheeks turn pink after she’s done. I could tell that she didn’t mean to blurt that all out.

“Sorry, I tend to blurt stuff out when I’m nervous and with the way you
re looking at me I couldn’t help it. I can’t believe I told complete strangers something so personal,” she says and then covers her face with her hands looking embarrassed.

“It’s okay, honey, it was pretty personal. Sorry, but your boy looks familiar to us that’s why we were asking,” Lily says as she reaches out and squeezes Olivia’s shoulder gently.

“Sorry, would you recognize the guy if you saw him?” I ask her, pulling out my phone. A part of me is hoping that I’m right that this kid belongs to one of my boys, and another part is hoping that I’m wrong because that will mean that I missed four years of this kid’s life. I’m guessing four years since he looks around that age.

“Oh well yeah, I would, considering that my son looks nothing like me and completely like his father,” she says bluntly. I look at Lily and she nods her head.

I blow out a breath and text my boys.

Me: I need you both to come across to the street. New neighbour’s house.

  Torch: Be right there.

  Steal: Sure pop.

It doesn’t take long before they come out and a couple brothers follow them.

“What’s going on?” Torch asks looking from Olivia to Hale and then back to me.

I hear a small gasp, and I look at Olivia who has her hand over her mouth and looks a little pale.

I give her a questioning look, and she locks her eyes with me and nods.

I blow out a breath that I didn’t know I was holding and look at my sons.

One of their lives is about to change.

  Aiden ‘Steal’

I don’t waste anytime walking across the street and seeing what my dad wants. He was on his way out, so I hope that nothing happened to the new neighbour.

I look at the woman and the boy staring at my dad’s bike like it’s a piece of art.
