When I get to the clubhouse, my brothers don’t waste any time in asking questions or making jokes at the situation.
“Well it’s about time you came home, daddy,” my brother Torch says clapping me on the back.
“Fuck off. Where’s Pop?” I ask looking around the club house.
“He went home with Ma and said that he would talk to you in the morning. He wasn’t sure how long you would be over there with your new family,” he says to me while grinning.
“Fuck, okay. I’m going to head to bed then,” I tell him, and he nods his head.
“Little bro, I know you have lots to think about now, but all jokes aside I’m here for you. Fuck, we all are here for you. I know this isn’t what you expected, but they are Snakes now. We take care of our own. Now get some rest so you can see your son in the morning. Dad gave you the week off at the shop so that you can get to know him,” he says clapping me on the back.
“Thank fuck for that. I don’t want my son to go into daycare when I know mom and Ella would be more than happy to watch him while Olivia and I are working,” I mutter to him before heading down the hall to my room.
Once I’m in my room, I strip down to my boxers and lay on my back staring up at the ceiling.
It takes a long time before I’m able to fall asleep. I may not know where to go from here, but I know one thing is for sure; my life has changed, and I can honestly say that I’m excited about where this change is going to bring me.
Kids and a woman were far from my mind, but now that I know about them and have them across the street I can’t imagine not wanting it now, even if it is scary as fuck.

After Aiden had left, I slumped my body against the front door once it was locked.
This day has not turned out like I had thought it would.
I had always wondered what it would be like to run into the man who was Hale’s father, but somewhere in the back of my mind I didn’t think it would actually happen. What were the odds that the biker clubhouse I moved across from was actually the one that he belonged to?
I don’t know how long I sit there for, but I do have a lot of explaining to do with Hale. He gave me curious glances throughout the time we were there until he had fallen asleep. I could tell that he wanted to ask but was too shy with everyone watching us.
Damn, Aiden still looks good, even better than he did before. He definitely has more muscles than he did five years ago. I could tell even under his cut and the tight black shirt he was wearing. The faded blue jeans he was wearing fit him in all the right places and I was reminded of how I ended up with Hale in the first place.
If there’s one thing that I’m a sucker for on a man it’s his ass, and Aiden sure isn’t lacking in that department. I try to shake my head to clear my thoughts of him, but it doesn’t seem to work.
It’s bad enough that he’s the last person I have had sex with. I do have a collection of vibrators and dildos I have accumulated over the years. I’m pretty thankful that you can buy that stuff online and don’t have to worry about someone reading what it is on the box.
I get up off the floor because thoughts of Aiden’s body were making me hotter than I have been in a long time.
I find the box that I labelled “bedroom” with two lines underneath so that I knew which box it was and could make sure no one would open it. I would be mortified if my brothers were ever to open that box. That’s not something a brother should know about or ever see.
I automatically bring the box over to my bedside table and start putting everything in there. I decide to take out one of my favorite vibrators and get lost in thoughts of Aiden. There is no way I can ignore the tension that is between my legs.
I don’t know how I’m going to face Aiden without blushing tomorrow, but I am too horny to care at the moment.
Chapter Five
One week later
Olivia
The last week has been eye opening. I have gotten to know most of the brothers of the club and Aiden’s family.
The day after I had met Aiden and his family, he came over early and asked if he could bring Hale and me to breakfast. I couldn’t say no to him, and after I had talked to Hale that morning and told him who Aiden was, his eyes lit up like it was Christmas. I couldn’t deny him getting to know his father.
He has taken me to the same diner we went to a few days before and told me that the club owned it. I order myself bacon and eggs while I get Hale a stack of pancakes. As I explain to Aiden that pancakes are Hale’s favourite food, he has a small smile on his face and orders pancakes too. Aiden is apparently also a lover of pancakes.
We spent a couple hours at the restaurant while Hale and Aiden got to know each other. When we get back to the house, Aiden asks me if I could tell him everything about Hale and the pregnancy. I have no problem with that. Hale gets lost in playing with his toys after showing his dad many of them. Aiden is really proud of the collection of toy bikes Hale has. I explain to Aiden that my brothers love to ride and always gave him bike toys as gifts.
As expected, I couldn’t help but blush thinking about the night before when I took matters into my own hands thinking of Aiden. I spend a lot of time trying not to look at him or check out his muscles, but when I finally get the courage to look at him in the eyes, he sends me a smirk with a wink revealing that I wasn’t fooling him with the thoughts running through my head.
When I had told my brothers that night about Aiden and the rest of the Vicious Snakes, they had insisted on a paternity test. We are going to get one just to be 100% sure even though everyone seemed like they could already tell that Hale belonged to Aiden. It helped that you could tell they looked alike and Hale was his mini me. I could also tell where Hale got his appetite from. They both ate more than I could ever imagine.
Aiden had spent most of his time with Hale and me. His dad had given him the week off so that we could get to know each other.
During the day, I got to know Aiden’s mom, dad, and sister, and then at night when his brother was done work, I got to know him and his old lady, Stacey. They spent a lot of time over at my place. I was glad at a time like this that I had created a photo album so that I could have something to show them. I loved to take pictures of Hale throughout the years; I had always hoped to find his father and be able to show them to him one day.
I wasn’t sure how to tell Hale about his father, but he seemed to take to the news pretty easily. He was excited that he not only has a father, but also has a grandpa and grandma now. He also has aunties. He didn’t get as excited about having new uncles because he already has some, but it was still good for him to have a few more.
Aiden has been really good with Hale and spends as much time with him as he can. I don’t think that there is a day that goes by where I haven’t seen him. At first it was weird to get used to him being around all the time, but during the end of the week I ended up liking his company.
I had felt more comfortable leaving them alone when I had to go for my first day of work.
This morning, I wake up to Aiden at the door with breakfast sandwiches and coffee. I can’t help the smile that comes to my face when I see him.
I am working a twelve-hour shift for my first day. When I checked out the hospital the other day to fill out paperwork, I could tell they were lacking in staff. I’m prepared to have a lot of hours which means that I will spend less time with my son. When I had talked to Aiden and his family, they had no problem taking turns watching Hale. I could tell they were all feeling the years they had missed, and I wasn’t feeling any bad vibes from them.
I had spent some time at the clubhouse during the week, and I could tell they were there for each other and would protect one another at all costs. What also helped was when Ella came over and told me her story. She wasn’t sure what to make of the Vicious Snakes in the beginning, but then she got to know them and witness that their loyalty to one another ran strong and deep. Ella’s description of the brothers helped shape my d
ecision in letting them take care of Hale.
The fact that Hale instantly loved them all also helped. They had no trouble spoiling him, and he got to look at everyone’s bikes which I’m pretty sure made his year. When he said, “my dad has the coolest bike,” I could see the pride in Aiden’s eyes. I was told about their club names, but I couldn’t see myself calling Aiden ‘Steal,’ but Aiden had always told me that he didn’t want me calling him by his biker name anyway.
I had also seen Ella and Stacey’s Old Lady tattoos and I loved them. I couldn’t help but think of what it would be like to have Steal tattooed on my body, but then I had to snap myself out of it because I wasn’t sure where this was going to go.
We could end up being friends who raise a kid together, or we could end up dating, but I’m just trying to take everything day by day.
Hale comes running out of his bedroom when he hears Aiden’s voice.
“Daddy!” he exclaims with a huge smile on his face. Hale reacts with the same smile each time he sees Aiden.
“Hey champ. Are you ready to spend the day with your old man?” Aiden asks, smiling down at him.
Hale nods, glances at the bag with breakfast in it, and runs straight for it. I couldn’t help but chuckle.
“Okay. I think I’ve got everything. You have my number in case you need anything or if anything goes wrong, right?” I ask grabbing my phone and purse off of the table.
“Yeah baby, I have your number. Don’t worry. I’m going to bring him by the shop for a bit, and then Ella is going to come grab him and hang out with him and little D.J. for a few hours while I work. You have nothing to worry about. Dame always keeps a guard on Ella at all times, so they will be safe,” he tells me with a small smile on his lips. I can’t help but glance down at them.
“Okay,” I say in a small voice because, let’s face it, I’m still staring at his lips.
“Olivia!” Aiden says loudly causing me to jump. When I look up at him, his small smile has turned to a smirk. How did he get so close to me without me realizing it?
“What, oh sorry… did you say something?” I don’t have to look in the mirror to know that I’m blushing.
“I asked if you had everything you needed,” he says still smirking. He caught me. Fuck.
Luckily, I’m saved by Hale. “Have a good day at work, mommy!” He runs up to me and gives me a hug. I can’t help but breathe a sigh of relief. When I look up at Aiden, he gives me an amused smile.
I give Hale a quick kiss on the head and head out the door like my ass is on fire. This man rattles me like no other and I don’t know how I feel about that yet.
Aiden ‘Steal’
I can’t help but watch as Olivia practically runs out of the house. I could see her checking me out the second I walked in the door and couldn’t help but notice the way she looked at my lips and bit down on her own like she wanted to taste me. I had to hold back a groan. If it wasn’t for my son sitting in the same room, I have no doubt I would have devoured her right there.
There is still an obvious attraction to each other for both of us. Every time she wasn’t looking I was checking her out and wondering if she felt the same way, and then I would wonder if she felt as good as I remembered or if I was making it all up in my head.
I have spent more time this week taking myself in my hand than when I was a teenager.
Sure, there are club whores or other women I could have when I wanted, but no woman has gotten me harder on sight than Olivia.
I wasn’t sure how I was going to like this whole dad thing, but when Hale calls me ‘dad’ or ‘daddy’ I can’t help but feel my chest puff out in pride. I’ve only known the kid a week and I already love him.
I didn’t know that in an instant, I would ache thinking about the time I didn’t know him or long to see him grow up from a baby. I can’t just think about myself anymore because I have Hale and he looks up to me. Then, I also have Olivia. Whether she likes it or not, she is my woman. I just have to find the right time to make my move so that she knows it too.
“What are we doing today, daddy?” Hale asks me in a small voice.
I smile down at him and take a seat at the table so that I can finish my coffee.
“Well, we are going to hang out here for a bit and then I have to go to the shop. Aunt Ella is coming to get you so that you can spend time with your little cousin D.J. while I get some work done. Then, we will come back here until your mom comes home,” I tell him, and he nods his head along with everything that I’m saying.
“Can we have pizza for supper?” he asks and pouts while giving me wide eyes. Fuck, how did Olivia ever say “no” to him? He looks like he has perfected this face.
“Sure, bud. Your mom will be too tired to cook anything anyways because it’s her first day back at work,” I tell him.
We spend the morning playing with his toys. This is the first time I will have been alone with him for longer than a few minutes. I’m nervous as fuck, but I’m trying not to show it. I mean, kids can smell fear, right?
It doesn’t take long before he’s asking me question after question. I start to wonder how a four-year-old can be so curious. Do kids really need to know all of this stuff, and are they even going to remember any of it? After about the fiftieth time that he asks me, “why?” when I explain something, I decide to start doing it back to him. I honestly have to fight hard to keep my laughter in.
“What’s this show called?” I ask, innocently blinking at him.
“Paw Patrol,” he states and gives me a look for interrupting his show.
“Why?”
“Because they’re dogs, daddy,” he says, not glancing at me and keeping his gaze on the TV.
“Why?” I say with a slight twitch of my lips.
“That’s how they were born,” he says with a frustrated sigh.
“Why?”
“Daddy, I don’t know,” he says, and I can tell that he’s already a little annoyed.
“Why?” I try hard to keep my face neutral and, when he looks at me, I quickly look at the TV because I know that if I see the expression on his face I might lose it and start laughing.
“I don’t know. Ask mommy. She knows everything.”
He’s saved from the next why and I think he knows it too because I see the relief on his face when my phone rings.
I glance down before answering and see that it’s my sister Ella.
“Ella, darling, to what do I owe this pleasure?” I ask in a weird, high-pitched voice. Being with my son has put me in a silly mood. I hear her chuckling on the other end.
“Well, dear brother. I wanted to know when you were bringing that little man over. I thought you had to be at the shop at noon,” she says. I look at the clock and notice that it’s five minutes to noon. Damn, I was too caught up in my son to think of the time.
“Fu-dgesicle! We will be right there,” I say and look at Hale as I hang up the phone.
“Hey buddy, we have to go see Aunt Ella. She’s going to watch you while I work for a few hours,” I tell him. He jumps up from the couch and runs to grab his shoes.
Olivia had told me that they didn’t have many people around except her brothers and best friend, so he is loving having so many people around all the time. You can certainly tell by the way he runs and gets ready, not caring about the show I was clearly disturbing a couple minutes ago.
This little man is going to keep me on my toes, I just know it.
Olivia
When I finally get to the hospital I’m a ball of nerves, but I have never been more excited. I like having more of a challenge. I wasn’t getting nearly enough hours back home, and I also wasn’t making as much. I will finally have more money and be at a point where I’m not having to make a choice of which bill I’m going to pay.
Most of the nurses and doctors are friendly. I say “most” because I haven’t met everyone yet.
The morning seems pretty steady for an ER, but I like it that way. I like to keep busy and I think tha
t this place will be perfect for that.
I had spent the morning shadowing one of the nurses, Krista. She was around my age and seemed to be full of energy. I could tell that I was going to get along great with her already. Her bubbly personality drew me in.
She told me that I was going to be shadowing her for a couple days and then I would be on my own. They just wanted to make sure that I was comfortable to do that before they shoved me out there.
We took our lunch at the same time and she showed me the cafeteria.
“So, how do you like living here so far?” she asks as she takes a bite of her sandwich she has purchased.
“Oh, it’s different. So far, it’s good, and my son sure seems to love it too,” I tell her.
“That’s great. Do you have a boyfriend? Husband?” she asks me with excitement in her eyes.
“Uhh… well no. Not really. I mean, I recently just ran into my son’s father, so I don’t really know what’s going on there.” All I can tell you is that he is hotter than hot, and I would like to strip him down and climb him like a tree, I think to myself.
“Oh wow. That sounds complicated. Were you guys on bad terms?” She asks and, sure, it’s an innocent question but how much do I want to reveal to a stranger and someone I hope could be a good friend in this town? Just say ‘hey, well I met him five years ago and he knocked me up the one and only night we fucked, but I was stupid and young and never got his name, but I happened to move across from his clubhouse so now he’s in my son’s life?’ Yeah, I don’t see that going well without her choking on the food she’s currently eating.
“It’s a long story. I’ll tell you about it some other time.” She looks at me curiously for a moment but smiles and nods afterwards.
I think she knew that I wasn’t comfortable sharing something so private with someone I barely knew, and I appreciated that.
