Princes of Hell MC Set Page 9

by KJ Dahlen

Then her family interfered. And from there, everything went straight to hell. The last straw had been when her dad came to see him and he demanded payment for his daughter’s dishonor. Talon simply laughed in the old man’s face then proceeded to beat the shit out of him.

Talon knew she had feelings for him but he’d been a bastard about it. All his life he’d used women for one thing. He never took the time to get to know the women he slept with. He never knew his real mother, all he knew was that she left them both when he was a little kid. Bullseye had raised him with the help of the old ladies of the club. That’s all he knew.

The Princes of Hell had raised him, had taught him the ways of the MC. He’d grown up running the streets with the men his dad called brothers. He’d gotten his first bike at the young age of fourteen. It had been a junker, an old Indian Chief but that was the type of bike his dad rode. When his dad bought the bike and wheeled it home he’d been proud. Then his dad told him he needed to build it up the way he wanted. That a man’s first bike should be the one he knew intimately. The one he built from nothing but bones.

He remembered vividly his father’s message. It was the last one he ever got. His dad died in an ambush a few weeks later. Talon was devastated. His whole world had been shattered when a bullet took his dad. Four men had died that day and other men had been shot but recovered from their wounds. That bullet had taken more than just Bullseyes life, it had shattered Talon’s childhood. The day his father died was the day Talon became a man.

But the MC didn’t let him go, instead ole Hammer took him in and continued his education. Hammer was right there in his father’s place. He’d been born a Prince and now he had to earn his place within the MC.

So Talon worked on the bike for two full years. He knew every nut and bolt on that machine. He knew every inch of chrome and leather on that bike. It had been him and Hammer there the first time Talon had turned the key and the motor roared to life. The first thrill Talon ever had was when he turned that key the first time.

Then he met Fiona and he got that same thrill the first time he looked into her eyes. Maybe that was the initial reason he hooked up with her. Maybe the reason he couldn’t let her go. And maybe the real reason he broke her heart.

The MC had taught him well. Everything he knew he’d learned from them. About life, about death and about women. The women in the club unless they were old ladies only wanted to fuck the brothers. It didn’t matter who they were with. They were club whores and that’s the way they liked it.

Talon had never met anyone quite like Fiona. The feelings she inspired in him were ones he wasn’t sure he liked. He was beginning to care for her and he didn’t know how to handle that.

A few days later, Fiona showed up with a suitcase and told him her parents kicked her out. She had no place else to go, so she had come to him.

Then one of the brothers lost their old lady when she was shot right off his bike while riding bitch. Retaliation for something the club had done.

Talon felt like he couldn’t think when he’d heard about it. He’d let Fiona ride bitch all the time. He could lose her to the life. She was so young and still had a chance at a future.

He’d stewed about it for days and he couldn’t live with the thought of her hurt or worse. Then what would happen to her if someone offed him? They would make her a club whore when he was gone as once you were in the life, you’d better not step out of it. Talon had panicked and done something that broke her heart. He hadn’t been proud of what he did but he did it all the same. He paid one of the biker bunnies to strip off and wait in his room.

Talon remebered now that the chick had thought he meant sex at the time. He hadn’t. He’d waited till he heard Fiona arrive from her class then grabbed the bunnie up and fell into bed with her. He knew this would drive Fiona away, out of his life and away from the dangers of the MC...away from a man like him.

The one thing he remembered from that day was the look of absolute heartbreak on her face when she saw him supposedly balls deep in one of the club whores.

She cried when she turned and ran. She hadn’t even taken her suitcase, she just ran.

Talon hadn’t expected to hear from her again. He’d known she thought she loved him. But Talon didn’t know that kind of love. He wasn’t sure what he felt for her but love?

All he knew then was his own heart broke when he watched her leave. For reasons only known to him, he’d fucked up something great and now he wasn’t sure he could get that back. He also wasn’t sure anything had changed that had made him push her away before. Look at the bullet that had just grazed him today. It could have hit her or the kid.

He then had pushed the whore out the door as she’d clutched her barely there clothes to her nude body. The first thing he saw when he turned back around was Fiona’s suitcase at the foot of his bed. The same bed she thought they would share. The same bed he slept in yet today. The same bed her son now slept in.

Now she was back. Everything he felt for her back in the day was right there in his heart. He still wasn’t sure what he was feeling but this time he wasn’t pushing her away. This time, he wanted more than he had in the past. But this time it was him that might not get what he wanted. She had a lot to forgive him for. Then he thought about the little boy asleep on his bed. He might have something to forgive her for as well. Yeah, he got what Eagle was saying, he saw right through it as was his Prez’s intention.

Right now though, she just fit in his arms. He remembered her fit so well. Almost like she’d been made to fit right in there against his body. It was like old times but this time Talon wasn’t letting her go.

Her head lifted from his chest and she just stared at him for a moment. Then her tongue flicked out and moistened her lips. She moved her lower body against his and Talon felt his cock rising at her movements.

Then he heard her whisper, “I know this won’t mean anything more to you than a fuck in the shower but I need you right now. Fuck me for old time’s sake.”

Talon’s cock then got rock hard and he felt the rush of pleasure flood his senses. He groaned as his lips found hers. When her mouth opened, he thrust his tongue in as he explored her sweet mouth.

He felt her warm wet core grinding against him and his cock slipped into her opening there as well. He was a bigger man in that department so he took it slow. He wanted to surge into her but she was so tight he couldn’t. He didn’t want to hurt her so he took his time, an inch at time.

Fiona wrapped her arms around his neck and with one movement wrapped her legs around his waist. That opened her up for more of his cock and Talon surged into her pussy then. She was still tight as hell but she moaned as he pushed himself into her. Her channel was slick and that made things easier but she was still tight as she had been back in the day.

He pushed her back against the cool tiles of the shower stall and she gasped with the difference. Then he began to stroke in and out and her gasps changed to moans as he built up her pleasure.

Talon groaned as she worked her abdominal muscles and he felt the pleasure grip his cock and work it. He slammed into her time and time again as they barreled toward the end. Nothing had ever felt this good to him. None of the women he had before or since her had ever raised his pleasure like this.

Then he felt her pussy walls twitch and he knew she was close. His hand slipped down and reached for her clit. He barely touched it before she opened her mouth to scream as her world exploded around her.

He covered her mouth and swallowed she cries of pleasure and with one last thrust, he joined her over the edge. They both groaned as his cum shot up into her. Talon gripped her tightly as he finished and she dropped her legs down on the floor of the shower.

He reached over and shut off the cooling water. Sliding down the walls, she sat down. Talon joined her and they sat there in silence for a moment.

Then Fiona turned to him with a glazed look. “Wow, that was incredible,” she whispered softly, as if not wanting to break the
spell.

“Just like old times huh?” He reminded her as he broke the spell for sure.

Fiona’s smile dropped as she remembered old times, like the last time she’d seen him. “Yeah, just like old times.” She got to her feet and stepped out of the shower. Grabbing the towel, she dried herself off and got dressed.

Then she left without looking back at him once.

Talon ran his fingers through his wet hair and scowled. He had to open his big mouth, he just had to say something stupid.

Fiona crawled into bed beside her son. For a moment there, she felt like she’d come home. Most people thought about home as a place, a house, but Fiona knew better. Home was Talon to her. Wherever he was that was home.

When he joined her in the shower, she’d been in a dark place. All of that vanished when she felt his arms wrap around her body. All her fears vanished in that moment and she felt safe for the first time on years.

She couldn’t help but want him. He’d always been her kryptonite. She wanted him more than ever. She asked him to fuck her and he delivered. She hadn’t had sex in years. He’d been her one and only lover but no one knew this but her.

She inhaled her baby’s scent and she smiled. He was used to going to sleep in one place and waking up in another. He always slept right through the change. Fiona never wanted that, not for her son, not for herself, but you didn’t always get what you wanted. Her life so far had taught her that much.

When she left San Francisco, she’d gotten as far as Santa Rosa before her money ran out. She’d left her suitcase behind that day and most of her money had been in there. She had all of forty dollars on her and that was as far as her forty dollars took her.

It had been a struggle to find a job and a place to live. All the while, fighting morning sickness and her condition for as long as she could. She didn’t think Talon would come after her at all but she changed her name anyway. Instead of using her father’s last name, she took her mother’s maiden name.

So Fiona Clark had become Fiona Chasen. Staying at a woman’s shelter until she managed to save enough to get a small place of her own, she worked hard to settle her life.

People told her she should get the baby’s father to pay her support but Fiona hadn’t wanted that. This baby was hers and hers alone. Talon hadn’t wanted her in his life then and she wasn’t going to involve him in her baby’s life.

For the first time in her.... she knew what she wanted. She wanted her baby to know she loved him beyond everything else. Looking back on her childhood, she realized how selfish her own parents had been. They never cared about the children they brought into this world. They never cared for anyone other than themselves.

She and Ross her brother, were often forgotten as their parents drank themselves stupid.

Her mother often used her children against her father, yelling and screaming how he ruined her life by getting her pregnant and tying her down to the hell they had.

He father often accused her mother of trapping him with a baby when he wanted nothing to do with fatherhood.

It used to break her heart to lay there and listen to them fight all night long.

She glanced down to her own baby as she told herself over and over again that Bret would never know that kind of life. She loved him even if Talon didn’t know him. She and she alone would give her son the kind of life she never knew. Everything she did, everything she would do, would be for him.

That’s what fueled her decision that day a week ago. She took money that wasn’t hers to buy her son the medicine he needed to get better. She heard the bathroom door open and she closed her eyes quickly. She didn’t want Talon to know she was still awake. She certainly didn’t want to talk about what just happened.

Fiona was surprised to feel him crawl into bed with her and Bret. He came up right to her back and wrapped his arms around them both. Neither of them said a word and soon she could hear his breathing even out. She knew he was sleeping but that didn’t help her relax.

She thought he would sleep somewhere else tonight, maybe even in someone else’s bed. The old Talon hadn’t been deprived of female company she learned that the hard way. As far as she knew, he still wasn’t.

Finally, after a very long time, Fiona let herself fall asleep. But her dreams weren’t good dreams like she prayed they would be, in fact they were more of a nightmare as she relived Devin’s visit in her sleep.

Talon awoke with a start. At first, he didn’t know what woke him, he wasn’t even sure where he was. Then her scent hit him and he knew he was with Fiona again.

Then he frowned as her mutterings came to his ears. He couldn’t make out what she was saying at first. It wasn’t until she began fighting his hold he could make out what she was saying. Then his blood ran cold as she talked about her last meeting with this douche bag Devin.

He listened as she begged him for time to get the money back to him. The confusion in her voice and then the fear heated his blood. Word for word, she begged him for her son’s life, word for word he listened to her struggle. He could almost see her in his mind as she ran from him to get to her son.

When he couldn’t take anymore, he gathered them both in his arms and whispered in her ear. “I’m here now. I’ll protect you and Bret.”

Then he froze as she whispered his name. She said something else but he couldn’t make out her exact words. It was something to do with Bret and him. Did she say he was Bret’s father? He waited in the dark for her to repeat her words but she never did.

He snuggled down and nuzzled her neck, hoping to get her talking again. but she had fallen back to sleep. He waited for a time then he too fell asleep.

  CHAPTER TWELVE

When Talon woke up, he was alone. For a moment he didn’t move. All he could think about was what he’d learned during Fiona’s nightmare. Her fear not so much for her own life but for her son’s life. That douchebag Devin had threatened to kill her son right in front of her then threatened to kill her too.

That to Talon had been unacceptable. He would gut the man for that alone. She’d done the right thing to come to him. He didn’t know then that Devin had ties to the mob and even now, that didn’t matter much to him. You don’t threaten to kill a kid to get back a lousy hundred bucks.

Talon got out of bed and went to the bathroom. As he pissed, he wondered what would happen next. His life was so out of control now, that he couldn’t believe it. First Hammer dying then finding out his secrets was shattering enough, now Fiona was back and she totally flipped him out.

Her secrets ran deep. Who did she hook up with after she left him? Who fathered her kid and didn’t stick around to take care of them? Too many questions and not enough answers.

Grabbing his cut on his way out, he struggled to put it on as he walked down the hall to the main room. He paused and looked around for Fiona or Bret. What he saw though made him frown. He saw Eagle sitting at a table with three other men. Two of them he knew, they were Falcon and Raptor. The third man was older and he knew him well. It was Digger.

Digger was a man he hadn’t seen in four years. He patched out when he got too old to keep up with the younger men of the MC. They hadn’t seen or heard from him since then.

Talon walked over to the table and sat down next to Digger. “How the hell are you old man?” he asked with a grin.

Digger held out his hand and shook Talon’s. “Better than you it seems,” he noted as he glared at the younger man. “I came to pay my respects for Hammer.”

Talon nodded and grabbed the cup of coffee someone had placed in front of him. Then he paused and thought for a moment. Looking over to the older man, he had to ask, “Did you know about Hammer’s gambling problem?”

Digger snorted. “Yeah, I knew and so did your dad.”

“Son of a bitch,” Talon swore. He couldn’t believe Hammer had been gambling for so long. “Did you know he’s into the Bratva for his gambling debt?”

Digger shook his head. “No I didn’t. Bullseye told him
flat out a long time ago to quit or he’d be out. Hammer did quit for a long time then he got sucked back in. Only this time no one knew about it. I caught on to his problem about five years ago. Came by one day and found him all beat to shit. I asked him what happened and he said he got jumped on his way home. I told him I’d get some of the boys together and find the bastards who did it and we’d leave them worse of but Hammer said no. Told me flat out not to bother. He told me then this was because of a gambling problem he had.” Digger paused and growled, “I told the old bastard to get his problem taken care of, or I would tell Eagle about it. He said he would. A year later, I left. I thought the old bastard would do what he promised.”

“Yeah well, all he did was get further in debt.” Eagle looked disgusted. “Now we find out he’s three million in debt and his debt has rolled over to the MC.”

Digger started in surprised. “Are you fuckin kidding me?”

Talon shook his head. “He’s been keeping current by paying a hundred fifty grand every three months. That interest on his real debt.”

“Holy shit.” Digger swore as he let the info sink in. Then he looked at Eagle. His look was calculating. “And what about the other thing we talked about? Was anything ever done about that?”

Eagle shook his head. He glanced over at Talon and was about to say something but Digger beat him to it.

“Talon, there’s something you need to know,” Digger began. “It’s about the ambush that took out four of our men, one being your dad.”

Talon froze then turned his head slowly to where Digger sat. “What about it?”

“I heard some rumors,” Digger admitted. “You know how we could never find out who actually pulled the trigger or set us up?”

  Talon nodded.

“There was a reason for that.” Digger took a deep breath and went on, “You know rumors, you can only believe half of what you hear and then you don’t know if it’s true or not. But this one kept coming up over and over again. I contacted Hammer and he said he would look into it but I never did hear back from him on it.”
