After Everything I've Done For You 2
Page 4
“I…um, well if you don’t have anywhere else to go…I guess it should be fine for a little while.” Bianca’s voice cracked the entire way through her response.
I sat back on the bed in shock. Myking remained silent. His phone began to blare Yung Jock through the speakers as he hits the button and places it to his ear as he turned heading out the door. Jeremiah called after him but he left without hesitation. Bianca’s eyes locked on mine as if she knew I knew she had fucked up. I did, but she didn’t know that. She looked back at the door as it closed looking like she was about to have a panic attack. I wanted to tell her so bad to go after him but that would’ve been me giving a fuck about her happiness. Fuck that bitch.
“You know baby, if it doesn’t work out for you over there you can always come and stay with your kids. That’s never a problem.” I squeezed his hand hard but gentle enough so that I caught his attention.
“Yeah, I appreciate that. But I think I’m gonna go home,” Jeremiah said as if he was happy as hell.
“Hmm, well the invitation is always available.” I stood tired of watching him gawk over this stupid bitch. “I’m really glad to see you doing well though, J. Oh, um…I almost forgot. How’s Damita doing? Is she getting better or worse? She was my friend you know. I’m just really concerned.”
A nerve was struck in the both of them as all eyes were on me. I guess that was the forgotten equation in this whole ordeal. It was cool that Jeremiah was still living but there was one person who didn’t make it through all of this. She was the one thing that hung in the balance of the fate of their relationship. Myking wanted Bianca so badly but in my eyes she was nothing but another dumb bunny for Jeremiah much like myself. We weren’t so different, she and I. We were both stupid for bad men.
“My cousin. Damita. She’s dead.” Bianca hung her head low deep in her thoughts before she brought her line of sight back up to Jeremiah. “You were fucking her when y’all was shot.”
“Awe, com’ on now baby. Who told you that shit?” Jeremiah probed turning his attention my way. “You can’t believe everything you hear out here.”
“Who the fuck you think told me that shit? The damn police. How else did you think I knew?” She countered.
“Uh, I don’t know. I was just saying. Man, fuck that shit. Don’t believe them motherfuckas baby. I was just giving her a ride to the bus station. That’s all.” Jeremiah took her hand in his.
“Naw, you’re a fucking liar. Even now while you’re recovering from a life threatening situation you still wanna lie about the shit?” Bianca blew out steam as she shook her head.
“No, it’s not even like that B—“
“So how long have you been fucking my cousin?” She asked.
I turned to him wondering the same thing. “Yeah, how long you been fucking her cousin, J.?”
“Wha…I…Ugh.” Jermiah dropped his head.
“That’s what I thought. I can’t believe you would fuck me over like that. This bitch I knew about, but my own damn cousin? You’re foul, J. Real foul.” Bianca stood snatching up her Birkin satchel.
“No, wait B,” Jeremiah reached out. “Don’t go. I need you. You’re the only one who can help me get better.”
“Ugh, excuse me. What about me?” I asked looking crazy as hell. “What am I chopped liver?”
“Com’ on now Sunset. You know damn well you got those two little kids crying and screaming all day around there. You can’t take care of me while I recover, work, and chase after 2 kids all day.” Jeremiah shut me down real quick.
“Ugh, I’m gonna do the Christian thing and let you stay at the house until you recover but after that you’ve gotta go. I’m done with you Jeremiah.” Bianca threw her hands up in the air before walking out of the door.
“Hmm, looks like you don’t get the storybook ending you were hoping for. Huh, J.?” The grin that filled my face was priceless. There was nothing left for me here. The proof of that was more than evident as I skated towards the door myself. “Welp, it looks like my job is done here. Bye, bae.”
Chapter 6
Minutes Later
MyKing
Hitting the blunt hard as fuck elevated my thoughts to a higher plane. A thick cloud of smoke danced carelessly throughout my truck against the early morning sun. I wasn’t feeling none of that shit that shawty done said up in the hospital room. She tried to make it seem like she didn’t know what was good for her, like she just couldn’t tell that ho ass dude the word no. That was her tapping into her feelings for him again and being afraid to step out on him.
She was afraid of leaving that whack ass nigga alone and being happy, probably feeling like she wasn’t worthy of happiness. I was gonna prove her wrong though. She deserved everything that I had waiting for her but it was up to her to reach out and grab it. She had to accept it and everything that came with it. I wasn’t about to chase her if she couldn’t see what she had staring her right in the face no matter how badly it ate me up inside.
For too long I've sat idly by, playing my part until just the right moment. Never had I ever hunted a female the way that I did her. There was just something about a strong black woman with confidence for days and brains that were unmatched that I just had to have. Yeah, it was fucked up that it had to be my boy’s girl that I fell in love with but it was what it was. I had to have every bit of her. But what I wasn't going to do was sweat shawty when she didn't want to be. When she was ready for a nigga, she knew just how to reach me.
“Aye, the whole thing is fucked up dude. Motherfuckas wasn’t on their game last night, too much fucking around out here. You study long, you study wrong my nigga,” I barked through the phone as I finally answered it’s buzzing, shoving it up to my ear.
“Yeah, yeah. But everything is everything.” My boy Tee blared through the other end like he was out of breath. “Shit didn’t go as planned but it was all good from my understanding. Ain’t nobody playing with this money, my nigga.”
“And where that dude at?”
“Waiting on you pimp,” Tee chuckled.
“Alright then. I’ll holla later on that demonstration later.” Taking another few pulls of the blunt, my eyes glossed over staring out into the distance.
“Alright then, one.” He hung up.
Tossing the phone in the cup holder, tiny droplets of rain began to form on the windshield sending my mind into deep thought. Wondering what kind of man would treat a good woman the way Jeremiah treated Bianca. Fuck the fact that he was my boy and all, the nigga was shiesty as hell, grimy at best. He didn’t give a fuck about too much of anybody but his self.
Selfish motherfucka. If it didn’t benefit him making dollars then it didn’t make a lick of two cents. After all the shit B. pillow talked to me about the shit he said about me, I knew that I was no different to him than anybody else he fucked over. There wasn’t shit keeping that nigga from doing me grimy either.
Whatever he was on, I wasn’t about that shit. Growing up together like we were brothers ain’t got shit on a nigga’s loyalty in the present day. A nigga could be born right out the same pussy with his family and still snake his blood in the end. I had no reason to trust Jeremiah whatsoever. It was always about the money so the shit was always strictly business in my eyes, period. On any given day, I could be good at playing the role. But shit was about to change in more ways than one around here.
“Myking,” B. shouted, banging on the passenger side window like she had lost her damn mind while the rain started pouring hard. “Open up the door.”
With a crazed look on my face, I did as she requested popping the locks as she yanked the door open. She was drenched from the rain that poured like a shower outside. Her body squished in the seat as she adjusted herself and slammed the door behind her. Her thick thighs were squeezed inside of those tight ass blue jeans while water dripped its wetness onto my leather seat. I couldn’t help but feel jealous that I wasn’t that damn seat.
My tongue spread a thin coat of saliva across my lip
s as I placed the blunt to them taking a long hit. My eyes never left off of her trying to figure out her ammo. She looked stressed. If she was there to tell me that she was in love with that nigga and couldn’t fuck with me anymore, I wasn’t ready to hear that shit at all.
“What’s good?” I asked with one eyebrow raised.
“Why did you leave baby?” She whipped her head turning towards me huffing like she was out of breath. “You’re just gonna walk out on me like that, Myking? We’re better than that and you know it.”
“Man, I’m not trying to hear that bullshit if you’re about to tell me that you’re still in love with this nigga—“
“Argh. This nigga is your best fucking friend. I would think that you would feel a little remorse for the shit that happened to him, let alone the shit that we’re doing to him. Regardless of what’s going on between all of us personally, what we’re doing is wrong.” An ambulance drove up on the side of the truck flashing its lights and making a small twinkle in her eyes.
Bianca was right. So fucking what though. I didn’t care how wrong we were for fucking around behind Jeremiah’s back. He was a mark ass nigga and that was just the bottom line. She looked at him as if he was big shit. She thought he was the man around here since he paraded his self around like he ran the city. Bianca was so blinded by this nigga’s bullshit that she couldn’t see the real him. I knew the real him inside and out. Her eyes needed to be busted wide open.
“So, do something about it then.” Rolling down the window a bit, I flicked what was left of the blunt out the window and rolled it back up.
“Do something?” The confused glare she shot towards me quickly diminished once she caught wind of my meaning. “Oh, you mean tell him about us.”
“Ain’t no other way. We have to do it anyway. I refuse to keep fucking with you and remain a secret. We’ve played secrets for too long already.”
“Yeah but we weren’t fucking then, Myking. We were just friends keeping secrets between us. We’re fucking now and even though I put him out, me fucking with you is still wrong. Y’all are boys. I can’t justify that shit even I tried,” Bianca sighed sinking her head in her hands. “How am I supposed to tell him about us without getting all my teeth knocked around the block?”
“You think I would let you tell that nigga something like that without being there? Fuck that, you think I would let that nigga put his hands on you while we’re together?” Just thinking about that shit had me heated. “I got you, B. Don’t worry about none of that shit. You hear me?”
Bianca raised her head back up locking her eyes with mine. Shawty had all kind of fear lurking through them motherfuckas but she didn’t know what kind of nigga she had sitting right next to her. She didn’t know whom I had morphed myself into in the past five years. I wasn’t the same quiet person who sat in the background watching and playing my part. Yeah, I still did that shit but it was only to make sure I struck a nigga at the right moment. My time was now.
“Naw, I think I’d better tell him alone. I’m a big girl. I got myself into this mess so it’s only right that I get myself out.” It seemed like she was trying to psych herself out.
“You ain’t gotta do shit alone as long as I’m your man, B.” I took her chin in my hand forcing her eyes back over to mine.
“I know baby. But I can do this. All I need to do is make sure that I break it to him in a way that will get him to see that he’s the one who fucked this all up. ‘Cause in hindsight he really is.”
“Fine. Have it your way. You just remember that I’m only a phone call away. Ya heard?” I stroked her wet hair from over her eye.
“Yeah, I know,” she grumbled in the sexiest way.
A slight smile letting her know that I was real about the shit, sealed the deal. She was officially mine and as she leaned over her seat into mine to give me the softest kiss she confirmed it. Her lips felt like clouds against mine. I craved this woman like none other.
I’ve had my share of women but none of them compared to the beauty inside and out that Bianca held. I could talk to her, relate to her. She felt me on a deeper level and liked me for who I was, not what I could do for her. Even though we grew up on different sides of the track, shawty was real and that’s why I needed her in my life.
Chapter 7
Five Days Later
Bianca
…Cigars on ice, cigars on ice
Feeling like an animal with these cameras all in my grill
Flashing lights, flashing lights
You got me faded, faded, faded
Baby, I want you, na na
Can't keep your eyes off my fatty
Daddy, I want you, na na
Drunk in love, I want you
We woke up in the kitchen saying,
"How the hell did this shit happen?"
Oh baby, drunk in love we be all night
Last thing I remember is our beautiful bodies grinding up in the club
Drunk in love…
I had to blast my girl Beyoncé while getting eggs, bacon, pancakes, and cream of wheat all hooked up on the menu for my man. If I wasn’t a master at shit else, nobody could say that I didn’t know how to take care of a good man. Myking could have run for Man of the Year and won in a heartbeat, no contest. The sex was crazy but the way that the man talked to me it was as if he thought we were on the verge of taking over the world. His soul spoke to mine without words and knew just what to say to keep me satisfied. Having wasted all of that time with Jeremiah, it was then that I realized I was with the wrong man the entire time.
“Aye sexy. What you doing over there?” Myking strolled into the kitchen wearing only his boxers and giving me the greatest view of the dent his bulge created in them, his chest muscles flexing as he entered the room.
“Hey you. You hungry?” A seductive smile filled my face.
“Shit, hell yeah,” he grinned sniffing playfully while staring at the delectable meal spread across the counter. “But not for this though. I’ve got a taste for something more juicier and wetter than this.”
I blushed as his smile went from casual to seductive, almost devilish. He licked his lips from left to right like he was about to devour every tender morsel of me. “Man, you’d better not get nothing started in this kitchen. You know I don’t give a fuck where we are for us to get it in.”
“Is that a challenge?”
“Shit, it’s whatever you want it to be,” I countered with a quiet giggle.
Myking searched my body before locking his eyes on my erect nipples poking out through his white tank top I had slipped on before leaving the bed earlier. His eyes hunted me like a hungry wolf in the woods. Only I wasn’t afraid to be eaten. Shit that man’s tongue had the strength of ten men. It was lethal, that ether. I could beg for him to stop, for him to give me some time to recover and he would pretend not to hear me only slowing down before speeding back up again. His tongue to my pussy was like crack to a dope fiend. I had to have that shit every minute of the day.
“Don’t start nothing and it won’t be nothing,” Myking groaned with his nose pressed gently against mine as our bodies followed suit.
“Hmm, you don’t scare me.” My lips attacked his insatiably.
His large hands encased themselves around my waist clinging to my backside like magnets. Myking squeezed like crazy before giving each cheek a playful tap, dishing a little pain but the creaminess forming in my panties marked only the feeling of pleasure. In that moment, I thought of nothing else but he and I on a remote island together. I was long overdue for a lengthy vacation in the sun and Myking was the perfect man for a romantic getaway like that.
Whenever Jeremiah and I used to go on vacation it was always depressing as hell. He would get on petty shit and focus on the women whose bodies were more toned and slimmer than mine. He would point out how I should hit the gym to get a body like theirs and how perfect they looked in their string bikinis.
Needless to say, all we did was argue the entire time we vacatione
d. But when I look into Myking’s eyes, I knew he would never treat me that way. When he looked at me he saw me, all of me, for who I was not who I could be if I was smaller. He saw no flaws at all it seemed. His love was boundless. It would only be right for me not to return that to him void. My mind drifted to that wondrous tropical vacation as the doorbell rang.
“Who is it?” I asked while Myking’s hands continued to squeeze firmly on my backside as he nibbled on my neck.
"It's me. Jeremiah."
At that very moment time stood still and my heart sank down to the fiery pits of hell. I was at a lost for words that this man showed up here unannounced out of all possible times he could've came. The kicker was that he texted me yesterday asking if I could pick him up from the hospital. So, why would he just show up here unexpectedly like that? Furthermore, how the hell did he get here? He can barely walk.
It pained me to look up at Myking's facial expression but I needed to see it before I opened the door. It was hard to read his blank face. There was nothing left for me to do than open the door and let my past back in. Every part of me cringed at the thought of possibly causing a rift between me and Myking, but even after all the shit Jeremiah sent me through, it wasn’t right to throw him away while he was unable to care for himself.
“Come on in, J.” I yanked the door open waving my hand for him to enter as Myking turned heading toward the bedroom.
“Thanks.” Jeremiah crept in slowly dragging a small clear drawstring hospital bag behind him. “Damn, this place looks different.”
“Hmm, well nothing’s changed so I don ‘t see why. But anyway, how the hell did you get here when you can barely stand,” I asked shaking my head.
“I took a cab. I couldn’t stay in that hospital any longer. That shit was depressing as hell. Plus I’m good. I’m walking now, ain’t I?” He plopped down softly on the sofa cringing and holding his stomach in the area where he had surgery.
