  Pulling back, I peer down at him, lips swollen and beautiful. I feel his Adam’s apple bob under my palm, waiting for my next move.

  I step back, putting space between us to remove my shirt. I nod at him to follow my lead when he stands there, slack against the wall, staring at me. He straightens then, coming out of the fog, and removes his brightly colored shirt, stepping from his shoes that he’s wearing without socks. Smirking to myself more than him, I love that he’s that man.

  “You okay with where this is going?” I ask him to be sure before I can’t stop.

  “Yeah,” he croaks out, then clears his throat. “I’m very okay with where this is going. Have you seen you?”

  My smile grows bigger as I dip my head. My fingers hook into the loops at his waist, and I pull him into me again. “I wasn’t expecting this—or you—tonight.”

  “Me either.” He smiles. “I mean, like an hour ago I thought you were very testosteroney and not into this,” he says, waving a hand up and down his torso.

  “Oh, I’m very into this,” I tell him as I lean forward to kiss him again.

  “Thank you, God, for Harry. Thank you, God, for Jade.” He begins to prattle off as I kiss down his neck, making me laugh.

  “You know, it’s kinda hard to do this when you’re saying my cousin’s name,” I tease as I bite at his collar bone.

  His head falls back, hitting the door behind him. “I don’t know. You feel pretty hard to me.”

  “Mmm…” I hum as I run my nose up his throat before nipping at his chin. “Ready to put that theory to the test?”

  He nods his head up and down rapidly, his eyes looking at me widely. “Uh huh.”

  Pecking his adorable lips once more before I step away, I smile after him as he leads me to his bed.

  Lindsay Becs has always enjoyed writing as an outlet and a fun hobby. Having pushed outside her box, she wrote and self-published her first book in 2017. Now, she hopes to continue to explore deeper into the world of writing. Tragically beautiful love stories are what she enjoys writing most, but who knows what the future will hold.

  Lindsay is also an avid reader, Netflix binger, vinyl crafter, and never goes far without coffee first. She wishes fall lasted all year long, and peanut M&M’s are her writing fuel. She is from the Buckeye state of Ohio but is privileged to have lived all over the world with her military husband, their three crazies, and seven-year-old puppy.
