“God, you feel so good,” he whispered.
Her own hands began moving, running down his hard chest. He pulled off her sweater and she wished she was wearing some sexy, silky bra instead of her serviceable white cotton underwear. But he didn’t seem to notice or care. In fact, the bra quickly found its way to the floor, followed by her slacks and panties.
“You are beautiful, just like I said. You drive me crazy.” And then his mouth was on her breast, sucking, licking. She ran her hand through his thick, dark hair, as she moaned in pleasure.
Very soon they were both naked, lying tangled in each other’s arms. As his tongue circled her nipple, his fingers probed the sensitive flesh between her legs. Hopelessly lost to lust and desire, she was wonderfully wet and more than ready for him when he entered her. Although he was a big man and fully aroused, they seemed to fit together perfectly. They fell into a rhythm as old as time, and when he began thrusting into her, she opened herself fully to him. In that final, climactic moment, their psychic connection was as total and complete as their physical connection. She shattered into myriad glittering shards of pleasure. The euphoria Kim felt was followed by a realization, an epiphany. She knew without any shred of doubt that she and Mike were truly meant to be together.
She was moved to the bravest act of her life. “I love you,” she told him.
“Sweetheart, I love you too.”
Mike loved her and she loved him. That was what really mattered. Kim wished Lorette could have known this kind of happiness. But somewhere, Kim decided, her friend’s restless spirit was finally at peace.
