Riding the Waves: TEKSUEN (The Agency Book 1) Page 4

  * * *

On his way back to his room, Tek passed his brother’s room and realized for the first time that Takeem had gone out. He hadn’t realized when he’d walked in that Takeem wasn’t there. Hadn’t given it a second thought. It was a good thing his brother wasn’t there. He didn’t feel like sharing Josinia with anyone yet. He wished they didn’t have to go out. He’d have preferred just staying in, sharing a nice quiet dinner, and making love with Josinia.

A light bulb went off in his head. Maybe they didn’t have to leave after all. He was a pretty good cook himself. Not as good as his brother, but he knew how to grill a steak, bake a potato, and make a salad. There were always various containers of ice cream in the freezer since he and his brother loved it so much.

  “Great,” he said to himself.

Tek began to take out the various ingredients he would need for dinner. Hopefully he would have everything ready by the time Josinia woke up.

He began to hum to himself on his way to the shower. His plan was genius. Tek just hoped Josinia thought so, too. Drying himself off, he pulled on a pair of jeans, leaving the top button undone, and then went to prepare their meal. He’d just about finished when he heard her soft voice.

“Something sure does smell good,” she said.

“I figured I’d cook…” he started and was held momentarily speechless. Josinia was radiant, standing there in a simple peach-colored halter dress that stopped well above her knees and clung to her every curve. The dress wasn’t meant to seduce…but damn, she wore it well. He could only watch in awe as she walked barefoot over to him to survey what he was doing. Her hair was pulled up in some kind of twisty thing atop her head, allowing him full view of her lovely neck.

“Tek, are you listening to me?” he heard her say.

He mentally shook himself. “Huh…what was that?” he stammered.

“I asked if you needed help, but you seemed to be miles away.”

“You get more beautiful each time I see you. You take my breath away,” he whispered. The little vein at her neck pulsated under his scrutiny, sending an electric shock straight to his cock. He smiled inwardly. Oh yeah…she wanted him just as much as he wanted her. To hell with it. He needed this woman like he needed his next breath.

“Why do you keep saying that?” she asked.

  “Because it’s true,” he answered.

“There’s more to me than a pretty face, Tek,” she murmured.

Turning the burner off, Tek closed the distance between them and wrapped his arms around her waist. Leaning forward, he looked directly into her eyes.

“I know that, Josinia. You reek of intelligence. However, it doesn’t negate the fact that you’re a very beautiful and desirable woman. A woman that I would like very much to make love to. Would you like for me to make love to you, Josinia?” he asked.

Tek watched her eyes turn a darker shade of gray and released a breath that he hadn’t realized he’d been holding.

“Tek, we don’t even know each other. I would love…”

“My birth name is Teksuen Alexander Montreal. I was born and raised in New York. I am the product of interracial parents: a Chinese mother and an African-American father, and I have a twin brother, Takeem Aidian Montreal. Up until six months ago, I worked on Wall Street in Foreign Exchange. Now I’m part owner in a special business with three friends. I’m very close to my maternal grandparents on my father’s side as well as my uncles, aunts, and cousins—at the same time I don’t have a relationship at all with anyone on my mother’s side; they didn’t approve of my parents’ relationship and disowned her. My parents have been married for thirty-five years and are still very much in love. So now will you let me make love to you?” he breathed and was rewarded with her rich laughter.

“Wow, that was a mouthful! So, do you still live in New York?”

“I divide my time between New York and Atlanta. Stop stalling, Josinia. I’m about to burst here.”

“Yes, Teksuen,” she stressed. “We can make love or have sex. I’m not sure we could call it making love since we literally just met.”

Tek didn’t hesitate. He lifted her up off her feet and headed straight to his bedroom, closing the door behind him, and laid Josinia on his bed.

“My goodness, this has to be one of the biggest beds I’ve ever seen. What size is it?”

“I have no idea. I had it custom made. I told them what I was looking for, and this is what I got. Glad you like it. I plan on exploring every inch of it with you,” he said, then stood, grabbed a condom out of his pocket, ripped open the pack, stepped out of his jeans, and rolled the condom onto his erection. He watched as her eyes nearly bulged out of her head. “Don’t worry, baby, you can handle me.”

  “Uh…you’re rather large,” she whispered.

“We’ll be perfect together. You’ll see. Now, sweetness, as much as I love that dress on you, I know I’d love you even more naked. Get rid of the dress, Josinia.”

  “Make me, Teksuen,” she sassed.

  * * *

Tek’s dark eyes darkened even more. Oh man…she’d picked an inopportune time to sass him. His cock was so hard it felt as if the damn thing was going to explode. This woman…with one look she could turn him inside out, and that floored him. He was a love-them-and-leave-them kind of guy. He had a feeling it wouldn’t be so easy to leave Josinia. Besides, he suspected that though she was here with him now, casual sex was not something she was into. He didn’t even want to think about that at the moment. Tek needed to be inside of her. Like, yesterday. Without giving it a thought, he reached down, grabbed her dress by the hem, and snatched it up and over her head. He rocked back on his heels at the sight of her magnificent body.

“Damn, Josinia, I know I said this before, but you simply take my breath away.”

Her breasts were a little more than a handful, round and firm with small, berry-like nipples that hardened under his perusal. Bending at the waist, Tek brought his mouth to her breast, pulled one erect nipple into his mouth and suckled.

Josinia’s hand instantly grasped his head and held him to her breast. She began making little mewling sounds as he suckled. He switched back and forth from one breast to the other, paying each one equal attention. Releasing her breast, Tek gently pushed her back on the bed; opening her legs, he kneeled before her, placed her legs over his shoulders, and aligned his face with her wet sex. Perfect, he thought. Her almost bare pussy glistened with her juices. “Oh, baby,” he murmured, before leaning forward to swipe his tongue across her slit. Her lower body lifted off the bed, giving him better access. He ate at her like she was his favorite meal, alternating between licking and sucking on her clit.

She began to writhe and moan uncontrollably under his ministrations—holding onto his head for dear life. She was close to completion; he could tell by the way her pussy flexed against his tongue. Good. Before the night was over, he wanted her to have come several times over.

“Please,” she begged. “I’m almost there.”

Tek responded by burying his tongue as deep inside of her as he could get it. He wiggled it from side-to-side before pulling out and then repeating the process.

“More,” she pleaded, lower body bowing and lifting off the bed. “I…need more…Tek. I need desperately to come.”

“Let it go, Josinia,” he demanded, sucking on her nub while simultaneously fingering her.

“Umm, umm,” she writhed. “Umm, umm…oh God. I can’t.”

“Yes, you can,” he whispered against her clit, adding another finger. Thrusting in and out of her. “Come on, baby, let it go.” Then he twisted his fingers up inside of her, using his palm to bear down on her.

“Oh my damn,” she yelled, exploding all over his hand.

“That was beautiful, baby,” he groaned, sopping up her juices before kissing his way up her body. Starting at her abdomen, he kissed her flat belly, moving up to bring one succulent nipple into his mouth, then the other, before moving farther to capture her
lips in a scorching kiss.

Josinia felt as if she were floating on clouds after having one mind-blowing orgasm. She had thought she would never feel this way again. He definitely knew what he was doing in the bedroom.

She was still pulsating between her thighs where his very hard cock was nestled between her pussy lips. His kisses were hot; they were erotic. Josinia could taste herself on his lips, and that really turned her on. His tongue demanded just as much from her mouth as it had from her pussy. Josinia had no doubt that this man didn’t do anything in halves. His mouth demanded that she open wider and give him as much as he was giving her, and she did just that. While he sucked on her tongue, he used his hand to play with her breasts, lightly tugging on her nipples. His cock twitched against her. She wrapped her arms tightly around his back and undulated against his cock. Josinia felt her power as a woman when he growled aloud in her mouth, and she tightened her hold on his back.

She was on the verge again. Her body felt like the waves of the ocean were rolling across it. “Tek,” she groaned.

“Ride it out, baby. Stop holding back. There’s nothing to be afraid of—believe me. Go with it, Josinia,” he whispered, rolling his hips against her.

“Oh…man…what are you doing to me?” she cried.

“Come on, sweetness, your body knows what it wants—give in to it,” he breathed, reaching between them to pinch her clit.

Josinia felt as if someone had released a time bomb within her. She shook from head to toe. She shattered beneath him. Before she could come down from her euphoric high, he had pushed partway into her and stopped.

“Josinia, look at me. I want you looking into my eyes as I fill you,” he ordered, sweat dripping from his body onto hers.

She opened her eyes and looked up into the most hypnotic dark eyes she’d ever seen.

“That’s it, baby,” he said, pushing a little deeper, pulling out completely, then surging back into her. He filled her to the hilt.

Josinia cried out. “Oh my God!”

“Did I hurt you?” he asked hoarsely.

“Oh, no. You feel…so good,” she whimpered. “I can’t believe you fit.”

Tek chuckled. “I told you I would.

She didn’t think he could get any deeper within her—but she was wrong. It felt as if he were touching her womb. Josinia sobbed as he pulled out of her, but calmed as he pushed back into her. With a twist of his hips he surged in and out of her. She caught on to his tempo and met him thrust for thrust. Each time he pulled out and thrust back into her, she felt his heat.

“Josinia, baby, I can’t hold…on much longer. Come for me once more, sweetness,” he groaned, thrusting up and into her, grinding his pelvis against hers. She needed no further coaxing. Josinia yelled so loudly as she came that she almost choked.

  “Sweet Jesus!”

“Fuck yeah!” he shouted. “Fuck…that’s it, baby…give it all to me.”

His cock still twitching inside of her sent little aftershocks throughout her body. He was still straining against her.

“Damn, I can’t seem to get enough of you,” he panted, collapsing on top of her.

After her tremors finally died down, she dropped her legs from around him.

“I need to dispose of the condom,” he said, getting up and going into the bathroom. When he came back, he had a warm washcloth and washed the remnants of their lovemaking from between her thighs.

She stared up at him, surprise and embarrassment evident in her eyes.

“I’m a big man, Josinia. I could tell you hadn’t been with anyone in a while. This will ease some of the soreness. In the morning you can soak in the tub. The jets from the Jacuzzi will help ease the soreness and stiffness.”

  “In the morning?” she questioned.

“Josinia, after having another taste of you…there is no way in hell that I’m letting you out of this bed this weekend. So you need to call your girlfriends and tell them not to expect you back for the rest of the weekend.”

Josinia noted that he had said “rest of the weekend.” He wasn’t committing to anything beyond the next few days. Could she handle that, knowing that this man just wanted her for sex? Maybe committed relationships weren’t for everyone. Hell, she’d seen firsthand one failed relationship after another, starting with her parents. Her mother loved her father to distraction, and all she’d gotten in return was death and a man who’d probably cheated on her from the time they’d said their vows. Josinia thought for a moment. She’d give him tonight, but she wouldn’t promise anything else. She’d had enough heartbreak in her life, and this man had the ability to break her heart to pieces. She refused to go through what her mother had had with her father. Couldn’t even depend on him on her deathbed.

“Josinia,” she heard him call to her.

  “Wh—what?”

“Where’d you go? You had such a sad look in her eyes. What’s wrong?” he asked, the concern evident in his voice.

“I’ll give you tonight. That’s all I can promise right now,” she whispered.

He looked as if he wanted to protest. She hoped he didn’t, or she’d have to leave now.

“I’ll take tonight, Josinia, if that’s all you’re willing to give me. Something is better than nothing. Just promise me you won’t sneak off before I wake up,” he said.

Josinia gasped. Did he know it had been her that night? Nine years ago she was much thinner, her hair much shorter—she’d chopped it all off in a rebellious rage. She’d grown it out over the years, and it now hung down her back.

“Josinia, look at me,” he murmured softly.

Oh yeah, he knew. She could tell from his voice.

“You know, don’t you?” she asked quietly, not meeting his eyes.

“Look at me, Josinia,” he repeated.

Looking up, she noticed him toying with the gold chain around his neck. Her heart nearly stopped. She recognized the chain. It was hers. How did he get it?

  “How…?”

“I found it the next day on the floor next to the bed. The clasp was broken. I had it fixed and have been wearing it since then. I think even then you’d stolen a piece of my heart. I won’t lie and tell you it’s love, because I simply don’t know. All I know is that I want to be with you.”

Josinia couldn’t speak. The tears were cascading down her face. He’d kept her chain. The precious little chain that her mom had given her. She was full-out bawling now.

“What’s wrong?” he cried in alarm. “You don’t have to stay if you don’t want to.”

“It’s not that,” she hiccupped. “My mom gave me that chain just before she died. I thought it was lost forever. But you saved it. It was only a one-night stand, but you held on to something that was so precious to me.”

“You’re precious,” he said, taking the chain from around his neck and putting it on hers. “We have a lot to learn about each other. Don’t refer to our night together as a one-night stand. At the time neither of us knew it or understood it, but we made love then just as we did tonight. It may just be that we are meant to be together. There’s nothing else to explain why, so many years later, we ran into each other and immediately picked up where we left off. There’s definitely a connection.”

“I don’t know if I believe in relationships or love. My father cheated on my mom, fathering two children outside of the marriage. Then he died three years ago of a massive heart attack all alone in a Nevada hotel room while my stepmother was in their home having sex with his partner. On top of that, my twenty-year-old half-sister is determined to follow in her mother’s footsteps no matter how hard I’ve tried to keep her on track.”

Josinia sighed. “I promised my mom on her death bed that I would finish my education. I’d always wanted to be a medical doctor like my dad, but after witnessing his selfishness, I changed fields somewhat. I am a physical therapist. I really enjoy it.

“I opened a practice on Long Island with my friend Gemini. I, too, am a New York nati
ve. That night I hooked up with you…I was at a very low point in my life. But you were a lifesaver. In that one night, you gave me something I hadn’t had in a very long time. Compassion,” she choked out.

“I hated my dad for a long time, Tek. At a time that I most needed him, he wasn’t there for me. The only person I could lean on at the time was my father’s younger brother, Kadian.

“My uncle Kadian is awesome. I wish he lived in the States all year round, but he spends most of his time in Jamaica. My father was Jamaican; I inherited his eyes. My grandfather was mixed, Caucasian and African-American. Apparently he was a man whore just like my father. Uncle Kadian is only about eight years older than me, and he has a different mother from my father.

“I just want to know…why, if he didn’t love my mother…why’d he marry her? And why, when I needed him the most, did he act as though I was invisible?” Josinia spit it all out in a rush. She couldn’t stop the flow of tears falling one after the other down her cheeks and onto the pillow.

“Come here, baby,” Tek said, pulling her onto his lap and holding her tight. “You’ve had a lot to deal with in your lifetime. It’s not your fault. Some people are just selfish like that, only thinking of their own needs. Trust me, it was his loss. He missed out on having a relationship with his beautiful and intelligent daughter.”

“My brain tells me that, but my heart just can’t seem to catch up,” she sniffled.

Josinia buried her face in his chest and cried like a baby. She cried for all the times she hadn’t been given the chance to cry. She cried for the loss of her mom. She cried for almost hating her mom for leaving her alone. And she cried for this stranger who once again had given her so much, yet asked for so little in return. Josinia sat there on his lap for what seemed like eternity. She would have fallen asleep if her stomach hadn’t growled. Loudly.

Tek chuckled. “Uh oh, I think someone is hungry.”

“Oh God, that’s so embarrassing,” she groaned into his chest.

“Come on, let’s see what we can salvage of our dinner,” he said, getting up, placing her on her feet. “You can wear one of my shirts.” Josinia watched as he pulled on his discarded jeans, sans the underwear, and pulled out a white t-shirt for her. After she’d put it on, they walked to the kitchen and stopped dead in their tracks.
