After Tom had ushered Mr. Cole away, Aaron could fully concentrate on the real reason he was here. Jill.
“I’m glad you decided to come.”
She laughed. “So am I. I had no idea I’d come out of this event with a new job.”
“A job in Charlotte.” Barely an hour from where he lived. How perfect was that? At least, it would be perfect if Jill was interested in something more with him. Right now, Aaron was having trouble figuring that out. “I’m really happy for you, Jill.”
“Thanks. I’m pretty happy too.”
“So, you wanna go out and celebrate after?”
“Sure. I’d love to see all the guys and Riley.”
“Or we could, you know, go alone. Grab something to eat. Maybe even order some champagne, you know, in honor of your new job. My treat.” When Aaron finally yanked his gaze up from where he’d been kicking the toe of his boot into the dirt, it was to see Jill smiling.
“You wouldn’t mind skipping going out with the guys to take me out?”
“Mind? Hell, no. There’s a lot I’d give just to spend time with you.”
“Then, yes, I’d love to go out with you after this is over.”
Aaron couldn’t help the smile that spread wide. “Good. We can talk about your plans. I can help you move, if you want. You know, help you pack while I’m here. Help you look for a place in North Carolina.”
“That would be great.”
“And if you need a place to stay in the meantime, I do have a spare room.”
At his suggestive offer, there was a sly, sexy turning up of her lips. “Yes, you do.”
“Of course, the mattress is kind of thin on the open-up sofa.” He tipped his head to the side.
“Right. It is. Anywhere else I might be able to crash? Someplace nice and firm?”
Aaron laughed. “Yeah, I think I might be able to come up with something.”
Her smile lit her face. “Good.”
Yeah. Things were very good.

Sometimes you have to lose everything to make room for what really matters.
Studs in Spurs, Book 7
Ten years ago, Cooper Holbrook was a player when it came to women, and he knew it. Well enough that he took one look at the hero worship in Hannah Anderson’s eyes, and nipped it in the bud. She was no buckle bunny, and he wasn’t the man for her or her young son.
The years have caught up with the former champion bull rider. At forty, he’s got nothing left but a broken-down ranch to go with the friendless, near penniless, broken man he’s become.
Hannah has carried a flame for Cooper since the moment the stubborn cowboy took her son on as a bull riding student. Way back then, she saw the good man beneath the bad-boy exterior.
Now she’s finally going to do something about her feelings. Cooper might think his life is over, but Hanna sees more for him—for them, together. And she’s not giving up until he sees it too.
Warning: Contains a decade’s worth of pent-up sexual tension that’ll be smoking up when it comes charging out of the chute!
This ain’t their first rodeo…but there are a lot of other firsts they can experience together.
Studs in Spurs, Book 6
Skeeter Anderson was born to ride bulls. He bypassed college to shoot straight to the top of the elite pro tour, but lately all he can seem to do is hit the dirt.
Unwilling to admit his career might be over at twenty-one, Skeeter brainstorms a bull-riding boot camp with his buddies, which will put him closer to a girl who’s caught his eye—a stock contractor’s daughter called Riley.
Riley Davis lives and breathes bulls. Since her mother’s death, she’s been her father’s business partner as well as the apple of his eye—until a coronary rips him out of her life. Now, at nineteen, she must find a way to hang onto the family business.
When Skeeter hears about Riley’s dad, he drives straight to Mississippi to lend her a hand, his buddies hot on his heels. Suddenly Riley has more help than she can shake a stick at, and an attraction to Skeeter that’s heating up by the minute…
Warning: Contains cowboy yoga, cowboys in love, and a romance that hits so hard and fast, it makes being thrown from a bull look like a friendly game of hopscotch.
It’s the perfect plan…until the ties that bind reach into their hearts.
Studs in Spurs, Book 5
Garret James doesn’t need a woman tying him down. Not when the number of buckle bunny notches on his belt—and his position in the pro bull rider standings—are both on the rise. Just when he learns he’s this close to blowing out his bad shoulder, Silver Jordan roars into his life, long, leather-clad legs straddling her Harley. Hell, he might not mind being tied to one woman, if that one woman was her. There’s one problem—she’s his friend’s sister. But once their eyes lock, resistance is futile.
Then Silver offers him a smoking-hot deal. They both get the hottest sex of their lives and he gets access to her health insurance for his career-saving surgery—all wrapped up in a marriage of convenience.
For a while, dodging questions and hiding their arrangement is easy. But in private, they battle emotions between them they never expected to grow. After all, the marriage is only temporary…isn’t it?
Warning: Contains body piercings guaranteed to make you squirm, a very intimately placed tattoo, one clandestine wedding and even more secretive sex.
