Jace pulled Kim close and pressed the flat of his tongue against her slit, moving up with his tongue, reaching her clit, and then, swirling the tip of his tongue. His tongue lay flat against her clit, around in fast circles. This made Kim squirm and want to close her legs, not because she didn’t like it, but because the sensation was foreign and her body wanted to reject anything that it wasn’t used to. Jace, on feeling Kim’s thick thighs clamp around his head, used his strong arms to keep her legs apart, so that he could spread her open and get to the center of her honeypot, which was flowing with juices and getting wetter by the second.

“More,” moaned Kim. “More, please!” She had received oral sex before, but it had been amateurish and never gave her this kind of pleasure. It had just been awkward. It was obvious that Jace knew how to use his tongue for far more than sweet talking, though, and it was as if he was speaking the language of love directly to her honey pot. Scratch that: the language of lust, because love wasn’t what Kim had signed up for, just pure physical relief in the form of the two hottest, spiciest hunks that Bear Buns had to offer.

Gabe held the underwear to his face and inhaled Kim’s sweet, natural musk one last time before throwing the underwear to the side and dropping his hot pants to the floor. His cock was still as stiff as it had been on stage, and by this point, he was starting to get blue balls. He held the glossy head of his cock out to Kim, who used the flat of her tongue to rub the pearl of precum that had appeared at the tip of his cock all over the head of his shaft. Then, he lubricated the cock with her mouth, running it up and down over the shaft, over and over. He started to play with the shaft with her hands while kissing the balls, which had been shaven like Jace’s, both sets of equipment totally hairless.

“You really know how to use that mouth,” said Gabe, biting his lower lip.

“The question is…do you know how to use that cock?” asked Kim.

“I could tell you…or I could show you,” said Gabe. He moved to the end of the bed and Jace got up, lowering his hot pants before rubbing his hardened cock, watching Gabe enter Kim’s hole. Kim was still nice and wet from all the loving given to her by Jace’s tongue.

As Gabe entered her, Kim felt a sudden feeling of fullness that rivaled any she’d felt in the past. She’d had sex before, but it hadn’t been this filling and thus, this fulfilling. It wasn’t just about the size. Gabe knew how to use what he had, pressing into her so that she could feel his full length, but somehow, doing it without hurting her. Kim bucked her hips up and found that they didn’t come back down onto the bed. Instead, Jace was holding her ample hips up while Gabe entered her.

Gabe pulled out and Jace slid right in, the transition so seamless that Kim almost thought she’d imagined them swapping places. Jace’s cock slid right in, filling her as Gabe’s had, and after a few strokes, he switched with Gabe yet again.

In and out, out and in. This wasn’t exactly what Kim had had in mind when she thought of a threesome…but it was better. While she’d assumed they’d just be sharing her honeypot and her mouth, she much preferred this, as the two men had all their attention on her body and her pleasure. While Gabe was inside her, Jace kept her legs open, helping Gabe get deeper inside her. While Jace was inside her, Gabe pressed on her clit, making her honeypot clench on Jace’s cock, making it even harder for Jace to hold back and not unleash his load too quickly.

Kim grabbed onto Jace while he was still inside of her and pulled him close. She pressed her face into the crook of his neck and inhaled.

“It’s just like I thought,” she murmured.

  “What is?” asked Jace.

“The way you smell,” said Kim. “It’s…just like cinnamon.”

Jace pulled out and Gabe slid right in, pressing himself right up next to Kim.

  Kim inhaled…and smiled.

“So, what’s the verdict?” whispered Gabe into Kim’s ear.

“Cinnamon,” said Kim. “You both smell pretty much the same.”

“Well, we do spend all our time together, eat the same food…enjoy the same women,” teased Jace. “Or, I guess eventually, the same woman.”

“Oh, come on, none of that commitment talk while we’re in here,” said Kim. “Let’s just enjoy this for what it is…and have fun.”

Jace stopped himself from telling Kim that she was absolutely dead wrong if she thought this was going to be a one night stand, and instead, entered her, hard, because in the off chance that she was right? He wanted to give her the ride of her life.

The sensation of having two men sharing her body, worshipping it, was too much for Kim to handle. She usually took forever to reach climax, but with Jace and Gabe, the first two shifters she’d ever had sex with, things were totally different. Every sense was heightened. Every touch felt like a thousand soft touches. Every thrust felt like a thousand thrusts. Every soft kiss was like being caressed by a cloud of pleasure. That’s why it came as no surprise to her when she felt the greatest amount of joy she’d ever felt in her life, a joy that wiped her head clean of all her worries, of the week past and the day to come, as the feeling of pleasure radiated from her core out through her body, and into the two men that were sharing her body.

As Kim climaxed, the two men sharing her couldn’t help but burst. The combination of the amazing feeling of her honeypot, the sounds she made as her curves arched, and the motions her body made as she moaned brought them past the edge. Jace entered Kim first, unleashing his seed deep into her core, before pulling out, letting Gabe make his deposit as well. The white load spilled out of Kim and onto the purple satin sheets.

As Kim and the two cinnamon bears came, something magical happened, something the cinnamon bears had been waiting to have happen all their life, something Kim had no idea what she was witnessing.

The mate mark on Jace’s chest, of a sunflower, started to glow. The glow started in the brown center, turning the dark brown spot a bright amber hue, and the petals on the outside of the chest started to glow a bright yellow, starting from the inside tips of the petals, the glow making its way to the outer edges of the sunflower petals.

The mate mark on Gabe’s chest glowed too. The center of the jasmine flower, the dark yellow spot, started to turn a bright yellow, like the petals on Jace’s chest. The off-white ivory petals on the outside of Gabe’s chest turned a bright white, basking the trio in a bright light.

Kim had never seen anything like it. Was this what Tashia had been talking about when she said shifters were different in the sack? There was only one way to find out, and that was to ask what the frikkin’ heck was going on.

  Chapter Four

“Wait…what just happened?” asked Kim. “Why did your chests just glow?”

“You really don’t know?” asked Gabe. “You’ve gotta be frikkin’ kidding me.”

“Gabe, many humans don’t understand our ways,” said Jace. “Be patient. Kim…what just happened was fate sending us a sign.”

“That’s just your opinion,” said Kim.

“No, that’s just biology,” said Gabe. “Shifters…we’re different than humans, in many ways, not just the fact we can turn into animals. The mark on our chest, the mate mark? It appears at eighteen, tells us who we’re meant to be with…and during the first mating between a group of two or more fated mates, the mark glows.”

“And you’re telling me that your chest has never glowed before, not from sex with anyone else, not from eating, say, some really, really good ice cream?” asked Kim.

“Nope,” said Jace. “Mate marks only glow when we shifters have sex with our fated mate…and according to fate, that’s you.”

“No frikkin’ way,” said Kim, looking around the room for her clothes. She started changing back into her jeans and shirt and hoodie quickly. “This can’t be happening to me. Nope. No way.”

“Are you kidding me? That’s your reaction?” asked Gabe. Gabe’s bear growled and started to come to life. There was no way that the bear was about to let their fated mate
walk away, not after all these years of waiting to find her. She was right here, in the room, and she was just going to leave?

“Gabe,” said Jace, shooting his more temperamental dance partner a look. “Kindly shut the frik up.” Jace sat down on the couch next to Kim and gently offered his arm.

Kim batted the arm away. “I came out tonight to have fun,” said Kim. “I’m eighteen. I’m a college freshman. My classes start tomorrow. I can’t be involved with male strippers who think I’m their fated mate. Maybe fate made a mistake…but I know that I’m not your fated mate. No way, no how. Fate had to have made a mistake with this. I’m sorry, but…I’ve gotta go.”

  “Kim, wait –” started Gabe.

“Gabe,” said Jace sharply. “If she wants to go, you have to let her go.”

“But we’ve been –” started Gabe.

“I know,” said Jace. “I know every last word that’s about to come out of your mouth, and I don’t want to hear any of it. Do you understand me? Just shut up.” Jace’s bear hadn’t been triggered by Kim’s flight response, but it was triggered by Gabe’s fight response. The last thing that this tense situation needed was a fight, or for someone to lose control of their shift.

The words stung, but they were supposed to. They snapped Gabe out of his possessiveness. The bear retreated. Gabe found Kim’s shoes under the furniture.

“Here,” said Gabe. “Is there anything else missing?”

“No,” said Kim, slipping her shirt back on. “Cell phone, purse, shoes, clothes…that’s everything.”

Kim got up off the couch and started towards the door to the cocktail room, before turning.

“Look…I’m sorry you two think that I’m your fated mate, that I’m something special,” said Kim. “But…I’m not. Trust me. You don’t want to be involved with all this, especially if I don’t want to be involved with all that.” With that, Kim left the cocktail room.

Gabe just sat on the couch next to Jace, breathing in slow, deep breaths.

“You wanna beat the shit outta me? Fight me?” asked Jace.

“No,” said Gabe. “My bear does, but me, Gabe? No. I don’t.”

  “I’m surprised,” said Jace.

“Not as surprised as I am,” said Gabe. “I guess your mellow attitude is starting to rub off on me…and you know, I’ve always trusted you. If I didn’t trust you, we wouldn’t be sitting in this room right now, and we would’ve never met…her. But, the reason I’ve always trusted you is because you’ve always had a plan, so, Jace…what’s the plan?”

“The plan?” asked Jace. “Believe it or not, I don’t have a great one. I do know how to find her again. She was with her friend, who’s David’s new soon-to-be-girlfriend. That’s how we’ll find her.”

“Your plan better work,” said Gabe. “There’s no telling what’ll happen if we get mate madness. I know shifters usually get it when they’re older, but…”

“But there’s shifters who have had it triggered from rejection from their fated mate,” said Jace. “I know all the stories, trust me. Don’t worry, we won’t get mate madness. Trust in fate, Gabe. Fate brought us to Kim…and fate’ll bring Kim back to us.”

Kim called Tashia as soon as she was out of the cocktail room and they arranged to meet right outside the club. Tashia had been hanging out with David in a backroom ‘talking’, so luckily, she was still around Bear Buns.

“Did you have a good time?” asked Tashia when the two of them got into their cab.

“You could say that,” said Kim. “Or…you could say the complete opposite.”

“Okay, spill the beans,” ordered Tashia.

“Yes, I went to the cocktail room with the cinnamon bears, Jace and Gabe,” said Kim. “But…the unthinkable happened.”

“What?” asked Tashia. “You’re killing me with the suspense here, girl.”

Kim sighed and rubbed her temples. “They…that is to say, their marks…glowed. You know what they told me it means?”

“It means what it means,” said Tashia. “It means you’re their fated mate, there’s no two ways about it!”

“But this was supposed to be a quick, casual, fun thing before the school year formally starts tomorrow morning,” said Kim. “I just got to college. I’m not supposed to find a guy to settle down with for at least a few more years, not to mention two guys that I’m meant to be with for, oh, the rest of my life. That’s a lot to process.”

“You know that if you’re their fated mate, you three are gonna end up together somehow…right?” asked Tashia.

“I’m human,” said Kim. “The shifter rules? Maybe they don’t apply to me. Maybe fate made a mistake.”

“What do you think is more likely, that the rules of the universe magically don’t apply to you, that fate has made the first mistake it’s made in recorded history, or…that these two guys are meant to be with you?” asked Tashia. “So they’re male strippers. So what? Fate brought you three together for a reason…and if there’s one thing I know? It’s that the harder you pull away from fate, the harder fate pushes you back where you belong. You can either make this easy for yourself…or you can try and resist destiny, and waste your time. Either way? You know I’m here for you.”

The cab drove the two curvy gals right up to their dorm building. Tashia and Kim went into the dorm and went straight to Kim’s room. They’d talked about unpacking the last few boxes in her room before they’d headed to Bear Buns. While Tashia’s room was already neat and tidy and straightened out, Kim’s room needed fixing up. Luckily, WCS students were all given singles for their first year, so Kim didn’t have to share a room with a roommate, and Tashia was just across the hall.

“What can I help with?” asked Tashia.

“Can you help shelve these books?” asked Kim, passing Tashia a box of books.

Tashia opened the box and pulled a book out. It was a paperback, worn on the edges of the pages and the covers. Tashia checked out the title.

“A romance novel?” asked Tashia. “Really? I didn’t have you pegged as the type.”

“They’re my grandma’s old books,” said Kim. “Back when I lived with her, in my early teen years, I’d read these books with her, because it was more satisfying than going on stupid dates with stupid snot nosed boys…and during foster care, these gave me a sense of, well…oh, it’s stupid.”

“I’m sure it’s not stupid,” said Tashia.

“Reading the same books over and over, I was able to enter these escapist fantasies that I kept separate from my real life,” said Kim. “So, during the day, I was the poor kid who managed to get better grades than all the spoiled rich kids, but at night? I could be a princess, or I could be a badass monster hunter, or I could live the ultimate fantasy…being somebody who in the end, finds people that will unconditionally love her forever, a family. But of course, that sort of thing? It’s only ever found in fairy tales…at least, for people like me. Broken people.”

“You know you’re not broken because you went to foster care,” said Tashia. “You’re an awesome, smart, funny person, and just because the dumb bitches in our dorm don’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not true.”

“Thanks, Tashia, it’s just so hard, seeing everyone move into the dorms with their families, when I have all this junk that I had to haul over from Kansas,” said Kim.

“Well, hey, you’ve got me,” said Tashia. “And you can come over to my place for Thanksgiving and for any other holidays if you want. My parents are empty nesters, and I’m the youngest of five, and my older siblings are all working in other states right now, so my parents would love the extra company. They’ve already offered you a guest room, if you’ll take’m up on it.”

“Really?” asked Kim. “They only met me the one time.”

“And they could already tell you were nicer than the mean girls like Marie,” said Tashia. “So let’s get your stuff in order so you can start tomorrow strong. It’s the first frikkin’ day of your college career. Tell you what. You go take
a long, hot shower. You look like you need one. You trust me to unpack your stuff while you do that?”

“Definitely,” said Kim. She got up and gave Tashia a big hug. “Thanks, Tashia. I’m so glad we’re in the same hall together. You’re truly a great friend.”

Kim grabbed her towel and robe and headed to the shower, where she picked up her shower caddy and went into a free stall to take a long, hot shower. Tashia was right. It did make her feel better, at least physically, but being naked only made her think more about the last time she was naked, and who she was naked with.

Jace. Tall, light hair, dark eyes. Gabe. Burly, dark hair, light eyes. The light hair and eyes were like pure cinnamon, the dark hair and eyes like pure chocolate. They were absolutely delicious to look at, to taste, and to feel. She could still smell them on her, smell their naturally spicy, musky scent, taste the way they’d bitten her lips, and feel the way they’d caressed her skin…and no matter how much she tried to push those thoughts from her head, she couldn’t.

Kim washed up quickly and got into her robe and put her towel around her head before heading out of the shower with her caddy, ready to put it back in her cubby. She saw that Marie Blackwell, the girl who really seemed to hate her rather than merely dislike her, was surrounded by her three best friends on the hall, Lesia, Neesa, and Sabine. They were three girls who pretty much all looked the same, petite skinny blondes, with Marie being the only one in the group that was tall and leggy. All four had already made the cheerleading squad, as they’d auditioned before the term started.

Kim walked quickly, hoping to pass them without having to interact, but Marie caught sight of Kim in the mirror.

“Kim!” shouted Marie in a tone so loud that Kim couldn’t pretend she didn’t hear it. “Kimmy Kim Kim, how was your night?”

  “It was fine,” said Kim.
