“The gifts were lovely,” she told me. “But the real prize is you. You’re all I need.”

I slipped into her embrace and we stood interlocked on her porch, our mouths and bodies molded to each other. All I could think about was her skin and her scent, how beautiful she was, what I would do to make it up to her. I didn’t know what I would have done if she wouldn’t have accepted me back; my whole heart was beating for her and her alone.

“Come inside,” she said, breathing against my lips. I followed her in and straight into the bedroom, where she started to undress me with slow, nimble fingers. She pulled my shirt over my head and kissed me in the spot where my neck met my shoulder, then lowered her mouth to my breasts to take turns taking each of my nipples in her mouth. She spent a long, delicious moment lingering over my breasts, sucking and licking them. While she did so she took off my panties, nearly ripping them down in an effort to get them off of me. The next thing I knew she had undressed herself as well and was naked in my arms, her mouth finding mine and taking it in a hungry, passionate kiss. My body molded to hers and I slipped my hand between her legs to feel that she was more than wet. I stroked her folds, dipping the tip of my middle finger into her channel, and brought the moisture up and over her bud, which was swollen with desire. She pressed her mound against my hand and moaned, then intertwined her legs with mine so that we were chest to chest sitting up and our sexes were pressed together. I had been able to tell this is what she enjoyed the most about the last time and was happy to give it to her again.

I was angled on top of her and began to grind my hips against hers, barely bumping our buds together just long enough for us to both really feel it. She whimpered and moved forward to make the contact more regular, to rub against me so that I had no choice but to meet the movement of her hips in a rhythm. Her wetness felt so good against mine that I couldn’t help but to grind against her harder, almost losing control of my hips in the fluidity of hers. Her breathing grew ragged against my mouth as her orgasm built and when she came she squirmed underneath me with a soft, breathless moan. I finished after, my body hitting its peak, shattering as I gushed all over her folds.

She reached over and pulled something out of her bedside drawer. It was a double-ended toy, something that we could both slide inside of ourselves at the same time. I had never used one before but I knew the experience would be incredible just looking at the thing, and at Sandra’s face, which was lit up by a small, wicked smile and flushed from her orgasm. I kissed her, devouring her mouth as I made her lay down underneath me and spread her legs. I wasn’t going to finish again without tasting her, without making her come on my face. I moved down her body and slung her legs over my shoulders, then parted her lower lips with my thumbs and planted a hot, open-mouthed kiss on her inner folds. I kissed her as if I would kiss her mouth, my tongue sliding in, sliding upward, circling her bud. She trembled beneath me and sighed, trying to keep her hips still, to let me work. I ate her for what seemed like a long time, making her come over and over again, making up for the lost time when we were apart. I was going to taste her every day from now on. I wasn’t going to waste a moment of our time.

Finally, I pulled my mouth away. I picked up the toy and teased her bud with the tip of it, kissing her thighs, her belly, and her nipples. I slipped it just two inches inside of her and moved it back and forth in gentle thrusts, getting her used to being filled by it. Her channel was wetter than before and eager to take the toy all the way, so I had no real trouble sliding it deep inside of her. I pumped it in and out for a few moments, making sure to hit the spot inside of her that was sweetest. She let out soft cries of pleasure as I began to lick and suck her bud while I worked her channel.

After a moment, she wrapped her hands around my shoulders and pulled me upward to kiss her, using one hand to hold the toy so that I could straddle it and using the other to rub and cup my breasts. I aimed the toy inside of me and pushed down against it, filling myself up in one stroke. We were laying scissored on the bed and both began squirming on the toy at the same time. Each time she moved to work it within her it pushed deeper into me, hitting against the back of my channel. We began to move with each other, both of us getting pleasure out of the other’s movements and moans. I reached between my legs to rub my bud and I gestured for her to do the same. The harder we ground against each other, the faster we moved, so that I felt so filled and pounded by the toy that my channel clenched around it and I came hard, rubbing my bud in circles. I sat up with the toy still inside of me and plunged it inside of her with my hips, pushing it deeper into me in turn. I switched my hand to her bud and began to rub until she came too, letting out a cry that filled the small room.

When we were finished, once our bodies were settled down, I cuddled up against her warm, soft body and kissed her cheek. She looked at me with sweet eyes and smiled.

“Am I enough?” she asked, stroking my cheek with her fingertip.

“You’re more than enough,” I told her truthfully, leaning in to kiss her softly on the mouth.

  “This is total joy.”

  Chapter One

The light poured into my bedroom and made its way to my eyes. I woke with a start and my hand flailed immediately to the alarm clock beside my bed. Overslept again. I only had one glass of wine, that shouldn’t have made me so sleepy. Coffee. Coffee until it’s time for wine again, that will do the trick. I pulled on my tee shirt from last night and made my way to the kitchen when I froze. Under my blanket was what looked like a body. A long, lanky body. Of a man? My mind raced as I replayed the events of the evening before. No, no blackouts, no foggy memories, I definitely came home alone last night. After many failed attempts to get me in bed, I did not let my ex-boyfriend win me over. It was so satisfying telling him no so many times. So, who is this person in my house? Carefully and quietly, I reached for a knife from the kitchen counter and held it at my side with one hand. With the other, I reached out to pull the blanket back to get a good look. Not a man, a boy. A teenager? His wallet poked out of the back pocket of his jeans and I gently tugged it out. He rolled over, adjusted his position and kept on sleeping. William Hoyer, it read. Yes, a teenager, 18, in fact. There’s also a card in his wallet that says to call this number if he’s found wandering around. I suppose he’s harmless, someone obviously cares about him…maybe if I just wake him up he’ll go on his own? With a poke and a prod, then a gentle nudge…I try and wake him. Nothing. Not even a stir. “William!” I yell, Wake up!” Nothing. It’s like he’s not even here, I could be shouting at my fridge. With daylight wasting and my patience getting thinner, I try the number.

“This is Tasha” the voice on the other end of the line says. It’s a silky, sultry voice, very distinct. It catches me off-guard as I pause and need to bring myself back to the very odd situation at hand.

“I have your…. William?”, I say, my voice and anger
both coming back to me at once. “He’s on my couch and won’t move or wake up for that matter”. An exasperated sigh lets out from Tasha’s mouth and I can almost feel her breath on my ear. “Well?” I demand. “I don’t have time for this, you need to get him out of my house!” “Give me your address, I will be right over”. With that, the line is dead and I’m beginning to think William is too. “Your Tasha is on her way; you best wake up right now.” I yell, but my voice drops off at the end because I can already tell he hasn’t heard a thing. With a growl, I turn and head to get ready for the day, forgetting the coffee all together.

  Chapter Two

I woke from sleep in a startle. My cell phone blaring in my ear as it lay on the desk in front of me. I groggily picked it up and before I could let out a word, a woman on the other end began laying into me. “I have your…. William” she said, her anger showing itself, loud and clear across the phone line, she might as well have been in the same room. I let out an exasperated sigh. It all came together. I was up studying late last night and fell asleep at my desk, unaware that my younger brother had snuck out-again. “Well?” she screeched. Coming back to reality, I asked for her address and said I would be right over. I could not believe this happened. A stranger’s couch? I don’t even want to know how he got in. She must have been scared to death. This is the last straw, I thought to myself as I threw on my black jeans and white button up top. I sloshed some mouthwash and threw my hair back. I had to hustle if I was going to make it to work on time. Working late nights and studying after did not leave much room for error and unfortunately for me that’s all my brother has time for-making mistakes and getting me involved in them. By the time I arrived to the house, fifteen minutes had passed. I had worked myself into a state-rehashing all the drama William had pulled me into over the last few months. It wasn’t enough that I was taking care of him but also cleaning up his messes too?

I steadied myself for another slashing as I knocked on the door. Within seconds it opened. I didn’t know who I thought was on the other end of the line but this woman certainly isn’t what I had imagined. Petite and fair-skinned, her piercing blue eyes looked right through me as I told her who I was. Before I could say more, she grabbed my hand and pulled me inside. “There he is” she gestured, her arm sweeping to the side and her lips pursed. I could not believe he was wrapped up in a blanket, not a care in the world, while all this drama was unfolding around him. So much had already happened this morning and there he was, snoozing away. A loud snore interrupted my daydreams and the anger returned. “William” I grunted as I pulled the blanket back, I turned his face towards me and squeezed his cheeks together. His eyes fluttered and opened, his eye brows raised and a look of shock flashed across his face before vanishing, replaced with his classic non-chalant smirk that everyone knew-and hated. “Oh, good morning sister, to what do I owe this-” I grabbed him by his hoodie and his feet shuffled. “We’re going” I said sternly and brushed past Michelle. “Yes” Michelle said. “It’s not like I don’t have things to do, can’t you keep track of him and not let him, oh I don’t know, break into people’s homes!?” I bit my lip and turned. “No harm done” I mutter under my breath, gesturing to the one crumpled blanket on the couch. Everything else in the apartment was immaculate. If it wasn’t for the blanket, it was like William was never here at all. “I think I would rather stay here”. William says smugly. Michelle seems like a lot more fun that you do, sis” he grinned and looked her up and down. “I mean, I wouldn’t kick her off the couch, if you know what I mean.” He began to chuckle at his own joke and Michelle’s eyes widened. “I don’t need to start the day by getting hit on, she emphasized, by your 18-year-old, pathetic excuse for a human being, brother!” “Hey, don’t talk about him like that, he’s just a- “delinquent” Michelle interrupted, her eyebrows raised, waiting for me to agree. My temper was rising; I did not need this today. In fact, it was the very las thing I needed. I had no time to deal with William and argue with this perfect stranger. And damn, do I mean perfect. As she began to criticize me some more, I couldn’t help but notice her body. Her figure was out of this world amazing. Even angry, I could tell she had a good heart and I wondered what she would look like smiling at me, kissing me…but I snapped out of it because William interrupted my thoughts with his loud booming voice saying “I am staying with Michelle and there’s nothing you can do about it”. And he sat himself on the barstool and grabbed an apple out of a bowl.

  Chapter Three

Not the morning I had imagined having when I woke up. As Tasha struggled to reason with William, I took a moment to try and calm myself down. I looked at this woman, this stranger, who was in my living room, and who was being very rude considering the situation, but for some reason I could not take my eyes off her. Her jaw line was strong, but delicate. There was a silent strength to her, a calmness despite all her anger. As she scanned the situation over once again, William was continuing to debate Tasha – and look me up and down. I shook my head in annoyance and interrupted the arguing. “Not only did I wake up with a stranger that broke into my home, but now I must listen to family drama, too? I don’t think so”. Before they could respond, my cell phone rang. “What now?” I shouted. Nobody should be bothering me this early on Saturday morning. “Oh no…” I muttered to myself when I saw it was my office calling. Upon answering, I learned that an employee was demanding his paycheck early and wouldn’t leave and I was the only one who could issue it. Of course, I would go in but I had to get these strangers out of my living room first. “Look” I said as I breezed into the room, grabbing William’s sweater with one hand and extending my palm to show them the door with the other. “I have to go to work soon, you guys have got to go.” I demanded. “We’re going, we’re going” Tasha said with a hint of sarcasm, like this was my fault. “Uh, sorry Tash, William said, I gotta take a leak” and with that he spun off the barstool and made a “sorry not sorry” grin. I rolled my eyes and pointed around the corner, through that hallway but don’t dare touch anything, I warned. “He’s not a thief” Tasha said as William disappeared around the corner. “No, I’m sure he’s not, I replied. He just breaks into people’s homes, completely different. My eyebrow raised, my arms folded. “What is wrong with him anyway?” I ask her, trying to sound more sincere than curious. William certainly came off as a typical teenager, although he gave off this impression that he was stoned. “I’ve apologized so many times now, as soon as William finishes up, we’ll be out of your hair.” Tasha says dryly, making it sound like I’ve inconvenienced them in some way. “Excuse me for trying to make any sense of this situation-save it, there’s probably nothing wrong with him except he’s an entitled and very spoiled brat who has you to get him out of his messes, so why would he need to care?” Tasha’s eyes widened and her jaw hardened. “You don’t know our life, so don’t even pretend that you do.” “You’ve been gruff and hostile ever since you got here this morning and look-it’s been an hour and you are still here! You haven’t apologized profusely; William doesn’t seem to care-at all-and when I even attempt to try and figure out what is going on you get mad?” We stared back at each other, not sure what to do next. Tasha spies William hovering in the hallway. When I catch her gaze shift, I turn around too. “Ok, ok, ladies” he smiles, you have my attention.” he says with a loud booming voice and begins to laugh. I tilt my head to the side and purse my lips and look at Tasha, “I think I’m right after all.” Tasha grabs William’s things and moves around the kitchen island to grab his arm. He seems to realize this should be a stopping point in this game he’s playing-either that, or he’s just bored now, because he willingly follows along. “Thank goodness, please, get out of here already.” I feign-plead as they head towards the door. “But I didn’t even get your number, and after we slept under the same roof” William cackles. Tasha pushes him lightly out the door and turns to say something to me but stops. “Never mind” she sighs and she closes the door behind her. I lean against the door and lock it. “Ho
w the hell did he even get in here?” I wonder, I completely forgot to ask.

  Chapter Four

The car ride home is tense and I make sure to let William know he has crossed the line. Not only did I not get a good night’s sleep, he snuck out, broke into someone’s home and caused a major scene. Did he not realize he could have easily broke into a home of someone a lot stronger and a lot more violent? He sure chose the house with the grouchiest of women. William laughed at first, but seemed to come around when I guilt-tripped him. That always worked, but never for long enough. He would get back to his antics within a week or two. At least I could count on five or so days of relative peace. Lost in thought, I don’t realize so much time had passed. I slam on the gas and whip around the cars on the highway. Evidently, my sudden change in mindset made William’s phone drop out of his hand mid-text. “Hey, sis, what the hell?” he says a little too angrily. “What the hell?” I mimic back, trying to keep my eyes on the road-you have some nerve to get upset with me after today. I have gotten you out of so many situations, the time I had to pull you off a roof downtown, the three days you disappeared only to call me from Cancun, out of money and no passport!” “Wait, my favorite was the time that you got fired from every job-ever.” I swerve into our driveway and we both swing open the doors. William is yelling at me now, telling me I will never understand him and that it isn’t his fault. Immediate regret washes over me but I have no time to focus on that. William is storming inside and heads to his room, slamming every door he could on his way in. I screamed behind him, he was really testing my patience. I suddenly felt the weight of everything on my shoulders when I looked at the time. I was going to be late again, and again because of William. I grabbed my things and left, leaving William and our problems at home.
