Kayreil reached his brother's dark, cherry wood doors and his eyes darted around, making sure no one was about. He knew his brother's door would be locked tightly, but during his spying, he had seen where his brother had kept a spare key outside his room. Kayreil quickly glanced around one last time to ensure his secrecy, then pushed the heavy door open, entered and quickly shut it tight once more.
The extensively lavish room was musky from nearly an entire season of inactivity but everything remained exactly the way his brother had left it. Kayreil's eyes danced with intrigue and possibility as he moved through his brother's expensive and prized possessions. The further in the room Kayreil made it, the more the musky smell became one of rot and decay. He crinkled his nose in disgust at the offensive smell, and began to wonder if his brother had left food within his chamber or possibly a body of a city whore.
Soon he was in the middle of the room, his eyes fell upon his brothers' black oak liquor cabinet, and excitement quickly overruled his sense of smell. He grabbed the polished tiger bone handles and pulled open the doors.
"My King!" A servant called, running into Dante's study. "My King, you must come with me at once!"
"What is the meaning of this?" King Dante asked clearly unimpressed with being disturbed.
"It…it is your son Highness!" the servant bellowed out, her expression distraught.
Dante sighed, his irritation - his youngest son had been nothing but a pain since their return. "What has Kayreil done now?"
The servant licked her lips nervously. "It is not Prince Kayreil.… It is Prince Berrit.…"

About the Author
James Fuller has enjoyed the fine art of writing for many years now, he's currently in the process of bringing out his new up and coming fantasy novel: Fall Of The King, the first book in which he hopes to be a series of nine books. James has also written movie scripts, short stories, and has had numerous pieces of poetry published. Through the years he has acquired quite a large fan base for his fiction not only through his blog and other various social networking websites such as Facebook but with other writers and artists of all sorts. James' other personal projects also include a comic series for mature readers; a tale of love, loss and vengeance which ignites in amazing emotion as James hopes to bring his character and story to life (collaborating with an artist.)
James has an absolute passion for bringing characters and situations to life with his detailed writing skills that really brings his books to life and makes his characters and their journeys so favourable. As an author he also goes above and beyond when it comes to writing battle scenes, the intricate design and explanations of fighting, not only in swordplay but also in tactics is one of James incredible expertise in which he delights in.
When James isn't on his computer writing his main fantasy series or writing short stories he enjoys recreational activities such a camping, fishing, hiking, and archery. Along with being an adventurous outdoors man James also spends many of his hours in a day as a devoted husband and father.
