Reflect Me Page 17

by K. B. Webb

Molly finished getting ready for work while I walked Lyric to Wynee’s mom’s house. Becky was a great lady and really loved Molly and Lyric like they were family. To her, Molly was her daughter just as much as Wynee was. She had given me a nice little speech the first night I met her. She basically told me she would castrate me if I hurt Molly. I knew better than to argue with an over protective mother, so I promised her Molly was safe with me. She seemed to believe me.

After I dropped Lyric off, I walked Scottie for about ten minutes before making sure he had plenty of food and water. Molly and I rode together to Ricky’s since I planned to stay the night again. Thursdays were usually busy, but since it had been raining all day, it was likely going to be a slow night. Molly didn’t seem to mind though. She seemed happy, content, and I loved every minute of it.

There were a few of the regulars sitting in Molly’s section when we arrived, but not the huge dinner crowd I had become accustomed to. Molly told everyone about her new dog and showed off pictures. I got quite a few pats on the back and ‘good job son’s from the old timers. They all loved Molly in their own ways. More than anything, they loved it when Molly was happy. A few of the guys had told me stories about how service was when she was dating Brian. She was bitchy and grumpy, not the girl they had loved and adored. The credited me with her recent happiness, but I credited Molly. She was the one who was strong enough to leave Brian. I did try my best to make Molly happy, but I only tried to give her what she deserved. She deserved happiness, and I was just lucky that I was the one who got to try to give it to her.

Molly had spent most of her night at mine and Justin’s regular table talking about the new apartment Wynee and Justin has just rented together. The old guys didn’t mind. They just hollered if they needed anything. They really just came here for the same reason Justin and I did, beer and pretty ladies. She was out back smoking with Wynee when I heard the bell chime at the front door. I turned to see who walked in, but I couldn’t place the guy even though he looked familiar.

“Hey, who’s that guy?” Justin eyed the guy suspiciously. I just shrugged and kept looking at him, trying to place him.

He was tall, taller than me, probably about 6’ 6”, He had a short, buzz-cut type haircut and a tight dark green shirt on over dark jeans. He was built, tan and covered in colorful tattoos that started at his wrists and ran under the sleeves of his shirt.

He rubbed the top of his head and shook off some of the rain.

“Hey man, you looking for someone?” He eyed me when I spoke to him and started walking towards me. Before he reached me, I heard Wynee’s laughter and saw her walk out of the double doors. Her laughter instantly stopped once she saw the tattooed badass. She stumbled for a second, but quickly recovered and ran full speed towards him. He caught her and picked up her tiny frame, hugging her.

“What are you doing here?” She was crying, but they weren’t sad tears; they were happy tears.

“I’m home, for good.” She hugged him again before pulling him towards us. I noticed Justin didn’t look jealous, just curious. I think we both felt a vibe from this guy that said he was a good guy. Not the kind who was trying to steal girlfriends.

“This is my boyfriend, Justin and Molly’s boyfriend, Logan.” She gestured towards us. I stuck my hand out ready to properly introduce myself, when I heard a loud crash come from behind Wynee and big man. We all turned quickly to see Molly standing by the swinging doors with a tray full of food on the floor. She was stunned into place but tears were silently pouring down her face.

She stared at big man for a few seconds and I saw that he had a huge grin across his face. “Ryan?” she asked like it was a question, but she obviously knew he who he was. That’s when I realized why I had recognized him. This was Colt’s brother, Ryan. He looked similar to the pictures Molly had. Just buffer and with more tattoos, but I could tell it was him.

Molly was still standing in place when Ryan finally spoke. “Birdie.” He said it almost like it was a sigh of relief. He let out a deep breath and his shoulders relaxed. At hearing the nickname, Molly ran toward him at full speed, and he took a few large steps towards her before they met. She jumped into his arms and wrapped her legs around his waist. He was holding her around her back, not under her ass, which I greatly appreciated. Just like Justin, I didn’t feel jealous. Once I knew who he was, there was no way I could be jealous. After everything Molly had told me, I knew Ryan was family to her. She loved him like a brother. How could I be jealous of that!

He held her for a few minutes. She had her head buried in the crook of his neck while she cried. He just kept saying ‘I’m home Birdie’ over and over. I noticed Dani walk from behind the bar and clean the food that Molly had dropped. The two older guys whose food it was didn’t seem bothered. They both removed their hats. They could tell Ryan was a veteran, and that was their way of showing respect.

Ryan eventually put Molly down and they both walked over towards us. She had mascara running down her face, but she looked so happy. I loved happy Molly.

“Hey, man, I’m Ryan.” He stuck his hand out when he reached our table. I stood up and shook it. “I’m Logan. It’s great to meet you, man. I’ve heard a lot about you. Glad you made it home safe.” He nodded and then turned to Justin, repeating the same action.

He took a seat at our table and Molly brought him a beer before excusing herself to go ask the cook to remake the food she had dropped.

Ryan, Justin, and I spent the next few hours talking. Wynee and Molly came by when they could. Ryan talked about his deployments overseas, and how he had finally come home for good due to a diagnosis of PTSD. He told Molly that he had gone to Dallas first to see his parents, but he didn’t feel like Dallas was home, so he came back to Sterlington. He was in the process of finding a job and a house, and had started counseling at the recommendation of his superiors.

Molly was perched on my lap with my arm wrapped around her waist. “You should come stay with Logan and me.” I briefly remember Ryan agreeing to stay at Molly’s house. I was lost in my own thoughts for a few moments realizing that Molly had just referred to her home as ours.

Wynee started talking to Ryan about what kind of work he was looking for. He said he really wanted to do some personal training. He was ripped, so I thought that would be a great career for him.

I squeezed Molly slightly till she looked at me. She smiled at me, “What?”

“I love you, Molly Scott. To the moon and back. Forever and always.” The grin that spread across her face was the biggest one I had ever seen her wear. She wrapped both hands around my face and kissed me till we were both breathless. “I love you, Logan Wade. So much more.”

Logan spent the night that Saturday and I woke up Sunday nervous as hell. Today was our date. Our first real date and I was internally freaking out. He hung out at the house for a little while but went home to get ready and give me some time to get ready myself. Wynee had offered to keep Lyric for the night, and even though I hated spending time away from her unless I was working, it was an important night for Logan and me, so I agreed. Ryan also said he was going to stay at Wynee and Justin’s new place so Logan and I could be alone. That made me even more nervous. I knew what alone time with Logan would mean, and even though I was more than ready, it was still frightening.

Wynee came over to help me get ready. I had planned to wear jeans and a cute shirt, but Wynee insisted I wear a dress. Even though dresses weren’t my style, I had bought one a few weeks ago on sale and hadn’t a chance to wear it yet. It was tighter than most things I owned and had a black and white stripe pattern. I felt self-conscious, but from the looks Ryan and Wynee gave me, I knew I shouldn’t have been. I did my hair and makeup and then put on my favorite black cowboy boots. Logan told me on more than one occasion that he loved them, which was a good thing since they were my favorite shoes.

Wynee and Logan had loaded up Lyric’s pack and play and already had her bag packed and ready to go when I walked into the
living room a little before 7pm.

“Damn, Birdie. You clean up pretty good.” Ryan hugged me and gave me a once over. Wynee had tears in her eyes. “My little girl’s all grown up.” Smart ass. But that was why I loved her. She made me laugh which broke the tension in the room.

I picked up Lyric. “How do you think Mommy looks, huh?”

“Gorgeous.” Logan’s voice came from behind me and I turned around to see him holding a bouquet of carnations. I hated roses; he knew this, so I was very proud of his flower choice. He looked so damn handsome in his dark jeans and red flannel pearl-snap shirt. I noticed he had shined his boots.

God, I loved that man. He came over and took Lyric from me giving her a big kiss before shaking Ryan’s hand and giving Wynee a hug. “You ready, Cookie?” Was I ready? Ready for this date, hell yes! Ready for what would happen after the date, yes and no. I didn’t think now was the time for me to go into a debate with myself, so I nodded and kissed Lyric before hugging Ryan and Wynee bye. Before we left, I placed my flowers in a vase on my kitchen table and gave Scottie a good belly rub.

Our date was perfect. Logan took me to The Warehouse, the best place in town to get steaks. We both ordered steaks and got oysters as an appetizer. Our conversation was like all of our conversations were, entertaining and effortless. We laughed about anything and everything, and steered clear from any serious topics since so many serious things had happened to us lately.

After dinner, Logan said he had one more surprise planned before he took us home. We drove back towards Sterlington, but instead of taking the roads toward our house, he took an old dirt road. He drove for a few miles, one hand on the steering wheel, the other on my thigh.

“Have I told you how incredible you look tonight?” I blushed a little and nodded my head. He had found a way to work it into conversation at least every ten minutes throughout the whole night. “Seriously, Cookie, you are always beautiful to me, but I don’t know if I’ve ever seen you in a dress. And that dress, well it gives me more dirty thoughts than one person should have at one time.” I laughed and scooted closer to him. If he only knew that he did the same thing to me. His shirt was taut against his sculpted arms and I could see the outline of his thigh muscles through his jeans. I wanted nothing more than to rip off his clothes.

“We’re here.” I looked out the window and didn’t know where the hell we were. It was pitch black outside except for Logan’s headlights and the glow of the moon. “Where are we?”

“Well, this is the back half of Justin’s dad’s land. I remember you saying you wished you could see more stars at night from your house, so I brought you somewhere where you could see the stars.” He was so God damned adorable.

He hopped out of the truck and ran to the passenger side to help me out. He walked to the back of his truck and opened his toolbox. He pulled out a few blankets. He made a makeshift pallet in the bed of the truck before turning his headlights off but left his radio on. He held out his hand for me, expecting me to take it so he could help me into the back of the truck, but I had other plans.

“Stick Around” by Reckless Kelly came through his speakers. “Dance with me?” He gave me a sideways glance, but smiled and took my hand. I wrapped my arms around his neck while he wrapped his around my waist. We swayed slightly side to side while I sang him lyrics about sticking around no matter what.

This was the love I had read about and seen in movies my whole life. I had loved Colt, so damn much, but the love I felt for Logan made me complete. When the song was over, he softly lifted my face to his and kissed me. It was passionate, but not rough. But I knew where this kiss was leading and so did he.

His hands wound in my hair while mine rested against his hips. His mouth connected with mine like we were meant to kiss like this every day for the rest of our lives. He backed me up until my ass met the tailgate of the truck. He dropped his hands so they were placed under my ass and lifted me effortlessly so I was sitting on the truck and he was standing between my legs. He continued kissing my mouth and down the side of my neck. “God, I want you, Molly. So damn bad. I’ve wanted you since the first night I met you.” The combination of his words and his actions caused me to let out an involuntary moan and tighten my legs around him while simultaneously pulling him closer to me.

I needed to relieve the ache that was building inside me; well, I needed Logan to relieve it. I placed my mouth on his earlobe and gave it a slight bite. “You have me.”

He let out a grunt from deep down in his chest and placed his hands at the bottom of my dress. “I need to see you, Molly, all of you. I know you try to hide from me, but I have been dying to see every inch of you, and if I don’t soon, I may explode. Literally.” I giggled slightly and nodded. He grabbed the hem of my dress and in one swift movement had it off me. I scooted back so I could lie down flat on the pallet he had made and rested on my elbows.

I wanted to squirm under his glare, but I held my composure. I didn’t see an ounce of disgust in his eyes, just admiration and appreciation. I had bought a brand new black lace bra and matching boy shorts, and I could tell he loved it. “Dear God, woman, are you trying to end this before it even starts?”

I bit my lip and sat up grabbing the collar of his shirt. I undocked it from his jeans, and in one swift move, popped open all the pearl snap buttons.

We both worked Logan out of his clothes and boots until he was only wearing boxers. He had the most phenomenal body of any man I had ever seen. I ran my hands up his stomach feeling the definition of his abs before running them across his chest and over his shoulders. I racked my nails down his back and pulled him down so he was lying on top of me.

“My boots.” I pointed at my shoes, which were still on and made a move to remove them.

  “Leave them on.”

I didn’t argue, just crashed my mouth with his.

He continued his slow, torturous kisses against my lips, down my neck, and across my shoulders and collarbone. He slipped the straps of my bra down before running his hand behind my back to undo the clasp. Once my bra was removed, he began placing open mouth kisses along my breasts and cleavage, but never placed them where I wanted them most. “Logan.” My voice had a slight edge to it. He knew his teasing was driving me crazy.

“What, Cookie, tell me what you want?”

Usually I would have been too scared, too nervous to flat out tell a man how I wanted sex, but not with Logan. He brought out a side in me I didn’t even know was there. “I want your mouth on my nipple, and I want you to take my underwear off, now.” He laughed lightly against my skin before giving me what I had asked for. He placed his mouth over one nipple while using his fingers to roll the other. I moaned and said his name loudly as my body bucked in the most amazing way.

After giving both of my breasts ample amounts of attention, he began kissing down my stomach. I started to feel insecure knowing he was going to be up close and personal with my stretch marks at any second. Once he reached them, he paused, running his hands across them before kissing each and every one. “You’re so damn beautiful, Cookie. Every inch of you is perfection.” I had tears forming in my eyes from his words, but I didn’t get a chance to cry happy tears. He placed his hands on the side of my underwear and ripped them off. I didn’t care how expensive they were or that I had only gotten to wear them once. I was laid out in front of Logan, naked, with his hot breath only inches away from my throbbing ache.

He ran a finger from the top of my folds downward, placing me open for him. His mouth begin kissing, nipping, and licking every inch of me until I came harder than I ever had and screamed louder than I had ever done in my life.

Logan crawled back up my body removing his boxers as he went. I grabbed his face and kissed him with everything I had, loving that I could taste my arousal on him. He searched for his jeans until he found them, reaching in the pocket and pulling out a condom. I took it from him and tore it open before sliding it down his length.

He hovered over me with the hea
d of his dick nestled against me. “You ready?”

Neither of us were virgins. This shouldn’t have been a big deal, but it was. This was more than sex. It was more than making love. This was our way of solidifying the connection we had with each other in every way. “God, yes!” My voice came out breathy, and I thought about how stupid I must have sounded for just a second; that was before Logan slid into me with one powerful thrust.

We both moaned and exhaled deeply. He placed one hand under my ass and used the other to hold my hands above my head. My body began keeping time with his, my hips rising to meet his every thrust. I could feel the buildup coming from deep inside me. I thought Logan had just given me the best orgasm of my life, but I was wrong. This was going to be the best orgasm of my life. He dipped his head and took on of my nipples in his mouth soaking it before doing the same to the opposite one. Once both of my nipples were wet, he began blowing his hot breath against them causing my inner muscles to tighten and me to scream out his name. “Come for me, Molly. Come on my dick, please.” That was all it took. My world shattered into a million different pieces as I screamed out his name over and over. “Molly. God, yes, Molly!” I could feel Logan’s dick throbbing inside me and I knew he had found his release too.

We stayed still with Logan still on top of me and inside me for what felt like hours as we both tried to regain our composure.

“That was amazing, Cookie. I love you. I love you so damn much.”

“I love you too, Logan.” I didn’t have anything else to say. Words couldn’t begin to describe the feelings I had inside for this man. After a few more minutes, Logan kissed me and helped clean me up before we both got dressed and got back in the truck. I was exhausted in the most amazing way. Logan drove home while I rested my head on his lap. I must have fallen asleep because I woke to Logan removing his boots on the side of the bed. I was already in bed and had one of Logan’s shirts on instead of my dress.
