The Dirty Dozen: MC Edition Page 72

by Kay Maree

A one-night stand. It wouldn’t be a repeated offence; however, everyone knows that history has a way of repeating itself and that fate has an even bigger way of bringing things back to us when we least expect them.

A one-night stand. Yes, I know I’ve repeated those words several times, but they’re going to become my mantra. I wasn’t about to become a repeated offender and fuck this whole plan up. A flash in the pan, that was the idea but now it had happened I’d realised that I had so many questions… so many thoughts running through my mind that I needed to see him again. I needed him to answer… I needed his help in finding my father. God, I was a stupid fool. The idea was to get him into the back alley and then question him.

Damn, I needed him. Yes, they were enemies, but Viper Stone wasn’t Duke Stone. He wasn’t like his father… he ran a different type of shop, he seemed kind enough and I was positive Gabriella wouldn’t send me into a snake den to be bitten to death. Who the fuck was I kidding? Maybe Viper had a little of his father in him, after all. They say the apple doesn’t full far from the tree, but I just prayed it kinda did.

I did know that the moment I saw him again I was gonna give him a verbal ass whopping. He’d left me bruised in fact I still had bruises on my hips, my thighs and I suspect my breasts and neck were marked. Bones was going to kill me; I wasn’t meant to be marked in anyway and it was very clear that I was stamped in an intimate way.

I couldn’t complain because the sex was incredible… mind blowing and somewhat erotically dirty, considering it was in the back alleyway of the dive bar where I was currently serving drinks to the drunk morons who called this place home.

Shame, the memories replaying in my mind were more than a week old, but they’d do for now. Besides, they weren’t what I seeked. I needed him… the man I originally came to see before the alley sex occurred and well, he vanished. It had been a week and still no sign of Viper. Of course, that didn’t surprise me since he was the leader of a MC. So many people to meet and places to ride to blah, blah, blah. Yeah, ok so maybe I’m slightly cynical about the whole MC crap but I’d watched enough Netflix and Sons on Anarchy to know what went on within the confines of a MC counsel. The lies, the intrigue and fights. The booze, the drugs and strippers. Sex, sex, sex! It was all a big draw card in this life, or in their MC life.

I took a deep breath, in and then out through my nose. I need some fresh air and maybe a quick stiff drink to calm this weird vibe I had radiating from me. I needed to keep telling myself that if it wasn’t for the help of certain individuals then I wouldn’t be here. I wouldn’t be getting this opportunity to seek the information I needed in order to find my father and I knew that they wouldn’t have suggested for me to come here if they didn’t believe someone could either help me in some way or another.

“You’re so fucking beautiful,” a man slurred as he forcefully slammed his drink down on the bar, some of the contents splashing out.

I silently groaned because this was the norm tonight. Apparently, everyone here was drunk as a skunk and I had to admit I was in such a funky mood that nothing could appease me; nothing could make me be perky or happy right now but I smiled and took out my cloth whipping the top of the bar because I wasn’t having the place go to hell because this dick couldn’t handle his drink.

“What can I get you?” I asked.

“I’ll have you straight up,” he garbled.

“If you’re not going to order anything from the selection that’s provided, then I’m going to take my break,” I announced as I shucked off my apron and placed it under the bar. As I stepped towards the exit, trying my best to slip past this guy he stopped me. Gripping me a little tighter than I would have thought he was capable of since he was so inebriated.

“Did you hear what I said, I want you straight up,” he inaudibly dribbled.

“I’m sorry, but you can’t have me, I am not a part of the bar menu,” I replied. I wouldn’t let this affect me because this was a frequent reoccurring event night in and night out. However, I needed to have a serious discussion with Bones. I knew MC club members were rats and the employees would just have to grin and bare it when it came to them, but the general public could go and fuck itself if they thought this behaviour was going to be tolerated.

The words sexual assault rang to mind, but since this jerk was drunk, I’d let this little incident slide. For now.

“I can have whatever the fuck I want darling… and I want you,” he said his hand slipping to grip my wrist and bring me close into his body.

I cringed… Yuck, he smelt of a combination of sweat, cigarettes and the booze I’d been serving him. Whisky. Fucking hell, I wasn’t in the mood for this shit. Not tonight.

“Let me go,” I spoke trying to keep my calm. It wasn’t like he had groped me intimately, but his hands were getting awfully close to places I didn’t want them to besides his grip wasn’t entirely soft.

“Come here you slut,” he spat his right hand now slamming down on my breast with force.

“Let me go,” I asked again a little more force to my tone. If this fucker did lay off, I was gonna drop him. I may have seemed like some petite princess, but I was anything but. I’d taken self-defence classes and I knew how to protect myself.

“Fuck you,” he slurred his comeback.

“Let me go or else,” I threatened. This was it. I was gonna kick his fucking head in. Gee, I sounded more and more like my father or from what I knew my father was like. He didn’t take shit from anyone.

“You touch her, and Viper will have your balls Ford, understood,” Bones interjected, his voice quiet yet very commanding.

Ford let go of his hold on me with a shove, forcing me to stumble back.

“You’ve become his whore,” Ford continued.

I fucking slept with the man once and I am already a whore… fucking bikers and their way of life. The way they treated women with malice in everything they did only made me hate this life even more, but I needed to live this life until I found my father.

I turned to Ford, I knew I should hold my tongue, I knew good and hard that showing this guy a little of my own TLC was a big fucking mistake I didn’t care. I wasn’t that type of woman to just let this shit slide, I was strong, independent and very much a woman who spoke her mind and this fucker was gonna discover my own brand of TLC.

“For your fucking information,” I yelled. “I’m no one’s whore… and if you ever touch me again Ford, you’ll be pulling your teeth from your stomach,” I advised right before my fist connected with his cheek.

He stumbled, slipping from his chair and hitting the floor with a thud. God, I was fucking stupid because what I just did was gonna get me killed but man if felt good. I gripped my hand and turned to leave the bar. It was gonna be sore, but I’d ice it and pray I hadn’t done any real damage to it. Damn stupid foolish girl!

“It would be wise to listen to her threats, she’s not who you think she is,” Bones uttered as I slipped out the back door.

I knew the instant I walked out the back door that I should be worried about the words Bones had just uttered because they had such underlining meanings. Nevertheless, I couldn’t care… it was a shit night and I couldn’t handle the fucking drunken wankers in the bar a minute longer. I needed fresh air.

  CHAPTER SEVEN

  Knowing

  Indiana

I stepped out the backdoor and let the fresh night breeze wash over me. I didn’t smoke but the thought of lighting a ciggy and letting the smoke envelop me was starting to become appealing.

I liked how unusually peaceful it was out here. I liked that the sky was so black, not even a star was visible not that you could see many stars in a city like this. It wasn’t like the Australian countryside I’d grown up in. Just as looked up to the heavens a clack of thunder rang out. It made me silently chuckle because I’d just been on about the peacefulness, I found but not everyone would agree with me especially with the sound of sirens going
off and of course the other noises of the night including the thunder. Yet, this was bliss compared to the shit going on inside the bar. I guess bliss can’t last forever especially when a set of headlights shine brightly into the back alley and ruin what little peace you had found.

I could have slipped back into the bar but instead I quickly ducked behind a few crates and pallets. Curiosity had gotten the better of me and I wanted to see who this idiot was that had the nerve to ruin my down time.

I watched as two men slipped out of the car and into the alley.

I knew the instant they opened their mouths that I wasn’t supposed to be here, but I couldn’t help it. The first thing to spill from their mouths was the name Johnny Deltago. They had mentioned my father’s name and the instant I heard it my ears pricked. I knew I just knew I had stay here and keep listening. I had to hope they’d reveal something. I probably looked like some sick perverted idiot crouched behind a wall of crates and pallets, but I didn’t care.

“There are people after him, his daughter is after him,” one man said as I felt the color drain from my face. Fuck, I think I’d been caught. But how did they even know that his daughter, that I was looking for him?

“His daughter, what does she look like?” the other man commented right before a clack of thunder rang out above. Shit, the storm was close and I was sure the heavens were going to burst open and we were all going to get wet.

“No one knows, we didn’t even know he had any children until Kent said that a woman had been asking at the local cop station for Johnny,” another stated as the raindrops began to fall.

Fuck I was caught… but who the hell was this Kent guy and how did he know that I was the daughter of Johnny Deltago when I’d only asked about him, I didn’t reveal who I was or why I wanted to track him down. I simply asked very little in order to get what I wanted. Apparently, that now meant I was his daughter and I was going to be fucked if I stuck around here anymore. I went to turn but heard them continue to talk.

“It won’t be long till we’ve figured out who the woman is, Kent’s going to look over the CTV footage at the station. See if they can capture her identity.”

Yeah, I am fucked. I wasn’t going to stick around, that wasn’t an option anymore because if this Kent guy came into the bar with my photo then I was going to be shot on the spot with no questions asked. I took a step back to slip away from this and lost my balance. As I slipped hands gripped my mouth and I let out a muffled scream as I was pulled into someone’s body. The hand around my mouth tighten a little hard officially silencing my cries. I kicked out with my legs and arms punching the air as best I could but to no avail. I think the saying fish out of water… yeah, I probably looked like a fucking lunatic.

“Shhh…,” the voice spoke from behind me. “Calm down it’s me… it’s Viper,” his voice whispered, his breath blowing into my ear. Oh wow, my body just melted into his, and my mind just blew into a million pieces. My heart was racing in my chest as the rest of my body trembled. Fucking idiot! I was pissed off; how dare he scare me let alone grope me in such a way. Who was I kidding? I would let him swaddle me any which way to Sunday if it meant being this close, but the truth was, I needed to leave right now.

“I’m going to remove my hand, but you need to be quiet, if you scream, they’ll hear you,” he added as he slipped his hand from my mouth. I swallowed hard as I turned to look at him. Here we were standing in the now pouring rain on a dead-end back alley in the middle of nowhere and it was all because I needed information. I seeked information, no I craved it.

“What is going on?” he asked.

“Nothing,” I uttered, shrugging this off like it was nothing.

“Don’t bullshit me Freckles, tell me what’s going on,” he said with warning to his words.

Who did he think he was? I wasn’t his to boss around and I certainly wasn’t going to reveal anything I didn’t want to reveal, especially when his father and mine weren’t ever friends. In fact, they were rivals with a long feud that apparently had never been resolved. I knew the sins of the father weren’t those of the son but still… it didn’t seem to matter in this life. Besides all I needed to do right now was keep quiet and then make a dash. I’d text Bones on a burner phone then ditch… maybe change my hair color and try to find another club I could infiltrate.

“Answer me Freckles otherwise I’ll have to use other methods to coax the words out of you,” he cautioned.

“I’m out here having a smoke,” I lied.

“Where’s your cigarette?” he asked raising an eyebrow in question.

Busted… fuck, lie through your teeth… just lie.

“Come on Freckles, I know you’re listening into the conversation but what I want to know is why and don’t lie,” Viper said.

“I’m not who you think I am,” I declared. Maybe telling him a version of the truth was better than completely lying about this. For some reason, lying just seemed like a bad idea. Only issue was, I didn’t know if I could or should trust him. Could I really allow this man into my life and hope that he’d understood my need to be here? Would he allow me to listen in on what was about to transpire in this dead-end street?

“I know,” he simply said as he stepped even closer to me. What did this guy… know? What did he know about me, when in all retrospect’s he didn’t even know me?

His hands gripped me a little tighter as he drew me closer to him. I was already close enough. God damn, why the fuck did this guy have to be so beautifully charming… gorgeous even as the rain poured down over the both of us. I was attracted to this guy in every way and yet I didn’t know if I could trust him but….

“I know all about you Indiana, Gabby Knowles called me,” he continued.

How the hell was that even possible… Gabby wouldn’t throw me into the snake pit would she? I know she wouldn’t do such a thing, so how the hell was this even happening?

“Don’t look so shocked. Gabby and I have been old friends, her father was a friend of my old man’s. Now the club’s mine I run a totally different ship to my father,” he stated. “Gabriella is worried for your safety and it appears I now know why she’s keeping such close tabs on you,” he smirked. What the fuck was so smirk worthy that this moment deserved such an expression.

“You’re Johnny Razors daughter, his only child,” Viper added.

Holy fuck… he knew. My legs were going to give in, I could feel my head start to spin. Fucking hell… “I hate you,” I said as I collapsed.

  CHAPTER EIGHT

  Daughter of the Razor

  Viper

Fucking women… Shit! I tried to keep my nose out of this business but hell I’d put my foot into now. I’d promised Gabby I’d help Indiana track down her old man and a promise is a promise. Or at least it had been in my books.

I silently groaned as I caught her as she collapsed but immediately wished I hadn’t. Yes, I’m a cruel bastard but the truth was the thought of watching someone faceplant the pavement had me internally giggling. Alright I lied, the truth was the reason I shouldn’t have caught her was because she fucking smelt so good and right now while I carried her, the impure thoughts that were racing around my head were going to get me into trouble. I carried her towards Maurizio and Louis who had been the distraction, the decoys. I needed them to drop Johnny’s name, to see if she would take the bait and she had. Gabriella had called me a couple of day back to inform me of what was happening. It appeared that she was worried for the young and I do mean young Indiana, who was sent here after her father had vanished from thin air.

What the fuck was Bones thinking when he hired this girl, did he want the authorities in here looking for her. I rolled my eyes as I stepped around the crates carrying her petite frame like I was some fucking hero.

“So, this girl is the daughter of the scandalous Johnny Razor?” Maurizio asked. “She’s a looker, no wonder Bones hired her to work behind the bar… she’d jailbait, eye candy,” he added.r />
“Get Dario to bring my vehicle around,” I ordered ignoring the fact that Maurizio had his fucked-up sex crazed look on his face. “And tell Bones that Indiana won’t be coming back tonight, get Peppa to takeover. Also grab her belongings and bring them out back,” I asked.

“Louis you’re dismissed,” I said as I looked down at the woman cradled in my arms.

If I was going to get this girl to talk, to open-up and tell me everything, I knew I had to get her away from everyone. She was going to kill me for all of this. The fake set up etc, but the truth was I knew I could help her find her old man and it’s what I intended to do. I’d take her back to my place for tonight and tomorrow morning we’d be boarding a flight bound or Belgium.

After lengthy discussions with Gabriella and Dean I knew I couldn’t refuse to help this woman out and they knew it too. Gabby had played me and played me well, I was a fucking sucker for a woman in distress and it appeared Gabriella Bennette formally known as Knowles knew it.

Indiana on the other hand, she was a whole different story. She didn’t know how we worked, and she certainly couldn’t charter our world without my help and besides that if people from the underworld… from the gangland realm started to hear that Johnny Razor had a daughter, then her life would be in danger. It meant bad news for me since she was working in my bar. I didn’t want the riff raff to come knocking on my fucking doorstep looking for her.

The car pulled up outback and Dario got out to open my door so I could slip inside with Indiana in my arms. We were both soaked from head to toe and Indiana had snuggled into me, indicating she was cold. At this very moment I could kill someone for a hot shower, and it would be the first port of call when I finally got home.
