The Satan's Savages Series Box Set Page 18

Fuck it feels good. I close my eyes and Willow flashes into my mind. Slapping Lunar’s hand away from my cock, she laughs and nods.

“Yeah, that’s what I thought. You did the same thing last night. Good for you for sticking with this no sex with others pact. I can’t wait to see how long that lasts.” She stands from my bed and turns leaning down and kissing my cheek, then she walks out of my room without her clothes on.

  Fuck, she’s such a slut!

  And thank fuck, I’m not.

  CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

It would be so easy to act on my urges right now and rub one out to ease the throb in my cock, but Lunar just had her hands on it and it wouldn’t feel right wanking off after getting horny with her touching me. It’d feel like a betrayal to Willow and I don’t want to do that. I need to stick to my word, even if it means sex with myself. So to try and stop this ache in my cock, I’m going to go and have a cold shower and try not to think about anything sexual, especially not Willow naked and rubbing up against me.

“Urgh!” I groan and get out of bed ignoring my cock getting even harder at the imagery in my head and hoof it to the bathroom to have a shower.

  ***

Feeling slightly more human, but still hung over after my cold as fuck and long as fuck shower, my thoughts are on Willow again and my need to see how she’s doing. I know she’ll be at work, and I’ll probably only get one message from her, but that will be enough to tide me over. Pulling out my phone I type in my message.

Me: Morning babe, how’s your day goin’?

Figuring I’ll keep it simple, I wait for about five minutes. My foot taps aimlessly against the carpeted floor as I sit on the edge of my bed… just waiting. My phone finally indicates a message telling me she's written back.

Willow: It’s going well, thanks. Jackson’s saying he misses his dad. I wonder if Nikita has finally left him? I hope so, he seemed like a douche. How’s your day going?

Swallowing hard and wincing, images of what happened to his father flash through my brain knowing full well where Jackson’s dad has gone. My chest tightens at what Willow would think if she ever found out what actually happened two days ago. I know she wouldn’t agree with it, let alone be happy about it. I take in a deep breath and reply.

Me: Well, hopefully, Nikita has seen the light. I’m sure they’ll be better off without him. My day is going great. Just got up really, and thought of you, so I messaged. Was dreamin’ of you last night. ;)

I decide to try and change the topic. If I sway it to us, maybe she’ll drop the talk about Nikita and Jackson.

Willow: I hope it was a good dream? :) I might be dreaming about you, too. But shh it’s a secret. Anyway, I have to go, kids to look after and all, but hopefully I’ll see you again soon?

  I smile and reply quickly.

Me: I would love that, I’ll arrange something soon babe. Talk soon.

Hitting send, I take in a deep breath. Knowing now that people are noticing the absence of Tyrell is unnerving. I just hope that the cleanup crew and Techie have covered our tracks well enough. Time to be social especially with the other chapter being in house, so I get dressed and make my way down the darkened hallway and out into the clubroom. The music is blaring as usual, and the place is packed with the two chapters all here mingling together as one.

Spotting Techie talking to FIM at the bar, I walk over and take a seat. Techie’s black rimmed glasses fall slightly on his nose as he turns to face me while FIM glances at me from behind the bar.

“Hey VP, you’re looking a little green today,” FIM says and I wince at my pounding head.

I chuckle and nod. “Yeah, big night. Still kind of pissed I think.”

Techie chuckles and slaps my back shaking his head, then his eyes move up to the ceiling. I groan and rest my head in my hand waiting for the so-called facts to flow.

“You know one scientific approach describes a post-hangover drink as giving the liver a distraction with additional ethanol to break down, instead of the toxic fusel alcohol that’s broken down after ethanol, hence delaying the release of fusel-alcohol toxins that ultimately contribute to a hangover. The flaw with that, though, is that scientific research into fusel oil in alcohol shows it, in fact, acts to alleviate hangovers.” He looks at me with a great big smile on his face as me and FIM stare at him blankly with the occasional blink.

“Aaand, sooo, what on earth does that mean?” I ask.

He rolls his eyes and scoffs. “Oh for Christ’s sake, weren’t you listening? It means, have another drink fuckface!”

I chuckle and look at FIM and he smiles and nods grabbing a stein and starts to pour me a beer. “So FIM, how you settlin’ in?” I ask as he pushes the stein toward me.

“Yeah, good thanks mate. Was a little thrown when Aldinga came in, but they’re good blokes. I’m amazed at how… welcoming everyone is.”

Techie and I chuckle. “What, you expect ‘cause we’re bikers we’re all gonna be arseholes? These guys here are your brothers now, FIM. They’ll treat you well. Just don’t fuck with ‘em and everythin’ will run smoothly.”

He nods. “I think Mad Dog and Chops are still a bit iffy on us, though.”

I shrug as I sip my beer. “Don’t worry about them, they’re cautious of all newbies. They don’t like change. They’ve been with the club since they were youngin’s. This life is all they know. Just don’t get on their bad side and you’ll be right.”

  Ding.

A message alert pops up on Techie’s tablet. He swipes the screen and reads the alert.

“Huh, strange. Gatekeeper says there’s someone at the gate looking for the VP,” Techie announces.

I furrow my brows and lean over looking at the alert. “Bring up the security angle for the gate.”

Techie pulls up the feed and zooms down to show a woman at the fence. Her skin a dark chocolate brown and, at first, it doesn’t register.

“Got another bird we don’t know about after you now, Steel, my man?” Techie chuckles as he zooms in on her face.

Then it clicks. I tense up and take a deep breath as I look at the face of Nikita Jones. Jackson’s mother and Tyrell’s widow.

“Fuck! Tell Gatekeeper to let her in.” I stand up and roll my head as I prepare for whatever shitstorm is about to come my way. Techie stands up and follows me. My feet feel like lead weights as I trudge through the mass of bikers to the clubhouse door to greet Nikita. Upon opening it, I notice she’s already strolling toward the door. She spots me and looks up, her arms wrapped around her tiny little frame and her eyes dark and sad. I’m fairly certain she’s shaking, she looks terrified.

“Steel?” she asks and I nod as she walks up to me.

  “Yeah! Hey, Nikita.”

She smiles brightly when she’s sure it is me and rushes into my arms. I jolt back slightly with the force of her strength as she wraps herself in me. Techie starts to chuckle while I wrap my arms around her for comfort. I swallow hard, as she pulls back and looks at me with glistening eyes. It’s only now I notice how stunning she actually is. Her chocolate skin is flawless, besides the healing bruises. She’s a knockout. I grab her hand and pull her along with me inside the clubhouse, I don’t want to be standing in the doorway blocking the entrance. Her heels click rapidly with her fast movements as I bring her into the middle of the clubroom, all the guys look at her and start to cat call and wolf whistle.

“Oi… shut it!” I call out and they all stop as she looks around the room. Her entire body is shaking again, her eyes open wide and her brows furrowed. The poor woman is terrified. A scraping chair startles me as I turn to see Lookout standing abruptly knocking his chair over. He looks at Nikita like he’s gobsmacked and races to us like a dog in heat. His tongue hanging out of his mouth and his chest heaving like a mad man. We all chuckle at his enthusiasm.

“Hi,” he says grabbing her hand and placing it on his chest over his heart.

She opens her eyes fully as do I and she looks around the room wonderin
g what to do.

  “Um… hi?” she answers.

“You’re stunning. Your shoulders are so tiny, not like the broad strength of a man’s at all.”

I furrow my brows at Lookout.

“Um… thanks?” Nikita says sounding as confused as I am. I’ve seen Lookout with women before, he goes to the club girls all the time, but the way he talks is confusing and right now he’s confusing me even more if that’s possible.

“And your hair, so long and wavy, not like the short scrumptiousness of the men’s in here.”

“Scrumptiousness?” Nikita asks holding back her smile.

“Fuck, I don’t know why I said that… shit man, I’m a fool. But really honey your arse is so motherfuckin’ tight that I wanna pound that bitch—”

“Okay, that’s enough!” I say grabbing Nikita’s hand from Lookout’s chest and letting it fall to her side. She looks at Lookout and giggles slightly smiling at him widely.

  “You’re funny,” she tells Lookout.

He raises his eyebrow and scoffs. “I am?”

She nods and smiles and I shake my head and grab Nikita’s hand to gain her attention back.

“You came here to talk?” I ask and she looks at me and nods.

  “My husband’s gone missing.”

Lookout groans and throws his hands in the air. “Motherfucker has a motherfuckin’ husband. Fuck!”

I glare at Lookout and so does Nikita, but ignore him as Techie scrutinizes the situation. I notice Jigsaw walking over staring at me with his hard glare. I know that look. It’s his ‘do I need to take care of her’ look. I shake my head subtly and he stands back but listens in.

“Well, maybe it’s a good thing he’s gone missing. He was a bad man by the sounds of it.”

She smiles and nods. “He was, and I’m very grateful that he’s gone. I just want to say thank you to whoever was involved,” she says loudly so everyone can hear.

I chew on the inside of my cheek as Lookout’s eyebrows raise up and curve and it’s like something clicks inside him.

“Oh shit! You’re Jackson’s mother?” Lookout asks.

My eyes open wide as I glare at him. “Shut up!” I berate.

  “Yes,” Nikita answers quickly.

Lookout nods and looks away knowing he’s fucked up and basically just admitted that we’re involved.

Nikita looks around at all of us and inhales. “I know Tyrell was an arse and he deserved whatever happened to him… I just hope he isn’t coming back.”

I think that’s her way of asking if we got rid of him. I clear my throat and look around. Her eyes are glistening and I can see she’s really grateful to us for helping her out, so I decide to budge slightly. “Well, I’m sure wherever he is darlin’ he isn’t comin’ back. For you or Jackson… ever.”

She slumps and visibly relaxes her body as tears fall from her eyes. Tears of joy, I’m assuming. I grab her shoulder and she looks at me, her eyes sparkling with something I haven’t seen in her eyes at all. Hope and wonder. She looks excited, and I’m glad I could give that to her.

“Thank you, thank all of you. I don’t know what happened, and I don’t need to know. But knowing me and my baby will be safe from that man forever, makes me the happiest woman on earth.”

“You’re welcome,” Lookout says stepping up to her and taking her in his arms embracing her tightly.

As horizontal wrinkles appear on my forehead from the smirk I have on my face at his lack of composure, she giggles and embraces him back. I watch her shiver slightly, the way girls do when they’re overly excited.

She pulls back from him and he smiles at her brightly.

  “Nikita—”

“Please, call me Niki,” she informs me.

“Niki,” Lookout says rolling the name off his tongue making me inwardly laugh.

“Okay, Niki, I’d appreciate if you didn’t tell Willow about this.”

She smiles kindly and nods. “Don’t worry, Steel, I won’t be telling anyone about this.”

I nod and she smiles again as Lookout takes her hand and she grins widely.

“Let me show you around,” he says and then drags her off.

Techie steps up next to me and I take in a deep breath. “What do you think?” I ask.

He looks up to the ceiling and I roll my eyes. I wanted a simple answer! There’s never a simple answer around here. What the fuck do I have to do to get one?

“She seems grateful. The likelihood of her ratting is probably around 0.4% based on her pupil dilation and her lack of throat clearing, jaw manipulation and suprasternal notch touching. I’d say the woman is either an extremely good actor, or she’s telling the truth when she says she won’t tell anyone.”

“So you believe her then?” I ask just wanting to jerk his chain.

“Fuck! That’s what I just said. Do you even listen to me when I talk?” he asks huffing and stomping away.

Chuckling, I saunter over to the bar to see Doug covered in beer again. You’d think he would have the hang of it by now?

I turn around to see Lookout taking Niki back down the hall toward his room. I raise an eyebrow and smirk. It’s not for me to judge, but wow that seems fast, especially for a guy like Lookout. But Niki seems to be the type to fit in here. She has a tougher edge to her than Willow.

  Willow.

Damn, I haven’t seen her in days and I need a fix. Mind made, I’m going to go and visit her. Standing up, I walk over to Behemoth and grab his attention.

“I’m headin’ out. Keep an eye on everythin’ while I’m gone. Message me if anythin’ goes down.”

“Sure thing, Steel,” Behemoth answers slapping my shoulder. Making my way to my bedroom, I change into more suitable clothing and walk right out of the packed clubhouse to find some peace with my Flame.

  CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

The ride to the child care centre is smooth and easy. My excitement for seeing Willow is growing with every kilometer I inch closer to her. It’s close to the end of the working day and I want to surprise her. Pulling into the centre car park, I stop my bike and walk in through the gate and into the centre. The kids are screaming and making a general ruckus, and as I gaze around suddenly something attaches to my leg. I stare down and see Jackson cuddling into me tightly. Chuckling, I lean over scruffing his hair as he cuddles into my leg.

“How are you goin’, little dude?”

He chuckles as I tickle his side and he squirms against my leg.

“Good. Dad’s gone, and I miss him. But Mum’s happier now.”

Instantly guilt floods my veins and I take in a deep, steadying breath as the beat of my blood pumping can be heard vividly in my ears.

“Are you happy your dad is gone, too?”

Jackson shrugs and tilts his head frowning like he remembers something. “Dad used to hurt Mama, he won’t do that anymore.”

I nod bending down to his height and pull him to me squeezing him tight. “Do you know where Daddy went?”

Jackson shrugs and shakes his head. Good, that’s good.

“Steel?” Willow’s voice echoes through the centre. I glance up and immediately notice she’s wearing a red apron and has white powder all over her face.

Chuckling, I look at Jackson, who’s giggling along with me. Raising an eyebrow while smirking at her, I stand up and Jackson re-attaches himself to my leg. “Um… I think you’ve been hittin’ the freakin’ sugar a bit hard, Miss Willow,” I suggest and Jackson chuckles.

“Yeah, Miss Willow, you’re hitting the freakin’ sugar—” Jackson repeats and I laugh and high-five him as Willow huffs putting her hands on her hips with a frown as she cuts him off.

“What have I said about that language, Jackson?” I pout and look at Jackson, who frowns and dislodges from my leg.

  “Sorry, Miss Willow.”

Trying to hide my smirk, I walk up to her as Jackson looks at me then runs off in the other direction while yelling, “But you look freakin’ funny.”

  I gra
b her powder covered hands. “You been doin’ hardcore drugs at the child care centre, Miss Willow?” I ask and pick up her hand bringing it to my lips, taking a sugar covered finger into my mouth and sucking on it seductively. Her frown turns into a sultry smile as the sickly sweet taste of icing sugar invades my taste buds.

“You’re a bad influence on Jackson,” she says as I lick up the side of her finger.

“Mm-hmm,” I murmur putting her finger back into my mouth and sucking it again.

She laughs and pulls her hand away from me shaking her head and slapping my chest. “Stop it, there are children present!”

Chuckling, I look around at the kids all staring up at me. “What time do you finish?”

“In about ten minutes. Just getting the cookies ready, then I can leave. What’s your plan?”

“Was thinkin’ of headin’ back to yours. Have some dinner. Spend most of the night deep inside of you. That sort of thing?”

She opens her eyes wide and looks around the room. I chuckle and pull her to me kissing her head. “Don’t worry, no one heard, I wouldn’t do that to you. Tina’s helpin’ Jackson with his bike in the sand pit outside. The other girl is helpin’ with the cookies in the kitchen, and the kids don’t understand what we’re talkin’ about.”

She looks up at me and blinks a few times in shock. “You noticed all that just standing there?”

“It’s my job to know my surroundin’s ma’am.”

She looks up at me through her lashes and inhales. “Mmm… I suppose it would be.”

I kiss her hair once more inhaling the flowery scent that’s all her. She lets me go and I look down to see the icing sugar is now all over my black leather jacket. She smirks and wipes it off and then shakes her head.

“Okay, let me finish the cookies and then we can go back to mine. Just go and sit in the corner, and keep out of trouble. Okay?”

I nod and smirk. “Yes, ma’am.” I give her a two finger salute and walk over to a little pink stool and sit down on it. My knees come right up to my chest as I perch on the tiny thing. I must look like a complete tool, but for Willow I’d look like a fool any day of the week. She turns back looking at me, and I pick up a Barbie from the table and wave it from side to side at her as if I’m playing with it. She laughs loudly and turns back around finishing off her cookies.
