Real or Not Page 11

Instantly, his cock hardened, and he felt Brett’s harden where it was pressed against his thigh. Except Brett did one better—found the lube and wrapped his hands around both their cocks, jacking them together.

Kodie closed his eyes, his forehead pressed against Brett’s. “Yessss…”

“Is that what my boy needed?” He cupped his other hand around the back of Kodie’s head to hold him in place.

“Yes, Sir.” He rocked his hips in time with Brett’s strokes. When they were kids, sometimes there were times Kodie couldn’t get to sleep. Brett had done this with him during those times, a sure-fire way for both of them to pass out. Sometimes just like that, waking at some point sticky with each other’s cum, and Brett’s hand still around their soft cocks.

“I told you, I’m always going to take care of my boy.” Brett’s tongue lightly traced Kodie’s lips. “Always.”

It was exactly what Kodie needed, and tripped him over the edge. Brett’s hand sped up, furiously jacking them both and catching up, until they were both lying there, catching their breath, his hand still holding their cocks.

A few moments later, Brett’s soft voice broke the stillness, his tone sounding worried. “Are you really happy with me?”

  “Absolutely.”

“It’s just…you used to push me. Before. Like you’d deliberately goad me into taking control of you and punishing you. And now, you don’t. Not like you used to.”

He opened his eyes to find Brett staring back at him. “Because I don’t need to now,” he admitted. “I know you’re here and not going anywhere. I was terrified one day you’d tell me we were through, and I wanted to get as much as possible with you. You were the only one in my life I felt really cared about me. I guess I kind of needed to test you, too. To make sure how you felt. Now, I’m certain this is real. I know you’re not going anywhere.”

  “Have I passed the test?”

Kodie slanted his lips over Brett’s for a long, sweet kiss. “With flying colors, Sir.”

“Now we just need to plan the wedding and set a date. Avery is getting very irate with me that I haven’t given her a firm date so she can help us plan.”

Kodie managed a tired laugh. “Shit’s getting really real if she’s going after you now. Welcome to the family.”

Brett kissed him again. “What do you think about Brett Alan Kirk?”

Kodie’s eyes popped open again, and now he was wide awake. “What?”

“Me taking your name. Would you be okay with that?”

  “I…um, yeah. Seriously?”

  “Seriously.”

  “For real?”

“For absolute real.” Brett sighed. “My father disowned me. Why would I keep his name if he couldn’t be bothered to keep me?” He smiled. “I’ll make sure my name in the credits is listed that way. That’ll really piss him off, because you know the whole office will be talking about it the next day after the first episode airs.”

He smiled. “You’re an evil man, Mr. Kirk, and I love you even more for it.”

“Good,” Brett softly said. “Because you’re the only person I’ve ever really loved.”
