by ANDIE J. CHRISTOPHER

Laura’s oldest brother didn’t really like parties that he wasn’t working at. So, he worked even at family parties. Whatever worked for him.

Bone deep satisfaction hit him when Laura wrapped an arm around his waist and rested her head against his shoulder. He loved this woman more than he’d ever thought possible. For him, their marriage had been real even when it wasn’t. Because what they had had always been real.

After the last guests, Lola and Rogelio, left in the car he’d called for them, he found his wife cleaning up the kitchen. He kissed the back of her neck, and pulled her into the living room. He wanted to look at the light of the water reflecting against her skin.

Now that they were alone, he wanted to bend his wife over the back of their couch and claim her like she’d been signaling him to all day.

  “You’re a temptress.”

“Why do you say that?” She squealed when he bit the tendon between her shoulder and neck.

“A siren.” He moved her hair and tongued the sensitive skin behind her ear. “You know how I feel about you not wearing a bra.”

“I forget sometimes.” He savored the sound of laughter and lust on her voice. He would make sure she sounded like that at every opportunity for the rest of his life.

“Then, I’m just going to have to show you.” They both stopped talking as he kissed every inch of herself she’d left exposed.

When he finally pulled her dress up and found her without panties, soaking and ready for him, he laced his hands through her hair and pulled her to him for a kiss. She burned him alive with her passion more and more each day.

As he thrust inside her, and she met him with every thrust, frantic and panting for release, he saw all of her. And loved every bit.

  Meet the Author

Andie J. Christopher writes edgy, funny, sexy contemporary romance. She grew up in a family of voracious readers, and picked up her first Harlequin romance novel at age twelve when she’d finished reading everything else in her grandmother’s house. It was love at first read. It wasn’t too long before she started writing her own stories—her first heroine drank Campari and wore a lot of Esprit. Andie holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame in economics and art history (summa cum laude), and a JD from Stanford Law School. She lives in Washington, DC, with a very funny French Bulldog named Gus. Please visit her at andiejchristopher.com.
