Stefan's Scandal [Lords of Hawksfell Manor 8] (Siren Publishing Ménage Amour)

That was it in Stefan’s opinion. He stepped down and stood beside Madeline.

“Allow me to introduce myself, Mrs. Crowley. I am Stefan Hawk.”

“Lord Constantine.” She whirled on him. “Yes, I’m aware of your reputation as well. Do you think me unaware of your behavior over the past years? Of your mother’s?”

“My mother? What, pray, do you know of my mother?”

She smiled but the effect was frightening. “Your mother was the earl’s…concubine, for lack of a more suitable word. She ran with him for years, did she not? Left you alone for months, even years, at a time?”

“What is it of your concern?” Stefan asked. “My mother might have kept herself away from me but I can assure you she never spoke to me as you do your children.”

“My children are my business. My daughter, in particular, is under my care and my responsibility.”

  “Not any longer,” Stefan said.

Madeline gaped at him, confusion in her eyes. He saw his brother and the rest of Madeline’s family watching him just as closely. There was movement behind him and Hugh stood close enough to silently offer his support. What he couldn’t tell Hugh just moments earlier now came quite easily to him.

“Madeline is to be my wife.” He faced Madeline dead on. “If she’ll have me.”

There was a beat of silence, then voices erupted. Madeline threw herself at him, wrapping her arms around his neck as she sobbed her answer in the affirmative. He held her and glanced at Hugh, who gave an almost imperceptible nod. He would be a part of their marriage. There was no doubt of it.

“You cannot just take my daughter from me!” Mrs. Crowley screeched.

“She is of legal age, Aunt,” the countess said in a cool voice. “And I believe the rest of this cursed Hawk family would more than welcome her into the fold.”

“The fold? You mean into this Gomorra!”

Lady Hawksfell shrugged. “As you say. I say there is love in this house.” She brushed a hand over her midsection. “Love and family.”

Stefan didn’t know what that gesture meant but the words rang true. He had his bride and his man, though. That was all that mattered at present.

He untangled himself from Madeline’s arms and faced her mother. “I love your daughter. I will keep her safe.”

“Her new family will keep her as well,” Gabriel said.

Stefan’s throat grew tight as he fought the tears that threatened. His brother declared him family once again and, for the first time, Stefan believed it to be true.

  “Thank you, brother.”

Gabriel grinned and Stefan returned the expression.

  Chapter 11

Madeline stared as her mother’s pale cheeks grew red.

“You can’t mean to do this, Madeline! Marry a Hawk! You’ll be setting yourself up for a world of heartache.”

She didn’t believe her mother for a moment. Stefan wanted her forever. She didn’t doubt that in the least. As for Hugh? When she got her men alone, as soon as possible, she would make certain the details of this new arrangement. She should be embarrassed by the prospect, but after facing down her mother she felt like she could handle anything that came her way.

  “Good-bye, Mother.”

Her mother pursed her lips. “You are my only daughter, Madeline. I love you despite your determination to throw yourself into the bowels of Hell.”

“Thank you for that,” she answered.

Her mother glared at Michael. “You are lost to me, Michael. You have been ever since you let Millicent fall in with this demon.”

“Really, Mother.” Michael laughed but there was an edge to it. “Do return to Crowley Park. I shall make certain no harm comes to either Millie or Maddie.”

Her mother shot a venomous look in the earl’s direction. “I shall keep my eyes and ears open, Lord Hawksfell. If any harm befalls my children you won’t hear the end of it.”

  “No doubt,” the earl said.

She left in a flurry of skirts, feathers trailing behind her from her hat.

“Well, that was a pleasant way to start the morning,” the earl said.

Millicent took his arm and tilted her head. “Let us go back into the breakfast room, Gabriel. Michael.” She winked in Madeline’s direction. “I believe your brother and Maddie have some things to discuss.”

They disappeared from the hall and Madeline’s heart flipped as it struck her again. Stefan had asked her to marry him!

She nodded even as Stefan grabbed her hand and all but dragged her up the stairs.

“What of Hugh?” she asked, lifting the hem of her skirt to better keep up.

“He will be a part of this, too,” Stefan said. “Whether here or at Constantine Abbey. Together.”

She glanced over her shoulder to find Hugh right behind her. The smile on his face said it all. He would stay with both Stefan and Madeline forever.

Once they were inside Stefan’s room, they wasted no time stripping her. It really was a good thing Hugh was trained as a valet. His hands were efficient where hers would fumble in her urgency.

“You want to marry me, Stefan?” she breathed as he paused to run his hands over her breasts from behind.

“Yes.” He bent his head and gently bit her shoulder. “My bride.”

She sucked in a breath as the tension began to coil within her. “Bride.”

Hugh stroked her center with his long fingers. “You’ll have me as well, Madeline.” His kisses brushed the swell of her breast. “Is that all right?”

“Oh, more than all right, Hugh.” She let out a moan and settled against him. “I love you both!”

Stefan chuckled behind her. “Good.” He stepped away as Hugh stripped in front of her.

She struggled to stay on her own two feet, weak from the swift change in her situation as well as the loss of their physical support. Before she could sink down to the carpet, her men were back. They each held her, kissing and stroking until she was more than ready to have both of them loving her.

“Will you take me?” she asked, letting her head fall back on Stefan’s broad chest.

“Hell, yes.” He pressed his shaft in the cleft of her buttocks. “We’ll both take you.”

“Both.” She sighed and wriggled against him. “Wait. Both of you?”

Hugh dropped to kiss her belly. “Yes, Madeline. Stefan in your pretty little bottom and me in your hot, wet pussy.”

To emphasize his words he spread her with his thumbs and licked her, slow and steady. She undulated, giving herself over to them. When Stefan slipped a creamed finger into her secret hole, she gasped. As the two of them fondled and aroused her, she began to relax.

“Oh, that feels so naughty,” she breathed.

“Just a bit,” Stefan said, easing two fingers inside of her. “You’ll be ready for my cock, sweet. I promise you.”

She nodded and swallowed thickly. Hugh stood again, pressing his cock against her belly.

“Will you take me, too?” he asked, running his hands all over the front of her.

She couldn’t imagine how it would work but she wanted it. She wanted them. “Yes, Hugh. Both of you.”

“Forever,” Stefan said from behind her. His voice was strained, and she knew he was holding onto his control. For her.

“Lose yourself, Stefan,” she said, reaching behind to grasp one of his narrow hips. “Take me now.”

He growled in her ear, then she felt the broad head of his cock probe her opening. Hugh supported her, taking her against his chest as Stefan inched ever so slowly inside of her. Her body felt hot, stretched. It was different but intriguing.

“I feel so full,” she bit out.

“Wait until Hugh puts his cock inside you, sweet,” Stefan said.

He began to move, very gently. A burst of wet heat rushed to her pussy and she moaned. It seemed impossible but she could feel what Stefan did in every part of her. Her breasts ached where they rubbed against Hugh’s chest. He shifted so his shaft pressed in
to the cleft of her thighs and she welcomed the burst of pleasure that struck her.

“Oh, I need you inside me.” She moaned. “I’m on fire!”

Stefan murmured words of encouragement in her ear as Hugh began to finger her. Two fingers weren’t enough to ease her, though. Her pussy throbbed and pulled as Stefan continued to love her.

  “Please, Hugh…”

He showed as much control as Stefan as he lifted her to her toes. “Take me, Madeline,” he said, his voice low.

She nodded vigorously, then felt him slide slowly up into her. Stefan reversed his motion as Hugh entered her, starting a friction she never imagined. They moved in rhythm, both in time to every rising beat of her heart.

She clutched at Hugh’s shoulders, using his strength to hold herself up as her climax built. She was soaking wet. Hot. Both Stefan’s and Hugh’s bodies were slick with sweat and sliding against them added another dimension to what they shared.

Giving in to it, she closed her eyes and let herself go limp. Hugh held her thighs up around his hips as they took her, as they gave to her, and she rode wave after wave of sensation until she cried out in release. Her first orgasm struck like a winter storm, fierce and wild and building until the sky opened. She was like that, open to both of them in every way possible.

“I feel you, sweet,” Stefan groaned in her ear. “I feel Hugh inside of you.”

She couldn’t form an answer. Hugh began to move more frantically, until he was bucking against her. Stefan matched him thrust for thrust. She crested, coming again and again between them.

Hugh joined her, followed swiftly by Stefan. The carpet was soft beneath her as the three of them sank to the floor.

“My God, that was better than I envisioned,” Stefan said.

Hugh murmured something in response but she didn’t catch it. Her mind was scattered to the four winds. They’d both been inside of her, loving her and driving her mad. She’d pleased them both, not that she had any notion of doing so at the time. She’d just given herself over to them and let them have their way.

“You want this forever,” she said on a breath. “You want me forever.”

“I speak for Hugh, who can’t find his words at the moment, when I say yes.”

She pushed herself up to settle against his chest. “There will be talk, Stefan. My mother’s visit made that fact painfully clear.”

His dark eyes sparkled. “There is always talk, Maddie. Isn’t that right, Hugh?”

“Truly,” Hugh said in a drowsy voice. “Imagine the talk if your mother knew of your involvement with me.”

She shrugged. “I don’t care of the scandal. I’m to be a Hawk now, after all.”

Stefan grinned and hugged her tight as Hugh settled against her. She wanted to laugh. She wanted to cry. She wanted to declare to all and sundry that these were her men, that this was her life.

She did none of those things. She cuddled closer to her two loves and let fatigue swamp her. Her thoughts were scattered but one thing was very clear. She was loved, truly loved, and it was something she’d never imagined in her wildest dreams.

She did deserve to have what Millicent had, and have it she did. Love and passion and devotion and a life of adventure spread in front of her.

  * * * *

Stefan settled down once they’d climbed up onto his big bed. Loving Madeline together had surpassed his fantasies and he could scarcely believe he would have both of them forever.

He thought of the horrid words Mrs. Crowley had spewed at them. Hawksfell Manor was as far from Hell as he could get. It was Heaven, truth be told. He’d found his brother here. He’d found his family here. He’d found his loves here.

True, scandal chased the Hawks, chased him as it had his parents. It probably always would. But scandal didn’t make a lick of difference in the grand scheme of things. He would have a wife in Madeline, and a lifetime lover in Hugh. He would have the family he never had growing up.

Surely a bit of scandal was a small price for a lifetime of happiness.
