I could watch them all day if I didn’t have to worry about my own fight. It truly was the most remarkable scene I had seen. There was no doubt in my mind that Fleur would come out on top, but still it was something to behold.
Focusing on my own dilemma, I realized I had two attempting to take me out. One that could phase and another that was engulfed in fire. Completely encased in flames and not in pain. I’ve seen a lot in my day, but I didn’t dare touch that Paragon with my bare hands. I wouldn’t burn, but the heat wouldn’t be pleasant. Not to say I was a wimp, but who in their right mind would intentionally hurt themselves. I knew that wasn’t something I wanted.
The fire person was going to be a target of my sword. Both lunged at me and struck out with their fists.
“He’s mine,” Phase Girl said. “You can’t have the reward.”
The fire person remained silent and attacked, this time going low with a kick directed at my knees. I had backed up to an outer wall. This warehouse was big, but with the bodies piling up on the floor, it was hard to maneuver around.
“You have nowhere to go, Ares,” Phase Girl taunted. As if she was the main villain in a video game. “I have you right where I want.”
This really was a terrible cut scene in the final lead-up in a game. She had just clicked all the clichés. I couldn’t help but laugh.
“What’s so funny,” she hissed. Her face contorted in anger. “You are mine. I’m going to be the victor.”
I couldn’t take it anymore. She was just so terrible and had to be removed. Avoiding another hook from the fire person, I darted to the left and took out Phase Girl’s legs. She comically fell to the ground and landed on her back. Without pausing, I moved around her while giving her a kick in the side. I tilted my sword to the side so it wouldn’t cut and smacked the fire person in the back of the head.
All this took me a fraction of a second. There was no way they would be able to react.
Both were down on the ground, with the fire person knocked out. His powers were gone, and I could see a grizzled old man. Phase Girl smirked at me. “That all you got?” she asked.
I just flicked her with my finger, and she was out cold. Time to move on to the real fight. No more messing around.
Fleur strode over to me. “We don’t have much time.”
She was right.
“Let’s get our family.

Down Goes the Champ
On the second story of the warehouse we found our quarry. Standing there watching a monitor were both Finn and Eris. When we entered the office, they both looked up at us.
“How did you find me?” Eris demanded.
I smiled. “I have better people that you do.”
“Clearly,” Finn said. “Lola must have figured it out and leaked all the reports.”
“She did,” Fleur said. “You’re done.”
Eris laughed. “This is just a minor setback. Out master is coming.”
“You ever going to tell me who your master is?”
“She hasn’t even told me,” Finn said.
“You’re working for someone that you don’t know,” Fleur said. She was flabbergasted by that, and so was I. Who in their right mind would sign up to work for someone that they didn’t know?
“I thought you talked to the person,” I said. “That promises had been made.”
Finn smirked. “The promises were from a middle person.”
“Who?” Fleur asked.
“A mutual friend,” Eris said. “One that is helping remove the Paragon problem.”
“Reign,” I said with a groan. “You wanted him to capture your lackeys in Times Square.”
Eris shrugged. “They are all a means to an end, and they had served their purpose. Soon they will meet their maker and serve again.”
I didn’t like the sound of that and worried about whoever was behind this. They clearly didn’t like the Paragons and wanted them all gone. I wasn’t going to sit idle and let that happen.
Rage filled me and I struck out at Eris with my sword. Fleur reacted with me, and was on her brother in a blink of an eye. Eris and I were Gods and moved so fast that I was sure no one could see us.
“Brother, you have gotten soft,” she teased. She darted to the left and created a hole in the wall much like I had on entering the warehouse. Though mine was much more impressive since it was brick and this was just drywall and some two by fours. Which weren’t really that size, and made the feat even less impressive.
The two of us landed in a room a few down from the previous, leaving a succession of holes in the walls. Once she stopped running, she looked me in the eyes. “You could help me remove the Paragons.”
“Eris, that isn’t going to happen. They are humans and deserve to be here.”
The Goddess of Strife spat. “Humans. Paragons. Gods. They all look down on me. None accept me. Why should I care about them and what they want?”
She had a harsh life at times, and I regretted that. Not all can live a life of luxury and happiness. I wish that was the case, but many suffer, and she was one of them. “Sister, just because you have been forgotten and hurt doesn’t mean you should hurt the humans. Go home. Talk to Dad or Mom.”
She laughed. “Dad, Mom. What will they do? Dad treats me like a leper, and you know full well what Mom thinks of humans and of me.”
I did. Our mother had asked me to kill Eris and send her to the Underworld. It was a terrible suggestion. I had the sword in my hand, and it was one of the few weapons that could take out a God. She wouldn’t truly die but would be stuck in Hades’ domain for a very long time. The man would make sure she was truly in hell.
“Don’t make me do this,” I pleaded, bracing myself to do what I least desired. “I don’t want to send you to him, but you can’t kill all the humans.”
“I can, and I will,” she said. “Gaia can have Earth for all I care, and Uranus too. They can both wake and touch again.”
I shook at the very thought. If that happened, the people of Earth would die. For that matter, those of us on Mount Olympus would too. The power and strength those two had was enormous, thinking of it coming to life for the first time in eons rattled me to my core. There was a reason the Titans had forced them apart.
“You don’t mean that,” I said. “You don’t want existence to end.”
“Why not?”
She truly had gone off the deep end. There was no way I was going to talk her out of this attack. I had to act. I lunged at her and she darted to the left, making another hole in the wall.
I followed her through the building and we made a mess of the place. We passed Fleur and Finn. She had made quick work of the man since he was powerless. It truly wasn’t a fair fight. Fleur didn’t even react as I darted through the room chasing after Eris.
Time was gone to me, and I didn’t care. All that mattered was the fight. I was going to catch her and defeat her. Make her pay for what she had done to me. She tricked me and then went on a killing rampage here on Earth, hurting innocent people in the process.
It was one thing to kill your enemy in battle and make them pay. I was all for that. Over the years, I’d enjoyed some of the most barbaric traditions in battle. They put the victor in a dominant position and struck fear into the people that they fought.
Eris and Finn weren’t doing that. They were bullies and needed to be punished. It hurt that I was sometimes thought of that way, but I was never that type of man. Now was the time to show it.
Two Gods were battling on Earth for the first time in ages. No one here realized just how significant it was. How important this moment was in the history of humankind, or of the Gods.
I caught Eris and slammed her into the ground, creating an enormous crater in the floor. We had arrived on the first floor of a building. I wasn’t even sure where we were anymore, if it was the warehouse or another building.
I stood over the crater looking down at Eris. She panted with the exertion of the fight. “You can’t win,”
she said. I raised my sword to strike her and send her to Hades.
Just before my blade struck her, she darted between my legs and sent me onto my back. We wrestled for my sword. She was one of the few people that could use my weapon other than me. It was made for warriors, and there was no denying she fit the bill, at least at one point in her life. Now she was barely more than Hermes, a trickster.
With all four hands on the blade it held firm between us. I lay on the ground with her on top of me, the blade above our heads.
“Give up, brother.” She used her all her might to wrestle the blade from me, yet I held firm. She was stronger than I remembered.
“I will not,” I said. With the power of the people in me, the power of war and violence flowing through my veins, I knew I would beat her. If there was ever a time that people were in need of the God of War, it was now. The world was in chaos and conflict. I was power incarnate.
I ripped the blade from her hands and stood in a flash. She backed away from me. Eris waved her hands up at me. “Mercy. Please.”
I wasn’t having any of that. Not now, not anymore. The time for that was over, but before I could strike her, the crater filled with people fighting each other. She had used her power of chaos and discord to start yet another riot.
I gritted my teeth and ignored them best I could. She laughed and tried to sprint away. “Not again.”
I gripped her ankle with one hand, the blade in the other. “Eris,” I said. “You seek pain. Destruction. I grant you wisdom and time.”
With a single thrust of the blade, I pierced her heart as she clawed the Earth to get away from me.
It was over. We had removed the first and second obstacles.

Victory
Back at the hideout, Lola was standing watching the news telecast. Her willowy body pressed against mine, and so did Fleur’s. It was our shining moment, and I was in heaven. I knew it wasn’t literal heaven since that was my real home. Or, it had been for a long time. Now this was my place. With these two.
Lola had gotten all the documents out about Eris, Finn, and Fenrir. Unfortunately, they didn’t mention Reign.
Philip Storm reported on the news. “Recent events have shown that Ares was indeed trying to save the people. I regret that I reported false information.”
I gritted my teeth. “False my ass. He was part of it.” I wanted to go pay him a visit and teach him a lesson, but that wasn’t the right thing to do. I had to be better, for I was a Paragon of the city. A hero of New York.
“He’ll get his,” Lola said and winked.
Fleur laughed.
“Where is McGarrett?” I asked. I couldn’t get used to calling him Steve.
“With his wife,” Lola said.
That was great to hear and made me smile. “He’s back on the force.”
“Yes,” Lola said. “But Reign is still out there. We proved that Fenrir and Finn were dirty, but we didn’t get him. He was able to argue that stricter rules were still needed.”
I groaned. “Still have a threat to take care of, and his boss.”
Fleur nodded. “That’s for another day. Right now, we need to celebrate.”
I liked the sound of that.
“You two start without me,” Lola said. “I have a few things I need to do.”
“You sure?” Fleur asked.
Lola nodded.
The White Angel led me out of the main area and to her room. It was a grand bedroom with a bed fit for a queen. Large four poster bed, I’m sure that it had a special name, but I didn’t know it. Fleur directed me to the bed and had me sit on the edge.
Both of us still wore our hero outfits, and she started taking mine off. Slow and sensual, letting her hands caress my body. They were soft and subtle. The way she moved was unlike anyone I had ever seen. Her touch was gentle and sexual. Every brush of her fingers sent a chill through me.
It was more intense than I had expected. The red-haired woman knew what she was doing, and soon I was unclothed and looking up at her.
“One of us is a bit overdressed,” I said.
She smirked. “Not for long.”
Now it was my turn to undress her. Doing my best to be equally as smooth and sensual, I took off her clothes. They fit her like a form-fitting second skin, making it harder than I would have thought to remove.
Eventually, I managed to remove all her clothes to reveal a body from the Gods. Her large breasts were perfection. Along with her toned abs, and legs. Her athletic body was beyond compare and made me instantly hard.
She giggled as my cock grew just looking at her. “Someone likes what they see.”
“Someone definitely likes it.”
I pulled her close, her skin like velvet against mine, and kissed her. A long, deep embrace as our bodies merged together. I had been waiting for this for a long time. I longed to hold her and kiss her.
My hands ran across her body, touching every part I could reach as I continued to take her in. Her firm ass, breasts, stomach. That toned back and shoulders. Her skin was smooth as silk under my fingers. All of her was amazing.
She pushed me on to the bed. I slid to the center, and she crawled over to me. She took my cock in her mouth. All of it my erect dick, right away. She didn’t even flinch. I couldn’t believe how effortlessly she was able to do that.
I moaned as her tongue tickled the shaft. Her fingers played with my balls. Fleur was a magician with her mouth.
She continued to play with my johnson until I nearly came in her mouth, but I managed to stop myself.
“My turn,” I said.
I flipped her over and began to eat her mostly clean-shaven pussy. Just a little red-haired landing strip. Finding her hooded clit wasn’t hard, and I sucked and licked. It didn’t take long before she climaxed for the first time that night.
“Ares!”
I didn’t stop. Making her come was going to be one of my favorite things to do. To her and Lola.
Her pussy tasted amazing, and I didn’t want to stop.
“Make love to me,” Fleur said between moans.
How could I pass that up? Any time a woman asked a man to make love, he had to oblige. I was no different, even if I was a God.
I slowly moved up her body, kissing her. Taking her nipples in my mouth and sucking on the glory that they were. Then I moved up, to the point that my dick was teasing her dripping wet pussy.
Looking deep into her eyes, I entered her for the first time. She moaned as I slid into her, and her pussy clenched on my dick. She was tight, and each time she gripped me, it got even tighter. Each thrust was intense and passionate. I gazed deep into her eyes as I made love to her.
I’m not sure how long we made love, but she climaxed several times, and I came inside her. I rolled off her, and Lola entered the room.
Fleur smiled. “Just in time for round two.”
I liked the sound of that.

A New Face
I woke up tired but content the next morning, after one of the most intense lovemaking sessions I had ever had. It wasn’t my first threesome. Not by any stretch of the imagination. What people didn’t realize these days was that back in my time it was much more common.
Lola and I had made it to the main area when the alarms went off. Suddenly I was on high alert and ready to strike. Even though we had removed Eris and Finn, Walker consolidated was still out there working with Reign, who remained with the police department.
No matter how much McGarrett tried to remove the man, he was going to stay. Until we could prove that he was tied to Finn and Eris, and that the company was attempting to not just remove Paragons but kill them.
The video feed from the outside of the building showed a woman. She was attractive, but not the way that Lola or Fleur was. She didn’t even look entirely human.
“Is she,” I said, but Lola interrupted me.
“Squirrel kin,” Lola said. “She is.”
I gave her a confused look, and Lo
la giggled. “You haven’t seen what some of the Paragons look like.”
“Sure, I have.” I saw a person that was mucus, and one that was rocks. I guess one that was part human and part squirrel wasn’t out of the realm of possibility.
“Well, there are kin. They look like animals.”
“Is it just some, or all?” I asked.
“Don’t know,” Lola said. “So far, I don’t think there are any limits to it. But the men are more animalistic in appearance, while the women are more human.”
I nodded. “You know this one?”
Lola nodded. “I do.”
She let the woman in, and the squirrel kin joined us. She had short, spiky brown hair and the ears of a squirrel. Her nose was squirrel-like to, and she was damn adorable. And she had the tail on her too. Plus, her hands were a mix of a squirrel and human. Somehow it was just plain hot to look at.
“Lola,” she said. “You must be Ares.”
“I am, and you are?”
“Felicity,” she said.
“What brings you here?” I asked. I was hoping it was me, and that she wanted to see what everyone was saying about me in bed. Not that I would, since I had Lola and Fleur, but if they did it with her, I could too.
“Reign,” Felicity said. “He’s bringing in General Belladonna.”
Lola groaned. “Not what we need.”
I looked at the pair, confused, and Felicity answered.
“The General is a genius only rivaled by Bionic man in Detroit, and she hates Paragons. She made the mecha suits. Those two working together is going to make New York hell for Paragons.”
I echoed Lola’s groan. “Not what we need.”
“Not even remotely.”
Epilogue
Disappointment
Hera looked down to Earth and watched her son Ares. She couldn’t believe how the battle between Ares and Eris had turned out. She had thought that the God of War had gotten soft and would be defeated. Not that it mattered at this point.
