The Contract Page 1

by D. C. Hall

Nathan knew he should have been more upset about the contract he had just signed. However, that wasn't what he was fuming about, as he walked towards the limo. Pulling the door open, he slid inside, placing his briefcase on his lap. Looking over, he saw Williams, the man who hired him.

“How are you?” Williams asked, straightening his tie. He looked more uncertain than Nathan expected.

“I'll be doing a lot better once you fire your lawyer.” Nathan kept a cold gaze on the rich man. Williams just furrowed his brow with a frown.

“What's wrong with Dave?” he questioned. Nathan flicked the locks on his case before opening it.

“I'm glad you asked. We have plenty to go over before we actually get to the quote unquote fun part of my job.” He pulled a paper out from the case. Williams took it while glancing inside to see many more papers and a bottle of something that he figured would be used soon. “That is what Dave decided to use for a non-disclosure agreement.”

“…This just says don't tell anyone. Where's the rest?” This had to be a joke.

  “That's all he had.”

“But this is useless.” Williams laid the paper down between them. Nathan gave him a nod before digging through more papers. He handed another one over.

“Which is why I took the liberty of writing my own for your security on the matter. Now, the actual contract is another thing all together. First thing is that Dave had me down for a million a year. I assume you meant a hundred thousand.” Nathan was already pulling out a secondary contract that he had written.

“No, that was right. I have you down for a lot of work. It seemed fair to me.” Nathan stared at him long and hard before ripping the papers in his hands.

“We won't be needing that then. Now, tell me what you intended for the sexual part of the contract. What was it meant to say?”

“It should say that I can choose when and how we, um, do things up to three times a week. But I really needed to talk to you about that.” Williams stated. Nathan ignored the last statement.

“That’s not what it says. Here it says that I have that authority, which I apologize in advance, I will be taking advantage of that. Speaking of which.” Nathan pulled out a color coded page to hand over to him. “This is your 'get fucked’ schedule. I have it mapped out for every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday night. I also only top. So, as long as you like it up the ass, we should be fine.”

“I hate to do this to you, but I think it might be best to end the contract.” Williams was feeling more uneasy by the second. Nathan seemed to be a very fast talking man that would take advantage where he could.

“You can't do that.” Nathan pushed his glasses back up his nose. “See, darling Dave got that backwards too. Only I can call off the contract. So, you’re stuck with me for the next five years unless you wish to buy me out.”

“How much do you want?” Williams squinted at him. Nathan just smiled back pulling out yet another stack of papers.

“It's a three part contract. The first part is that you give a five dollar increase to your employees hourly pay. Second, my five million dollars that you were going to pay me anyway.”

  “And the third part?”

“I want you to put twenty five billion towards the homeless problem.”

  “WHAT!?”

“Twenty five billion should solve homelessness in the US. And, it’s less than ten percent of your wealth.”

“You think that you’re worth twenty five billion dollars?” Williams felt his heart racing.

“No, but I thought you might think not being fucked up the ass three times a week for the next five years would be.” Nathan was pulling his tie off from around his neck.

  “You’re insane.”

“Maybe.” He twisted the tie in a way that made two loops. “Now, give me your wrists.”

  “No.”

“I have a legally binding contract that says you will.”

“I’ll get it over turned in court.” He was panicking now. The idea of giving up bodily control made him feel sick. He ignored the idea that this is what he was planning for Nathan. At least he would have gotten to choose that.

“You could, but then the public will know that you basically tried to hire a sex slave. Now, what would the public think about that?” He watched Williams pale. “Now, it does happen to be Monday. So, if you don’t mind.” He held up the tie. Williams sighed before caving. One wrist went in. Nathan stretched over and looped the tie through the small bar above the door. Then, the other wrist was snared.

Williams sat there, hands bound over his head, while looking very pale. Nathan had started to unbuckle the rich man's belt. He tugged at the leather before it was finally able to slip off.

“I do have a few questions before we continue.” Nathan stated. “First, why did you choose me for this job? Why would you mix an accounting job and sex?”

“I had heard good things about you from several different businesses. I needed someone good to handle my money.”

“And the sex bit?” Nathan asked getting a sigh from the other man.

“It's just that…Well, nobody knows I'm gay. I thought that it would be a lot easier to explain why I had a man living in my house if he was my accountant. So, I had Dave put a contract together that would give you the idea that it would be more than just your normal work.”

“Did you even know I was gay?”

“No, but I was hoping like hell.” Williams tugged on the tie around his wrists lightly as he watched Nathan pull medical gloves out of his briefcase. He slipped them on before pulling out a bottle of lube. “You came prepared.”

“You've got to be ready for anything. It's birthday cake scented. Here, smell.” Nathan held it under the man's nose. A sweet smell wafted out. “Before I forget, how long has Dave been your lawyer?” He hadn’t really been his lawyer, but he had been with the family that long.

  “About ten years.”

“Has he been doing your contracts that long?”

“Yes.” Nathan gave an exasperated sighed.

“Well, I know what I'll be sorting through tomorrow.” His fingers went down to the other man's pants button and undid it before pulling down the zipper. Williams heart pounded. He was about to be fingered in his own limo from a man he had known less than an hour ago. “I trust that you'll let me look through your contracts to make sure there aren't any more slip ups?”

“O-of course.” He yelped as Nathan grabbed behind his knees and pulled him quickly towards him. Now, he was basically laying on the seat with his arms stretched above him. He felt helpless. Nathan had stopped when he was reaching for Williams's underwear.

“As much as I want to just go ahead with this, I have to ask if you actually want this right now?”

“Wait, you’re giving me an option?”

“I feel like I should. At least this time, since we just met.”

“…If we're being honest, I’d much rather do this in my own bed.”

“Hmm, I suppose we could reschedule this for tomorrow.” With a quick movement, he undid the tie. Williams sighed in relief as he sat up. He buttoned his pants and pulled the zipper back up, ignoring the feeling in the pit of his stomach. Having someone so willing to manhandle him had set up a bit of arousal in him. “To be honest, I didn't know you were gay either.”

Williams furrowed his before at the comment. “Why did you think I had this set up?” What possible reason did he think a straight man would have in five year sexual contract with another man?

“I thought that maybe you were experimenting. With how you tried to have it set up, if you didn't like it, you could just fire me without a second thought. I wouldn't have even been able to tell anyone.”

“Oh… I don't know that I would actually be able to do that to some
one.” Williams noticed the quick change in Nathan's face, but he couldn't place what it was before it went back to normal. Nathan had a very calculated and cold gaze. Seemed fitting for an accountant.

Williams realized that they had been so close to being intimate, yet he hasn't bothered to really look at the man. Nathan was a very tall man. His frame seemed slender, mostly hidden behind the large overcoat and button up shirt underneath. His jawline was sharp and seemed to constantly be clenched. His short blonde hair was slicked back with gel except for a few strand that defiantly stuck up at the front.

Williams suspected that if his hair was left alone, it might actually be wavy. He had cold blue eyes behind the large round glasses he wore. The last thing about his face that he noticed was the lips. They were a bit thin but still looked soft. If he imagined how they felt on his, he blamed it on what had happened a few moments ago. Nathan pulled the gloves off, drawing the attention of the other man. His fingers seemed like they would be nimble. Williams shifted in his seat slightly at what that conjured in his mind.

Nathan stuck the gloves away to be disposed of later. He was aware of the gaze that was on him. He couldn’t really blame Williams. They were in a sexual contract. It only made sense to examine the person you would be sleeping with. In all honesty, he was doing the same, just a bit more unnoticed.

Williams was considerably shorter than him. It was hard to tell from sitting a car, but he was banking on almost a foot difference. His physique was more of what you would expect from a rich man. He was a bit overweight and just seemed to be soft overall as a person. His clothes were obviously expensive and seemed to frame the contours of his body. Nathan was only being observant if his eyes followed over those curves.

The green eyes were what held his attention the most. They also unsettled him for a specific reason. They were light and seemed kind. This was completely different from what Nathan had been expecting from such a rich man. He had assumed malice and calculating. He hadn’t had a rich client yet that hadn’t been cold. He expected nothing else from this man. The eyes had to be wrong. They had to be lying to him.

Moving on, he continued his observation. Williams’s face seemed soft as well. It gave him the look of a kind disposition. His lips were fuller than Nathan’s. There was a flash in the accountant’s mind. He’d be holding Williams’s wrists above his head, watching his face contort in pleasure. Eyes closed, brows furrowed. Williams would be biting his lower lip while Nathan ran fingers through those nice brown curls.

Nathan jerked himself back to reality as the limo pulled up to the mansion. Ideas like that would have to wait. They had five years to explore the sexuality of their contract. Right now, he needed to focused on business. Although, he couldn't help but be distracted by the sheer size of the building that they were in front of.

Nathan stood up from the limo, pulling his briefcase after him. Williams exited the other side, glancing at his accountant. He thought Nathan looked rigid like a statue. He held his posture very well, arms at his sides like he was in a line up. His eyes were glued to the mansion, but his face was blank as if he was unimpressed. Williams took a breath before moving over to the other man.

“You’re a lot taller than I thought.” Williams started. Nathan finally looked down at him. He came to Nathan's shoulder. “I'll show you around.” He led the way up the driveway, briefly passing the limo driver. It was an older man that Nathan assumed had been working for Williams for quite a while. He wondered if the old man had been paying attention to them.

The inside was what made Nathan finally show any emotion. Williams saw the bewilderment on his face. Even with how ornate the outside had been with the decorative windows and fountain, he wasn't prepared for what was before him. There were two floors above them with curved stairs leading up the both. There was a large space between the stairs that was filled with comfortable looking furniture. One looked a bit more used that was to the side of everything. A bookshelf stood next to it with one book left on the arm of the chair.

Beyond that area was what looked like a drink bar. Only it only seemed to have an espresso machine and cups set to the side. Williams cleared his throat, drawing his attention.

“The layout was my father's idea. He used to host parties here to help with business connections. I don't really have a need for it now, but I can't get myself to get rid of it.”

“I-I hate to make the assumption, but I'm guessing that your parents are… Well, gone?” Nathan questioned momentarily rubbing the back of his neck.

“Yeah. Well, dad is. He passed two years ago. When he died my mother decided to travel. She comes back to visit on holidays.”

“I probably shouldn't have asked. I apologize.” Nathan stated. It was oddly soft compared to what Williams had seen so far.

“No, it's okay. Ask anything you like.” There was a pause of awkward silence between the two. “I'll show you where you'll be working.” Williams led him past the drink bar, down the hallway. Nathan glanced at the different paintings as they walked. He would have to stop and admire them later.

“So, this is your room.” There was a large canopy bed to one side. On the other was a desk with a computer and a filing cabinet to the side. “I'll have to get my contracts from my office. I didn't plan on having to get them. Everything else you'll need will either be in a file or downloaded on the computer.”

  “Okay.”

“Do you have any questions for me?” Williams asked only getting a head shake as an answer. He sighed before sitting on the edge of the bed. “Can I ask a few questions?”

“I suppose so.” Nathan sat his briefcase down next to the desk and removed his overcoat.

“H-how did you intend on doing this?” Williams questioned, noticing that without the coat, Nathan looked slimmer than he had anticipated.

“What do you mean?” He stood in front of Williams, still looking as cold and serious as he had when he first got in the limo. Williams felt his throat dry as he looked up at him.

“You said that you had when we would have sex scheduled. Did you have what we would do planned already?” This would be so much easier if Nathan could show some emotion.

“I think it would be best if we went by ear on that. We don't know each other's boundaries yet.” Big talk from a man who was ready to finger him in the back of the limo an hour ago.

  “That's understandable.”

“What do you like?” Nathan asked. Williams swallowed lightly.

“I'm not sure how to answer that.”

“Is there anything you like more than others? Unless you decide to buy me out of the contract, we’ll be doing this for a while. We might as well make it enjoyable.” Nathan had moved closer, placing his hands on either side of Williams legs. The rich man felt his heart start to pound again. Were they going to do something now?

“I-I don't know. W-what about you?” Nathan’s face was still blank, but his eyes shifted back and forth between Williams’s. It was like he was trying to analyze him. Who knows, he might have been.

“We won't worry about what I want.” He placed a hand to Williams’s cheek and caressed it gently. Williams’s breath caught in his throat. His hand felt so warm, and it was gone so quickly. Nathan was standing back up like nothing happened, but Williams could still feel his heart pounding in his chest. “We’ll take things slow to start out. If you think of anything in particular, you can let me know. Right now, I think it's best if I got to work.”

“Right. Okay. I'll just give you some space.” Williams hurried out of the room. Nathan watched him go. He didn’t show the sheer panic he had about what he had just gotten himself into.

  ***

Williams’s stomach was tied up in knots. Why did he ever have Dave write that contract in the first place? He knew it was a bad idea. This is what happens when you do something just because you feel lonely.

He sighed and sank into his seat next to the book shelf. Maybe reading would help him calm down. It did for a while. He was reading a r
omance that he had picked up a week ago. The plot seemed to twist and flow like a tango. The characters pushed and pulled off of each other until they finally met in the middle. The sweet story had sucked him in to the point he didn’t hear the footsteps coming towards him.

“Williams.” Nathan called when he was close enough. Williams yelped and jumped, book falling closed in his lap. Nathan took a quick step back. “I didn't mean to scare you.”

“It's alright. What did you need?” Nathan seemed to hesitate for a moment before clearing his throat and stepping forward with a large stack of papers in his arms.

“I thought that we should go over the contracts that you have with Dave.” He placed the stack on the coffee table that was next to Williams's.

“You've gone through this many contracts since we got here?”

“I read quickly.” Nathan pulled the first stack off the top before sitting on the ottoman at Williams’s feet. “I didn't really find any issues with what was in the contracts. Which is why it seems odd to me that he managed to mess ours up so badly.”

  “So, what does that mean?”

“You may not have to fire him. Just make sure that you read everything before you sign it.” Nathan stated. Williams shifted in his seat. Given how stiff he was, he must have been reading longer than he thought.

  “So, what’s wrong with these?”

“Well, nothing really. It’s just that they’ve expired, and I need to know which ones have been renewed.”

“You'll have to talk to Dave about that. I honestly don't remember what a lot of these are.” Williams said. He didn't really like the wide eyed look he was getting from the accountant.

“This is your company. How do you not know what contracts you have? You are literally the world’s richest man. Not knowing this could ruin that for you.” Nathan was getting heated. Out of all the rich people he had worked for, none had been this clueless about legal issues.

“I've really only been in charge for the past two years. Dad left the company to me in the will. Before that, he just kind of told me what to do. I haven't even been to the factory.” Williams flinched at the noise that came out of Nathan. It sounded like he'd been punched in the stomach. There was panic in his eyes.
