He opened his eyes and watched as Richard flicked the rings of both clamps.
“Good boy,” Richard said again. “Good boy.”
They kissed again, deep and hard.
“Are you ready to be fucked?” Richard said.
“Sir, please,” Troy nodded and whispered.
Richard turned Troy to face the counter and pushed his face down. He spread Troy’s legs until he could barely keep his balance. This meant Troy had a predicament. He could lean on the counter, which made his stance more stable, but put pressure on the nipple clamps, sending electric shocks down his body. Or he could brace himself with his arms elevating his chest slightly. This protected his poor nipples but strained his arms and legs. He started to shake, not sure what to do.
“I’m going to take good care of you,” Richard said, running his hand through Troy’s hair, down his neck, down his spine and through his ass crack.
Troy could feel Richard’s fingers pulling his ass cheeks apart. Richard’s fingers were wet, and they started to work Troy’s hole. First one finger slipped in, pumping in and out. Richard tickled his prostate, and Troy had to bite his lip not to come
“If you come, this all ends,” Richard reminded him. “I walk. Hold on. It won’t be long now.”
Troy was panting and digging his teeth into his own tongue trying not to come. His nipples were in such intense wonderful pain. Every cell in his body was on fire.
Richard pulled his finger out, and Troy could feel the head of his dick getting ready to enter.
“Please, Sir, please, Sir,” Troy begged. He was sweating and on the verge of tears. His clamped nipples kept hitting the counter. His rock-hard dick couldn’t hold back much longer. “Please, Sir, please, Sir.”
Richard slipped his dick into Troy’s ass, and he started pumping. He grabbed onto Troy’s hair and whispered in his ear, “Now, boy. You may come now.”
“Thank you,” he yelled, his back arching as he spurted his milk-white cum against the counter. Richard reached around and grabbed Troy’s dick and started running his hands up and down the shaft. His cum hit the floor as well. He stood there panting and dripping with sweat as Richard pulled out and started to remove the nipple clamps. He pulled on the left nipple, making Troy squeal before releasing the clamp. Then he did the same to the right nipple.
“Boy, you need to clean up,” Richard said and then kissed Troy’s shoulders.
“Clean up,” Troy said, dazed.
Richard pinched Troy’s still very sensitive nipples, sending good, painful sensations radiating into his chest. “It’s still, ‘Sir’. Don’t make me regret letting you come,” he said patting his ass.
Troy realized he was being ordered to clean up his own cum, but the waves of orgasm were still rolling through his body. He couldn’t think. He could only feel. Every hair on his body felt like an electric wire. His nipples hurt and seemed larger. His penis was sensitive to the slightest breeze. He stood there at the counter, panting and basking in the post-sex glow.
“It’s not over yet,” Richard said. “And you don’t want your boss or your co-workers to know what you were doing late at work. Clean up.”
Troy grabbed a rag and got back on his knees and wiped the counter and floor clean. When he looked up, Richard’s hand was in front of Troy’s face holding one chocolate-covered cherry.
“Open your mouth, boy,” Richard said.
Troy did as he was ordered and Richard put the candy on his tongue. Troy worked with chocolate all day, but it had never tasted so sweet.
“I want to see you again, Sir,” Troy said. “Please, Sir.”
Richard grabbed another chocolate-covered cherry from the open box on the counter and put it in his own mouth.
“You know, I bought five chocolates hoping you would remember me. I know it’s an odd number,” he said. “So, what are you doing for Valentine’s Day? We still have three chocolates left.”
And then he kissed Troy again, saliva and chocolate and cherries from two mouths all mixed together. It was lovely.
Troy grinned. He knew he wasn’t going to be alone this Valentine’s Day. He wouldn’t be alone at all.
CANDY HEARTS
A SWEET THINGS NOVELLA
FAITH GIBSON
Annie Mae Dalton looked up as the bell rang on the front door to her bakery, Sweet Things. William Thomas, the local veterinarian, made his way to the see-through cabinets filled with sweet goodness. He removed his hat as he greeted Annie, “Good morning Annie. You’re as beautiful as ever.” She smiled at the older gentleman, having long ago gotten used to his usual affirmation of her looks.
“Good morning William. Your usual?” William came in every Friday for one of the bakery’s famous coffee cakes. Annie noticed a very good-looking younger man with William as he replied, “Yes, ma’am, the Cinnamon Apple special.”
Annie watched as the thirty-something man looked around at the bakery, probably taking in all the Valentine’s decorations. There were pink hearts everywhere. William continued, “Annie, I’d love for you to meet my nephew, Dean. He’ll be moving into my house and taking over my practice now that I’ve decided to retire and move to Florida.”
Annie reached across to shake hands with Dean. “Nice to meet you, Dean.”
Dean reached across the counter, smiling slightly, as if he were embarrassed. William continued, “Since Dean here is single and had nothing holding him back, he graciously agreed to move here from Nashville. Might was well keep everything in the family.” William winked at Annie and she couldn’t miss the fact that Dean was looking at his shoes. Just as Annie was asking Dean what she could get him, Jesse, her twin brother, came barreling through the front door, as he did every morning at this time.
“Good morning An…” As Jesse noticed Dean, the words died on his lips. Annie couldn’t help but hear the gasp that came out of Dean’s mouth as he noticed Jesse. Annie and Jesse were both tall with brown hair and green eyes. Annie kept her hair pulled back while working in the bakery. Jesse wore his a little too long, and the waves always looked messy. Annie knew how good-looking her brother was. He had women falling all over him and had since they were young.
“Ah, good morning Jesse. This is my nephew, Dean Thomas. He is going to be taking over my practice and living here in Clarksville.” William made the introductions.
Jesse finally broke out of his fixation and held his hand out. Dean shook his hand firmly, holding on a few seconds longer than he probably should have. “Jesse, very nice to meet you.”
Jesse finally found his voice and released the newcomer’s hand. “Likewise.” Clearing his throat, he continued, “So, moving out to William’s place, huh? That’s beautiful land. I’m sure you’ll be happy.” Dean smiled at Jesse, showing very white teeth that were just a little crooked, as well as deep dimples in both cheeks. Jesse was sure he was going to begin hyperventilating if he didn’t move. Jesse mumbled “It was a pleasure meeting you, I’m sure I’ll see you around.” He abruptly made his way to the office in back of the bakery.
Annie had noticed the chemistry between the two men. While she was sure Dean was gay, she concluded that William had intended for Dean to fall for the wrong twin. Annie turned from watching her brother practically sprint to the back and continued to take Dean’s order.

Jessie James Dalton shut the office door and leaned his back against it. He attempted to adjust himself behind his zipper. He couldn’t remember the last time he had been affected by a man so quickly. With just one look, one touch. Fuck! Was he mistaken that Dean had held on to his hand a little longer than a normal handshake? Was he gay? Or was he just being overly nice? God! Get a grip of yourself, man. Laughing out loud, he realized he was doing just that, gripping his erection.
Jesse pushed away from the door and ran his fingers through his already messy hair. He paced back and forth. Trying to slow his breathing so he could walk back out front without making a fool of him
self, he didn’t notice Annie had opened the door.
“Jessie,” she gently said, knowing her brother was deep in thought. Jesse spun around and looked at Annie. “Did I imagine that?”
Annie crossed her arms over her ample breasts and grinned. “No, I think you’re right on the money. I am sure William thought Dean was going to fall at my feet, with me being the good-looking one.” She jumped back as Jesse playfully swatted at her. Grinning, Jesse put his hands in his pockets. “Come on, old man, I need help unloading the supplies.” Jesse was older than Annie by three minutes and she never let him forget it.

Dean Thomas had lived a quiet thirty-two years, flying under the gay radar. His parents were good ole Southern Baptists who didn’t approve of the lifestyle, so Dean never came out to them. He had gone to vet school at the University of Knoxville and then moved back home to Nashville, working for the same vet clinic for the last six years. Dean had dated a few men, but nothing serious. When his uncle called and offered him his own practice, it didn’t take Dean long to agree. Meeting men in a small Georgia town would be difficult, but he would be close enough to Atlanta if he wanted to go out for a night.
William Thomas had lost his wife twenty years earlier. They had never had children and he never remarried. Dean was his only nephew and he loved him like his own son. So when it came time to retire, there really was only one option. Pass his vet clinic and practice on to Dean. Dean insisted on paying for the house and William finally relented but at much less than market value.
Now Dean was lost in thought about the gorgeous man he had just met at the bakery. He wondered what kind of impression he’d made. Had he held onto Jesse’s hand too long? Damn, did I already screw up? Dean hoped not. How lucky would he be if that gorgeous man was also gay?
William came into the kitchen and stood looking out the sliding glass door at the back of the house. Dean walked up behind him and put his hands on his shoulders.
“Uncle Will, I can’t thank you enough.”
William turned and put his hand on Dean’s neck. “Just be happy, my boy. Just be happy. Oh, and don’t screw up my practice. I’ve made a good name here.” William chuckled to himself. Dean knew he considered him to be an excellent vet or he would never have offered him this position, despite their closeness.
They said their goodbyes and Dean made his way to the clinic. William had already introduced Dean to the assistant slash receptionist slash bookkeeper. Jenny Carpenter was a pretty woman in her early forties. She was married to one of the local deputies and they had three kids. Jenny had worked for William for fifteen years so she knew the clinic’s workings well. It didn’t take long for them to get into a familiar routine, allowing Dean to relax and enjoy his new practice.
William had informed Dean of his Friday ritual of getting a coffee cake from Sweet Things and encouraged Dean to continue the tradition. Not only would it keep him in Jenny’s good graces, but he could also see Annie. Dean had agreed it would be the thing to do, but it wasn’t the pretty girl he hoped to see. It had been two weeks since he had moved in, two weeks since he’d seen Jesse. After having dreamt of the man and jacked off every night to his memory, he wasn’t sure if he could face him without being nervous.
The bells jingled announcing his presence. Annie wasn’t behind the counter, but another young woman was. She looked up at him with her mouth agape. Dean was used to the effect he had on women and some men. He politely ignored it.
“Good morning. Can I get one of the apple cinnamon coffee cakes, please?”
Katy, as the young woman’s nametag read, just nodded and began getting his order together. Before she could put the cake in a box, Dean heard the bells jingle. He literally felt the air change. He knew before he turned around that Jesse had just walked through the door.
****
Jesse couldn’t believe it. He’d watched and waited every day for Dean to return. Jesse didn’t have a pet or a reason to go visit Dean at the clinic, so he had hoped every day, dreamed every night that Dean would return to him. And here he was. Normally not shy, Jesse was still unsure if he had read Dean right. He shut the door behind him and slowly made his way to the man who had been the object of his fantasies for the past two weeks. Jesse had been worse than a teenager, walking around with a hard-on every day, jacking off every night. Now he was getting hard again just looking at Dean. Feeling blessed that the January weather was cold enough to warrant a coat, he didn’t have to hide the erection pushing at his jeans. Men weren’t supposed to be beautiful, but taking in all that was Dean, Jesse realized this man was indeed something special.
Even though Dean had on a coat, it was open down the front and Jesse could make out the wide shoulders and tapered waist. He looked up at Dean’s face and noticed he was staring intently with one eyebrow cocked. He was smirking. Yep, the man was smirking. He’d caught Jesse checking him out. This time when they shook hands Dean allowed his thumb to rub across the back of Jesse’s hand. Before Jesse could make anything of it, Katy cleared her throat.
“Good morning, Jesse. Sir, here’s your order. Would you like anything else?”
He was looking at Jesse with interest when his cell phone rang. “Excuse me.” Dean sighed, letting go of Jesse’s hand. He walked outside to answer the phone then came back in to pay for his order. Seeing the look on his face Jesse asked if everything was okay. Dean took the box from Katy and then turned back to Jesse. “Actually no, there’s a mare giving birth and having trouble. I have to go. It was really nice to see you again.”
Dean hurried out the door, leaving Jesse once again entranced. Jesse watched Dean get into his SUV and pull away from the curb. He turned to find Katy staring after Dean as well. When she caught him looking at her, she blushed, then began wiping the counter. Jesse frowned at Katy. Damn, what was that? Jealousy? As he was trying to make out his feelings, the bakery phone rang. Katy answered it then handed it to Jesse.
“Hello?” Jesse had his cell phone with him so he wondered who would be calling him on the bakery line. “Hey, Jesse, it’s Dean. Dean Thomas. I just left the bakery?”
Jesse couldn’t believe it. “I know who you are. What can I do for you?” Jesse’s heart was beginning to tattoo a pattern in his chest.
“Uh, I was going to ask you if you’d like to get together later, for maybe a beer?”
Jesse started grinning. “Yeah, I’d like that. When?” Please say tonight, oh God please say tonight. Yep, apparently Jesse was turning into a teenage girl.
“How about tonight? We can meet somewhere or uh, you can come out to my place?”
Had Jesse heard him right? “Your place?”
“Well I just meant…what I meant…well, we can meet somewhere in town then.”
“Oh, well if that’s what you want, but I don’t mind driving out to your place.” Jesse had hesitated too long, and Dean must have thought he was uncomfortable with that. The only thing he was uncomfortable with was the ache in his groin. The erection hadn’t gone down since he saw Dean earlier and if anything, hearing that deep voice on the phone only made it worse.
“Oh good. Good. If you don’t mind then, I’ll see you later, say around seven?”
Jesse almost sighed into the phone, “Yeah, seven’s good. See you then.”

The day had dragged on for Jesse. As soon as Annie saw him, she’d known something was up. He confided in her what had happened that morning and that he was really excited about that evening. Annie knew it had been a long time for Jesse. The one serious relationship he had been in had ended badly a few years back. Jesse had not been willing to put his heart on the line again, but over the last two weeks Annie had been convincing him to give it another try.
So here he was, sitting in front of Dean’s house with the truck running. He didn’t see the SUV and the lights weren’t on in the house. He was afraid Dean had changed his mind and was just about to leave when he saw lights coming up the driveway. H
e watched as Dean’s SUV pulled up in front of the garage and then as Dean climbed out, Jesse rolled down his window, not sure if he should still get out. Dean walked around, looking worn out, but still wearing that heart-stopping grin.
“Hey.” Jesse took in the sight of Dean and pushed his unruly curls off his forehead. Dean watched him do it, looking as if he wanted to reach up and push them back himself.
Jesse grinned. “Hey, I thought you might have changed your mind.” Taking in Dean’s appearance, his day had been a rough one.
“Nope, the mare didn’t care that I had a date. She decided I needed to spend more time birthing her baby than getting ready to see you.” Dean seemed to realize he had said the word date and glanced up to gauge Jesse’s reaction. He saw the grin on Jesse’s face and quickly added, “If you still want to come in, I’ll just need to grab a quick shower.”
Jesse rolled up the window and turned the truck off. He grabbed the twelve-pack off the seat and then followed Dean toward the house. Dean let them in the side door that led to the kitchen. Once inside, Dean began turning lights on. He pointed to the beer and said, “You can put those in the fridge. Just make yourself at home while I take a quick shower.” He started to turn away when Jesse grabbed his wrist.
Jesse pulled him into his chest and grabbed the back of his neck with the other hand. Jesse stared into those vibrant blue eyes, lips almost touching. Dean was holding his breath, waiting on Jesse to close the distance. Jesse didn’t disappoint him. He brushed his lips against Dean’s, once, twice, and then angled his head for a deeper feel. When Jesse teased out with his tongue, Dean opened his mouth to him. Soon, the kiss turned deeper, needier. Dean placed one hand in Jesse’s hair and one hand on his hip. He fisted the curly mess and pulled him deeper into his mouth.
Jesse ground his erection against Dean’s. It had been too long since he had been with another man, too long since he had felt the connection. His breathing ragged, he pulled back abruptly and laid his forehead against Dean’s. “Gotta stop. That feels too fucking good.”
