He raised an eyebrow and grabbed her around the waist again.

  “Hey!”

Ignoring her protests, he ran his hand up her bare thigh, hooked his finger in her panties and tore them off.

“Hey! I know your pants aren’t up there!”

He snorted and dropped her on the edge of the bed. She tried to scramble backward, but the skirt of her dress hampered her movements. He knelt beside the bed, pulled her legs forward and draped them over his shoulders. His warm breath tickled her already swollen pussy.

“No, no, no! No more! Caiden!”

His tongue swiped across her clit and she gasped, stiffening in his arms. Still super sensitive from the last orgasm, every touch was magnified a hundred times. He nipped her labia and thrust his tongue deep inside her vagina several times before coming back to her little bud of nerves.

He sucked it into his mouth and pulled.

She shattered, rocking against his face, but he refused to release her clit. She grabbed fistfuls of the bed sheets and moaned. Every neuron fired at once and muscles clenched in her body from head to foot. A scream tore from her throat as another wave of pleasure pushed her even higher. Death by pleasure.

Finally he released her from his mouth. She let her head sink back on the mattress and panted, trying to catch her breath. Her heart thumped hard against her ribs.

  “Now, sugar.”

He crossed his arms over his muscled chest. His tattooed shoulder flexed oh-so-sexily. Damn. She loved tattoos. They would have to talk about her getting something to match his. All she had right now was a small rose on her ankle.

  “Where are my pants?”

“In the bathroom.” She licked her lips and smiled.

  He frowned and waited.

  “In the hall.”

She hopped up on shaky legs and returned in a matter of a few second with his pants and underwear over her arm.

“Are you going to steal and hide my clothes again?”

She laid his pants on the bed and sauntered over to the dresser. “Abso-fucking-lutely.”

A deep laugh rolled up from his chest. “At least you’re honest.”

“It was worth it,” she answered, pulling a new pair of panties from the top drawer and slipping into them.

Caiden pushed open his mother’s front door and gave Lina a slight shove into the house where he’d grown up with his brothers and sister. She’d been nervous over the past weeks about meeting the rest of his family. They’d stayed mostly to themselves while she recovered and rested, but there wasn’t really a reason to continue with their reclusive ways. Lina was back to normal and he needed to get back to work. Trevor and Harvey couldn’t hold the fort down indefinitely.

He’d been over the moon since she’d agreed to move in with him yesterday and he hadn’t been able to keep his hands off her either. The fiasco with the clothes earlier had only fueled his libido more. The spunky little tart. He loved it.

“Lina! So good of you to finally allow our brother out of the house.” Harvey chuckled and swooped in to give her a quick hug. “We know you had him tied to that big bed of his.”

Bright red color swept across her cheeks. Caiden grinned and shook his head.

“Better him than me,” Lina answered back and laughed.

“Oh,” Harvey exclaimed and met his gaze. “I like her, Caiden.”

“Keep your mitts to yourself,” he answered and smiled.

His brother laughed and walked back into the kitchen where the rest of the family was gathered. The followed quietly, Caiden dropped both their coats on the couch in the living room.

“Caiden! Lina! So good to see you. I thought we’d never get you out of that house, dear girl. Caiden wouldn’t let any of us in, only the dishes of food.” His mother hugged him and then embraced Lina. “You know you have an open invitation to breakfast, lunch, or dinner.”

  “Thank you. That’s very sweet.”

“It’s more of an order than a request, sugar.”

  “Oh.” Her voice faltered.

“He’s joking,” Lizzy piped up. “Don’t listen to half of what he says. He likes to drive people crazy.” She held up two wine bottles. “White or red?”

  “White, please,” Lina answered. “Thanks.”

She glanced around the room. Trevor and Lorelei were standing a few feet away smiling. Lorelei waved and hurried over to give her hug.

“Hey girl,” she hugged the bubbly brunette. She could see why Trevor was hooked. Everything about Lorelei just screamed sweet and sassy. The sparkle in her eye said they would get along perfectly.

“So there’s a couple people here I don’t think you’ve met. Karen is here with her baby, Sadie, and her husband, Logan. He’s the giant standing over there with Harvey and the other guy that Lizzy can’t quit staring at every time she thinks no one is looking.”

Lina smirked. She felt sorry for the sole MacLaughlin girl. She couldn’t imagine having one older brother, much less three, especially ones as protective as Trevor, Harvey and Caiden.

  “Who is the other guy?”

“Oh, he’s an army buddy of Logan’s. His name is Ethan Hart. He seems nice, but I only just met him today. But Lizzy said he’s been around off and on throughout the years. He’s good friends with Karen and Logan.”

  “Are you talking about me?”

Lina took the glass of white wine from Lizzy’s outstretched hand.

“No, only about the object of your lustful glances,” Lorelei answered.

Lina snickered. These two women knew each other well. The glare Lizzy shot Lorelei could have frozen the Gulf of Mexico, but Lorelei just grinned.

“If you say anything, Lor, I’ll tell Trevor what you really want to try in the bedroom. Even if it grosses me out to talk about my brother’s sex life.”

Lorelei sucked in a quick breath. “You wouldn’t dare.”

Lizzy shrugged. “Gotta play the cards I have. You’re not the one with three overbearing brothers who verbally pound any guy into dust that I so much as wink at.”

“I think he could give a good pounding right back, personally.” Lina took a sip of her wine and smiled. Lorelei and Lizzy burst into giggles and Lina tried not to choke on her wine.

“Changing the subject, you are practically glowing, Lina. Anything you would like to share about your recent activities? Say around eleven when mom called Caiden’s house three times…” Lorelei tapped her foot and grinned.

Heat washed through her cheeks and she gulped. Oh, hell no! So, not talking about my sex life with you two. “I’m going to go help Susan check on the food.”

“Sure.” The two women echoed as she moved through the dining room to the kitchen where Susan MacLaughlin was busy mixing something in a pot on the stove.

“Hi, sweetie. Are the girls teasing you?”

She nodded and took another sip of her wine. “Can I help you with anything?”

“Sit right there in that barstool and chat with me while I get everything into serving dishes.”

“Yes, ma’am.” She slid into the open seat and glanced around the ranch style kitchen. It was warm. Wood paneling, soft ivory walls, and accents of apple red scattered around the kitchen was inviting. Caiden’s kitchen needed some accents. Some color.

“Are you staying with my son?”

“I don’t understand. I’m staying in his house, but you know that.”

“No, hon. Are you staying with my son or are you going back to Arizona?”

“She’s staying, Mom,” Caiden’s voice rumbled from the doorway.

“Good,” Susan answered and spooned out a huge amount of mashed potatoes from a pot on the stove into a large pottery bowl. She handed the filled bowl to Caiden and pointed to the dining room. He turned and left with it.

  “Do you love my son?”

“I do, very much, Mrs. MacLaughlin.”

“Good. That’s all I need to know.” She smiled and handed her a basket of ro
lls. “Would you go put this on the table?”

Lina nodded and walked out of the kitchen. She placed the basket on the table and jumped when Caiden laid both hands on her shoulders and squeezed. “You okay?”

  “I’m good.”

“You sure? My family can be a handful.”

She glanced around the dining room and smiled back at him. “I look forward to the adventure.”

The room cheered. Lizzy and Lorelei raised their glasses. “To adventure!”

Everyone else raised their drinks and echoed them. “Life is never boring when there are MacLaughlin’s in the mix,” Ethan added.

“And always filled with love and laughter,” Susan added from the kitchen doorway, holding a large chocolate iced cake.

“Here, Here!” The group cheered again.

“Happy birthday, son. I’m so pleased to see you so happy.”

“Yeah, brother. It’s good to see that the woman in your life isn’t a hunk of steel with an engine,” Harvey added, laughing.

“Hey, there’s always room for a good American muscle car, or two, in a person’s life!” Lina shot back and grinned.

Harvey rolled his eyes. “Oh no! She’s a car person too!”

Caiden wrapped an arm around her hip and squeezed. He pressed a soft kiss to her temple. “I love you Lina Mathews,” he whispered into her ear.

“I love you too, Caiden MacLaughlin.”
