Sure, there were missions to complete and plenty of places to explore, but I had always eventually hit an invisible wall.
Walls didn’t exist in the real world, but edges did – walk around the world and you’d still end up back where you started. And at the edge of the archipelago there was something else – an endless ocean, maybe? Or something else?
I had no idea if I was on another planet, if I had travelled back millions of years to a period unknown in history, or if I was in another dimension entirely… But none of that mattered. What mattered was that I was here and that there was a new world out there to explore, liberate and reclaim. The map may have dominated the bedroom wall, but behind it was a safe – the place that I had stored the papers and parchments that contained all known information the harpies possessed on the Cores.
Beautiful women, awesome powers and a position as ruler of a kingdom – it had been a busy week to say the least, but there was little time to rest. There was a plethora of other plans to be made about where we went next and how we would expand.
I had big ideas - but that’s another story and another adventure entirely.
