Stray Cats [High-Country Shifters 2] Page 11

by Melody Snow Monroe

Her breath hitched. “So you have been sleeping with them.”

She hadn’t come out and said the extent of her relationship, but from the way she never stopped talking about them, she assumed Lara could guess. “Just once each.”

“That’s all it takes. Wait until you have sex with both at the same time. It is divine.”

Sella’s face heated up. “We’ll see what the men feel like doing. I don’t want to push them too far on their first outing.”

Lara gave her a knowing smile. “When they see the pool and the hidden cove, trust me, nothing is going to stop them from taking advantage of the solitude.”

A giggle bubbled out. “I’m hoping.”

Yesterday, she’d gone home mostly to pick up some clothes but ended up telling her mom the whole story. Her mom wasn’t pleased about the lie, but she thought teaching the men about being shifters had been the right thing to do.

Once she packed the bag Lara found for her, she went back to the men. “Ready for an adventure?”

Gage groaned. “More than you can imagine.”

With her back to the men, she opened the door and called up the elevator. They didn’t ask how she did that because she had told them before that it was on a need-to-know basis. Once outside, the men spread their arms and jumped up and down, probably to test their strength.

“I never knew how much I needed the sun,” Will said.

She laughed. “Come on. I’ll show you the garden. A lot of families use this.”

Gage slipped next to her. “Where are all the people?”

“Everyone but a few, like my brothers, lives underground.”

From the way their brows furrowed and the glance they shot to each other, they were displeased. “We could never live like that.”

“It’s safe underground. There are no wolves.”

“I’d rather live in a tree house.”

“So would I, if the danger didn’t exist.” It was one of the reasons why she’d been so anxious to explore. “Come on.” She made sure not to hike too fast. While Will would have kept up, by the time he got there, he’d have been tired. “Make sure that you are always on alert for wolves. While we are in lion territory you can’t be too sure when a pack will show up.”

  “Why don’t you have weapons?”

She guessed he meant guns. “It’s not the Anterran way.” She wasn’t in the mood to get into that tired debate. She’d listened to her brothers defend the old-fashioned ways for years. “Besides, if a man had a gun, by the time he drew, aimed, and shot, the other person could have shifted and attacked. Guns are more of a hindrance than a help.”

  Gage shrugged. “Makes sense.”

The men pointed to the tall pines and lush foliage and kept commenting how pleasing Anterra was. It wasn’t that she didn’t know that a bear shifter was near, but it didn’t occur to her to say anything since the bear shifters were the most gentle of all races, except when attacked by wolves.

Only when Will and Gage both slowed and looked around did she realize that they sensed him. She was about to say something to them when Jalen stepped out of the woods in his bear form. She could always spot him. He was taller than all the other bears, whether he’d shifted or not.

As she turned to tell them that this newcomer meant no harm, both Will and Gage shifted. Damn it. Their impulsiveness would get them killed one day. Lucky for them, today wasn’t one of those days. They’d never even asked how many lions it took to defeat a bear, though even if they had, she wouldn’t have known, since lions didn’t attack bears.

“They’re new,” she shouted, hoping Jalen would take pity on them.

Both men launched themselves into the air. Gage landed three feet from the bear and started turning in a circle. It was the funniest sight she’d ever seen. She’d heard that bears could bend an animal’s mind, sending them into a state of confusion, but she’d never seen it happen. As for Will, he kept swatting at Jalen, but the fuzzy bear deflected his attempt. At least Jalen was kind enough to keep his claws retracted.

She had to stop this madness. “Guys! Jalen is a friend.”

She didn’t dare get too close for fear of getting trampled. Neither one stopped. Gage was still chasing his tail, and Will was flailing at the air, not getting anywhere near the shifter.

“Jalen!” If Will and Gage were too focused on attacking the bear, it was up to her friend to stop his stupid mind tricks and shift back.

He roared then shifted. It seemed to take a minute before her men realized what had happened. They, too, changed back. Will dropped to the ground, and Gage rubbed his head as if he’d been in a collision and couldn’t remember what happened. She ran to Will and massaged his shoulder since he was the one who looked the most exhausted.

  He looked up. “What happened?”

She swallowed a chuckle. “I thought I explained that bear shifters are our friends. Lions don’t attack them. If Jalen had wanted to kill you, you wouldn’t have lasted two seconds.”

Will and Gage looked at each other before Gage faced her. “All I remember is being forced to chase my tail.”

She clamped a hand over her mouth. “I’m sorry. That was too funny.”

  “Was I really doing that?”

She nodded then helped them up.

Jalen stepped forward and wrapped an arm around each man’s shoulders. She bet neither Will nor Gage had ever been comforted by a seven-foot-two-inch man before.

Gage stepped out of his hold and moved next to her. Whether it was to protect her or have her keep him from being manipulated again, she didn’t know.

Gage leaned over and whispered in her ear. “He’s creepy.”

Jalen laughed. “I heard that. I’ve been called a lot of things, but creepy hasn’t been one of them. Sella, you have chosen wisely. They are going to protect you well. My good friends, I bid you a fond good-bye.”

Gage stiffened. “We aren’t your friends. We don’t even know you.”

Jalen laughed. “Not on a conscious level yet. But on other levels we are well acquainted and indeed comrades.” He winked and disappeared into the woods.

Neither man moved until the sound of Jalen’s footsteps disappeared.

“What did he mean by that?” Gage asked.

“I’ve lived in Anterra my whole life, and even I don’t know what the bears are capable of. That’s why we’ve made sure to keep them our friends.”

“On Earth we have a saying. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.”

She had to think about that for a moment. “I guess so, but all I know is that we try to avoid the wolves.”

Gage smiled, wrapped an arm around her waist. “Didn’t you promise to show us a waterfall?”

Finally, she was going to get some time alone with her men. “Absolutely. Since there aren’t too many bears, we shouldn’t encounter any more today.”

“Good thing. I might end up biting my tail.”

She kept the pace slow, but when the roar of the waterfall grew louder, the men increased their speed. To get down to the falls, the path was steep. Even though she was used to moving all over the forest with no problem, Gage insisted on helping her down the path. How sweet was that?

At the bottom lay the crystal-clear, blue-green water, swirling from the falls.

“This is awesome!” Will said. “Is it okay to swim in it?”

“Sure.” His wounds had closed up completely, and the soothing water might actually help.

Gage looked around first before pulling her close. “Do you think other Anterrans would mind if we all get naked?” He nuzzled her neck. He must not realize he didn’t have to resort to his sexy ways to get her to undress.

“There is a chance someone might come this way, but if they do, they won’t even blink to see people swimming naked. I’ve watched enough of your television to know your people wear suits when you swim. We don’t.”

Gage leaned back and grinned. “I’m beginning to see the allure of this place.”
r />   She pouted, hoping that she’d be an additional allure, too. “You wouldn’t want to come back to see me?” She hadn’t flirted in so long. It felt good to do so.

Will slipped next to her. “Sugar, if we could we would. Now, how about we get you naked, and you show us where the best place is to swim.”

She laughed. The pool wasn’t that big. “Give it your best try.”

After she set down her backpack, Will pulled her skirt down while Gage slipped off her top. Other than her sandals, they got her naked in under five seconds. She toed off her shoes. “Let me show you a little cove that’s nice. We can store everything there.” And then we can have wild passionate sex in private.

They both followed her to the cove. Once under the almada trees, which nearly blocked out the sun, she turned to remove their clothes. Right now, she didn’t even want to imagine how many couples had made love in this wonderfully secluded spot.

“Why don’t you both take off your shoes?”

They obliged. She had to admit they looked funny in a loincloth and hiking boots, but she didn’t want to impose on her brothers to lend them sandals. If she could convince them to stay she’d fix them up with the best pair of shoes she had at her store.

Both men started to unknot the loincloths. “Wait.” They both obeyed. “Let me.”

Will wrapped his hands behind his head while Gage held his out parallel to the ground, awaiting the disrobing.

She tapped her chin trying to decide which one to do first. “Hmm.”

“Do me first, sugar. I’ve suffered more than Gage.”

He did have a point. “Okay.” She moved closer and could tell his cock was already at attention. “You do have excellent healing powers.” She tapped the tip of his cock through the material.

  “Don’t you know it.”

She fumbled a bit with the knot, but then again, she didn’t have much experience getting a man undressed. Zippers and buttons seemed to be easier. “I guess I shouldn’t have tied the knot so tight.” Once she worked it back and forth, the cloth dropped to the ground. “Wow.”

“It’s the same as the last time you saw it.”

She shook her head. “I think it’s grown. Maybe it’s the Anterran air.”

  He laughed.

Gage stepped closer. “You need to check me out. If I recall, you made a fuss about how big I was.”

He was just saying that to cause dissension between them, though she had told him that. “Let me see.” His knot was easier to take apart, and he was naked in a flash. She stepped back and pretended to decide who might be bigger. “I say it’s a tie.” Having grown up with three brothers, she was smart enough not to start a fight.

As if they had learned how to communicate silently with each other, they moved toward her as one. Oh, boy, she was in for it now. She held up her hands. She’d already planned this whole seduction. They’d go swimming, where she’d inadvertently brush against their cocks. That would lead to some heavy petting, which in turn would lead to sex.

Gage pressed his chest against her back, and Will stepped in front. “We never got to test you.”

“Test me?” Once more she was confused by their words. “What could you possibly test?”

Gage wrapped his arms around her body and slipped his hands over her breasts. “I want to see if they truly are symmetric. I know they look perfect, but do they weigh the same?”

They were being ridiculous, but she loved their playful nature. “And you, Will? What are you going to test?”

He grinned and slipped a finger in her pussy. The moment he swirled it around, she clamped down on him. Spikes of passion rippled up her body and made her pussy gush. “Oh, oh.”

“I was testing whether seeing our cocks excited you.”

Clearly he could tell from the amount of cream in her pussy that that was the case. “You do.”

He shook his head. “Gage, I think I have to use another instrument. Why don’t you get out that blanket she said she brought, and I can examine her better?”

Erotic images filled her brain, and her stomach tumbled in anticipation. Being naked with the warm winds caressing her skin filled her with carnal lust so strong she wasn’t sure she could stay in control for long.

Gage’s hands guided her down to the blanket. What she hadn’t expected was for Will to walk to one side and Gage to the other and quickly wrap one end of the loincloths around each of her wrists.

“What’s this for?” She attempted to sort out the options, but before she could draw a conclusion she was on her back with her arms stretched high around her head, tied to a damned tree. “Are you kidding?”

Will came back into view. “Sugar, I loved when you tied me up. This is called fair play. You okay with that?”

Actually, she was more than okay with it, but she pretended to struggle. Will dragged a finger down her belly, and a smile stole across her face.

Gage dropped to his knees. “She likes it. We may have to keep her this way. We’ve got water, and I’m sure we could shift and kill some wild animal to help feed us for days, if not weeks.”

If it meant she could keep her men with her for that long, she’d be willing to eat something as disgusting as raw, bloody meat. “Just don’t kill a wolf shifter. I hear they taste terrible.”

The both laughed. Will slipped a finger across her lips. “So you do like raw meat?”

His serious tone almost made her believe he’d do what he said. The truth had to be told. “That’s simply savage.”

He burst out laughing. “I’d never do that to you.”

She lifted her head as much as she could. “You better not. Now didn’t someone brag about testing me with another instrument?” She hoped it was a velvety tongue or a big, thick cock.

Will grinned and grabbed his dick in his hand. “You want this?” He waved it around as if she had to earn it.

Two could play at this game. “Nope. Not interested.” She would have crossed her arms if they’d been free.

“Oh, yeah? Let’s see how long you can stay uninterested.”

Yes! She was certain they saw through her ploy, but it was fun to play with these two cubs. By the time Will slipped between her legs, she was dripping. She bet animals could smell her arousal from afar.

He inhaled. “Even in my human form, my senses are better.” He looked up. “I can smell her honey. It’s strong.” He licked his lips.

“Why don’t you taste me?” With these men, she was comfortable enough to make that suggestion. Her stomach clenched when she realized they’d be gone soon.

  Stop them.

  How?

She never got the chance to come up with a plan because Gage dragged his hands down her bare arms, leaving a trail of goose bumps from his tender touch. He scooted next to her head right where she could see his big cock.

  “Need a lick, cowboy?”

She had no idea if there were cowboys in Miami, but he sure was built like one, only bigger.

Gage’s answer was to lean close enough for her to lick the tip but not close enough for her to drag his length into her mouth. Since the long vein was purple and throbbing, he must need her help. She lifted her head and dragged her tongue along his entire length. His eyes closed. He could pretend he was immune, but she knew better.

As she opened her mouth to capture him, Will swiped his tongue across her pussy. She sucked in her stomach to calm the spasms shifting inside her. “Oh, oh.”

Will chuckled. Damn him. “I think she likes this.”

As if he didn’t think she would. “I am not excited.”

  “Sure, sugar.”

Just to prove his point, he slipped a finger into her pussy again. She couldn’t help but cream his finger. Her hips seemed to move on their own, wiggling and lifting each time he probed her. Possibly to calm her down, Gage leaned over, cupped her face, and kissed her. Automatically, she opened up to greet him.

Her thoughts shifted to him even though Will was making her crazier by the minute. The
streaks of excitement from the kiss collided with the pulses racing up her pussy. They crashed in the middle, making her stomach flip and flop. When Will reached up and tweaked her nipple, her mind blanked. She dragged her face away from his drugging kiss.

  “It’s too much.”

Both men stopped. Will lifted his head and clamped his hands on her thighs. “Was I too rough?”

“No. No. It was too good.”

Gage grinned. “That’s no reason to stop. If you need to come, you go right ahead. We’re strong. We can hold off.”

Damn him. She always met challenges. Nothing they could do would make her break. Being able to come together would be the ultimate pleasure. “So can I.” She raised her chin, but she was sure her eyes told them she was lying.

  Chapter Eleven

Sella’s gaze wasn’t focused on either man, but she sensed they were communicating with each other even if they didn’t realize that they could. Will spread her legs wide and flicked his tongue over her opening quickly and furiously. The intensity was like throwing ten matches on dry leaves and standing back to watch them burn. She was on fire from the inside out, forcing her breaths to come in short pants. Damn them. Her ability to control her body seemed to be nonexistent with these two. Gage placed a palm on one breast and grabbed the other nipple with his mouth. When he sucked the tip, her back arched and a loud moan escaped.

He looked up. “Easy there. I plan on feasting on you for a long time.”

Why did he have to tell her that? She wanted to suck on his cock, but she knew he wouldn’t be able to last long if she had her way.

Will nipped her clit then dragged his tongue over the now-swollen nub. Her jaw tightened as she tried not to lose total control. Heat swam inside and radiated outward. Her climax was close, begging for a release, but she fisted her hands, trying to hold off.

When Will slipped three fingers in her pussy and sucked on her clit at the same time, a wave of lust rained down so hard, she couldn’t stop from coming. Her yell probably scared all the birds away for miles.

Spasms slammed down her body over and over again until exhaustion claimed her. She let out a big breath and let her body relax. Both men sat up and had the nerve to grin like squawking monkeys.
