Chance Encounter Page 5

by Alex Tempera

“You can do whatever you want to me,” Chance said.

“Where I do want to fuck you, like I said, I’m not going to right now. I want to explore your body,” Evan said.

“Whatever you want,” Chance said. “You’re the boss.”

“What?” Evan looked into his eyes.

“Boss,” Chance licked his lips and pulled Evan close to him. He invaded Evan’s mouth with his tongue and teased the inside of his mouth as their tongues twisted around each other.

Evan stood up and grabbed a hold of Chance’s pants. He removed the belt and unzipped them, as he pulled them down his legs, allowing Chance’s erection to pop up in relief from pressing against the zipper. He unbuttoned his pants, dropped them down his legs, and stepped out of them. He removed Chance’s boxers and then lay next to him on the bed. He ran his hands down Chance’s chest and wrapped his hand around his cock. “What do you want, Baby?”

Chance rolled slightly on his side and looked in Evan’s eyes. “You,” he gulped. “You, Boss,” he pressed his mouth against Evan’s. “You, Boss.”

Evan jerked Chance’s cock and then pressed his own hand over his cock. He held the two cocks together. “Can you feel me, Baby?” he breathed into his mouth.

  “Yes,” Chance closed his eyes.

“No, Baby, look at me. I want to see the lust in your eyes,” he whispered as he thrust his hips, still holding both cocks in his hand and against each other.

  “I’ve never…” Chance gasped.

“It’s all right, let it go,” he said. “It’s not fucking, Baby, it’s something I want you to feel.”

“I feel it,” Chance said, as he placed his hands around their cocks. He thrust his hips in rhythm with Evan. “I’m gonna come.”

“Do it, Baby,” Evan ran his tongue down Chance’s jawline and then plunged it into Chance’s mouth as they both exploded all over each other’s hands and chest. “Like, Baby?”

Chance continued to kiss Evan passionately and then he pulled away. “Holy, shit.”

  “Shower?”

Chance looked down at them, both chests glistening with the come all over their bodies. “Wow.”

  “Sexy, isn’t it?” Evan smiled.

“Very,” he said. “Don’t wash this away.” He touched the initials on his scar.

“Never,” he said. “And when they fade, we’ll put them back until we’re ready for it to be permanent.”

“Permanent?” Chance followed him into the bathroom.

“One day at a time, Baby,” Evan smiled as he turned on the hot water, and they stepped into the shower.

Chance soaped up Evan’s body and then looked into his eyes. “I’m sorry.”

  “For what?” Evan asked.

  “Being weak,” he sighed.

“You are not weak. I just wanted to show you that we can do so many things without having to be a top or a bottom, but just so you know…” Evan grinned. “The next time…”

  “Next time?” Chance smiled.

“Yeah, we’re definitely fucking,” he said.

“We are?” Chance pressed his mouth against Evan’s neck.

“Yup, because I love that tight ass of yours,” Evan grabbed his ass and pulled him close as the water ran down their naked bodies.

  10

Chance waited outside City Hall, dressed in his patrol uniform. He watched as Evan walked out of the building. He smiled because he loved that strut that Evan had. It emitted self-confidence and he wished that he could have the same confidence. He only felt that way when he had his badge on his belt, but lately, he was starting to feel that way by just being in Evan’s arms. Evan’s words were filling up his head and his heart and he almost believed them. Yeah, almost. Maybe someday, Evan’s words would drown out Todd’s but he just needed to speak a little louder.

Evan smiled as he approached Chance. “Is something wrong?”

“No, I know we’ve been doing this every night this week, but I thought one more night would be good.”

“Sure,” he said. “Chance, are you all right?”

  “Um, yeah,” he smiled.

“Don’t hide from me,” Evan said. “I do have to stop home and change, if you didn’t mind. I want to get out of this suit.”

“Oh, sure, I can pick up you up in my squad car in about an hour.”

“Or you can give me a ride home,” Evan said. “Whatever you prefer.”

“I can give you a ride,” Chance said as he opened the car door for Evan. “Here you go, Boss.”

“You like that, don’t you?” Evan smiled.

  “What?”

  “Calling me boss?”

  “Yeah,” Chance smiled.

Evan touched Chance’s face. “First time.”

  “For what?” Chance asked.

  “Your smile,” he said.

“I smile, lots of times,” Chance said.

“Yeah, but this time, you’re whole face smiled and your eyes matched.”

“Oh, that’s because I’m looking at you, Boss.”

“Such a flirt,” Evan got in the car and Chance closed the door.

Evan watched as Chance walked back to the car, he admired how his police uniform accented his body. Chance had a body that he loved to explore. He knew he still had a lot to prove. He had to show Chance that he was a valuable person. Someday, Evan would fall in love with him. He hoped that someday, Chance would fall in love with him and not only admit it, but also be happy about it. Evan wanted to take a Chance. And be with him for as long as life would allow it.

Chance got in the car and smiled. “Another damn argument between the barber and vet,” he laughed.

“What was it this time?” Evan asked.

“They were arguing over who had the number one album in July of 1972.”

  “Who won?” Evan asked.

  “No one,” he sighed.

  “What do you mean?”

“The number one song in July of 1972 was Alone Again (Naturally) by Gilbert O'Sullivan,” Chance started the car. “Tom said it was Lean on me by Bill Withers and Lloyd said it was American Pie by Don Mclean.”

“Oh, and you knew the answer because?” Evan smiled as he leaned back in the car seat.

“I know my music,” he said. “Someday, I’ll show you my vinyl collection.”

  “Seriously?”

“Oh, yeah, where you have that book library, I have a music library. All vinyls. I have a great stereo system.”

“Is that something that I need a key for?” Evan smirked.

“Nope, the key is for my heart,” Chance stopped. “Um, that’s not what I mean.”

“That’s OK, we can talk about that some other time,” Evan said. “So, who’s is your favorite all-time group?”

“Zeppelin,” he said. “I also like the early Aerosmith and Elvis.”

  “The King?” Evan smiled.

“You know it, and I loved him skinny or fat, didn’t much matter to me, his voice was the same,” he said. “I do have a few moves, too.”

“You’ll need to show me,” Evan smiled as Chance drove down the road and then turned on the road. He stopped the car when the pavement stopped.

“Here again? What’s here that’s so important?”

“Oh,” Chance smiled. “Let’s get out and I’ll show you.”

Evan and Chance got out of the squad car and Evan followed Chance. “We were here before, but I took off on you. What is this place or what will it be?”

“It’s going to be a new neighborhood,” he said. “But what I wanted to show you is just over here.” He led Evan down the dirt road, around a section of woods, and over to a large grassy plot that was outlined in string. The rest of the plots were still dirt, but this one had grass and even a paved driveway. He led him to the back edge of the grass and pointed. “See that down there. All those trees?”

  “Yeah, it’s nice,” he said.

  “Yeah, it’s mine,” he sighed.

  “Yours?” Evan smiled.

  “This plo
t and all of that, it’s mine,” he said. “I just wasn’t sure what to do with it.”

  “What do you mean?”

“Round River was my founded by one of my great-great-great-grandfathers,” Chance said as he pointed to two large rocks.

Evan and Chance sat down on the rocks. “It’s really beautiful here. The view. The stars kind of go on forever.”

“I like sitting here,” he said. “I’m not rich with money, only with the land. My brother and I owned a lot of the land. Over the years, most of the land was sold or given to others, that’s how there is a town here. My brother got rid of all the land that he owned and this area here, and the rest of the development is what I own.”

“What about the house you live in now?”

“Well, my house was my mother’s house. I bought it when my mother moved to the nursing home. She didn’t want me taking care of her. My brother didn’t want the house or to help mom. My brother is a real ass. I’m sure Janet told you.”

“That wasn’t the word she used but I’m sure she wanted to say it,” Evan laughed.

“When I made arrangements for a developer to create this neighborhood, I had this part set aside for myself. It can’t be sold or built upon by anyone but me.”

“Oh, well, that’s good. Is that what you’re going to do?”

“I don’t know. To be honest, it’s one of the reasons Todd married me,” he sighed.

“Chance, if you don’t want to talk about him, we don’t have to,” Evan said.

Chance stood up and sighed. “Evan, I like that we’re friends. I don’t know if we can do any more than we do right now.” Chance turned around. “I like being with you. It’s amazing, but I can’t give my heart away. I’ve never been able to, so I don’t even know if I know how.”

Evan stood up. “Chance, we’re friends. We care about each other and we are still building trust. That’s good. That’s all we can do, well, except, I do like being with you and soon, I want to fuck you again. Only this time, don’t run away from me.”

Chance looked into his eyes. “I promise, Boss, I won’t run away.”

“Good,” Evan held his face and kissed his softly on the mouth. “How much longer on this ride along?”

“Another hour,” Chance said. “Maybe after, we could have a beer and hang out. I just don’t want this evening to end.”

“Me either,” Evan said. “Show me more of this town.”

Chance took his hand and led him back down the road to the squad car.

  11

Chance knocked on Evan’s door hurriedly. “Evan, please, Boss, answer,” he called.

Evan hurried down the stairs as he tied his robe. He opened the door. “Chance, what is it? It’s three in the morning.”

Chance was shaking as Evan put his arm around him and led him into the house. “I’m s-s-sorry,” his voice shook.

Evan led him to the sofa. “Chance, Baby, what is it?”

Chance held Evan’s hands and gulped his tears back. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to wake you up.”

“I don’t sleep much. I was reading. You’re upset. You were fine when you left a couple hours ago. What happened?”

“I told you I was worthless and I was right,” he stared down at his hands in his lap.

Evan lifted up his chin with his hand. “Chance, look at me,” he said. “What happened? I want to help.”

  “Todd called me,” he sighed.

“What? What did he say? Baby, you never really gave me details,” he sighed. “I want to help but I know he upset you. Please, tell me. You can trust me. I swear.”

Chance sighed. “He heard that you and I were friends,” Chance explained. “He is jealous and he threatened me. He … he …” he tried to control his sobs.

“Take your time, Baby,” Evan held him close and placed Chance’s head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arm around him. “The bastard threatened you?”

  “Yes,” Chance said.

“What did he say?” Evan kissed the top of his head.

“He said he’d tell you the truth about me,” Chance said. “He said he’d get you to break up with me.”

“Break up?” Evan asked. “I thought we were friends.”

Chance looked into his eyes. “His words. Not mine. I’m sorry, Boss. I should go.”

“Wait,” he looked into Chance’s eyes as he sat up.

“That came out wrong. I said it all wrong.”

“No, you didn’t. It was his words.”

“I guess some think we’re a couple. I think we’re friends who are very close and we may be working up to that, but since Todd … you probably don’t want to be friends now.”

“For one, we are friends. Hell, Baby, I want us to be a couple, but I don’t think you’re ready for that. Your heart is guarded.”

  “Isn’t yours?”

“A little but not as much as yours. Baby, you need to realize how wonderful and special you are. We need to work this out. Nothing Todd … That fucking bastard could do or say would make me not want to be with you.”

Chance stood up and walked over to the window. “He can’t just leave me alone. I wish he’d go away. I haven’t heard from him in months. We divorced two years ago, and now, he says I owe him. He said I was only good for two things and he wants me to start sucking his cock again. He said … I belong on my knees and no other way. He said he would tell you anything just to get rid of you.”

Evan stood up and walked over to Chance. He pressed his chest up against his back as he wrapped his arms around his body. “You are not worthless. I won’t let that fucker hurt you. I swear. I think you’re the best man I have ever met. I’m honored that you’re my friend. You are a great cop but you are so much more than that. You are also a great lover, but you are so much more than that.”

Chance turned around and gazed into his eyes. “I’m sorry.”

Evan wiped his tears. “Don’t ever apologize for being upset,” he kissed his cheek. “Now, I’d like for you to stay here tonight. You need some sleep.”

  “Don’t you sleep?”

“A few hours now and then,” Evan said.

Chance followed Evan up the stairs as Evan shut off the light.

Evan took off his robe. “Just get comfortable and try to sleep. I’ll be right here with you. I promise.”

Chance took off his shirt and pants and folded them up. He set them on the chair and got under the covers on the bed.

Evan moved his book off the bed and lay next to Chance. He wrapped his arms around him. “I’m right here and no one will take you away from me. I promise.”

“Thank you, Boss,” Chance closed his eyes.

“Anything for you, Baby,” he kissed the top of his head. Evan watched Chance as he fell asleep. He shut the light off.

  12

Chance woke up and Evan wasn’t in the bed. He looked around the room, a little confused at first as to where he was but then he remembered. “Boss?”

Evan appeared at the top of the stairs. “Coffee in bed,” he smiled as he set the tray on the bed and handed Chance a cup of coffee. “Morning.”

“Did you get any sleep?” Chance asked.

“A little,” he said. “I don’t sleep well, but I actually fell asleep with you in my arms. It felt nice.”

Chance sipped his coffee as Evan sat down on the bed next to him. “Thanks for letting me stay and thanks for listening.”

“Of course,” Evan said. “I told you, Baby. I’m here for you. I want us to be more, but I want you to feel better about yourself, so you can feel good about us.”

Chance nodded. “I guess sometimes, it’s easy to believe the bad stuff than it is the good stuff. The more people tell you you’re worthless, the more apt you are to believe it. I think when someone tells you something … the same thing over and over again, it gets in your head.”

“Well, if that’s the case, I’ll tell you every fucking day, every minute of every fucking day how wonderful and amazing you are.” />
  “Seriously?” Chance smiled.

“Yes,” Evan pressed his mouth against Chance’s. “For every moment he hurt you, I’ll show you how great you are.”

Chance smiled. “I feel like a fucking kid. I’m an adult and a cop, and I let him get to me.”

“He’s gone now,” Evan put his hand on Chance’s. “He’s gone. You’re with me and I want you to be mine, but in time.”

  “Yours?” Chance raised an eyebrow.

“Oh, I probably sounded like I wanted to possess you or own you. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it that way.”

Chance smiled. “Boss, I want to be yours, too. I didn’t know if I’d want something like that. I don’t know if I’m ready for serious yet, but I’m ready for exclusive.”

“Already done, Baby,” Evan smiled. “And I do like it when you call me boss.”

Chance smiled. “What time do you need to be at City Hall today?”

“Not going there today. I have to set up my law office sometime this week. Why?”

Chance ran his hands up and down Evan’s arms. “Would it be wrong for me to ask you to fuck me?”

“That will never be wrong,” Evan said as he took the coffee cup from his hand and set them both on the nightstand. “Lay down, Baby, on your back.”

Chance lay on his back as Evan removed the blanket that covered his body. Evan slipped Chance’s boxers down his legs and tossed them in the chair. Evan brought his mouth to Chance’s and pressed it against his. He gently ran his tongue over Chance’s lips. Chance opened his mouth as he pulled in Evan’s tongue with his breath.

Evan ran his hands down Chance’s chest and followed them with his mouth. He gently nibbled on Chance’s neck and nibbled his way toward Chance’s nipples. He lightly swirled his tongue around Chance’s nipple and sucked hard. He looked up at Chance. “You like that, Baby?”

“Oh, god, yes, Boss,” Chance bit his lip as Evan moved his mouth down toward his navel. He lightly outlined the scar with his tongue. The black marker was long faded but the memory of it was there.

Evan wrapped his hand around Chance’s cock and squeezed it tightly. In one breath, he sucked his cock into his mouth as he ran his fingertips over Chance’s thighs and then under his balls. Evan slowly released his cock as it pulsed to get harder. He looked up at Chance. “Baby, roll over.”
