   Message from the Author
When I wrote The Lost Princess of Howling Sky, I fell in love. Building worlds is one of my favorite things to do as an author. This is why I write fantasy, asking what-ifs and setting down rules, it's exhilarating. Characters are just as important, though, and hell did I fall in love with those characters. I miss them to this day. Luckily, I have every intention of bringing them back. They won't be the main characters, but it'll be good.
As soon as I finished Sorissa's story, I knew I wanted to dive back into this world. There are so many possibilities, prequels and sequels. It was hard to decide which story I'd write next. I settled on From Blood to Ashes, a prequel. I hope you're excited for Adano and Lisette's story. I know I am.
Thank you for reading and for all of your support. You make this possible, and I can't thank you enough.
   About the Author
Kestra Pingree is a creative who doesn’t know how to stop. They are first and foremost a writer and storyteller with an endless library of books in their head just waiting to be typed. They are also an artist and animator, as well as a singer, songwriter, and voice actor. One day they swear they’re going to make their own video game, too.
If it involves creating, they are there.
They can also be seen cuddling their cat, reading, or playing video games.
