I placed Old Zhang’s corpse in my inventory. It could be said that he was my greatest benefactor, if it wasn't for him I'm sure I wouldn't have known how the 2nd Trial had erased me.
Next was Old Lin. Worthy of a beast master, he had tons of books regarding beasts. The most interesting thing I found was some weird bloodline on his space ring. It wasn't enough to upgrade my bloodline, but I was a little closer to breaking through because of it.

So I just threw everything Old Lin had into my inventory. I had to do the same for Old Wang’s things too. I didn't expect the System to be so slow with so many books... I should find a way to upgrade it.
I had the four old men’s corpses in my inventory, so unless it was necessary I wouldn't use them. Even if they were four old men their bodies were that of Nascent Soul cultivators, so they were quite precious, especially to me for fixing my body. Without a very dangerous situation at hand, I wouldn't use them, if I could avoid it I would, they did help me after all. Also now all of their stuff was mine, ha-ha.
I sat cross-legged and started to fix my body. I couldn't wait to breakthrough to the Qi Refining stage.

I ended up fixing my body and I was excited about using it. Not only could I reach the Mortal Realm peak now, now I will try to break through to the Qi Refining stage! Perhaps I might have enough points to cultivate my body to a higher stage... Muscle Tempering 1st rank.

So powerful. Thanks to the Cloud Strengthening Pill my foundation was strong. A normal Mortal Realm Peak would have 1,000 in strength. Yet thanks to that pill and my death bloodline, I had 3,000 jin strength, it also improved my cell structure. With the System, I had no problem upgrading my body cultivation, it was amazing.

Yes. Why even bother asking? For sure I would upgrade it! I could see my XP getting deducted, from the Death Core death energy flowed out into my body. Slowly but steadily twelve meridians were becoming visible on both sides of me. I could feel them, eleven of them were blocked, but there was one that was getting refined by the death energy. The thickness of that meridian wasn't something a normal cultivator would have, it must be also related to my bloodline. In fact, everything happened so fast, the process only lasted several seconds.

I was in a terrible mood even though I earned big this time, and became a lot stronger. It remained that this was insane, the quantity of XP I needed to upgrade my Qi was overwhelming to imagine. Just thinking about the XP the King Beast gave me... so far I would have to kill over 30,000 King Beasts to upgrade from a Qi Refining 5th rank to a Qi Refining 6th rank. This was too insane...
Three hours later I found the way to exit the cave, there was another puzzle to solve at the exit of the cave, lucky for me, I was a 2-Star Array Master so I could solve it with no problem. I couldn't imagine what would happen if I were to be trapped there... I did have all the time in the world though.
“Look he is out, he is out!” Yelled a young man. His cultivation was not bad, Qi Refining stage 3rd rank. But that was it... I was in a bad mood, they were here to retaliate for me hitting the Young Master Chen’s face. Without a doubt though, I will kill all of them. I kept walking towards that young man.
“Little kid, you are out! Huh?!” Young Master Chen was stunned that the kid who hit him was barely eight years old at most, yet this young boy walking outside the cave looked like the older version of the kid. The kid grew up in one week’s time... several years? The young boy in front of him was thirteen years old at least. Maybe it was his big brother?
Over twenty Qi Refining cultivators stood there looking at the young boy walking towards the young man who had yelled. Their faces showed confusion, didn't Young Master Chen tell them to gang up on a little kid? This wasn't a kid but a young man, yet they weren't young anymore. As experienced as they were, their guts told them that the older boy was dangerous, far worse than facing a King Beast.
“Boy! Stop right there our Young Master Chen was looking for you!” said the young man.
I stood there in front of him; I was looking at a dead man. I moved my hand and grabbed his head with one hand. The young man tried to avoid me grabbing him but it was in vain. He kicked me in the leg; I didn't feel it. With his strength attempting to fight my body strength it was useless for him to try and get out of my grasp. I didn't want to waste anymore time, so I exerted some of my strength with my hand and crushed his head into a pulp.

Young Master Chen became pale, he wasn't expecting this kind of outcome. He was just at the Mortal Realm 9th rank, and no
t even at the peak. This young boy was too ruthless. He was regretting coming here looking for trouble. The other Qi Refining cultivators’ thoughts were similar, this boy in front of them could easily kill them. They were sure of it; he crushed a Qi Refining 3rd rank with one hand and he used no Qi. This only had one meaning... something they didn't want to acknowledge, this young boy in front of them had a body cultivation that was much stronger than them! Body cultivation was hard, it ate too many resources, yet this boy had accomplished it. The young man who just died revealed these facts to them, no one will get kicked like that and feel nothing, not unless his body was stronger than the other party’s cultivation.
Two beautiful ladies suddenly appeared out of nowhere, the closer one had her hair over her shoulders while the other one had her hair tidied up, it was easy to notice that these two women were twins. Both had a perfectly shaped body. A few of the young men gulped, their eyes shone with a perverted light. Their body enticed them, yet they changed the moment they heard what both women said.
“Master!” Both women slightly bowed to him and stood close to him.
Are they cracking a joke? Both women belong to that young boy... Who the fuck will try to do something to them now? They just saw the boy, with one hand, crush the skull of a Qi Refining 3rd rank.
Actually, Shu Yi and Shu Er were both stunned, they knew their young master was the young boy in front of them, yet it was so strange. They hadn't seen each other for a few days and the change was so drastic. He changed from a seven year old kid to a thirteen-year-old young man. Both of their faces blushed, they stared at him; he was handsome and the appearance of a little kid totally disappeared... they could feel an attraction towards him. Give him a few more years, and many ladies would fall at his feet. At the same time there was something about him that made them shiver. Yeah it was those eyes, they were empty, with no kind of emotion. The perfect cold murderer.
“Hello... I'm Young Master Chen, from the Moongate City. Who might your excellency be?” The Young Master’s manner took a sudden turn.
“Ye Bai,” I replied coldly. I saw another young man looking at both of my women with perverted eyes. He was close to Young Master Chen, it seems he felt safe being close to him and because of that there was no need to show me or my women proper respect...
I sent an arrowhead flying; the force was so strong that the man's skull exploded and it also destroyed a few trees behind him. Young Master Chen ended up covered in that young man’s blood. The rest of the men didn't even see what had killed the man. It scared them to hell, there was only one thought in their mind, 'Run.'

I could see Shu Yi and Shu Er trembling, I looked over at these two beautiful women. I caressed both of their heads. There was something still inside me that was human. From that moment I accepted both of them, I couldn't watch them being bullied, that's something I had to endure in my previous life. My mother got bullied at work for the sake of raising me until she felt ill, and lastly died. As long as they had a relationship with me and didn't betray me nothing would happen to them. I set that firm resolve in my mind.
“Calm down your excellency. We brought no harm to no one. We were just waiting for the news on this cursed cave.” Young Master Chen tried to seem as innocent as he could. I know this scum of the earth is lying to me right now, I thought.
“Those men looked at my women with dirty eyes...” I said with an evil smile on my face. He thinks he can avoid death? Idiot.
“Yes, yes, they deserved to die. Hurry! You bunch of bastards knew what you were doing… get down on your knees and apologize to Master Ye.” How can Young Master Chen not understand Ye Bai’s intentions, he was experienced in relations with girls... it was clear that they were both his women. As a man, even if you were a young boy, you would not tolerate this kind of behavior. “Stop right there boy!” an old man appeared out of nowhere.
“Grandfather!” Young Master Chen stood. It overjoyed him to see his grandfather, earlier he was trying to buy time, he secretly crushed a token to notify his grandfather. This time he was lucky, he could escape, or that was what he thought.
“Old man. Move one step and I will kill you.” I said despising him. ‘Does the Trivial Qi Refining stage peak want to try and stop me?’ I thought as I readied my hand on scythe, prepared to murder both of these fools.
The old man didn't move. The imposing manner of this young boy was something he couldn't understand. Where did he get that confidence from? He was a Qi Refining 5th rank, nothing more. The old man didn't feel confident about this.
“Grandfather kill him, he killed all of our people, they were elites from our family!”
Upon hearing this the old man acted and unleashed a Qi Art.
“Wind Chained Fist,” the old man announced his Qi Art.
A serial of fists formed in the air through Qi. It had formidable strength, but it was insufficient. I released another serial of punches destroying his Qi Art. The poor old man stood there rooted, he didn't expect this kind of outcome. I walked towards him, the old man didn't move and it surprised me.
“Is there no way we can solve this? I have quite an influence in the city,” said the old man.
“Are they stronger than me?” I asked mocking him.
“This... No.” The old man replied truthfully. He was a man who didn't like to lie, so he said the truth. He didn't think the influence he had was stronger than the young boy that was in front of him.
“At least you are honest.” I pierced through his heart with my finger. There was no need to mutilate an honest man. I wouldn’t waste the materials in destroying this man to fix my body.
Young Master Chen fainted seeing his grandfather who just died in front of him in a mere few seconds. I didn't spare that piece of trash who had brought death to his own grandfather. I crushed his head with my foot.
Shu Yi and Shu Er’s mouths were O-shaped.
“Silly girls, what's so surprising? It is true, your master is amazing. Let's go.” I strode confidently out of the cave area exit. A newfound confidence had taken over my very being, my Death Core.
Chapter 53
Traveling
After killing and collecting all the corpses, they had nothing impressive on them. Pills, manuals, spirit stones, weapons all had been collected in my inventory and sorted out by the System. I didn’t have an explanation for everything, I didn’t even know what e
verything was, only by gathering more information will I know what exactly I had inside my inventory. I could learn arts that were not Qi attribute based, or they would have to have several attributes compatible with me. For example, there was this Thunder Shadow Movement Qi Art. Since I lacked the thunder part of it I couldn't learn it. Low Qi arts didn't enter my eyes, I didn't care about them as they had almost no effect on my strength. Besides, I have too rare of talents, so it is hard to find a suitable art for me. I was hoping the System would give me some more arts later.
“Oh, right I almost forgot.” I threw two peak profound swords to Shu Yi and Shu Er.
Both of them were surprised, they were not dumb; they knew exactly how valuable both weapons were and how helpful they would be in a fight. What surprised them was how their young master casually gave them away. They were slaves... they didn't deserve such weapons, yet he gave it away like that?
Shu Yi was the firstborn one, she had always been treated very badly by their mother, it was totally different for her twin sister. Shu Yi never understood why her mother treated her so differently even though they were born with only a few seconds difference. Shu Yi grew cold without affection, she was hardly moved right now, yet her heart felt so warm that she felt it would burn her. The feeling disappeared slowly... she was confused, What just happened?
“Thank you, Master!” Shu Er was excited, his voice reached Shu Yi, and she hurried to thank her Master.

It's been three months traveling already. It was a total pain in the ass; I killed many beasts yet it wasn't enough to level up, not to mention that many beasts once detecting me, ran as fast as they could. Many of them couldn't outrun me but if I had to chase them or pay any attention to them I would never reach the Imperial City. The twins had something in mind but it seems they didn't want to trouble me with it.
“Master!” The shout surprised me. I remembered and was thinking something about the System when they interrupted me. I unleashed my aura to get ready for a fight.
