Falling Into Love Page 15

by Selene Chardou

I could taste myself on his tongue and smell myself when his breath hit my nose after our kiss ended but it was beautiful, amazing and absolutely the most mind-blowing experience of my life. I had never made love to this man before and the feeling of intimacy could not be denied.

Our bodies were glued together and soon, I relaxed my legs before he turned us over and I continued to ride him but this wasn’t just ordinary sex and I wasn’t merely trying to sexually satisfy him. What we felt went all the way down to our scarred and tattered souls and reached inside and grabbed at both our hearts.

Every time his cock hit my womb, I felt a fullness that couldn’t be measured in any terms that seized my brain. I needed him inside me and he sat up, allowing me to hold him as close as possible. We kissed and caressed one another as my sensitive nipples pressed against his hard chest and I never wanted it to end.

My hips bucked against his body, drawing him farther inside me and I gripped him like a vice. He grunted but didn’t speak as I began to gyrate my hips and all that mattered was our physical pleasure equaled what we felt for one another emotionally. I needed that and so did he.

Soon, it was all too much and he lifted me off him before I sank onto the bed on my stomach. He pulled me toward him and entered me from behind and I sighed out loud. His thrusts were slow and steady as I found myself at the precipice, a cliff where I had no idea how far I would fall when he pushed me over. And he slowly urged me forward every time his cock moved inside me until I teetered on the edge.

I would not fall alone, I knew this much. My vaginal muscles tightened around his cock as he continued his physical assault on my body and with one final thrust that hit my G-spot at the right angle, I tumbled over and fell into an orgasm so deep and wonderful, my muscles squeezed with a life of their own and he groaned out loud this time.

I could feel his seed spilling inside of me as we continued to ride out our orgasms until nothing existed but the two of us: sweaty, exhausted, naked and using one another as support. He finally pulled out of me and lay face down on the bed before I climbed on top of him and rested my head on his muscular back.

“Promise you won’t ever leave me,” he mumbled as he used his strong arms as a pillow.

I kissed his back as I traced one of his many tattoos. “You know I won’t ever leave you, baby, so why do you even make me say it out loud? I love you so much and I couldn’t imagine you not being in my life.”

“Love you too, Syd…more than I have ever loved another woman. I want you to be by my side always and I would do anything to protect you. I’d take a bullet for you and die for you.”

My heart began to thump hard in my chest. “Honey, let’s just hope that never happens. I want us both to be around for a long time. I want to get old and ugly and wrinkled with you. I can’t do that if you’re dead.”

  “Shh, sweetie. Just rest.”

And that is exactly what I did as I fell into a deep, dreamless sleep.

  Chapter Thirteen

  Time Flies

AFTER DENMARK, THE rest of the European tour flew by and Kaz could almost feel how close they were towards the end. The only good part of everything going so fast was though he and Sydney and the guys missed intimate holidays, they would be returning home very soon.

Scandinavia finished without a hitch and the crowd loving Talia more and more every night. By the time they arrived in Helsinki, the fans looked forward to seeing Winter’s Regret as much as they did Scarlet Fever.

The concert in Dubai was worth every million they received but the crowd was more or less apathetic to Winter’s Regret, which was a pity because Talia improved on her stage presence with every concert she did and the cohesiveness of the group was better than ever.

Kaz couldn’t say he remembered much about the Asian leg other than he couldn’t wait for it to be over with and that was an understatement when it came to the rest of the band.

They were well received in China though Japan was the only bright spot in an otherwise dark period for them. Everyone was literally running on fumes and he felt bad because Australia and New Zealand were their last stops. Their performances were still good but certainly not top notch and he hated that.

By the time they arrived in Sydney, Syd was beyond exhausted. He was concerned though at least he didn’t have to worry about his sister, Misty, or Keren.

They’d left the tour after Copenhagen and flew to Belfast to stay with their aunt, his father’s sister, Moira. Although they were siblings, she and her brother did not get along at all. After Kaz spoke to Moira and sent a generous wire transfer to his aunt’s bank account, she didn’t mind the girls staying at all.

Their Australian tour dates included the a show at the Sydney Super Dome, the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne and the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. At each venue, they had multiple nights to perform including three in Sydney, two in Melbourne and two in Brisbane.

After they left Australia, Kaz was aware of a couple concert dates in New Zealand but he would face them when he finally got there. At this point of the tour, everyone, him included, was taking the rest of the tour one day at a time because to think too far into the future wasn’t a pleasant experience unless they were thinking about home.

Between the time difference and the heat, Kaz felt even more exhausted. It was summer in this part of the hemisphere and to go from freezing temps to weather over one hundred degrees was a bit of an adjustment.

The bands arrived at their hotel, the Sir Stamford at Circular Quay, late afternoon and after everyone settled in, Kaz and Syd agreed to meet all the band members, Laurel and Sasha for drinks at The Bar, the hotel’s local watering hole.

Syd walked into the Executive Suite Kaz had reserved for the two of them and collapsed on the sofa. He knew she was exhausted by the dark circles underneath her eyes. Both worried she might be pregnant yet again, she’d taken quite a few pregnancy tests in both China and Japan but they were all negative. Kaz had decided their hectic concert schedule had finally taken its toll and his poor, beautiful woman wouldn’t be able to survive the rest of the tour.

He didn’t want to broach the subject at that point and in lieu of talk, he walked into the bedroom, stripped off his clothes and took a hot shower. He rested his hands on the cool tile as his hair dripped clean water over his face and his eyes remained closed.

So deep in thought, he didn’t even hear Syd as she stepped into the shower but he did feel her naked body press against his. He turned around as she stood nude, her light hair turning dark as the water flowed over her.

Kaz didn’t mean to attack her but he pushed her against the wall and she responded with a moan before they kissed passionately. He spread her legs and slid his hand over her pussy before he began to work his fingers in and out of her, his thumb pressed against her clit.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and he immediately hoisted her up and sunk his cock inside her where his fingers had been moments later. Their sex was animalistic, hard and rough yet satisfying to them both. Her fingernails did their damage as they scratched down his back, leaving a trail of beaded blood to disappear as the water from several showerheads followed her decadent trail. She’d lost weight and he could hold her easily as he gripped her ass, his dick firmly inside of her.

“Fuck me,” she whispered his ear and he thought that command alone would bring him to the brink of orgasm.

However it was policy she always got off before him and he didn’t plan for this rule to change now.

The hot water rained over them, and he’d begun to feel light headed but he knew exactly how to turn up the pressure. He turned her around as her breasts pressed against the tile and he entered her from behind. She panted as he worked his cock deeper into her moist center and every time he hit her womb, he caressed the hard nub between the folds of her beautiful, tight cunt.

She flooded him with her juices as she came in a stream of moans and curses and his orgasm followed shortly after as he continued to pump inside her
until there was nothing left between them.

Syd collapsed against him as he cleaned her off with expensive soap, using his hands to clean the folds of her sex, her gorgeous breasts and underneath her arms before he traced her arms and tackled her long legs.

After she was clean, he washed her hair and applied the right amount of conditioner before he soaped himself down again and rinsed off. Then he proceeded to wash the conditioner out of her hair and finally turned off the shower.

The poor woman didn’t have the strength to walk out of the shower and he carried her before he sat her on the sink and dried her off. Her hair was in a towel turban and she felt her head before she collapsed into tears.

“What’s the matter, babe?” he asked. “We’re going to make it through this—we have to because I don’t think I can do the rest of this tour if you’re not here with me.”

“That’s not it,” she replied as she grabbed a wad of Kleenex and blew her nose noisily. “I can’t believe we’re in the city of my conception and it’s bringing out all these feelings of betrayal and anger. I hate my dad for what he did to my mother. Now he’s ruined what should be one of the best times of my life. This tour is almost over and soon, we’ll be back in L.A. I want to live in the moment—I don’t want to think about what will happen afterwards. I sure as fuck don’t want to think about the past either.”

He grabbed her used tissue and threw it in the trash can before he touched her face softly with gentle hands. “He can’t ruin anything for you unless you let that asshole ruin it. Your conception was twenty-four years ago and this isn’t exactly the same Sydney it was back then. Revel being in the city you were named after. Your mother had some great times here and she named you Sydney for a reason. It wasn’t to remind herself of what she lost but the beautiful, intelligent and remarkable daughter she gained. You are truly an amazing person and you don’t know it. That hurts me, baby.”

Syd looked up with expression-filled steel blue eyes. “I suppose you are right. I am just making a big deal out of nothing. Come on, let’s get dressed and get down to The Bar. I need a fucking drink.”

Kaz smiled and kissed her lips. “There’s my girl. Nothing is ever all bad.”

KAZ AND SYD were two of the first to arrive although Jaden and Talia had beat them. They’d gotten a table big enough to accommodate everyone. The two sat cozy, his tattooed arm wrapped around her neck as she laughed about something he whispered to her.

Now that neither of their respective spouses were on the tour and—ironically—both stashed away at Promises, they didn’t even bother to hide their togetherness.

Kaz didn’t judge anything his brother did mostly because he was no fucking saint and had done some pretty shitty things in his life. However, he was worried about how Jaden really felt about Talia because this went way beyond mere fucking. They reminded him of his early days with Syd when he realized he was falling in love with her. If that was the case between the two of them than this was a situation that carried major blowback for everyone involved.

“Jaden, can I have a word?” he inquired without bothering to sit down.

“Sure, but have your drink first. I ordered you a Macallan.”

Syd sat across from Talia and began to make small talk with her as Kaz downed his scotch and set the empty glass on the table. “Let’s go.”

Jaden kissed the edge of Talia’s mouth before he stood and followed his brother out of the bar. They walked out to the patio area where smoking was permitted in a teeny, tiny corner. Both men lit cigarettes and dragged hungrily before they exhaled.

“What’s this about, bro?” Jaden wondered out loud.

  “How’s Misty?”

“She’s good but our old man is giving her trouble. He knows she’s in Belfast with Moira. I think he’s going to send Cillian over but that is iffy with a trial hanging over his head. He shouldn’t leave the country—the judge, knowing his record, probably made him hand his passports over to the court anyway.”

“Couldn’t he potentially travel on his British passport? The judge took the American and Irish passports but probably doesn’t know he has a third citizenship.”

“He could but he’d be flagged entering the country when he came back. Judge knows he left and might consider him a flight risk. That would mean he’d spend the remainder of the time up to and during his trial in lock-up and he’s not going to want to depend on the Aryan Brotherhood while he’s inside. Not when there is an active war between the Saints and the Knights. Other than Cillian, Dad can maybe trust Duff and Ripp to do the right thing but…seriously, they should let her come home when she’s ready. She is taking care of a baby that is eight weeks old. She can’t just hop on a plane and leave any time she gets good and ready. I really think she wanted to stay until Alanna was at least six months old.”

“That’s not gonna happen, not if Dizzy has anything to do with it.” Kaz dragged on his cigarette again as Jaden pulled out his Samsung Galaxy Note and started showing off pictures of their niece.

“Look at that—she inherited Misty’s eyes. Doesn’t even look like she has a touch of the tar brush. She’s gonna be a heart breaker when she grows up.”

He took the phone and scrolled through the photos Misty had sent Jaden. Alanna was a beautiful and precious infant who would grow into a pretty girl, an attractive teenager and yet an amazingly gorgeous young woman.

Although Misty’s daughter had inherited her coloring and eyes, he could see Drake in the child as well and although the guy was a complete and utter douchebag, he was good looking and his features complimented well with the Cox family features.

“So, why did you pull me out here? I could have showed you these photos inside. Besides, I want to get back to Talia—”

“Yeah, that’s part of the problem.” Kaz sighed before he stared into the amber eyes of his half-brother. “You’re committed to Faith and she’s committed to Seth—both whom are holed up in Promises at the moment. What do you plan to do when this tour is over and you have to make good on the commitment to the woman already in your life? Have you thought that far ahead, Jaden?”

“Listen, I am just living in the here and now. I don’t want to think about Faith and all that shit that will hit me when I get back to L.A. Unlike you, I enjoy being out on the road and I particularly love spending time with Talia. I don’t know what I would have done without her. In case you haven’t noticed, I’m clean. Seth’s overdose sobered me the fuck up. Yeah, I drink but I take my Adderall and that’s it. No Oxy and no cocaine. I haven’t lived this clean in years.

“Granted, I was never a hard core druggie until the American leg of the tour but I will confess to getting high every weekend and if I was having a lot of fun, sometimes my activities spilled into the weekdays as well.” Jaden paused and dragged on his cigarette before he put it out. “When I am with Talia, she makes me high on life, man. I have never felt so incredibly content except when she holds me in her arms and sings me to sleep or we’re just kicking back, watching television. Hell, at this point, it isn’t so much about sex as it is companionship. We understand one another and I appreciate that about her. I honestly don’t know what I am going to do when the tour ends, Kaz.”

“Sounds like you’re already in love with this girl. What about her relationship with Kris?”

“What about it? They’re friends and that’s it.” Jaden stuck his phone back into the pocket of his army-green cargo shorts. “Everything is so fucked up right now because I truly wish I’d met her before now and gotten to know her. We could be happy together—I know that now—but I will go back to my obligations and she’ll go back to hers.”

Kaz touched his brother’s shoulders and gripped them hard. “But will you be happy with Faith or are you going to be a miserable prick like our dad? You gonna be stickin’ it in every chick out there to make up for not being with the one woman you want? That’s no way for anyone to live, bro.”

Jaden’s amber eyes looked away. “I don’t have a fucki
ng choice, Kaz. I’m not you. Faith is pregnant and I am not some deadbeat pussy—I’m not that piece of shit, Drake, who left my sister with his kid and didn’t give a crap about what happened to either one of them. That isn’t me. We have codes we adhere to in the club and one is that you take care of your family.

“I still love Faith in my own way and being with her is no hardship. Sometimes I think we hurt each other too much for us to ever have a real and truly fulfilling relationship but our child has to come first.” He glared at his brother squarely in the eye. “Talia understands that and she would never let me leave Faith. We’ve already discussed this and she’s made up her mind. Once Seth gets out of Promises, she’s going back to him.”

Kaz let go of his brother and patted him on the back. “She won’t leave him until he tries to kill her. What the fuck kind of hold does he have over her? She still won’t abandon him after everything he’s done to her?”
