Chapter 5
“Hello?”
Tully held his phone to his ear as he worked on a little paperwork.
“Tully.”
He swore under his breath. It was Cathy again.
“Number one, how did you get my number? Number two, why are you calling me? I think I made it pretty clear that I didn’t want to talk to you again.”
Tully ducked out back. All he needed right now was for Shelly to see him on the phone and start asking him questions.
“Well, see here sweetie. A few things have changed now. I found out about your little girl toy, Shelly is it? It would sure be a shame if she found out about me, wouldn’t it? I hear she’s the jealous type. I can make things really difficult for you, Tully. But it doesn’t have to be like that. You help me out with my little cash flow problem, and this can all be forgotten.”
“Not gonna happen,” Tully stated. Who the fuck did she think she was, trying to blackmail him?
“Oh, you make the mistake of thinking you still control me Tully. You have nothing over me. I know how insecure this new bitch of yours is, and it would be easy as anything for me to push her out of your life.”
Her voice was gloating, and Tully wondered what he’d ever seen in her.
“You’re an evil bitch, Cathy. How much?”
“I need 10,000 dollars.”
“What the fuck? Whatever crack den you’re living in these days don’t cost ten grand a month.”
“Let’s not get caught up in the details, Tully. Give me what I want, and you can go back to your happy little life and forget any of this ever happened.”
“I can see that I really didn’t know you at all when we dated,” Tully growled.
“No you didn’t.”
“Give me a couple of days,” Tully eventually said. He needed some time to think, to come up with a plan.
“You have until Friday, that’s two days. After that I can’t be held responsible for what your little girlfriend hears.”
Hanging up the phone he walked back out front. He was not happy at all.
“That bitch.”
Chapter 6
Shelly saw Tully as he came out from the back of the bar. He didn’t look happy, but she was busy and figured he’d let her know if something was wrong.
The bar was heaving with people, and she had plenty of men trying to grab at her. One guy was continually trying to reach over and rub her butt as she walked by him.
Finally, she’d had enough and turned towards him.
“Look I’ve asked you nicely several times already, but I’m done being nice. See that guy over there, you know, Tully? He’s my boyfriend, and if you don’t stop trying to touch me I’ll go over there and tell him. He’ll make sure one that you don’t walk out of the bar, and that you never come back.”
The guy looked at her and smirked.
“Maybe he would.”
Shelly was so mad that she went right over to talk to Tully to have him stop the guy.
“Hey you see that guy over there. He keeps trying to touch me.”
Tully looked at the guy then at her.
“I’m sorry Shelly. Not right now, OK?”
Shelly looked at him. Normally at this moment he’d be ready to go pound the guy, but this time he just sloshed his whiskey in his glass and looked despondent.
She crossed her arms with indignation.
“Did you hear what I just told you?”
“Yeah I heard you.”
“Well are you gonna do anything about it?”
“You can handle it, you always do.”
He took the last swig of his drink.
“I have to go.”
He stood and just walked out.
Shelly stood staring at his back. She couldn’t believe him! What was going on with him?
She thought about it and wondered why he’d be like this to her? Then it all made sense. He had found another woman. Another girl, just like the other bikers, and that meant he’d already started to lose interest in her.
Chapter 7
She walked out a little later, glad the day was over. She was so confused about Tully. Shelly had thought maybe he would come back nearer to closing time and they would leave together, like most other nights. That he’d come back and apologize for being so abrupt beforehand.
But he never did.
This just cemented in her mind the fact that he must be seeing another girl on the side. Shelly thought about it. This had been the first time he hadn’t been there when the clubhouse closed up.
Not always would they go and make love, but most of the time they did. Shelly wondered if at this moment he was with another woman, making her scream like she did when he fucked her. The thought tormented her.
Getting home, she tried calling him and he didn’t answer. She sent him a message and hoped he would respond, but when she was tossing and turning later in the bed there was still no message.
Shelly’s heart was breaking. She hated to jump to conclusions, but what else could she do? He had never been like this before. If they were apart and she called he would answer. If he was unable to answer right away, he would call her within the hour.
But now here she was some three hours later, and nothing from him. The tears ran down her face. How had this happened? Why would he seek the comfort of another woman when she was willing to give him everything?
She didn’t know and couldn’t figure it out. All she knew was that she simply wanted to go in and tell him she wasn’t working there anymore. She wanted to throw things at him, hit him for breaking her heart.
Eventually the tears slowed down enough and she fell asleep, but her dreams tormented her. In them she could see him kissing another girl, running his hands all over her body.
“Tully what are you doing?” she had cried out in the dream.
“What does it look like?” he had asked her, his face grinning and clear of any guilt. “She’s my side chick.”
“I thought you were different!” she had yelled.
“Babe, you couldn’t tame me, no one could,” he had laughed.
She had run away from the view of him making love to the other girl, and woken up tears streaming down her face. She checked her phone and saw there were no messages, and no missed calls. Her heart broke even more.
Chapter 8
Tully had left the bar to figure out how to pay Cathy off and get her off his case. He really didn’t need for Shelly to know that his ex had popped her ugly head up out of the past.
When she had come over to tell him about the guy touching her he hadn’t been paying attention. Maybe he should have gone over and beat the guy’s ass, but his thoughts had been on getting the money together and getting rid of Cathy once and for all.
The longer she was in town the better the chance that she would simply be wicked and tell Shelly some lie. Tully knew that Shelly was jealous, but he wasn’t sure how much of what Cindy said she would believe. It would be best in his mind to avoid anything like that happening.
He saw his phone ring and looked down it was Shelly. Tully really wanted to answer the call, but he was talking to a friend about borrowing the money, and he just knew his voice would sound guilty if he talked to her.
Later when he read her text he thought about answering it. But again, he just didn’t know what to say. She had asked him what was wrong, but to explain would be too complicated, and he hated to lie to her. Better to wait until it all blew over.
He managed to get the money together, and then left his friend’s place. He counted it out, and it pained him to have to resort to this to keep Shelly in his life. To resort to paying a bribe just so that Cathy would keep her poisonous words to herself.
Once and for all he hoped she would be out of his life. Once she was gone, he could focus on his future with Shelly.
He smiled, thinking of what it would be like to pop the question to her. He wanted to see her eyes light up and to hear her say yes. That was the image he kept in his mind as h
e drifted off into a restless sleep.
Chapter 9
Shelly woke up in the morning, and the tears were still streaming down her face. That horrible dream was still fresh in her mind, and she struggled to shake those horrible images away. She grabbed her phone and when she saw that there was no message, her heart sank again.
As she was putting it down though, the phone rang and she answered.
“Hello?”
“Hi you don’t know me, but I know Tully. If you want to know what he’s been up to, come to the clubhouse at 11 this morning.”
It was an unknown female voice.
“Who is this?” Shelly demanded, but heard the click of the caller hanging up.
Shelly didn’t know what she would do if he was cheating on her. She might beat up the other girl, but most likely she would just fade away, leaving him wondering where she had gone.
She threw on her clothes and hurried up. Getting to the clubhouse she pulled up and began walking up the side of the building. As she got closer she could hear Tully, and peeked around the corner as she hid behind some bushes.
Though she couldn’t hear a word, she didn’t need to. She saw Tully talking to a skinny woman with platinum blonde hair. He was holding out some money and the girl took it and leaned over and kissed him square on the lips.
Tears sprang into Shelly’s eyes. It was too much for her.
She stood up and ran off; she didn’t want to see him ever again. How could he have done this to her?
Jumping into her car she started the engine and tore away as fast she could, tires squealing. She wanted to get as far away as she could. Tears were streaming down her face and her breath was coming in shallow gasps. She was heartbroken, how could he have done this to her?
Her mind was closing down and she saw nothing apart from the blurry road that she was trying to navigate.
“Why Tully, why?” she screamed in anguish.
Chapter 10
Tully handed the money over to Cindy, a sick feeling in his stomach. Suddenly she moved in and kissed him before he had time to react. He was completely taken aback, and pushed her away after a moment. He saw her laughing and looked behind him. He saw Shelly crying and running towards her car.
“What did you do?”
He turns on Cindy.
“Nothing, just made sure your girlfriend saw me kissing you. Have a happy life.”
She spun and walked off with the money, a wicked smile on her face.
Tully ran to his bike, his only thought being to catch up with Shelly. He needed to tell her what had really happened, that she had it all wrong.
Jumping on his bike he could just see her car in the distance. If he pushed it he could catch her quickly.
Pulling up along the side of her car he yelled at her.
“Pull over Shelly!”
She looked over at him and shook her head. She pressed down on the gas pedal and pulled ahead of him.
Tully came up on the other side of her car, closer to her window.
“Please Shelly, pull over! We need to talk!”
She looked directly at him, tears streaming down her face.
“I’ve seen everything I needed to, Tully. I don’t have anything to say to you.”
Tully shook his head. All he knew was that he had to stop her, had to tell her the truth. He loved her, and he wasn’t going to let her get away.
Finally, he gritted his teeth, pulled on the throttle, and screeched in front of her speeding car, slowing rapidly.
She had two choices: stop, or kill him. If she stopped Tully would take that moment to talk to her. He really hoped she wasn’t mad enough at him to simply run him over.
He closed his eyes for a second then stood his ground. He heard the squeal of her breaks and watched as her car stopped an inch from him and his bike.
Chapter 11
Shelly slammed on her brakes. No matter how mad she was, she knew that she couldn’t hurt him.
He jumped toward her door and pulled it open.
“Get out, Shelly. I got stuff I need to say to you.”
“How could you betray me like that, Tully? Why would you? What did I do?”
Tully looked at her, and she frowned to see the pain that was in his eyes.
“Tell me now,” she demanded.
“It isn’t what it looked like. Listen to me. That was Cathy; she’s an ex of mine and she was black mailing me for money. She kissed me - I didn’t kiss her.”
Tully was damn near pleading, a first for him. He looked sincere, but doubts still crawled around in Shelly’s mind.
“Sure that’s a likely excuse. ‘Let’s tell Shelly this lie, she’ll believe it, she loves me’,” she spat.
“Just listen to this.”
He held out his phone and hit a button.
As Shelly listened she heard the voice of a woman.
“So if you don’t give me the money I’m going to tell her all kinds of things. I’ll make up something really bad. She’ll leave you and you’ll never see her again.”
“Why are you doing this to me?” Shelly heard Tully say, despair in his voice.
She heard a wicked laugh on the recording.
“Well Tully because I can. After all, you’re the one who left me when we were dating. So why should you get to be happy now?”
“I left you because you cheated on me with three of the guys, you fucking psycho!”
“That doesn’t matter. Now she’ll think you cheated on her and that will be my sweet revenge.”
He turned off the recording. Shelly looked up at him, her eyes still unsure.
“Please Shelly, I love you.”
He knelt down in front of her and pulled a box out of his pocket.
She looked down at him, her face a picture of shock.
“Oh my god, what?”
Shelly knew at this point that Tully was never doing anything wrong. She knew he loved her.
“Will you marry me, Shelly?” Tully asked, his gravelly voice softer and more uncertain than usual.
“Oh Tully…yes! Yes, I will!”
She leaned down and pulled him into a hug.
They heard people clapping and turned to see they had drawn a crowd. Shelly turned red, noticing for the first time how she’d stopped traffic by how her car was placed.
But no one seemed mad, Tully and Shelly even heard a few people yelling out “congratulations!”
“Let’s go.” Tully grabbed her and led her to the car.
“Where are we going?” Shelly asked, the shock of the proposal still clouding her thinking.
“To the clubhouse.”
Tully pushed her into her car and went to his bike.
“Come on, follow me.”
Shelly followed him, taking moments to look down at the amazing ring he had put on her finger. There were two tiny and well detailed roses on the sides of the diamond. She smiled. It was so beautiful.
Pulling up in the parking lot she got out of the car and went to Tully. He pulled her to him and kissed her.
“Come on.”
Going inside he stopped right by the door and yelled out.
“Everyone out now, the clubhouse is closed!”
“What, man? Why?” he heard from the crowd of men.
“Doesn’t matter. I’m the one in charge and I said it’s closed, now get out!”
Shelly turned red as the men got up and grumbled about having to leave while they walked past her and Tully. He held her hand the whole time and didn’t say a word to the men. He’d made his feelings clear, and knew that he’d be obeyed.
As the last man walked out the door Tully locked it and pulled down the shade.
“We don’t need any prying eyes,” he laughed.
Again she turned red.
“Prying eyes for what?”
“Oh you know what! Don’t pretend you don’t know. Our first time ever was right here in this bar. Now that you’re going to be my wife, well, we’re gonna relive that night. Here’s the tabl
e right here!”
He pounded on it with a meaty fist.
“Get over here now,” he demanded.
Shelly went to him. Looking up at him she saw the love in his eyes.
“Shelly you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Please don’t forget that. And never forget that you are the only woman that I ever want.”
Tully bent down to kiss her.
She opened her mouth, willingly allowing him access. The kiss was fierce and full of passion. He forced his tongue into her mouth and she moaned loudly.
Tully touched her lightly on the breast as he probed her mouth. Shelly melted into him more, pushing forward on him.
He pulled away from her and looked into her eyes.
“I love you Shelly.”
“I love you too Tully.”
Shelly pulled him forward towards her and lay back on the table. Thankfully they already knew it was sturdy enough to hold up to their love making. But this time he was much gentler with her.
He slowly entered her with his hard cock, thrusting it in and out at a slow pace, looking down into her eyes. He never let his eyes leave hers; he wanted to see how she looked as she became more excited. He wanted to see the look on her face as her orgasm was getting close.
These were the things he was looking forward to for the rest of his life. Tully pushed forward again slowly like before.
Shelly moved to meet his thrusts and relished the feel of him inside of her. She moaned as he continued to go slow and steady. His motions soon had her close to a climax.
Tully could tell she was nearing that point; he wanted to push her over it, to let her feel the ecstasy that he knew she had when she orgasmed. He grabbed her nipple and twisted it hard how she liked.
Shelly screamed and thrust her pelvis up onto his hard throbbing shaft. He felt her juices as they poured out of her.
Tully wasn’t done yet, and he really wanted her on top. Shelly climbed on top of him and lowered her snatch onto his waiting prick.
