“It’s disappointing that he wasn’t the honorable man I believed he was. My father could’ve been a resource for you.”

  “Uh, my dad’s actually a doctor … a pediatrician.”

I swallow the instant knot that forms in my throat.

“He’s a doctor? Shit, he’s a doctor. What will he think about this?”

“He doesn’t have to know … at least not now.”

“That means you’re worried about what he’ll think.”

Jason shakes his head. “No, I’m not. Look, I’m here for you. No one is judging you. You’re awesome, and I’m determined to make sure we’re awesome together.”

I sigh from how amazing he is.

“Thank you. It means the world to me that you’re being understanding. This is the monumental reason I’ve had my guard up for so long, and it’s nice to feel like I can trust someone again, particularly a man.”

Squeezing my hand, he grins. “You’re stuck with me, babe.”

  Jason

While helping Laurel clean up the mess we made in the kitchen, I dwell on what her father did. I’ve grown angrier with every passing minute, wishing I could pound the shit out of him.

Who does something that despicable? Yeah, I’ve slept with a lot of women, but I’m not a deviant, and I’ve never once forced someone to do something against their will.

He’s the lowest scum on earth, and I can’t stand how he hurt Laurel, causing her world to come crashing down around her.

From here on out, I’ll be the man she counts on; the one who helps her replace bad memories with good ones. I’m determined to make my girl love pie again.

“Hey, you,” she says to me, swatting a dish towel at my arm. “Why are you moping? I even washed the greasy pan so you wouldn’t have to.” She giggles, and it’s the best sound ever.

“I’m sorry. I’m just pissed at your dad and wish I could pay him a visit in his jail cell.”

“What’s that song from the movie Frozen? “Let it Go”?” She begins singing the chorus, and I think about how much happier she’s been since I burrowed my way into her life.

I search for a smile, but it’s difficult to find one amid the anger I’m feeling toward the man who broke her heart.

Laurel tosses the towel on the counter and grabs my hand, pulling me behind her to my bedroom. Clutching my arms, she directs me to the side of the bed where she yanks down my sweats.

My cock begins to harden as I realize what’s happening. Gripping my shoulders, she pushes me down on the mattress to a sitting position before dropping to her knees.

“I’m going to give you a blow job, and you’re going to have a grin on your face when I’m finished. Your brain is going to forget all my troubles. Got it?”

Grinning like a damn kid on a new bike, I nod. My sexy librarian is full of surprises this weekend.

Scooting closer, she tilts her emerald eyes up to meet mine and taunts me with a salacious look. She takes my stiff-as-nails cock into her hand and strokes it twice before sliding her lips over it.

I hiss from the arousing sensations as she takes me inside her mouth deep and sucks firmly while dragging her lips back upward.

Her fingers skim over my testicles that are already coiled tightly, and as her tongue swirls around the tip of my cock, I clench her head and push down, dying to have her mouth take me deep again.

Moaning, she grants me my wish and sucks my dick, her sweet mouth covering my entire length. She gags but doesn’t stop until her lips are at the base of my shaft.

“Fuck, yes. Make me come in your mouth.”

Laurel sucks me off, her speed increasing, and as her head bobs, mine is drained of its blood. I’m left dizzy like I was last night.

She eases up, but it’s only for a second, like she’s pulling me back, withholding my orgasm. And once she sinks her lips over me again, it’s my undoing. I explode, shooting my cum forcefully into her mouth.

The pleasure leaves my body spent. Laurel pulls away, and I fall onto my back, trying to feed my lungs and brain much-needed oxygen.

Is there anything she doesn’t do well? I should’ve known the feisty over-achiever would be challenging to my stamina.

“Come here,” I utter under my breath. She crawls over my body and lies on top of me. “Your hospitality is unprecedented. Why was I living with a dude before you?”

Working her arms around my neck, she laughs against it, and damn, I don’t think I’ve ever been happier.

  CHAPTER SIXTEEN

  Jason

Colton answers the door after I knock.

“Hi, stranger,” he says with a smile before stepping aside for me to enter.

  “Hi.”

“Bro, what’s up?” Summer asks from where she’s sitting on the couch.

“Nothing. I thought I’d stop by since I haven’t talked to you guys much.”

My sister gives me a knowing smile.

“Could it be because you’re spending so much time with your new roommate?”

I scowl at Colton. “I guess this is how it’s going to be now … you sharing my secrets.”

Colton crosses his arms. “I didn’t tell her shit.”

“He didn’t.” Twirling a piece of her blond hair, she swings her leg that’s hanging over the couch as she rests her ass on the other one. “You’d never live with a chick unless you really liked her. I know it. You don’t even like to be around females unless it’s for one thing.”

I roll my eyes. “I’ve changed, and how can you still say that? I’ve been a lot nicer to you and mom for a while now.”

“Yeah, I guess so. Who’s this mystery girl?”

I walk over to sit in a chair at my sister’s right, so Colton takes the spot next to her on the couch.

  “Her name’s Laurel. She’s a senior, and we’re…” I look away from them. I don’t know how to say she’s my girlfriend. “We’re dating–exclusively.”

I glance to my sister, and her eyes widen.

  “No way. Like a relationship?”

  “Yeah.”

“Holy shit. You’re living with your girlfriend.”

I roll my eyes again. “Yeah, I’ve already put two and two together.”

“Seriously, I’m happy for you, Jason. Where is she now?”

“Working… I have a question.” I can’t help but look away again. “She’s got some personal stuff going on, and I think it’d be good for her to get away this weekend. Do you think it’s too soon to invite her to Savannah?”

Colton chuckles. “For having never been in a relationship before, you’re moving fast, man.”

“I know, but I don’t want her sitting home alone this weekend while we’re gone.”

“If you’re sure you’re not going to break her heart afterward, take her,” Summer says, “but if this isn’t serious, it’ll give her the wrong idea for sure.”

  “It is serious.”

As Colton scratches his head, he grins.

“Why are you smiling so much?” I ask.

“This is all too weird. I’m glad you’re seeing someone, but it’s strange to see you look so damn–what’s the word I’m looking for?”

“Vulnerable,” Summer says. “Yep, that’s it.”

“Look, I don’t want to talk about it. I only wanted your advice about taking her to Savannah, and what you said makes sense,” I reply, looking at my sister.

“You really are changing. I can’t wait to meet her.”

“Hopefully, you’ll get your chance this weekend.”

“Now, we need your advice.” Summer’s eyes flit to Colton and back to me. “Do you think it would be best if Colton and I tell Mom and Dad together that we’re in a relationship, or should I break the news to them before he comes over?”

“Tell them together. They’ll respect Colton for not leaving the job to you.”

Colton runs a hand over his dark hair.

“I don’t know why this is stressing me out so bad.”

  “They
’re going to be fine with it, but if an issue arises, I’ll diffuse the situation.”

  “Thanks, bro.”

  “No problem.”

  Laurel

Please, start this time. I turn the key on my Civic, but all the engine–or transmission–or whatever the hell is falling apart does is mock me while sounding like it has a bad smoker’s cough.

“I’m sorry I make fun of you. I’ll never talk about your age again if you’ll just start, dammit,” I whine.

I turn the key again, and this time it does nothing. “Oh, now the silent treatment. Screw you, too.”

I sling my head back against the seat, but then I become paranoid about being alone in the dark campus parking lot. Fishing my phone from my purse, I call Jason.

“Hi,” he says, answering after the first ring.

“Hi. My car won’t start. Do you think you could pick me up?”

  “Sure. Are you OK?”

“No, I’m not. If the repairs are expensive, I won’t have enough money to fix it.”

“Maybe I can get it running. If not, I’ll help you cover the cost.”

“I can’t let you do that.”

“Stop being difficult, and let me help you. It would mean a lot to me.”

“I don’t know. I’m going back in the library. Text me when you get here.”

“I’ll pick you up at the door.”

Strolling back to the library, I wait inside the main doors. It’s Tuesday night, and I’m tired, stressed and don’t feel right taking money from Jason.

Having him around to take my mind off my father’s sentencing has certainly helped, but as the day in the courtroom approaches, I feel the tension building. I’m ready to put the past behind me.

Seeing Jason’s Charger pull up, I walk outside. I open the car door and get in, and that’s when it hits me that I don’t have my backpack.

“Hi,” he says. Leaning over, I give him a kiss, and feeling his warm lips on mine gives me instant butterflies. Our relationship is so new that I get excited just thinking about him.

“Hi, I forgot my backpack in the Civic.”

“I’ll drive you over there and see if I can fix your car.”

“It’s dark, so it’d be hard to see anything. Would you have time before class in the morning?”

“I’ll make time.” Jason parks beside my vehicle, and I retrieve the items I need. Once I put them in the backseat of his car and get inside, he laces our hands and squeezes.

  “We’ll get this sorted out.”

Resting my head back against the seat, I look over at him.

“You’re sweet. I don’t know how I’d get through this week without you.”

“Speaking of this week… I’m going to Savannah this weekend to celebrate my birthday with my family. Colton and Summer will be there, too. We’re leaving Thursday afternoon, and I wondered if you’d want to go with me.”

  “Your birthday is this weekend?”

  “Yeah, Saturday.”

“I’m sorry, but I can’t go. I work Thursday evening, and then I have my father’s sentencing Friday morning. I do have the weekend off. I put in for it weeks ago after I found out the date of his court hearing.

“I figured I wouldn’t be up for working. Shit, maybe I should see if I can get some of my shifts back. I’ll need the money now that my car’s broken.”

“I told you I’ll help you with your car.” Bringing our entwined hands up, he kisses mine. “Why don’t I go to the hearing with you, and then we can drive to Savannah together? It might be a good escape for you, and I’d love it if you were there with me.”

“I don’t want you to go to my father’s sentencing, and you deserve all the time you can get with your family.”

  “Laur—”

“Look, I appreciate you wanting to be there for me, but you’re my future. I don’t want it tainted with my past.

“Besides, I need to focus on being there for my mom that day, but … if it doesn’t cost much to fix my car, I’d love to drive down afterward to be with you.”

Even though it’s dark out, I see the way his face lights up.

  “You’ll come?”

“Yes, of course.” Leaning over, he plants his lips on mine. Wanting a distraction from the problems I’m dwelling on, I deepen our kiss and move in closer.

He slides a hand in my hair and grips it as he probes every inch of my mouth. Our passion ignites, our desire overruling my worries, and I need that yearning to take my pain away.

“I want you,” I mumble against his lips. “Please, can we mess around? I need an escape from all the bad shit.”

  “Right here?”

  “Yes.”

“Baby, you never have to ask. You use my body whenever you want it.”

“Feeling as close to you as possible is what I’m after.” I pull away, and once I’ve kicked off my flats, I unbutton and unzip my jeans.

Lifting my butt, I shimmy my pants down my legs and remove them, but I leave my panties on for fear someone could catch us.

“Shut off your car and headlights.” After doing as I instructed, Jason moves his seat back. I reach over and undo his jeans before he even has time. He yanks them down his legs, and with urgency, I climb over and straddle him.

“Thank goodness your sporty car is more spacious than most.”

  Cradling my face, he smiles.

“Does my good girl remember that campus police could roll up on us?”

“I never claimed to be a good girl.” I feel his hard cock press against my throbbing pussy before he sticks his hand between us and rubs me through my panties.

“Christ, you’re already soaked.” He hooks a finger around the satiny fabric and pulls it to the side. I start to lower myself onto his cock, but it hits me that he’s not wearing a condom.

“Shit, do you have a condom?”

Lifting the lid on the center console, he quickly roots around for one. He hands it to me, and I open it. As I slide it over his long shaft, he squeezes my hips.

“Fuck, I can’t wait to be inside you.” He moves my panties aside again, and I sink right onto him. He flings his head back and clenches my hips as I use his shoulders to push down, allowing him to bury his cock as far as possible.

I ride him fast, and it’s exactly what I’m craving. I need him to fuck me. The thrill. The risk. The feel of his dick pounding into me.

We’re panting as I bounce above him, and it doesn’t take long for Jason to tense up and come inside me. As soon as he rides out his orgasm, he shoves his hands into my hair.

His tongue sweeps over my lips, and I open my mouth to let him explore it. He teases me with faint strokes of his tongue and gentle kisses to the corners of my mouth.

As he suckles my lower lip, he slips his hand under my sweater and pulls down the cup of my bra to play with my tit.

My need to come increases tenfold, especially once his other hand slips between us to rub my clit. Slow languid strokes … circular pleasure...

I rock forward and back against his semi-hard cock and whimper with need.

“Come for me, Laurel. The erotic expression on your face when you orgasm is a fucking sight to see.”

He rubs firmly while tugging on my nipple. I lean my head back, and he sucks on my throat, his tongue retracing each of his sensual steps.

Ohhh, the pleasure to my pussy, my tits, and his scorching mouth on my skin… I can’t hold on a second longer.

  “God, yes.”

“That’s it. Come on my fingers.”

His words cause me to erupt. His touch is incessant, providing me with never-ending pleasure. The sensations are almost too intense, and I jerk my head back to suck in a breath before collapsing against his chest.

He manages to get his hands out from between us, and encasing me in his arms, he hugs me like he can’t get close enough.

  “You’re perfect, baby.”

I shake my head against his neck.

  “I’m not.”

You’re perfect for me.”

  CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

  Jason

My phone rings while I’m watching the sports channel with my dad. Seeing Laurel’s name on the screen, my heart rate accelerates.

“Hey,” I say as I get up to go somewhere private.

  “Hi,” she says.

  “Are you doing OK?”

“I guess as good as can be expected. He got thirty-four years, but he could get released much sooner for good behavior. He might get to sleep in his own bed before he dies after all.

“Enough about that, though. I wanted to tell you I’m already on my way to Savannah, and the car’s running great. Thank you again for helping me fix it.”

“You’re welcome, but if you have any trouble at all, you call me.”

“I will. I’ll see you soon.”

Strolling back to the family room, I sit on the couch. My dad’s in his recliner, staring at me.

  “Everything all right?” he asks.

“That was Laurel. She’s on her way here. I can’t wait for you and Mom to meet her.”

He smiles. “You really like this one.”

  “Yes, I do.”

“Your sister’s still young, but it seems like a good time for you to find someone.” He points his finger at me. “But continue being careful, son. A baby would screw up medical school, and we can’t have that.”

“Dad, really? I think it’s a little late for us to have the talk.”

“It’s easy to get careless when you’re in a serious relationship.”

“I’ll continue to be careful, so let’s drop it already.” I think about the other night when Laurel was straddling me in my car.

If she hadn’t thought of the condom, I probably wouldn’t have until she was wrapped around my cock.

I’m sure I would’ve noticed then, and I can’t say I don’t want to feel what that’s like–sex without a barrier between us. I’m gonna get a boner if I don’t think about something else.

Dad must feel like Summer’s too young for a relationship. That’s a problem seeing how she’s already in one with Colton.
