Finding Katherine (Katherine Series: Book One) Page 4

by Kaitlin Summers

"Mmm, you know the way to my heart. I can't function in the mornings without some fat clogging up my arteries." Katherine says before drinking from the cup of black coffee that is on the end of the tray.

"I sure do." Jack replies. "What do you wanna do today?"

"Don't start that whole what do you wanna do today thing! You know what I have to do." Katherine says solemnly.

"I don't even get to keep you for a couple more hours?"

Katherine shakes her head, "I haven't even started packing yet and I have to be at the airport in 3 hours."

Jack sits down next to her and buries his head into the crook of her neck "OK."

Katherine eats some of the breakfast before turning to a glum Jack and kissing him gently on the lips. "How can I resist that face? ...I guess I can manage ten minutes."

"My, my, my!" Jack pouts, "Whatever can we do in ten minutes?"

"Why don't I show you?" Katherine answers before stripping off his clothes and moving her head towards his growing penis. Katherine is eager to take charge this time after letting Jack do most of the work the previous night.

She makes him hard and wet using her mouth quickly before gently easing herself down on top of him. She moves up and down on him slowly at first and increasing the speed and depth as they sink more into the amazing feeling building inside.

Her tongue in his mouth soon turns to naughty whispers in his ear and this is almost enough to drive Jack over the edge. He grabs her by the hips to thrust into her deeper, Katherine moans out load and his fingers dig into her back as they both cum together.

They lay there for a few moments to catch their breath, sweaty and entangled, to savor the feeling of their bodies becoming one for the final time.

A short while later, Katherine returns to her room to meet up with Jacqueline and to pack up her suitcase. She finds Jacqueline in the midst of saying goodbye to her holiday flame - massage man Juan. She sighs and slumps on the bed as she hugs him and he leaves the room.

"Urghh, Katherine. I don't wanna go home."

"You and me both" Katherine replies as they hug briefly.

"Was this the vacation of a lifetime or what?"

"It was amazing Jac. Thank you so much for bringing me. I can see everything so much more clearly now..."

"Are you going to see him again?"

"I hope so. I mean we live seven hours apart but all I know is I've experienced more in the last couple of weeks than I did with years of being with Tony. I've never been so happy."

"If it's meant to be, things will work out." Jacqueline says, offering her friend a sympathetic smile.

"Maybe." Katherine replies unsure if she is right. She starts to pack her summer memories away and prepares to go back to the cold harsh reality of everyday life.

A short while later Katherine is at the airport and her plane just about to board, ready to take her back to Boston. Jack has met her there as agreed and they are making small talk at the gate to avoid the actual reality of their situation. It is the first time that the conversation between them has been a little forced.

They were leaving one another and both were trying to hide how devastated they were at that fact. They exchange emails, telephone numbers and Facebook details with promises to stay in touch on both sides.

  "I'll poke you I promise."

"You've already poked me, several times." Katherine laughs confused.

"I meant on Facebook! I didn't know someone who looked so sweet and innocent could have such a dirty mind."

"You ain't seen nothing yet!" Katherine says, smiling. Katherine holds up her wrist to Jack. She had attached the parachute charm onto the front of her bracelet.

Jack smiles, "I'm glad you like it."

"I never gave you anything to remember me by..." Katherine trails off as the final announcement is made for her flight to board.

Jacqueline pulls Katherine by the hand, "We have to go hun, come on."

Katherine turns and starts to walk away before turning around and jumping into Jacks arms. While kissing him passionately, her hands play with his messy hair and come to rest on his face.

With her legs wrapped around his waist, he breaks off the kiss before looking into her eyes, "I couldn't forget you in a million years."

Sitting on the plane, Katherine is quizzing Jacqueline about Juan and the time that they spent together in the Bahamas.

"We had so much fun." Jacqueline says, "He was a breath of fresh air, you know?"

  "Will you see him again?"

"Nah, we had a great time and I liked him but not really so much that a relationship can come of it. Plus he's shorter than me."

  "So?"

"I could NEVER date a man shorter than me. I would feel like a total beast."

Katherine laughs at her friend and Jacqueline gives her a certain look that tells her that what she is about to say next is going to be dirty.

"So erm...how is Jack?" Jacqueline says as the friends both burst out laughing in unison.

"Either Tony was really shitty in that department...or Jack is the best on earth. Seriously, I did not know that it was possible to have so many orgasms." Katherine whispers, aware of people around her hearing about her sex life and not really one to talk so openly about things like that.

This causes further laughter before it ceases and Jacqueline puts her hand on her chest and asks seriously, "How does he make me feel?"

"He makes me feel like there’s somebody out there who finally understands me. He makes me feel like I can fly. He’s made me find a part of me that I didn’t know existed." Katherine stares out of the plane window as she does fly quite literally further and further from the man who makes her feel like anything is possible.

Later that day, Katherine is back in her apartment in Boston with a whole host of things running through her head. On the one hand she is on cloud nine. She has had the most amazing vacation that she could have possibly envisioned, met the most thoughtful, gorgeous man and had a holiday romance that would make the cheesiest of movies look like die hard blockbusters.

On the other hand, Katherine is a realistic type of woman and knows that a long term relationship can be very hard to handle. With 7 hours between Washington and Boston and them both having very busy jobs, despite the bond they experienced - she can't see anything long term coming out of it.

She remembers the state that she was in two weeks ago, yearning for a man who broke her heart and laughs out loud at its memory. Katherine lies back on the couch and closes her eyes, remembering the time she spent with Jack especially the night previously. She can literally feel his hands running down her body, his breath on her neck and his lips on hers.

What she wouldn't give to be right back in his bed right now. Katherine's phones beeps and she smiles as she sees a text message from Jack, who she has affectionately named in her phone book as 'my parachute man'.

"Did you get home OK beautiful?"

Katherine knocks out a quick reply, "Yes but missing you already. I was just thinking about last night...it's making me kind of hot."

An answer comes through almost immediately saying, "Hot? Do tell me more! I miss you too and we'll figure something out."

Katherine's grin almost reaches her eyes. Maybe this can work after all she thinks as she begins to text something dirty back to Jack. There is a knock on the door that disturbs her and she swiftly goes to answer it, her mind still on other things.

The door swings open and she sees her ex Tony, staring at her hopefully with a bouquet of red roses in each arm.

  "Hey baby."
