  “Is that so?”

  Bradley nodded, moving closer to her on the couch as he placed a blanket over both their laps, then letting Reginald settle on top of it. “Anything for you, Gwendolyn.”

  “Then I’m the luckiest woman in the world,” she cooed as he placed his hand at the back of her head to gently guide her lips to his own.

  As the fire sparked in front of them and in them, Bradley knew that even though his life wasn’t what he had envisioned for himself, it was exactly what he needed. He had a beautiful woman to love, a loyal canine companion, a baby on the way, and a strong house built in a town that he could finally call home.

She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in English from Bethany College and was the Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper while there.
