"It's the middle of the afternoon," he protested weakly, seeming to have devised my plot.
"The best time there is." I pushed him through the door to our bedroom, stripping the robe from me as I went.
It took him seconds to comply and his shirt landed on the floor next. With a year's worth of knowledge about each other's bodies, we crawled onto the bed, neither of us saying a word.
Leo's lips pressed against mine and I arched my naked body into his, desperate for his touch. His hands trailed over my skin, leaving a wave of heat in their wake.
We didn't wait. This wasn't about long drawn out intimacy. This was passion. He grabbed a condom from the bedside table and slid it over his cock.
I licked my lips, causing him to chuckle. He leaned in, his hot breath tickling my ear. "Maybe later," he promised.
"I'll hold you to that," I replied. Right now, I was too anxious to have him for anything else.
He positioned himself between my legs, his cock hard against my thigh. Anticipation was not my friend this time and it left me in a needy mess.
I clawed my nails over his bare shoulder, feeling the flexing muscles as he thrust into me.
Crying out, I tipped my head back. He was hitting just the right spot inside me, the one which made me squirm and whimper with every moment. We soon got lost in the moment, our skin slick with sweat our breathing so shallow it was barely there.
Pleasure built inside me and I knew it wouldn't be long until it took me completely. And I would give in instantly.
"Let go, Sadie," Leo murmured against my ear.
I whimpered. I loved it when he talked to me during. He thrust into me harder and I rocked my hips, meeting his every moment.
He trailed his lips over the soft skin of my neck, kissing and nibbling between his bated breaths.
My thoughts blanked and my vision darkened as the pleasure coursed through me, taking me higher and higher until it was too much and crashed back down to earth. I was vaguely aware of Leo inside me reaching his own heights but that didn't matter in that moment.
Collapsing down onto the bed next to him, I threw my arms around Leo and snuggled into his chest, murmuring sleepily.
"I love you, Sadie."
"I love you too," I replied, my voice sounding hazy even to me.
I could sense the smugness within him but ignored it. I loved him and was ready to become his wife.
And to be his princess.

Sweet About Me - Prologue
Nerves fluttered in my stomach as I turned the key in the door of my new café. I was taking a massive risk by opening up Sugar & Spice. But even though I went through four years of a biology degree, my real passion was baking; and now I was pursuing it. Taking a deep breath, I pushed open the door and stepped inside. Flicking the lights on, I looked around the room. Dust covered every inch of it, but I barely noticed. All I could see was my dream.
Cosy chairs and sofas, the smell of coffee and cake, and my asymmetric bookshelves across the back wall. My plan was to fill the shelves with an eclectic mix of titles, many of which I’d read myself. It was both for the aesthetics of the café, and so my customers could have something to read. I’d been lucky that my family were well off enough to invest in something as risky as a business run by someone as new as me, so I knew that I had to work hard in order to pull this off.
I climbed the stairs hidden in the alcove at the back of the kitchen, and entered the flat upstairs. Well when I say flat, I was being generous. A bedroom just large enough for a double bed and small wardrobe, and a kitchen-living room combo. There was also a small bathroom off the bedroom, though it wasn’t big enough for a bath, much to my disappointment.
Within moments I knew that it wouldn’t take me long to make this place home.
