Get Out Of My Dreams (Joe the Magic Man Series Book 1) Page 7

by Allan J. Lewis

Alice said goodnight to Special Agent Burrows, closed the door, and turned to John with a blank expression on her face. “Well, what did you make of that?”

“I felt guilty, like a criminal in the dock, and she was the lawyer grilling me.”

Alice nodded. “She doesn’t mess about, does she? And, I think she knows a lot more than she told us.”

“She told us nothing different from the other two agents, but now, I’m even more confused about this Magic Man.”

“Me too. I had the feeling she felt sorry for Old Joe, and that she admired him, somehow.”

“Yeah,” agreed John. “I had the feeling Jefferson wants him dead before he does something awful, but Burrows didn’t give that impression.”

Alice heaved a big sigh. “They don’t know if Old Joe is a bad guy or a good guy.” She shook her head. “It looks like the only way they are going to catch him is through us.”

The Magic Man had been in Alice’s mind and listened to every word of the meeting with Burrows, and realized how much the Government wanted him caught. Agent Burrows had career woman written all over her; she did things by the book, and she was going to try to catch the Magic Man by using John and Alice. The Magic Man had to make plans to make sure that never happened, and that meant using John and Alice to throw the FBI off his trail. By having them give the agents the false information he would plant in their minds, the FBI would think the Magic Man was playing right into their hands. He felt sorry for John and Alice; they were pawns being used by both him and the Feds.

Joe, as he had now decided to call himself, settled back in his bed. He glanced at his watch, it was 12:30 a.m.––Alice should be asleep by now. Tonight, he was going to take her on one of his fantasy dreams, just for fun, and he wouldn’t delete it from her memory as he had done the night before she first dreamt of the prison. He hoped the next day she’d see there was no harm in the dreams, and that he never wanted to hurt her. Most women Joe took on his fantasies, he would erase their memories, and they wouldn’t even know he had visited them in their dreams. He wanted Alice to know they were just silly dreams he made up as he went along. He wanted her to know they could be fun.

Joe closed his eyes and concentrated on Alice’s mind–– that’s all it took––just seconds––to get into their minds and dreams once he had contacted them. She was asleep, and dreaming about taking her work to her editor. In Alice's dream, she was panicking because she was late for work, and her skirt was creased. She was ironing it when the doorbell rang. Alice answered it to find Old Joe there with a pile of children’s books in his hand. Her dream changed straight away. She forgot about being late for work, and ironing her skirt had gone out of her mind as Joe took over.

“Hi Joe, what are you doing here?” Alice’s first thought was that Horse had sent him to fetch her. Her stomach turned over, half excited, and yet nervous at the same time. Then she noticed he didn’t have his prison officer’s uniform on; he wore a grey suit, white shirt, and a pale blue tie. He was looking stylish.

“Is that coffee I can smell?” Joe asked with a big grin. “Yeah, would you like a cup?” Joe sat at the kitchen table and placed the books down. She read the title of the top book. “SLEEPING BEAUTY … your granddaughter’s books?” Alice asked curiously.

“Yes,” Joe lied, “I borrow them now and again.” “Why are you here?” Alice forgot about making the coffee; she sat down opposite Joe instead. “You said that you’d get out of our dreams and leave John and me alone.”

Joe gave her his wrinkled smile. “I said I’d get out of John’s dreams, and I have. I won’t trouble John anymore; I think he’s learned his lesson. He’ll look in the car’s mirror before he changes lanes in the future. And don’t worry––you’ll have your panties on in the morning, and John will have his shorts on.” Alice couldn’t help feeling a little disappointed, and it surprised her that she had been thinking of going to visit the prisoners again. “Then why are you here, in my dream, if you’re not taking me to meet the boys?”

Joe still couldn’t believe she could talk to him like this. Alice was talking so matter-of-factly. Maybe it was because he had gone deeper into her subconscious than he had with his other subjects. “I’ve come to talk to you.”

“I know what you want … you want to know what we said to the Feds.”

“Yes.” Usually, he had to prompt his subjects into asking or answering any questions within his dream world, and then help them to play out his fantasy, with him suggesting what to do next. But Alice was different. “Yes, that’s right, Alice. I can call you Alice, can’t I? It’s better than Mrs. T.” Joe couldn’t figure out how Alice knew she was dreaming, and that intrigued him. “Yeah, you can call me Alice; I didn’t really like Mrs. T.” “Good then … Alice … I’d like you to tell the Feds that I’m not a dangerous man, and that they shouldn’t think of me as a threat to this country.”

Joe went on to tell Alice a pack of lies about his past life, hoping it would throw the Feds off his trail, or at least give them other leads to follow when she retold them Joe’s life story. “Okay, Joe, if you are such a law-abiding citizen, how come you get into people’s dreams?” she said with a mischievous glint in her eye. “And then, you get them to make love while you watch from afar––if that’s all you say you do.”

“I’m afraid that’s something I’ve been doing since I was fourteen and started liking girls; I can’t see me stopping now.” In Alice’s dream, Joe gave her that wrinkled old smile again. “I’ve worked my magic on men and women for a long time––some, I’ve let remember their dreams, but most of them don’t recall any details.” He spread the books out on the table. “These are fairy tale books, and they can help me work my magic. I’ll take you on a fantasy trip, and in the morning you will remember every little detail.”

Alice looked at the books: SLEEPING BEAUTY, SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS, CINDERELLA, and ROBIN HOOD. “What … you’ll read them to me?”

“No … pick one up and have a look at it.” Joe fanned his hand over the books.

Alice picked up SNOW WHITE. She looked at the cartoon picture on the cover of the book, of Snow White laying the food on the table for the dwarfs. It was a long table, and Alice noticed there were ten chairs around it. The setting was in a cave, and in the picture the seven dwarfs were coming down the stone stairs behind Snow White. “I remember this picture. The dwarfs are coming home from work, singing, aren’t they?”

“Open it, Alice, and see if it’s as you remember.”

Alice opened the book. A drawing of a steep mountain was on the first page, and there was a wooden door right in the middle of the hillside. On the opposite page was a picture of the bedroom belonging to the dwarfs and Snow White. The room was long and carved out of the rock. There was one large bed in the middle of the room, and three smaller ones on each side of it. Alice noticed the bed in the middle had a lace curtain draped over the headboard. She pointed it out to Joe.

“This must be Snow White’s bed, so how come there are only six little beds? Are you saying that one of them is sleeping with Snow White?”

“Why don’t you open that door and take a peek?” Joe knew Alice saw him as a pervert, a Peeping Tom, so he wanted to show her there was no harm in what he was doing.

Alice noticed the door in the drawing had a ring handle, so with her finger and thumb she pulled it open, expecting it to be like a pop-up book. But, to her surprise, the door opened and grew in size at her touch until it was spacious enough for them to step through. Before she knew it, she had stepped inside without Joe having to tell her to. Joe followed, and then led her into the main cavern where Snow White was putting an enormous plate of roast pork on the table. Suddenly, Snow White came to life and looked at Joe and Alice. She gave them a welcoming smile. “Joe! What a joy to see you again, it’s been such a long time.” She ran and gave Joe a hug.

Alice had goose bumps. Snow White was as tall as Alice, her waist
like the centre of an hourglass, but her breasts and hips were as ample as Alice’s. She didn’t know if Snow White had grown in size, or if she and Joe had shrunk to her size. The smell of the pork made her feel famished.

“This is my friend, Alice,” Joe said, his voice echoing in the cavern.

“How are you, Alice? Would you like to join us for supper?”

“Of course they’ll join us for supper.” Doc shoved his glasses back up the bridge of his nose and waddled over to them on his short legs, with the other six dwarfs hurrying behind him. “Hi Joe, it’s about time you paid us a visit.”

“Hi boys,” Joe said with a wave of his hand, “this is my friend, Alice.”

“Hi there, Alice,” they all said in unison. The echo rebounded off the walls.

“Hi boys!” Alice couldn’t believe she was talking to cartoon characters that had just come to life. It’s only a dream, she told herself. Dopey, who was the last one to come down the stairs, ran up to her and took hold of her hand. He had thick, little fingers, but his hands were warm and felt as real as her hands. His head came up level with her bust.

“The pretty lady can sit next to me.” Dopey led Alice to the table, and as if by magic, their plates were all full of roast pork and vegetables swimming in thick gravy. Alice started eating right away, and when she finally put her knife and fork down and looked up, she saw they were all waiting for her. She was the last to finish.

“Thank you, Snow White, I think that was the best meal I’ve ever had.” Alice felt silly calling her hostess Snow White.

Dozy yawned. “I’m ready for bed.”

Snow White looked at Joe. “You can stay the night if you want to…”

All eyes were on Joe. “We’re not in a hurry, are we Alice?” He smiled slyly.

Alice could feel the excitement in the air. Dopey was giving her a pleading look, and all eyes were now on her, waiting for her answer. How could she even think of disappointing a lovable character like Dopey? “I don’t know what to say…” Before Alice could say another word, Dopey was up and holding her hand again.

  “Please, pretty lady, say yes.”

Alice told herself, again, it was only a dream. She might as well play along; after all, she didn’t want to upset Dopey. “I guess it would be all right.”

Dopey pulled her from her chair before she changed her mind. “This way, pretty lady, I’ll show you my bed.” He pushed the bedroom door open and took her to the third bed down the line, with Doc and the other dwarfs right behind them, and Joe and Snow White following last.

“This is my bed tonight,” Dopey pointed to his bed, and then he pointed to the bigger bed next to his where Snow White slept, “and that will be my bed tomorrow night.”

Doc shoved Dopey out of his way, and said, “That was going to be my bed tonight.” Doc smiled at Snow White as he pointed to her bed: “But I guess Joe can sleep there tonight.” Dozy said, “This is my bed tonight.” He stood by the second bed and pointed to Dopey’s bed: “That will be my bed tomorrow night, and then the next night, I will sleep with Snow White.”

Alice had figured out that they all took their turns sleeping with Snow White, and Snow White was blushing like mad. Her face was crimson.

“Okay, settle down boys,” Snow White scolded amiably, and they all fell silent as she made her way to the front, holding Joe’s hand. “Alice, this is my bed, and Joe’s, so you can pick any of the others.”

All the beds couldn’t be more than five feet long, but she had to pick one. She smiled at Dopey. “I guess I’ll pick this one.” Dopey jumped up and down. “Yes … yes … thank you, pretty lady.”

“Then it’s settled. Now, all of you turn in.” Snow White spoke with an air of authority, and they all started to undress. “What about me?” Doc asked. “Joe’s got my place.” “Pick any bed you like,” Snow White said with a knowing smile. “But there’s room with us if you want to join us; Joe won’t mind.”

Doc smiled at Alice and pointed to Dopey’s bed. “I’ll sleep here tonight, with you two.”

So this is the Magic Man’s plan, Alice thought, as she watched Dopey and Doc race each other to get undressed first. Dopey won. He stood there, naked, with a huge erection. Doc fumbled to put his glasses on, then stood just as proud next to Dopey.

Oh well, Alice thought, I might as well join them. She started to undress, as did Joe. Snow White stood there, naked, looking at Joe as he dropped his pants. Joe had an erection, but it was not as enormous as Doc’s or Dopey’s. Snow White slipped into bed, and Joe followed. The five other dwarfs all put nightshirts on and then sat on the edges of their beds, watching. Alice stripped naked, not feeling the least embarrassed. She was the last one to crawl into her little bed. As soon as she lay back, Dopey had a handful of her breast, while Doc started kissing her thighs. She looked across to Snow White. She was shamelessly climbing astride Joe who was lying on his back and looking across at Alice.

“So this is how you get your kicks, is it Joe?”

Joe was miles away in his bed, enjoying every single moment of their fantasy. But Alice was talking to him, knowing he was watching from afar. That spooked him. He almost lost his concentration and let his fantasy slip.

“Just go with the flow and see where it takes you. Enjoy it, Alice, not many people can say they’ve been in an actual fairy tale, not with Dopey and Doc.”

Alice could see and hear Snow White getting herself all worked up. “Yes … yes … oh, Joe, yes!”

She looked over to the other beds––the rest of the dwarfs still watching the action. Doc’s kisses reached the top of her open legs, igniting a fire in her belly.

Alice knew she was on another fantasy trip, as she had been with Vince, Tony, and Horse. The seven dwarfs aren’t as good looking as the three prisoners were, but, what the hell, they certainly are well-endowed!

Joe was enjoying their fantasy just as much as Alice, and had lost track of time. The sudden sound of a door opening made Joe snap out of his fantasy, just as he had gotten the five other dwarfs to come and stand around Alice’s bed, with their erections sticking out from under their nightshirts like tent poles. They all had hungry smiles, and praised how lovely she was. Joe had planted the idea in Alice’s mind that they were all hoping she would allow them to join in, and they were patiently waiting their turn.

Alice shot up in bed and looked around for the five dwarfs. “Oh my God, what a dream that was!” She checked under the sheets. She still had her pajamas and panties on. She checked that John still had his shorts and t-shirt on and that there was no empty condom packet. She looked at the clock. It was 4:03 a.m. She lay back and fell asleep right away, saying to herself, it’s only a dream.

  Chapter10

Alice woke before John. The fantasy dream came back to her, and what Joe had asked of her. She went over it in her mind, and she couldn’t think why she should help

him, but she also didn’t want to be the one who helped the FBI catch him. The idea Joe had put in her mind, of him being locked up like a lab rat, with government scientists making him use his gift to do whatever the government wanted him to do, didn’t feel right to Alice. He’d be like some freak doing their dirty work, and the thought of Old Joe not getting to see his family was too much for her, so she had decided to help him. Plus, his fantasies were only silly dreams. Last night had been like being in a Walt Disney film––an x-rated one.

She laughed to herself and snuggled up in bed, and didn’t wake John. As if dwarfs could have cocks as big as they did! The picture was clear in her mind of the five dwarfs standing there watching Doc making love to her first, then Dopey mounting her from behind. She was enjoying it, and so were Joe and Snow White, and she wondered why the dream had ended so suddenly. She had a feeling she heard a door open, and that was what had awakened her, or did the door wake Joe? Otherwise, she was sure the other five dwarfs would have had their turn. She smiled to herself and whispered, “Alice, you naughty girl.”

  With a girlish giggl
e, she replayed her dream in her mind and realized Joe had let her remember it in every detail as he said he would. It was just a silly, sexy dream. Nevertheless, how he got into her mind and made her dream of making love so willingly to Dopey and Doc baffled her. This must be the way he has his kicks with other women, and Joe wanted to show me. If he didn’t, he would have erased it from my memory. The door opening woke Joe and me. Perhaps they’ve got separate rooms, and his wife came in, or one of his grandkids wanted a drink. Whoever opened that door spoilt it for five horny dwarfs! The smile was back on Alice’s face as she waited for John to wake up. She wondered what would have happened next if she hadn’t woken from the dream early. She realized having a sexual fantasy with Doc and Dopey was childish and silly, whereas her fantasy with the prisoners had been more realistic, other than their oversized cocks. Joe had let her into his world, but she wondered––if it’s his fantasy, why did they all have big cocks except for Joe?

  ~

Alice couldn’t wait to tell John about her dream, where she talked to Joe just as if he was in the kitchen with her for real. Over breakfast, she told John all about Joe’s childhood, but she didn’t say too much about her silly fantasy; she didn’t know if she should tell him about that yet, so she just stuck to Joe’s life story. They spent an hour or more weighing up whether they should help Joe, or not.
