Rock Harder: A Heavy Metal Romance (Slava Pasha Series Book 2) Page 12

by A. D. Herrick

Fully dressed in a pair of jeans and one of my t-shirts that she artfully tied in a knot at her side, Evie watched me pack. “Where are you off to next?” “Glasgow, Scotland. We will be there for two days before heading to France.” I looked over my shoulder to gage her response. Her eyes met mine. Her eyes sparkling with mischief. ”Fancy some company?” I froze. “Did you just ask if I would like some company?” Her cheeks flushed. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to over step.” I rushed over to her, cutting her off as my lips landing on hers. I cupped her face in the palm of my hands. “I would fucking love it if you could come.” A smile split her face. Evie squealed as he bounced in her seat. She took my face in her hands and began covering it with kisses. I laughed as I pulled away. ‘Contain yourself woman.” I joshed.

“Do you think you could be ready by ten?” I asked skeptically. Evie rolled her eyes. “Of course, what kind of woman do you take me for?” I arched an eyebrow. “I take you for a normal woman, which means you will need at least ten hours to pack in which you will swear you left everything you needed at home. While lugging eight suitcases around.” She playfully swatted my arm. “Oh hush you. I will have you know, I am a professional.” I scoffed. “We will see woman. We will see.”
