  I looked at all the guns again. The cops were still shouting at me, but I couldn’t hear them. One officer was walking towards me with his palms facing me talking in calm soothing words that sounded to me like jibberish. It was like I was in a dream.

  “If God is dead than what happens when we die?”

  The pastor smiled at me. The expression was about as far from holy as you could get.

  “Why don’t you find out?”

  “You first, charlatan.” I pulled the trigger and so did they.

  WRATH JAMES WHITE is a former World Class Heavyweight Kickboxer, a professional Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts trainer, distance runner, performance artist, and former street brawler, who is now known for creating some of the most disturbing works of fiction in print .
