“I’d hoped. Enough talking Lady Randall. Let me help you remove that gown.”
“Reece, I believe you. You are a wonderful man when you want to be. I noticed how kind you were to my father and aunts. I cannot wait to start our new life together,” Lilly said with hope and happiness in her eyes.
“I can’t wait to start trying for that first son, or daughter again, as long as they are more like you, less like me,” Reece whispered pressing his lips to her forehead.
He unfastened her gown, took down her hair and ran his hands through it. He smelled her neck, and kissed her ear. He gently turned her in his arms and just held her.
Lilly felt his hard chest, his uneven breathing and grinned. She put her hand over his heart and felt the rapid beating.
“Do you feel it?” Reece asked, kissing her hair.
“Yes, you love me,” Lilly confirmed, feeling blissful and alive.
“I do, I love you Lilly, my beautiful wife.”
Lilly smiled, thankful to be loved, to have a passionate husband, to realize her dreams after all.
“I love you Reece, I believe we will be happy.”
“I know we will be,” Reece replied, kissing her soft lips and realizing he was finally complete.
