I stood up and looked around. I wondered if Harkzak harbored any weapons up here for defense purposes. I needed to find something that I could protect myself with.

The screech happened again, a warning signal that raised the hairs to attention on the back of my prickled neck.

“What the fuck is that noise?” I threw open the cabinets in the kitchen and found a serrated knife.

I looked down at the white knuckle grip I held on the bottom of the knife. I tried to keep it in place from the sweat building on my palms and my hands were involuntarily shaking with fright.

I edged my way out onto the balcony, my legs heavy with caution. Deep labored breaths sent chills of panic up my spine.

The noise was getting closer and I still had no idea what it was or where it could be coming from. I knew it must be an animal because it didn’t sound like a person.

Out of the corner of my eye, a dark figure flashed beside me. I whipped my body around and slashed at the air blindly hoping that one of my jabs would slash at the perpetrator.

I heard the swooping sound of wings and the screeching wail was so close to me now that the sensation of my eardrums bending surged inside me.

Okay, so it must have been some sort of predatory bird thinking I was going to become its dinner or something.

Instinctively I threw myself into a fetal position. My body became a collapsed ball in a heap. I shivered through my core as my muscles flinched in the corner.

I was unprepared to protect myself out here in the wild wilderness on a planet I had no familiarity with.

I was afraid to look up because I was too frightened for what I might find there. I was on a foreign planet, I had no fucking idea what types of wildlife roamed around these vast open spaces and I didn’t want to find out either.

Another roar made me recoil and cower even further. It was primal, animal in nature.

“Lucy!” It was a male voice, one that knew my name.

Wait, what’s happening? That sound rang a resonation within me. I knew that voice from somewhere.

I tried to break through the barrier of delirium that quickly filled my frightened mind. Everything went blurry and fizzy and I was certain I was in the middle of the swell of a panic attack.

Before I could react, heat on my skin squeezed me and I was in the air in a split second. With dread, I opened my eye to see what kind of creature had kidnapped me now.

I wasn’t in pain. Whatever had a grip on me wasn’t trying to hurt me.

I grimaced and held my breath. Bracing for whatever I would see on the other side of my closed eyelids. I opened them both instantaneously and held my breath, bracing for impact.

The first thing I saw was the trees bouncing past me in the sky, leafy green limbs and leaves waving at me as I passed in a blur.

I looked down and saw that it was Harkzak carrying me. His jaw was strong and handsome. His eyes were casting a dark and mysterious shadow over his face, but he looked determined about something. He was probably endearingly trying to rush me to safety.

“Harkzak?” I tried to sit up, but his force squeezed me in from his tight grip. My voice sounded like a croaking frog.

“Lucy!” he exclaimed and stopped running with me at once. He gently nestled me onto the ground, laid me on a plush selection of grass.

It was as if he was surprised to see me observant and aware of my surroundings.

“I’m so sorry. I guess I just happened to see you at the right moment before the Gila Monster got you.” He stroked my cheek with a huge, blue thumb.

His brow furrowed, making the bead of sweat that had formed on his skin visible. Clearly shaken by the experience, his eyes darted left and right suspiciously. It was as if he were afraid that we might be attacked again from behind if he wasn’t careful.

“What’s a Gila Monster?” I sat up on my elbows, confusion sweeping through me, my heart trying to plateau down to a normal beating.

The name made me shiver and tremble with mystique and fright.

“It’s like a large flying lizard. I’m so sorry. Sometimes they run wild and there’s no way to determine where they’ll land. They love the smell of human meat. I got there just in time before it swiped you into its talons and dragged you away.”

He wiped the bead of sweat from his brow, leaving a mark of dirt across his forehead. It made him seem even more rugged and handsome to see him dirty. He looked like Indiana Jones or something.

He was panting hard and still looking around suspiciously.

“Are you kidding me? You mean to tell me I might have died just now? Why the hell would you tell me I could go alone to the treehouse any time I wanted? Were you trying to get me killed on purpose?”

I was shrieking in panic, unable to see the bigger picture for the moment that he had saved me from being the meat of some wild monster bird.

His face collapsed in horror. He was genuinely upset to see me angry with him.

“No! Of course not, Lucy. It’s extremely rare to see a Gila Monster. They aren’t native to this area. I have no idea where it came from. Like I said, sometimes they run wild. I never would have ever in a million years expected to find one out here in my forest.”

I dove into a meek attempt to stand up. My legs felt wobbly, my knees were weak. My insides felt like jelly, but I was so grateful for Harkzak’s sweet save before I got ripped to shreds by some vicious creature.

  “I’m sorry…” I trailed off. “I was just…scared. That’s all.” I glanced up at him with a regretful expression.

Harkzak gave me a weary smile. “Don’t worry about it. I know you are overwhelmed here.”

“Thank you,” I whispered and attempted a smile back. “It’s nice to hear you admit that.”

“Come on. I’ll carry you back to the house.” Harkzak lifted me once again, noticing the difficultly I was enduring trying to remain upright on my own.

  __________

Later that night after an extremely warranted hot shower, I sat in front of the stone fireplace in my bedroom. I was happy to be inside in a more cozy and inviting environment.

I brushed my long blonde hair with a sterling silver comb I’d found in the bathroom. Each stroke of the comb against my hair was careful and calculated, slow and deliberate. I stared into the hottest part of the fire, completely entranced by it.

  “Hello.”

I jumped nearly ten feet in the air. After the breath came back into my lungs and the rush of adrenaline plunged out of my extremities, I looked up to see Harkzak standing in my room.

“Holy shit you scared the living crap out of me,” I protested with a giggle and held my hand to my galloping heart.

“I’m sorry, Lucy. I just came in here to talk to you if that’s alright?” His feet took a weary shuffle in my direction.

His face looked apprehensive as if he were afraid of offending me and wanted to stay on my good side. He was letting his tough exteriors slide like the mud, which I took to be a favorable sign.

  “Sure.”

I shrugged and went to sit down on the bed. I was wearing a halfway see through dark red lacy nighty, because there were only slutty outfits in the drawers of this bedroom.

Having Harkzak see me this way gave me both a sense of heat and embarrassment all flushed together at once. I was vulnerable and exposed.

“I’m sorry about everything, Lucy. I didn’t mean to hurt you by showing you the Looking Eye. I just wanted you to ride out your options with me.”

He sounded kind and warm, like he genuinely wanted to please me and make me feel better.

I admired his apology and salivated over his delicious six-pack washboard abs. He wasn’t wearing a shirt and he looked insanely hot. I wondered if he was purposely trying to entice me.

“It’s ok, really. I want to be a part of your life. I’ll behave myself, I promise. Girl Scout honor.” I held up three fingers and his face contorted into confusion.

I meant it to be a joke, but quickly realized he had no clue
what I was trying to express.

“Sorry, it’s a human thing.” I giggled, a silliness coming over me in the moment.

Maybe I was on the way to forming a bond with him. Maybe I was so tired that I was just becoming aloof to everything.

“In all seriousness, I’ll agree to be your mate and try my best to fit in here.” I truly meant it, and seeing the relief instantly form on his face gratified my decision. I took a deep breath as I admitted my confession.

I couldn’t help myself, but the intense attraction pulling me toward him like a magnet took over like an invisible gravity force.

“I think I could make it up to you,” I batted my eyes seductively, hushed my voice to a slow drawling whisper. I wasn’t used to behaving sexy in front of him.

“Oh yeah?” His eyes widened, like a light clicking from within.

“Yeah.” I bit my lip and swayed my hips in a sexy dance. I didn’t feel awkward at all. I felt…natural like I had a chemistry and connection with him.

One thing I had going for me was my figure. Even though I wasn’t on the trim side, my curvy hips did me a favor.

Most guys liked the hourglass shape and the fact that I was curvy meant that I was truly a woman.

Most guys wanted to grab them and pull me close. I could tell by the expression on Harkzak’s face that he was hungry to draw me in nearer and his eyes danced with the flame of desire.

“Are you going to strip for me?” His question came out as a narrow faint squeak as he deliciously eyed me up and down.

“You’ll just have to find out for yourself, won’t you?” I gave him a seductive smirk.

My seductive blanket was working, as I yanked him in. My heart raced in anticipation, my skin felt a flush of fever at being exposed in front of him. My heart raced with a wild thrill.

The eroticness of the moment washed over me, and I was ready for him to consume me.

  Chapter Eleven

  Harkzak

The orange glow of the lit fireplace wrapped around the room like a warm blanket of relaxation. That tranquil aura within myself quickly jerked to attention as Lucy began to undress from her sexy lingerie.

This was the moment I’d been waiting for, longing for even…ever since I bought Lucy that night on Earth.

I couldn’t believe she was finally succumbing to her duties as my mate, and I didn’t even have to force her into any of it. She’d climbed a mountain and found a way to embrace her new role.

Her eyes were ablaze with a sparkle that up until this moment I’d never seen her embrace with me before. I saw wild and raw passion through her smile.

She was breathtaking, tantalizing. I saw the sexy, seductive way she was staring at me. She knew she was hot. She knew she was turning me on and driving me mad.

The scent of her femininity drove through my nostrils and filled me with an awakening that I craved. My cock was throbbing with electric volts of passion in my pants.

There was something hammering at my mind, drilling a hole with guilt. This new reaction from Lucy was innocent. Her willingness to succumb and comply with a new type of freedom and environment was all built on a lie.

The worst part of the whole situation? I was the root of the problem by not disclosing the truth to her.

I wasn’t stupid, and I knew the potential for everything to crumble and cave within itself much like an avalanche down a snow trodden mountain. Even still, the vigor compelling me to reach out and grab her close to me was electrifying and strong.

Her skin was soft like fresh cream, silky smooth to the touch. Her hips swayed with a balance of natural ease. Her gaze was inviting and saucy. Her lips parted in a sexy way that made my insides quiver with fresh unrelenting desire. Her silky long blonde hair flowed like newly spun silk. Her eyes were a tropical paradise of blue and it didn’t take me long to get lost in the moment.

Every seductive move she made turned my muscles to pudding as I reached out to touch her. I wanted to become one with her. Her beauty was natural, epic. Her innocence became a puddle at her feet and I had to stop the moment before either of us became too involved.

Resistance still bound me like a shackle and chain because I secretly knew why she was suddenly agreeable to this new behavior. She was under the false impression that her life back home a hopeless lost cause. For all she knew, her family didn’t care about her anymore and had moved on with their lives. To continue on this path of fabrication would be like leading her on and I hated to be the culprit of that lie.

I remained firmly planted to the seat because her delicious tits bounced with each of her sexy movements and I was awestruck. Her fingers teased me as they danced and tickled over her inner thighs.

She moved closer to me, a heartbeat and a million miles away all at once. I longed to get to know who she was inside. I craved to push my throbbing cock within her tight, wet virgin pussy lips and into her secret places…where love was found.

Torn, I shook my head as if all the contents of my opinions inside my mind could be thrown out and set adrift into a new consciousness where I could live guilt free. But it wasn’t that simple.

I stood up from the bed in a haze and shifted my weight, feeling wobbly. Lucy took this as an invitation to draw near, until she was only a hairline away.

My fingertips pulsated with a heat ready to reach out and touch her skin, whether it scorched me or not. I drew in ragged, sharp breaths. Lucy floored me. I’d never felt this kind of effect from any woman ever in my life.

My face contorted with readable indecision. Lucy paused right before her sexy lacy lingerie made its final decent down past her thighs.

“You want to bond with me right?” The question hung in the air like a cloud of smoke; there were so many valuable ways to answer.

Lucy was giving me a wickedly naughty look as she raised her eyebrows. She was baiting me. I couldn’t believe how quickly she’d changed her mind about me.

My brain reacted before my speech could, and my neck muscles nodded uncontrollably. Yes, the answer was yes. I wanted to bond with her, devour her and fuck her silly.

I just wasn’t sure if this was the right opportunity. It almost felt like taking advantage of her, even though she wasn’t drunk.

The wait might send me into a comatose state of yearning. My muscles were almost irrational and disobedient with desire. My heart protested and told me I was an idiot for not pouncing directly on this hot chick in front of me.

I couldn’t resist the urge anymore. My left hand met hers and a volcanic eruption of pleasure hit my skin like lava flowing down a canyon. I saw fireworks behind my eyes. The heat between us was intense and made my heart pound.

“Yes, I want desperately to bond with you, Lucy.” My voice sounded distant and far away, a croak of desire. I didn’t intend to sound so blatantly desperate, but my squeaky voice and the way I was drooling and panting over her gave me away.

“You seem hesitant.” She was reading my emotions without me saying a word.

Shit. I was fucked and doomed.

Her voice was soft and embarrassed. I needed to recover the moment before she recoiled back into her tough exterior shell. She was already timid before and a flight risk of hysteria. I didn’t want to ruin the small window of opportunity for advancement with her.

She drove a hard bargain and I realized how hard it must be for her to lay herself on the vulnerable line like this in front of me. I was able to empathize with her on a more profound level.

“I’m not hesitant,” I blurted with convincing power. “It’s just…” I trailed off and sighed.

“Just what?” A pleading tone shadowed us both as her eyes flickered with resentment and humiliation.

“The situation is complex.” I placed my hands out, fumbling on a way to explain my reasoning’s with her without giving the lie away.

I already knew I was blowing it with her. The sexy moments between us were fading away like a puff of smoke.

Fear immobilized me to come clean, but I needed t
o rein her in and earn her trust. Then I would find a way to tell her the truth.

I knew she would change her mind about being with me if I told her that her family really was in fact mourning her every second back home on Earth.

“Don’t you think we should get to know each other a little better first?”

I mustered a reserved and shy smile, trying to enhance myself as a gentleman. I wasn’t sure if she would buy it, but I wanted to try anyway.

My confession must have worked, because her expression lightened, bringing back the pulse in my cock.

I dared a touch of my hand to her soft hair, grazed her cheek ever so slightly. Her skin was warm, alluring to my body. It was a tender moment between us that I embraced and wanted to remember forever.

She gave me a quizzical look at first which quickly turned to fresh understanding and respect.

“Yeah, I suppose it probably would be better to get to know each other first.”

She let out a cackling sound as she hastily drew the nighty back up her hips and plopped down on the bed. I eased my way beside her with a feeble attempt to stop staring at her bouncy chest.

She stared up at me with a sheepish grin and shrugged. “Do you think I’m pretty?”

“Of course I do,” I blurted out immediately. “I just…don’t want to rush things with you. I want you to feel comfortable. I don’t want you to feel like you have to do this to please me.”

She stared out the window. “Thank you.” I watched her facial expressions shift slightly. “Most guys would just go for it. I appreciate you being respectful.”

I took her hand and squeezed it. “Absolutely. I don’t want you to hate me anymore.”

She gazed up at me with huge, blue eyes. “I’m not sure I ever did hate you. I was just…confused.”

“Do you want to go out on the balcony and look at the stars together?” I hoped my suggestion would at least get her to cuddle with me. I longed to breathe in the scent of her virgin pussy from close up, even if I couldn’t take her just yet.
