  Tren

‘ . . . and, this is called the motherboard . . . ’ breathing heavily through his mouth as he explains, looking extremely happy and nervous at the same time

  H

  ‘ . . . umm . . . yeah . . . ’ (obviously not understanding + extremely bored)

  Tren

‘this has 7 PCI slots which means it has expandability . . . ’ (oblivious, continues to explain with a twinkle in his eye

  H

‘ . . . umm . . . I just remembered I’ve got something to do so I’m gonna go now. Thanks for today.’ (leaves without waiting for a yes or no answer)

  Tren

‘What? Um . . . I’ll take you home----!’ (quickly runs after her but trips and falls, leaving him stranded as she runs away home)

I’d like to go with Lady Hermesalicious arrragh whhhattt rrruuuuu ddddd ←appears to be attacked by Train

All jokes aside, when I got there, there was a man straight out of one of the Jump mangas wearing silver-rimmed shades and sipping an iced tea. I ordered an iced Earl Grey and out came two rectangular biscuits with it. I left the biscuits untouched (for some reason) as I kept worrying about what the ladies-who-lunch and the Hermesalicious ones were thinking so I quickly drank one cup and headed to the till. I’m not sure if the tea was at the till . . . the cans were going for anywhere between £5 and £10 per 100g depending on the tea. They had other things for sale that looked like some kind of spread and something like a scone.

  Ginza

  Curious Spring Affair?

Numerous Single Men Lose Consciousness at Department Store Tea Salon

There have been numerous reports about single men visiting the Tea Salon in the Matsuzakaya Department Store in the Ginza district whom faint upon arrival, one after the next. There have been a total of 16 men reported to have fainted by early evening today but causes have been largely unknown. Then men whom fainted have no known connection to each other and the only unifying thread between them seems to be that they are all single. Amongst the unconscious were some who mouthed incoherent words as ‘Hermes’ ‘Train’ and ‘Dhalsim’ but all were transported to a mid-city hospital.

The Matsuzakaya spokesperson struggled to explain what had transpired.

‘They were certainly not the type of customer we are used to seeing in our store and we have no idea what happened or how to even comment on the incident.’ The random and wholly unexpected happenings that transpired one after the next in an otherwise peaceful environment gave customers pause for thought as they looked on with concern.

I can’t stop thinking about it lately.

I mean, she’s been so friendly ever since we first met but it’s different when you put it in like girlfriend-boyfriend. And I get thinking about whether I’m worthy or not.

I’m so not up to her standards but . . .

  I think about what would happen if I didn’t tell her how I feel . . .

Would we just be friends? That’s probably what it’d be but

if I do tell her and it’s a no-go, then she’ll probably ditch me?

I’m scared about losing our friendship as well coz I may not be able to see her anymore . . .

  And beyond anything, if it’s a no-go, then I can’t show my face anymore . . .

‘Mr Train, I want to convert my CDs to MP3s’

  T:

  ‘Sure, I’ll be right over.’

  H:

‘Make sure you don’t leave without telling me.’
