Kendra wiped her eyes, unable to stop crying. “No more secrets, remember? I got suspicious and had a test taken in town. They just called me back about an hour ago. I was going to tell you all together tonight. I thought we’d have a fire in the fireplace and it would be romantic.”

Mason laughed and hugged her close, his hand splayed on her abdomen. “This is plenty romantic enough for me. When’s the baby due?”

“Right before Christmas.” She looked across at Quinn, who stared at her reverently, the sparkle of tears in his eyes nearly overwhelming her. “Between my sister calling and finding out about the baby, I can’t seem to stop crying.”

Sitting up, she giggled, her emotions running high. “It’s a good thing we started doubling up, or we wouldn’t have any room for a nursery.” She loved sleeping between two of them every night.

Mason stilled, looking at the others, who looked equally shocked. “If her sister comes to visit, she and Tony are going to need a place to sleep.”

Quinn’s tender smile melted her heart. “And we’re definitely going to have more babies.”

Grant got to his feet, grinning. “I always thought this house was too big, and now we need more room.”

An hour later, they all still sat at the table, the men sipping their coffee while Kendra sipped at the glass of milk Barrett placed in front of her.

Pads of paper lay strewn all over the table as the men argued about the best way to add more bedrooms to the already large house.

Sitting on Quinn’s lap now, she leaned her head against his shoulder, smiling as he rubbed her stomach.

“I love you, Kendra. So much that it hurts sometimes.”

Lifting her face to his and aware of the others watching, she smiled. “I love you just as much.” Lifting to kiss his jaw, she wrapped her arms around his neck, blinking back tears again as she gestured toward the papers on the table. “It looks like I’m still disrupting your life, huh?”

Quinn chuckled. “Yes, you certainly are.” Gathering her close, he kissed her hair. “And we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re a family now, Kendra, something I never had before.”

Grant smiled and reached for her hand while Mason and Barrett watched her indulgently. “And it’s all because of you.”
