Covering His Fox: Paranormal Dating Agency (Heads N’ Tails Series Book 4) Page 5

by Roxanne Witherell

Foxy stared at him in awe. She had never seen anything like that before. She had seen the honeycombs before but never thought to break off a piece. Menot sat down beside her. He broke the honeycomb in half and placed half down in front of her. She bit down into the honeycomb. The sweet honey dripped from her mouth as it escaped from the comb. She licked the honey from around her mouth, trying to recover the escaped goodness. She hasn’t had fresh honey from the honeycomb before. The bees have always deterred her from trying to snag any from the nest.

They finished their honey and continued on their way to her spot. They walked the rest of the way, taking their time as the moseyed along. Every few minutes Menot would shake his body, clearing off another bee that had landed on him. They arrived at the lake with time to spare before sunrise. Foxy took him to a grassy knoll on the edge of the water. She could have taken him down to the small beach area but she preferred the soft grass under her feet than the gritty sand. Walking to the edge, she looked into the water at her reflection. Her dainty fox stared back at her. Menot came over beside her and peered into the water. His reflection nearly swallowed hers. He sat on the ground beside her. Reaching around her with his paw, he pulled her close. They looked strange together, she had to admit. She stared at their reflections and all their differences. Quickly, she realized she didn’t care about those differences. They’d find a way to make it work.

Foxy shifted back into her human form. She ran her hand through Menot’s fur and leaned her head against him. This would be the first time she had watched the sunrise with someone out here. She couldn’t think of anyone more perfect to watch it with than Menot. Closing her eyes, she wished this moment could last. Any tension she had built up from this week’s drama melted away and was replaced with a sense of peace. This feels right.

Menot’s body shifted under her hand. Her fingers no longer mingled with his fur, but rested on his bare chest. The sudden change in weight and position had them both falling backwards to their backs. They laughed as they positioned themselves to lay on the grassy knoll. Together, they laid there looking out at the skyline, waiting for the sun to rise.

“It’s beautiful out here,” he told her and pulled her closer to him.

“It’s one of my favorite places out here.” She turned toward him and leaned up on her elbow. “That was crazy, what you did to get the honey. I’ve never seen anyone get honey that way. Did you get stung at all?”

“One tagged me on my ear, but the honey was worth it.” He rubbed his left earlobe. “What can I say? I’m a sucker for fresh honey. I thought you could use a little sweet treat.”

“It was delicious,” she commented. “Though, I expected the bees to swarm you.”

“Nah, they know they can’t do much damage to me as a bear. My fur is too thick for them to penetrate.” He looked over at her. “Unlike you, they would have penetrated you easily.”

“I never really thought of myself as being easily penetrable.” She laughed at the thought.

“That’s not what I meant.” He laughed along with her. “If you were that easy, I would have penetrated you already.”

“How would you know if you haven’t even tried?” She asked with a grin.

“I would never penetrate without an invitation.” He winked at her.

His eyes trailed down the length of her body. She knew she planted the thought into his mind. Hoping he would take action, she pressed her body closer to his. The warmth of his body seeped into hers.

“You have an open invitation. All you have to do is take it.”

Menot reached up, weaving his hand in her hair. He pulled her down on him, crushing her lips to his. She parted her lips as his tongue teased her. Her body tingled with anticipation. He rolled her onto her back, never breaking the kiss as he rolled with her. She opened her legs to allow him to get closer. His hard shaft pressed against her. Her heart pounded and she deepened the kiss. Anticipation built and her patience was running out. She had waited a long time for him. She didn’t want to wait another minute.

The caress of his lips on her skin set her body ablaze. He trailed kisses down her neck and along her collarbone. She splayed her fingers along his shoulders as he lowered his body down to hers. Each kiss of his lips left her wanting more. His hands explored her body, finding the apex between her legs. His thumb rubbed across her clit and she nearly came undone. Menot smiled knowingly down on her and tapped his thumb on her clit. Her body jerked involuntarily from the sensation. He brought his lips down to her breast, taking a nipple into his mouth. He lightly grazed his teeth along her nipple, turning them into hardened peaks. Unable to wait any longer, she bucked him and flipped them over.

“I wasn’t finished,” he told her.

“I’ve waited long enough,” she said and crushed his lips with hers.

She didn’t even need to tease him first. He was rock hard for her. Straddling his body, she positioned herself over his cock. He grabbed hold of her hips as she slowly slid down his shaft.

“Oh, dear God, that feels good,” she moaned.

She took in his full length. Her body stretched to accommodate his thick cock. With his hands on her ass he helped her lift and set her back down. She rode him slowly, enjoying the feel of him inside her. He sat up and she wrapped her legs around him. His arm came around her waist and he buried his face in her neck. She moaned out loudly as he brought her down on him with force. He wrapped her hair around his hand and pulled her head back. His tongue lightly grazed the side of her neck as he made his way to her breasts. He bent forward, taking her nipple into his mouth.

  “Yes!” She called out.

She rocked her body harder, grinding down on him. He sucked on her nipple, sending spasms throughout her body. It felt amazing as he gave her body his undivided attention. He leaned back slightly, bringing his hand between them. He moaned as her body clenched his shaft. His thumb found her clit again, giving it pressure taps. She wasn’t able to hold on any longer. Her orgasm burst forth like water from a waterfall. Her muscles clenched, and she threw her head back in ecstasy.

“That’s right baby. Come all over me.” He claimed her lips as her body quivered.

He moaned out when his own release came. His seed filled her and her body collapsed into him. She unwrapped her legs from around his back. He laid back, bringing her down on top of him. She slid off his shaft but made no other inkling to move.

They finished just in time to watch the sunrise over the water. She’d never been so content before. Her body was sated, and her muscles relaxed. She laid on Menot as the sun came up.

  “It’s beautiful,” she commented.

“Yes, you are,” he replied, pressing his lips against her temple.

They laid together without words. Just enjoyed being close to each other. After a night of dancing, running, and lovemaking, her eyelids closed. Suddenly, Menot shifted underneath her. His warm skin replaced by thick, warm fur. She pushed herself up but his huge paw landed on her back pushing her back down against his chest.

“Ok, I get it.” She laughed and snuggled against him. “I was always against the bear skin rug thing. I’ll make an exception for you.” Her fingers weaved into his fur.

They watched the sunrise transform the sky. The array of pinks over the water was breathtaking. She couldn’t take her eyes away even though she was getting tired. Knowing she needed to make it back to the truck she climbed off her warm, loving bear.

“We need to get back,” she told him. Menot rolled over and kneeled in front of her. He jerked his head, motioning for her to climb on. “You want to give me a lift?”

When he nodded, she climbed on his back. His soft fur was inviting. He carried her back the way they came through the woods. She’d been there so many times that a small path had formed her trail. While she rode on his back, she told him more about herself. Telling him a few stories of her younger years and a few club fights with the other dancers.

They arrived at the parking lot much quicker than
she liked. They stood on the inside of the open truck doors and got dressed. Not caring if she was caught, she watched as he pulled on his cargo pants. She bit her lip as the material covered his toned legs. Her eyes trailed up to his ass and his thick shaft. He moved in a way that his shaft jerked in her direction. She smiled at the movement, finding amusement in the action.

  “You like what you see?”

“Very much so,” she replied, then pulled her shirt back on.

“I plan on giving you so much more.” He grabbed his shirt off the seat and sat down.

“And I’ll take all that you give.” She hopped in the truck and involuntarily yawned.

“Let’s get you back. Can’t have you coming in tonight all exhausted because of me.”

The ride back to her car was filled with conversation. He told her about the other members of the clan that was coming in. Foxy quickly realized that most of her stories were of work. Years ago, she vowed never to be on the streets again and she worked damn near every day to ensure that didn’t happen. Because of it, she had a nice stockpile in case of hard times. She looked over at Menot, contemplating taking a day or two off a week. It would give her more time to spend with Menot.

They arrived back at her car as the morning crowd was coming into the diner. Menot parked beside her car and jumped out. She watched as he ran around the front of the truck to open the door for her. Instead of helping her out when she turned, he wedged himself between her legs. Her skirt slid up her thighs. His lips pressed against hers and she wrapped her arms around him. Tucking her feet behind his knees she pulled him closer. The kiss wasn’t a lust wanting kiss. Instead, it was tender, and sensual. Menot broke off from the kiss and took a step back.

“Since I won’t be able to do that tonight.” Menot smiled and kissed her lips once more.

“I’ll meet you at 5:30 and we can ride up together,” she offered, smiling at the thought of seeing him before work.

“I’ll be there.” He helped her out of his truck.

She didn’t want to leave but she didn’t want to seem clingy by wanting to spend more time with him. After giving him her phone number, she unlocked her door and got in. As she pulled out of the parking spot, she kept glancing back his way. He watched her leave. This is a good sign.

  Nine

Foxy turned into the parking garage of Heads N’ Tails at 5:28. She ended up oversleeping and had to rush through her shower just to get here on time. She pulled into her parking spot and looked to see if she could see Menot’s truck. Her view was obscured mostly by a grey utility van. Grabbing her phone off the passenger seat, she got out. As she grabbed her bag from the back seat, she noticed Menot coming around the back of the car.

“Boo.” He pounded on the trunk of her car.

“Nice try.” She laughed. “I saw you coming.” She spoiled his fun.

“I figured you did,” he came up behind her. “Want me to take your bag?”

“Sure.” She handed him the bag.

She closed her car door and turned to him. He was too close for her not to touch. She pushed him up against her car and pressed her lips against his. He wrapped his arm around her, kissing her back. All too soon, he pulled back from the kiss.

“Someone is going to see us here,” he told her and kissed her cheek.

“Then we should take cover.” She laughed and took his hand, pulling him toward the elevator.

As they got in the elevator, she heard a vehicle door slam. The elevator door closed before she could see who may have seen them. Turning to Menot, she pulled her bag off his shoulder and dropped it onto the floor.

“You’re going to get us caught,” Menot said taking her into his arms.

“As long as you do your job, Tony won’t have a problem with it,” she assured him. “But right now, is my time until the elevator doors open.”

He pressed her up against the wall and his lips came down on hers. The passion behind his kiss was unlike anything she had ever felt before. She loved kissing him. It set her body on fire all the way to her toes. The soft ding of the elevator alerted them that the doors were about to open. Menot backed up and picked up her bag. He handed it to her just as the doors slid open.

“You’re just in time,” Tony greeted them from the hallway. “Tobias brought some hot wings in for everyone. Better get them while they’re still hot.”

“I forgot it’s Friday. Tobias brings something down from the restaurant on Fridays,” she told Menot as they stepped off the elevator. “I was kind of hoping he would bring ribs this week.”

“He was going to but Kade’s pack wiped him out of ribs,” Tony informed her as he got on the elevator. He watched them both until the elevator doors slid closed. Menot let out a relieved sigh.

“He doesn’t suspect anything,” she told him. “It will be okay.” She laughed as the made their way down the short hall to the club’s double doors.

“If you say so.” Menot opened the door and held it for her.

“I do, now relax. Wings are at the bar. I have to put my stuff down and I’ll be right out.”

They went their separate ways. Menot went toward the bar and she went straight to the dressing room. A few of the dancers were at their makeup stations with a plate of hot wings. Jasmine watched her with narrowed eyes. Foxy opened her locker, dropping her bag inside. Her roses weren’t on her station. She glanced around the room but didn’t see them. Maybe the cleaning crew got rid of them. Usually, she’d grab a plate and lounge around in the dressing room while she ate. Not today, today she’d eat at the bar where she could be close to Menot.

The club was already in full swing. Since her shift didn’t start for another twenty minutes, she could take her time eating. Nina saw her coming and set a beer out on the bar along with a paper plate for wings. Menot stood at the end of the bar, eating wings and watching the crowd. She grabbed her plate and walked around the bar. As she scooted past Menot, she lightly rubbed up against him. He didn’t look at her, but she could tell he was smiling. She placed some wings on her plate and sat at one of the bar stools near Menot, but not right next to him. She didn’t want to look obvious.

“You’re not eating in the dressing room tonight?” Nina asked.

“Jasmine’s back there with her attitude, so I thought I’d sit out here while I ate,” Foxy told her.

“Yeah, she’s been in a bad mood for the last hour. Your customer came in and she was shot down again. She’s been huffing and puffing ever since.”

“Didn’t she learn last night, that guy wasn’t into her?” Menot asked then bit into a wing.

“I told you, she never learns,” Nina commented and grabbed a beer for another customer. “I think she pissed him off because he left. Sorry, she may have ruined tonight’s money for you.”

“Oh, I’m not worried about it. If you’re talking about Antoine, then he’ll be back. She can’t run him off for long,” Foxy said and looked out at the crowd. Antoine wasn’t in the crowd, but she did see other familiar faces. She could still make good money tonight.

While she ate, she kept glancing to Menot. She’d catch him looking and she’d give him a wink. When she finished her wings, she chugged the last of her beer and hopped off the bar stool. She went to throw her plate away in the trash behind the bar. As she past Menot, she pinched his fine ass. He didn’t jump like she expected him to, instead, he tightened his ass.

“I’ll get payback,” he whispered to her. “You don’t know when. You don’t know where. But it’s coming.”

“Should I be scared?” She whispered back as she walked off.

She couldn’t keep the smile off her face as she walked to the dressing room. Tobias roared out, catching her attention. Passion was on stage in front of him. Foxy went through the dressing room door and saw Jasmine was still there even though she was done eating. Didn’t she have anything better to do? Jasmine watched her as she walked to her station. Foxy rolled her eyes as she sat down. Unlocking her locker, she pulled out her bag and to
ok out her makeup. From her mirror she could see Jasmine still watching her.

“Do you need some beauty tips?” She asked Jasmine, holding up her eyeshadow palette.

“As if I would need them from you?” She crossed her arms over her chest.

“Then why are you staring at me like I’m the big sister you never had?” Foxy was exhausted with all Jasmine’s issues.

“There’s nothing sisterly about the way I feel about you,” Jasmine hissed.

“That’s nice. Now since you’re at work maybe you should go out there and actually make some money rather than being in here not being sisterly.” She pulled her t-shirt off and tossed it into her locker.

“I’ve already made plenty of money.” She flipped her hair over her shoulder. “In fact, your man came in earlier. He didn’t even want to see you. Spent money on me though. Maybe he’s finally coming around to the finer things in life.”

“Yeah, I heard about that.” Foxy laughed. “Let me know how that works out for you. On second thought, don’t because I don’t care.”

“We’ll see who gets him.” Jasmine got up and stormed out of the dressing room, knocking into Paris on her way in.

“Whoa, what’s her deal?” Paris asked Foxy.

“What isn’t her deal?” Foxy stripped off her jeans.

“True,” Paris replied and checked her makeup before going to the stage curtain.

Paris went out on stage as Passion came off. Foxy tossed her bra and panties in her locker and pulled out a few outfits. Deciding on her plaid mini skirt and white front tie top, she slid the others to the side. After getting dressed she focused on her makeup. She wanted to work the floor before she had to get on stage, so she didn’t go heavy on her makeup. By the time she finished her makeup, she was alone in the dressing room. She strapped on her white heels and left the dressing room.
