Luckily, the House of Blacktomb was no longer as all remaining members had been killed in the crossfire during the civil war. There were no living connections outside of the Sword Instructor… and I had a feeling she wasn’t going to point the finger at me. She didn’t know I was involved anyways.
The rewards would come in time and I wasn’t worried about that.
And then as I was about to nod off, the Call to Arms officially ended.
[Congratulations! You have officially completed the Call to Arms-]
(End Volume 3)
Chapter: Afterword
Well that concludes this part of the story!
I can only hope you found it reasonably enjoyable as this one proved to be the most difficult book I’ve ever written. Though I’ve only published three novels, I have written around ten books in total with the other seven in need of heavy revision and editing. So they sit on different hard drives and haven’t been touched in a very long time, years really.
During the process for this book, I dealt with writer’s block for the first time and struggled immensely with it as it essentially shut me down for slightly over four weeks. It impacted me for a few weeks after as well as I slowly came back from it.
It was something that I felt really stunted my growth and ability to write freely and it took a long time to simply get my imagination back. That’s the primary reason this book was delayed and though I tried to make up for it with longer hours during my good days, it still took far longer than I wanted.
Originally this book was about 100,000 words and ended around Chapter 108 as I was thinking of releasing it on October the 31st. If you follow on the forums on my Author Page or whatever it’s called on Amazon.com, you’ll know I delayed it until now so I could add roughly 40,000 more words (totaling 140,000~) with the new ending now Chapter 119. Compare that to Volume 1’s 85,000~ / Volume 2’s 115,000~ words and you’re getting a lot more book here, hopefully that translates well.
I’m of the belief that the extended timeframe made for a better book and was worth the delay. In its original state, it didn’t feel right. My goal has been to write something that is enjoyable for people to read, as I started writing because I failed to find enough interesting stories that sparked my interests.
That’s why I write, that’s what I enjoy.
So I’m hopeful you enjoyed it too.
As for a Volume 4 and when that will be released, I honestly have no idea. I’ve plotted it out as a PvE Dungeon-centric book and imagine it will fall somewhere between the length of the second volume and this one. How long will it take me to write that many words?
I’m not sure.
Currently I seem to be writing at a pace of one book per 11-12 weeks. I wanted to have books out every 8 weeks but I haven’t been able to do that so far. There was a health setback during the writing of the second book and during this book I had writer’s block. It’s a bit frustrating and due to that, I don’t want to make any promises or set hard deadlines for a release.
I simply don’t know what might happen and it bothers me when deadlines aren’t met. It’s probably safe to assume 10-12 weeks out from now, Volume 4 will be out but again, I can’t promise that.
I’ll try and get it out as fast as I can though.
As far as a personal website went, it was originally my intent to create my own but after playing around with a wordpress template and finding a lot of errors and bugs with it, such as links only going one way despite what I believed was proper coding, I abandoned it to focus on this book.
If money permits, I’ll probably buy a better template and play with that rather than using the free ones but that’s a time sink for me and at the moment, I’m not sure I have enough content to really justify a website.
Might just hire someone else to do it as well.
In saying that, I’ve included my email here if you feel a need to contact me for some reason or another. Only warning there is it might take me a little while to reply to messages, as I don’t check my emails all that often.

Alrighty! Well again, hope you enjoyed the read and thank you for giving my book a shot =D. If you want to leave a review, I do read them all and am always interested in feedback whether it’s positive or negative.
Otherwise, you can probably find me in the amazon.com forums =O.
