He turned, and so did the man who was walking next to him. She sent them both a smile and a wave.
Vlek yelled something in his language, and the group stopped moving, and then everyone looked over to watch them.
A blush crept up her cheeks. Great. Now everyone was going to watch her while she tried to communicate with Vlek. Now how should she mime making camp for a little bit?
Olivia glanced up at Vlek, and he raised a dark eyebrow. “We need to stop for a little bit.” She pointed over at Chloe and then pointed at the ground.
He glanced over at Chloe who was now sitting on the ground her head thrown back and her eyes firmly shut. He nodded his head before he said something to the men around him. A warrior stepped forward.
Olivia’s eyes narrowed. She wasn’t sure what he was planning, but she got the feeling that Chloe wouldn’t like the idea.
He motioned Olivia and the warrior over to Chloe and then mimed the warrior carrying Chloe.
“What’s he saying?” Chloe glanced up at the people who were now surrounding her.
“I think he wants this warrior to carry you.” She glanced down at Chloe. “If you can keep going, I can tell him no, but if you want a rest, I think this is the only other option open to you.”
“I’m not that bad off. I just need a couple of sips of water, and then I’ll be fine again.” Chloe pushed herself back onto her feet, took a few swigs from a water bottle, and then sent everyone a smile. “Good to go.” She eyed the alien out of the side of her eye, and Olivia knew Chloe didn’t want to be carried.
“She’s fine.” Olivia mimed walking again, and Vlek sent his warrior away with a flick of his hand before getting them all moving again.
“Thanks, Olivia,” Chloe said. “It was worth a try, but I think I’d prefer to walk on my own two feet rather than be carried by one of these aliens.”
“Completely understandable.” She cast a quick glance over at Vlek. Then why was she hoping to be in his arms as soon as possible? She closed her eyes. She needed to remain strong.
By the time the sun started setting, they had made camp again.
“Oh my.” Scarlett leaned against a tree trunk and sank down to the ground. “I need a rest.”
A growl echoed off the trees, and the women froze thinking a predator was about to jump them until they realized it was coming from one of the aliens.
“Just hang on a second!” Brooklyn’s voice was raised in irritation.
Olivia watched on as Brooklyn snatched an obsidian dagger from an alien and used it to slice behind her ear and took out her communicator. Then she handed the dagger back to the alien. His brows were drawn down not looking even a tad pleased with Brooklyn’s actions of cutting open her flesh, but it didn’t look like Olivia would need to interfere.
He probably thought she wanted a weapon and had probably been surprised when she used it to harm herself. Unfortunately, on a primitive planet like this, the only way to get to the communicator chip was to make an incision behind the ear and push it out.
Brooklyn walked over to them blood covering her fingertips. “I think I can get this thing to work for their language. Just give me some time to fiddle with it.”
Olivia nodded. “I think we all would be extremely thankful if you can get it to work. I know I wouldn’t mind being able to talk to them. Right now, communication would be great.” She wanted to know more about them and make sure they knew she and the rest of the women were friendly and not a threat.
“Or him?” Scarlett wiggled her eyebrows, as she pointed over at Vlek.
“Put your finger down, or he’ll know we’re talking about him.” Olivia blushed. Boy, was she falling for Vlek. Hook, line, and sinker. And they hadn’t even had a conversation unless first names and miming counted.
The women settled down around a fire the aliens had kindly built. The heat wasn’t needed in the rainforest, but it was comforting. Olivia loved listening to the crackling of the fire as it ate away at the wooden logs.
She gazed over the flames and saw Vlek watching her again with his intense golden eyes. A shiver spread over her skin. She wasn’t going to make it off this planet without sleeping with him. She didn’t have a chance. With that exposed expanse of perfectly chiseled chest, she wasn’t going to last long.
The alien men pulled out some meat and quickly started handing out chunks, which gave her a few moments without Vlek staring at her like he might jump over the fire and devour her in a split second.
Vlek plopped a seat right next to her, and she restrained the groan that threatened to come up and out of her throat.
“Olivia.” He purred her name.
She met his eyes, and slowly she raked her eyes down his neck, to his arms, and then over to his chest. Her eyes followed the black swirls of his skin. Yum… she shook herself.
She placed her meat on a rock near the fire, and the sizzle and pop of the meat called to her ears.
“Olivia.” Vlek sounded disappointed as the corners of his mouth fell as he glanced at the cooking meat.
“Hey,” She made the same face at his raw meat, “that just won’t do. Don’t get me wrong. I like medium rare but raw? No thanks!”
He just stared at her as she spoke, and she sent him a smile. She didn’t need him thinking she was yelling at him.
“I can’t wait until we can speak with each other.” She turned her attention back to her meat and flipped it with a stick.
“Trike.” Vlek pointed at the meat cooking on the stone.
“Trike.” She repeated and sent him another smile. Even if Brooklyn had trouble with the translators, she was determined to communicate with these people. Even if that meant she had to learn their language. They were going to be here for the foreseeable future, and someone was going to have to learn their language.
Once her meat was done, she carefully stabbed it with a stick and began gnawing on the chunk. It was pretty good. Nothing amazing and a little gamey, but edible and better than any of their nutritional bars.
She saw Vlek leaning back, just watching her as she ate. She could get lost in those golden depths. She needed to get away from him before she slept with him.
Olivia bolted onto her feet the moment she was done with her piece of meat. “I’m getting some air.”
Scarlett waved her away while nodding her head, still enjoying her own slab of the meat.
So, she dashed into the woods. She wouldn’t go too far, just far enough to clear her mind and allow her to walk off some of this sexual frustration that was building inside her body. They’d barely touched, and he was flooding her mind with inappropriate thoughts. She had to remain cool and collected like the scientist she was.
She paced around a small area as she sucked in the humid air around her.
A twig snapped behind her, and she spun around in a circle to see Vlek standing behind her. She placed a hand over her racing heart.
“You scared me.”
He stepped forward slowly, and she gulped, his gold eyes pinning her to the ground she stood on. Maybe she shouldn’t have left the group to clear her mind.
When he neared, he grabbed her arm and guided her into the dark forest and far away from the camp. Her heart was beating rapidly in her ears, and she had no idea if it was from fear or excitement. The butterflies in her stomach wouldn’t stop dancing around in delight.
Once they were a fair distance away from the camp, Vlek pushed her up against a tree, and a gasp escaped her at the sudden movement. His head descended towards her neck, and she found herself tilting her head to give him better access.
He scraped his impressive canines against her neck, as he lightly licked her neck with the tip of his tongue. A quiver ran through her body, as he traced his way to her ear, his hot breath skimming over the sensitive flesh.
Her hands spread out over his bare chest. She’d been waiting to touch him some more, since their first brief contact. No, she’d been dying to touch him again.
A small seed of doubt spread
throughout her chest. This might not be the best thing to do, but she squashed it. Who knew what the future held, but she wasn’t going to let this moment pass her by. She could die on this planet before the rescue party came for them, or they might never get rescued. They’d already broken most of their protocols, what was one more?
His claw-tipped fingers went to the top of her shirt.
“Wait!” She stopped him before he ripped it off her.
Pushing him back she saw him slowly shake his head in astonishment. She couldn’t help the smile spreading on her lips. He thought she was rejecting him!
“I just don’t want to be walking around naked, because you weren’t patient with my clothing.” The last thing she needed was for him to rip her clothing off. It would be hard to face anyone in the nude when she got back to their camp.
Her hands flew to the bottom of her shirt, and she whipped it over her head and let it drop to the ground. Next, she took off her bra and let her tits pop out. The humid air of the rainforest felt so good on her freed breasts which had been baking in their confines.
Vlek’s eyes grew hooded, as his gaze zeroed in on her naked top half.
Olivia was tempted to cross her arms across her exposed breasts, but she loved the way he was looking at her. It was like he’d never seen anything better. It made her feel beautiful, and for a while, she knew she’d forget that she was a curvier woman. The way his eyes devoured every inch had her knowing he didn’t mind a bit.
Vlek let out a deep growl of appreciation, as he stepped back towards her. They might look a little different, but so far, a lot looked the same about their bodies. Feosua women were tall, lithe, and had tiny breasts that always fit in the palm of their mate’s hand.
He was pleased to find that wasn’t true with Olivia. Her breasts were quite a handful, and he could imagine them spilling out of his grasp. Her body had curves to it that he just loved and couldn’t wait to run his hands all over. Those hips of hers were amazing, flaring out wide, promising to deliver her mate as many children as she could produce.
“Olivia.” He growled. “I wish I could tell you how beautiful you are, but the only word I know in your tongue is your name.”
Her brown eyes gazed up at him in silence. He would have to learn more words in her language, but he knew of one way he could tell her that she was beautiful and that didn’t need words.
Vlek cupped her breasts and was delighted to find them soft and supple. His thumbs worked over her pink nipples in small tight circles. A gasp escaped from her red lips, as she leaned against the tree some more. His cock strained against the restraints of his pants, demanding he claim his mate already.
But he wanted to take his time and enjoy this moment with her. This would be their first joining, and he wanted to convey every emotion flowing through him since he couldn’t speak to her.
Finding his mate meant everything to him. He’d wondered how long it might take, and he was glad the waiting was done with, and he couldn’t be happier with his mate. His Olivia might not be a Feosua, but she was the leader of her group of women, and he was sure she’d be up to the challenge of running the village by his side.
His hands drifted from her breasts, down her shapely hips to the front of her pants. There he found some sort of contraption, which had to be zipped down, and then he worked on the frustrating metal button right under her belly button. Once he was done with that small annoyance, he slipped her pants down her legs.
With his head at her belly, he gave it a soft kiss, and then made short work of the scrappy piece of material covering her sex. He slipped a claw under the strap hugging her waist and clipped it.
She let out a gasp and said some harsh words he couldn’t understand, so he ignored her. Once they were mated, he wouldn’t want that material hiding her sex from his view or in his way. It was better that he had destroyed it.
He slipped a finger between her legs and entered her soft passage, careful not to scrape her with his claws. Pleasure soared through him when he found her soaking wet and ready for him. Clearly, she was just as excited to see what would exist between them as he was.
Slipping a second finger inside her, he pumped into her passage, until her head fell back and her lips parted on a gasp. He loved the way she looked as the moonlight filtered through the leaves above them and swirled over her face.
His thumb brushed over her clit, and she let out a deep moan that sent shivers of pleasure racing through him. Liking that sound on her lips, he continued to brush his finger over her clit, until she came around his fingers, her passage clamping down around his persistent fingers.
The moment her body ceased tugging at his fingers he stood back up, and he slipped out of his pants, letting his cock spring free. He needed to feel her around him.
It might have been dark in the forest, but Olivia was close enough to see his enormous cock as it sprung free of his pants. It stood proudly between his thighs, and she nearly swooned as she gawked openly at it. His cock had the same black stripes the rest of him had. She licked her dry lips. How was he wanting to do this?
Olivia stepped forward, reached down between them, and caressed his cock with her hand. Its length made her stomach tremble in delight and anticipation. Olivia couldn’t wait to have it fill her to the brim.
As she stroked him, he dipped his head to her neck again and gave her a small nip with his canines, not breaking her skin, but sent a jolt of surprise soaring through her. His warm hands massaged her breasts and teased her tight nipples, which ached beyond anything she’d felt before.
Before she could blink, he pushed her up against the tree and lifted her legs around his waist. In one swift motion, he entered her, stretching her wide.
“Oh, yes.” Olivia panted, as her head fell forward until her head hit his shoulder.
Each thrust sent sensations craning through her body, and each growl he emitted had her body thrumming in primitive excitement. Her muscles clamped down around his cock, as stars shot behind her eyelids. He was hitting every spot inside her, and she knew she was going to come soon.
He growled as he shot his hot seed into her. Then he bit down on her neck, breaking the skin. Weirdly, it only added more pleasure, as she came around his long shaft.
Olivia slumped against him. She’d never had sex against a tree before, but she was definitely going to do it again. It had been fun, new, and primal. The scratch of the rough bark was so different from the softness of a modern-day mattress.
Vlek pulled out of her, drew back, and laid her on the ground so that he could cuddle her into his arms. He was so warm, and she felt safe in his strong arms.
Vlek kissed the spot on her neck he’d bitten, as he mumbled words to her that she couldn’t understand.
Olivia fell asleep with a smile on her lips. Next time, she’d draw it out longer, not that there would be a next time. This was a one-time deal. She kept repeating it because she knew it wouldn’t be the truth.
Vlek glanced down at her in his arms. His mate. He still couldn’t get over the fact that he’d found her.
She’d fallen asleep promptly in his arms, and he felt his chest swell a little bit. She should feel safe with him. He’d never let anything happen to her, which would be difficult. Wherever she came from he knew it wasn’t here in this rainforest. She was unprepared for this rainforest, and he worried about her safety. The whole group of women were like children, just learning about the rainforest.
He would have to make the threats in this forest clear to Olivia and the other women the moment he could. It might be hard without the same language, but he’d have to do his best. Otherwise, he worried they’d perish as quickly as they’d shown up.
He’d just discovered she was his mate. His Olivia. Somehow, he doubted she knew the meaning of what they’d shared this night. He glanced down at her neck. Or what his bite mark meant. She was marked as his mate now. He wished he had the words to talk to her and tell her.
He had much to discuss with her about her
ways and his. He needed to talk to her, and learn about her because he wanted nothing more than to make her happy. It frustrated him that he’d have to be patient while she learned his language or he learned hers.
Vlek turned his gaze to the leaves above them dancing in a light wind. The sounds of animals going about their business in the night calmed him back down. They would have some difficulties to work out, but they could do it. He wouldn’t be given a mate that wasn’t the perfect fit for him.
Closing his eyes, he let the sounds of the night lull him into a peaceful sleep.
Chapter 9
A hand shook Olivia’s shoulder gently, and she bolted upright only to stare down into Vlek’s mesmerizing golden eyes. He motioned to the lightening sky, and she got the hint. If she wanted to get back to camp before morning, she’d have to leave now. Hopefully, no one would be awake to see her return to camp.
They would all rip her a new one for sleeping with a native on the planet or ask for every sensual detail. She still couldn’t believe she’d done it. She was so stupid!
She darted over to her clothing, threw it all back on except her now ruined underwear and was about to dash past him when his hand whipped out and gripped her arm.
Olivia turned to face him, and Vlek leaned down to place a kiss on her lips. It was a quick kiss, but she still felt a blush creep up her cheeks. She barely knew the guy.
“Thank you.” Then she dashed away.
She wasn’t embarrassed by what she did, but she had surprised herself with her actions. She couldn’t take back what she’d done, but she still wasn’t sure how she felt about it. It wasn’t every day that she slept with an alien who had no idea that space travel existed.
Her hand rose to her neck where he’d bitten her. More shocking, she’d liked it, a lot. She’d never thought a bite that broke the skin would be so appealing or delightful, but it had been during the throws of sex. There’d been something primal like he was marking her, which also scared her.
