Trouble at Brayshaw High Page 17

by Meagan Brandy

He pulls back, his eyes as black as ever, begging for the first time, as if I could deny him when he looks at me like that.

“Take what you need, Big Man.”

He lifts his finger to his lips, telling me to keep quiet, then his hips move off the seat so he can free himself from his joggers.

His dick sticks up straight and he shifts me, lining perfectly with the tear in my pants and my pussy. He pulls me down on him, pushing on my shoulders to make sure he’s as far in as he can be.

He growls into my chest, flexing inside me, and my breath hitches.

My head goes to fall back but his hand moves, cupping the back of my neck to hold it up.

“Eyes. On... me,” he growls in my ear, a deep guttural moan following and my body quivers against him.

He kisses the hollow of my throat as his free hand grips my hip, showing me how he wants it. I grind into him, my ass playing like a swing, back and forth, back and forth and my legs start to shake.

He tears open my sweater and bites at the flesh of my breasts and I cry against him. His hand flies up to cover my mouth as his teeth clamp over me, tugging until I fall from my bra and he pulls my nipple into his mouth. Scraping his teeth back and forth in opposite directions and I start coming, forcing him still but he growls and knocks my hands away.

Both his hands find my hips now and I drop my face into his chest, squeezing my eyes shut as it becomes too much. I cover my own mouth to keep in my moans as he forces my orgasm longer while fighting for his own.

It only takes a few more seconds before his muscles grow rigid, and his hot cum fills me.

He reaches into my pants and pinches my clit, flexing inside me and I whimper, moving my mouth to his.

“Again,” he breathes against me and I meet his eyes. “Squeeze my dick, baby. Drive me crazy the way only you can.”

I barely register the sound of the vehicle doors opening and closing, but the second they do, Maddoc is no longer fighting for quiet.

He groans loudly, rips my shirt off the rest of the way and lays himself flat across the seat, his knees coming up to rest against my back as I still straddle him.

I drop against them and roll my hips, pushing my ass into him, forcing his dick to angle inside me.

My head falls back onto his knees and he lets me this time.

My moans blend with the music and he’s right there with me.

When I peek at him, I find his eyes closed just the same, so I close mine again.

We fuck each other with no touches and no words, both completely lost in the fucking feeling of him inside me, stretching me. Filling me.

We come for the second time, and I collapse forward against his chest. He pushes my hair from my face and turns my head so he can run his lips over mine.

“I wanna give you what you need,” he whispers. “I’m keeping you.”

That’s the last thing I hear before my eyes close and sleep takes over.

When me and Maddoc woke in the middle of the night, we found we were parked outside the party pad, so we snuck in, me with his sweater pulled over my head since he shredded the shit out of my clothes. We quickly passed out in his designated room upstairs.

Thankfully, he was able to grab me some of Royce’s old sweats that had a tie string and a random T-shirt of his to throw on before we went downstairs to eat with everyone that was allowed to stay over after their little kick back they apparently had last night.

In the kitchen, Cap has some girl on his jock, who insisted on helping him cook and Royce has a straggler in his lap. I know she wasn’t here for him last night, because Maddoc said he was in bed alone when he slipped in there to get me clothes.

I can’t help but smile at the ridiculousness of all this.

All this time I’ve been with them, they’ve been extra on edge or something, always trippin’ on where I was and what I was doing. Things have been tense for them lately.

This scene though, it’s like they’ve jumped back into the roles they filled before me, their minds at total ease while they just let loose and flip off the world in typical Brayshaw fashion – free, horny ass boys.

Well, at least Royce, whose hand keeps mysteriously disappearing under the table.

The girl is feeding him, but every few bites she pauses and starts shaking, her lips clamped shut. After the fourth or fifth time, I laugh, and his eyes bounce to mine.

  “Really?” I raise a brow.

He frowns but then winks and moves to whisper in her ear.

Maddoc glares at me, but I laugh and pop a shoulder, right as she fights to hold in her moaning.

I lean closer to Maddoc, speaking for only him to hear. “We could make this a competition, Big Man? Go right here on the table where they can watch this time?”

He glares harder and I laugh loudly.

Obviously, I was joking, and he knows it.

After an hour or so, everyone is kicked out and the cleaning crew arrives.

We move to the porch to wait for them to finish up.

“Hey, what ever happened to those guards from the warehouses? The ones from the night you guys first followed me?” I ask.

“The ones who tried to take advantage of you?” Cap lifts a brow.

  “Yeah, those ones.”

“Put ‘em on a bus to nowhere the next day.” He eyes me.

“As in...” I slide my finger across my throat, and he tips his head.

“No. As in, never again allowed here or in any of the other towns our people run. Forced to go with nothing but the clothes on their backs. We always try the easy way first.”

I look to the other two who nod, agreeing.

“And if they fight you on your choice?”

Royce mimics my move, running his finger across his neck and I laugh.

  Right.

“Come on you guys, let’s go home, they can lock up when they’re done,” Cap stands and we all follow, climbing into the vehicle.

Royce tosses me my shredded hoodie and I open my mouth to speak, only nothing comes out, so I shrug.

All three laugh, Maddoc pulls me close to him, and then we’re moving.

His lips find my neck and slide across before he tilts back and closes his eyes. We didn’t sleep that much last night.

I glance from his swollen lips to his long, dark lashes, and then shift to look at the other two. Cap meets my eyes in the mirror and gives a soft wink and Royce bops around in his seat.

A deep sigh leaves me, and I look away.

My mother was right, I do wanna stay.

  Maybe even permanently.

The realization isn’t as scary as I thought it would be.

  “Fuck no.” Maddoc glares.

“Hell to the no,” Royce laughs.

  Cap frowns.

“Uh...” My head pulls back slightly. “I’m sorry, did you miss the part where I said, ‘I’m going’? Pretty sure there was no question in my sentence.”

Maddoc crowds my space. “Heard it just fucking fine. Fuck no, is my response.”

I roll my eyes but don’t step back. “I owe her one, we haven’t talked since she helped me out that night. I only need an hour.”

  “No.”

I look to Captain, the freaking logical one for help, but he lifts his hands and steps back.

“Traitor,” I spit, and he cracks a grin, so I flip him off and turn back to Maddoc. “I’ll be back before you have to leave for practice.”

His jaw clenches and his eyes snap to Royce who shakes his head no, then Captain who gives nothing but a shrug. He groans, then levels me with a glare. “One fucking hour.”

“Dude!” Royce shouts through an adorable pout. “Are you getting pussy whipped or what? Tell her no!”

I grin and head out front, but when I step out and reach behind me for the handle, I’m shoved out of the way and Maddoc joins me on the porch, closing the door before the others step through.

I look from it to him with a frown.

  He moves toward the rai
ling and pulls me to him, so I’m standing between his legs. His frown morphs into something different, and he drops his forehead to mine, closing his eyes before he speaks.

“Do you understand me like I think you do?” he whispers and the pit of my stomach heats.

“I like to think so, yeah.”

“Why do I demand things from you?” His eyes pop open. “Why do I make decisions for you?”

“You mean why do you try to make decisions for me?” I whisper.

He chuckles against me, his hands moving to my belt loops. “Do you?”

I nod and his eyes heat.

  “Say it.”

I take a deep breath. “Because you can’t handle not knowing where I am, but it’s not in an aggressive way. It’s possessive and carnal and all a part of your need to protect me – even if I don’t think it’s necessary.”

His grip finds my hips and squeezes. “Keep going.”

“You want me safe, and you can’t think straight if you don’t know for sure that I am. It fucks with your head, which fucks with your concentration and throws off everything you’ve taught yourself to control...” I trail off.

He buries his face in my neck, rumbling, “It’s the most frustrating fucking thing I have ever felt.”

“I bet you hate I have that power over you, just as much as you don’t.”

  “You bet right.”

  I laugh lightly.

  “Do you hate it?”

“I love it.” My grin is slow.

He nods, running his fingers through my hair. “Well, I’m pretty fuckin’ sure I love you, so I’m glad you’re on board.”

I freeze in his arms and his other hand slides up my side. He kisses my cheek then steps around me. Without another word or looking me in the eyes again, he disappears inside.

And I stand on the porch still frozen with my hands in the air for several minutes until the front door closing snaps me out of it.

I glance back to find Captain looking all fresh with his keys in his hands.

“You good?” he asks me, and I shake my head.

“Yeah, fine.” I swallow, running my tongue over my teeth. “Can you drop me at the house on your way out?”

He raises a brow. “Promise to get out?” he teases, and I laugh, shoving him and get in the passenger seat.

“Do you meet her at the same park every visit?” I ask him, and his features tighten.

  “Yeah.”

One word is all I get until I’m climbing out.

“Raven,” he calls. “You could come, if you want...” He trails off, not meeting my eyes.

I walk around to the driver side, forcing him to look at me. “I will go with you each and every single time you go. Always. But only if you ask me.”

His eyes tighten around the edges and he reaches out. Gripping my neck in his hand, he gives a curt nod and slowly releases me.

Captain’s phone dings right then and he laughs quietly, lifting the screen for me to see.

  Maddoc: 47 minutes, Raven...

With a playful groan, I walk backward and Cap winks, but then his eyes lift over my shoulder and his face is wiped of all emotion.

The blank look of a Brayshaw takes over and he rolls forward.

I turn to find Victoria leaning against the porch.

Her eyes follow the black SUV until it pulls away, then slowly slide back to mine. “You’re a few solid weeks past ‘tomorrow,’ Rae.”

The night I was jumped, she and her friend scared them away and she brought me back here. I promised her the money I won in betting that night, but I took off the next day before I could make it right with her.

I hold out the cash and she frowns. “A deal is a deal.”

Her features tighten. I know she wants to turn it down, but she’s a poor girl living in a group home.

Free money isn’t something she’d be smart to walk away from and she knows it.

Seeming a little embarrassed, she takes it, her eyes thanking me when her pride won’t allow her words to.

“Now, let’s go for a walk. I could use some air and you can buy me a snack or something,” I ease her.

She scoffs, disappears inside and comes out wearing her blue leather coat, and we start walking.

Victoria has that typical beach girl thing going on.

She’s tan even though it’s winter, and has long blonde hair with a little darker roots, but it’s natural, like the sun bleached it, and deep brown eyes. She’s short compared to me, but she’s fierce.

And when she sparks a joint and cuts her eyes to mine, she’s my new best friend.

Not really, but I’m with it.

She passes it my way, laughing when I sigh.

  “You out?”

“Yeah, but I’m working on it,” I tell her, and she grins. “Sorry it took me a minute to get over here. Shit didn’t ...” I grimace. “Go as planned.”

She scoffs. “Yeah, no shit. Just because I’m not seen, don’t forget I go to the same school.” She cuts her eyes my way. “That was ballsy of you.”

I look away, shaking my head. “Trust me. Balls had nothing to do with it.”

  “So, what was it, then?”

It’s sort of like what Bass had said to me the other night, so I try to explain it to her.

“Because they deserved me to. There’s not a whole lot people like us can do to handle a situation, not with where we’re at in our lives right now.” I take the joint when she passes it back. “So...”

“So, when you have the ability to do something, you do it, fuck the consequences?”

I nod, sliding my eyes her way.

She’s not judging. Something tells me she understands what I’m saying.

“What about after you did it?” she wonders. “Once you saw how it affected them, did you regret it?”

I lick my lips and look forward. “I wanted to.”

  But I didn’t.

“That’s big of you, Rae.” She gives a tight grin and looks away. “Born in hell, yet your conscience didn’t burn.”

“When I first got here, all the shit you heard floating through the house and at school, that was all because I could. But this last time, maybe even a move or two before if I’m real, was different.”

  “Because you care about them.”

I look her way. “I didn’t need a minute to think. The decision was made the second I understood what had happened.”

“Guessing you’re not about to tell me what did happen?” She lifts a blonde brow.

I laugh, shaking my head. “Hell no. I’m only talking to you now because it seems you took the stick out of your ass.”

She rolls her eyes and looks away. “I’ve got issues. When they nag at me, I take it out on everyone else.”

  Unapologetic.

  I appreciate it.

“How’s the house, by the way?”

“Same shit, different day. Maybell’s a little more on edge lately, so we haven’t been able to sneak off as much. Vienna hasn’t been there much this week, not sure what’s up with that since her shit’s still there. All in all, I could use a drunken night.”

  “And your man?”

She shrugs. “Gone. He was a drifter and I helped pass the time.”

“You sound so broken up about it,” I joke.

She laughs, looking at me. “He was good for passing my time too.”

I chuckle, glancing her way, seeing something in the shop window and focus straight again.

“Don’t look, but that car has been following us for the last three blocks.”

She scoffs. “Do you really think you’re the only one who watches their back?”

  My eyes cut to hers.

“If it wasn’t tailing us, it would have passed a long time ago.” She smirks.

“You spotted him in the window at the stop light back there?”

“Duh.” She grins. “What do we do?”

I shrug, a zing of excitement hitting me. “Ask him what the fuck his problem is?”

Victoria’s mouth opens but then closes and then opens again. “He has a car and could have a gun on his seat just waiting or something.”

“Okay, Boyz in the Hood, we’ll play naïve little dolls for a minute. The ice cream shop is a few stores up, we go inside.”

Nothing else is spoken until we step in.

Victoria spins in front of me so she can discreetly look into the street.

“They parked across the street. What do we do?”

“You buy me ice cream and we take our time.”

“Because that makes creepy cars leave,” she deadpans.

“No ... but it does make pissed-off Maddoc appear.”

Her frown is instant and then a laugh bubbles out of her.

We order something small, and like clockwork, not ten minutes after my ‘allotted time,’ a familiar SUV is rolling slowly down the street.

“There they are.” I burst from the booth and building, not waiting for Victoria to catch up, and dash into the middle of the road.

A car going the opposite way, swerves around me, honking its horn while Maddoc slams on his brakes and the doors fly open. Both him and Royce practically jump out, glares in place.

“Get his keys!” I shout, nodding my chin at the car quickly trying to pull from the curb at the side of them – they’ve unknowingly blocked him in.

Royce spins, and darts forward, attempting to knock the guy across the jaw, but the seat drops back, and he misses.

He goes for the keys and the guy grips his arm, but he’s able to elbow him from that position and his head snaps back slightly. Royce yanks the keys from the ignition.

He steps back and Maddoc wrenches the door open, pulling the guy out and throwing him against the side.

He shifts and dips away, ready to charge in again but Maddoc and Royce come at him from both sides, and he’s fucked.

He tries to swing at one then the other, but the move leaves him open to be gripped by both.

“Get your fucking—” the guy shouts, but they cut him off with a grip to the throat and a knee to the ribs.

Both pair of eyes hit mine.

  “He was following us.”

Maddoc’s eyes tighten and travel over me.

“I’m fine.” I can’t help but grin. “We went into the ice cream shop and waited.”

“Wait.” Victoria steps beside me, gaping at them. “They just went caveman and they had no idea why they were doing it?”
