What the Heart Desires Page 30

by Jaime Derelle

“Oh, you know how it is, with practice and recording sessions. Listen, I’m having a party at my place. Saturday. I’ll see you there.”

“Um. OK. But I don’t know where you live.”

“I’ll send someone to pick you up.”

That Saturday, Jill stepped out of her apartment to find a limousine waiting for her. Whatever doubts Jill had about Richie, there was no question he knew how to do it in style. When she arrived, the party was in full swing. Richie’s penthouse was predictably capacious and luxurious, with commanding views of Central Park. Rockers and industry execs mixed with models and socialites as the music pounded through the living room which had been converted into a discotheque. Richie stood to the side near the bar, dressed in slacks and a silk shirt, looking devilishly handsome even though he seemed to have spent no more than fifteen minutes getting ready. Jill, who had spent the better part of the day preparing, was more than a little envious.

“What would you like to drink?” asked Richie, giving her a kiss. “Champagne?” he added as she looked unsure.

“OK, thanks.” Jill took a sip from the champagne he offered and realized that it had to be an extremely expensive one. Indeed, it looked as if the jet set had gathered here as women with exclusive jewelry and absurdly expensive handbags chatted to men puffing Cuban cigars. Even the scruffily dressed pop stars wore Rolex watches. Jill felt more than a little insecure in this group. As she surveyed the party, Richie came up to her and squeezed her hand. “What a bunch of assholes, huh?”

Jill was shocked. “Richie, these are some of the most famous people in the city! Not to mention, your guests!”

“Well, you know, when you’re an asshole yourself, you tend to attract the same.” Richie looked at Jill and smiled.

Jill laughed. “You’re incredible,” she said.

“Come upstairs for a moment,” said Richie.

  She was surprised. “What? Why?”

“Come on, I’ll show you.” He took her by the hand and led her upstairs. She entered a large room, which she took to be Richie’s bedroom. It was predictably luxurious, but also tasteful, which Jill found odd given Richie’s extrovert sense of style.

“Wait here,” he said and went into his walk-in closet, appearing momentarily with a small box. “For you,” he said, handing it to her with a smile. Wondering what on earth was going on, Jill took the box and opened it. Inside was the most gorgeous diamond ring that Jill had ever seen. She almost dropped the box in surprise.

“Oh my God!” she gasped. “What is this?”

“I told you I love you, Jill,” said Richie taking the ring out of the box and putting it on her finger. “I want you to know that you’re very special to me.”

“Oh, Richie,” cried Jill, genuinely touched. “I love you too.”

They kissed passionately, holding each other close. Then Richie started to unbutton her dress. “Now?” objected Jill.

  Richie smiled mischievously. “Why not?”

  “What about your guests?”

  He shrugged. “They can wait.”

As he went on kissing her, slipping his tongue into her mouth, Jill suddenly felt that right now wouldn’t be a bad time after all. She moaned softly as Richie kissed her neck and grabbed her ass, pressing her against him. She could feel his semi-rigid penis through his trousers and experienced a familiar thrill. She felt an all-consuming passion for him and her body ached for his touch and his cock.

Jill had no interest in playing coy this time. She would show just how sexually adventurous she could be. Time to let the wild side come out, she decided. She pushed him onto the bed and unzipped her dress, letting it fall at her feet. She could see him gazing intently at her naked body, devouring her with his eyes. She knelt down, unzipped his pants and took his manhood out. The massive organ lay semi-rigid, so thick that her fingers barely fit around it. She began to stroke it, watching as the organ become fully aroused. She ran her tongue over the head before sucking it vigorously, taking it deep into her mouth and throat before letting it come out. All the while, she used her hands to masturbate him and fondle his balls.

“Jesus, Jill, you really know how to do this,” gasped Richie as she rhythmically sucked him off. She smiled, pleased that he liked her efforts so much. Jill loved giving oral sex and used all her skills to give Richie the blowjob of his life. Playing with his cock had made Jill nice and wet, and now her body ached for the feel of that monster shaft.

She straddled Richie, letting his penis rest on her slit. Slowly, she lowered herself onto it, savoring the thrilling sensation of his manhood filling her cunt and expanding the walls of her vagina. Still, she couldn’t take it all in, at least not at first. She moved up and down, taking it deeper with each stroke until she was enthusiastically bouncing on him, each stroke greeted with the distinctive sound of his hard cock meeting the wet walls of her pussy.

The pleasure Jill felt was indescribable. “You’re the best fuck I ever had, Richie,” she cried as she ground her cunt on his turgid organ, thrilling to the sensation of cock rubbing against her G-spot.

Richie was overwhelmed by the feeling of wet pussy contracting against his dick and was barely able to keep from coming. Finally, unable to control himself he climaxed in intense spasms. Jill could feel his hot sperm shooting into her and his cock throbbing in the midst of his passion. She grabbed his hard buttocks, pulling him into her, as deep into her as she could, as he came.

As they lay together, breathless, Jill finally spoke. “You really should get back to your guests.”

They looked at each other and laughed. It was the beginning of a passionate and beautiful relationship. Jill had never experienced such mind-blowing sex before or such intimacy and passion. Never before had a man consumed her mind and body so completely. She could never imagine their love ending.

Until one day, she decided to surprise Richie and visited him on his yacht. It was only when she was at the door of his cabin and heard the voices that she realized what was going on.

“Fuck me with your big cock, Richie!” a woman said.

“Give it to her, big boy, and after that, you can bang me, too,”” another voice piped up. Dear God, there were two of them! The door was ajar, and as Jill peeped in, she saw Richie fucking a blonde girl while another girl fondled his balls and buttocks. In her shock, she dropped the bottle of wine she was carrying. Richie whirled around and looked genuinely shocked as he stared at her. Jill stared at him in horror, then ran crying from the yacht.

Jill had never felt so depressed before. All the passion and love she had felt for Richie transformed into a searing grief and pain. How could she be so foolish, she thought as she wept in her room. All those stories of the many women he had fucked. But she had been inexcusably gullible, believing his fairy-tales that he loved her, wanted her. That is why she had given him far more than her body. She had given him her heart. She had never loved anyone as much as she loved him. And deep down she knew that she never would.

But it was over now, over for good. She had believed she could tame this bad boy, get him to put his old ways behind him and settle down with her. But no monogamous relationship could satisfy him. She could see that now. All the talk about planning to settle down was just bullshit, designed to convince her to sleep with him. But why had he made her love him? Couldn’t he have just fucked her and gone on his way?

Consumed by bitterness, she forced herself to maintain an outward appearance of cheerfulness although she was dying inside. Only her closest friends noticed it. “What the hell is wrong with you?” demanded April one day as they were drinking in a pub.

“What do you mean?” Jill asked though she knew what April meant.

“I warned you about Richie. These guys, they are just one night flings. They are not marriage material.”

Jill felt tears welling up. “But I loved him!”

April gave her hug. “I know, honey, I know. But you need to move on. There’s nothing there. I know you want to settle down
, start a family. Richie is not the person to do that with. OK?” She gave her a tissue to wipe her tears. “Look, we’re not going to mope like this. We’ll find you a guy – a nice, handsome, rich guy – and you’re going to forget all about Richie.”

Jill knew that was never going to happen, but was comforted by April’s words. Yes, she thought, whatever her feelings she was going to move on. But the guys that April introduced her to left her cold. There was nothing wrong with them, as they were all reasonably good-looking, charming and seemed to have good jobs but none of them was capable of making her feel the way Richie did. They just left her cold.

And then, unexpectedly, she got a call out of the blues. “Hello, Jill,” said a familiar voice. Jill froze. It was Calvin.

“Why – why are you calling me?” Jill stuttered, taken aback by the call.

“I just wanted to see how you were.”

  She was silent.

“I know things ended badly with us, Jill.” The voice was apologetic. “But the truth is … I miss you.”

“Miss me?” Jill was sarcastic. “I’m surprised you found the time while screwing Miss England.”

“She left me. She was cheating on me with some other guy, and she dumped me. I guess I deserve it, huh?”

Jill’s heart leaped for joy. Yes, you bastard, she thought, you do deserve it. But it would have been too harsh to say so. “Really?” she said, instead. “Is that why you’ve come running back to me?”

“I was a fool. It was only after you left that I realized what I had lost.”

“Well, I’m afraid it is a little too late for that,” snapped Jill, her feelings of resentment bubbling to the surface.

“I understand that,” said Calvin. “But I want closure. Please, can we meet for dinner – just once?”

Jill reflected. She still hated his guts but maybe dinner wasn’t such a bad idea. He had been such an important part of her life for so long. It wouldn’t hurt to remain on cordial terms with him.

“Well, I guess I could do dinner.”

“Great!” Calvin sounded delighted. “I’ll pick you up.”

“OK,” sighed Jill. She gave him her address and hung up. With all the emotional turmoil she was feeling, the last thing she needed was another ex who had cheated on her. But it would be good to see Calvin and maybe remain friends.

Calvin looked as handsome as ever when he came to pick her up and took her to an exclusive Asian restaurant. “You look as beautiful as ever,” he said, once they had placed their order.

Jill was pleased with the compliment. “Thank you. You look pretty spiffy yourself.” Calvin laughed, and as his face crinkled with amusement, she remembered why she had fallen in love with him – the boyish good looks, the good-humored charm. It didn’t hurt that he was mega-rich and made her the envy of all her friends when they started going out together. Jill had a bizarre thought. Maybe settling down with Calvin wasn’t the worst idea after all. The way he was flirting with her, he was definitely trying to rekindle their relationship. All these successful guys had affairs. Perhaps she needed to look the other way once in a while and enjoy the married life that being with someone like Calvin would give her.

They went for more dates and slowly their closeness grew. So, Jill wasn’t completely surprised when Calvin went down on one knee one day and proposed to her. “Jill, I know things haven’t always been perfect between us. But I promise to be a good husband to you from now on. Will you do me the honor of marrying me?”

There was no point searching for some perfect love, love that she would never find. Jill decided that it would be better to settle for what was right before her than run in vain pursuit of her dreams.

“Yes,” she said, accepting the magnificent ring that Calvin gave her. “I will marry you.”

Her family was ecstatic, particularly her mother who was heart-broken about her losing such a ”catch”. April confirmed what she had been thinking all along. “Rich guys like Calvin don’t come along all the time. And he’s so dreamy. So, what if he cheated on you? You can just have some fun of your own.”

Soon the wedding day approached. Amid the helter-skelter preparations, Jill had misgivings but suppressed them as the fateful day drew nearer. Finally, it was the day before the wedding. Jill was dashing madly from place to place and was coming home when she got the shock of her life. Standing by her door was Richie.

  Chapter 6

Jill couldn’t believe it. “What the fuck are you doing here?” she cried.

Richie touched her on the shoulder. He had lost his earlier cockiness. Instead, he seemed serious and thoughtful. “I’m sorry to come and meet you like this, but I heard you’re getting married.”

  “Damn right!” snapped Jill.

“I would congratulate you, but we both know it’s not what you want.”

Jill was furious. “Is that right? And how the hell would you know what I want?”

Richie sighed. “Look, I have no business coming here like this, not after things ended between us. But what we had been special. Don’t shake your head. I know you feel the same way. Don’t give your life away, Jill. Not on some guy you don’t love.”

Jill glared at him. “Screw you, Richie. You took my heart, and you just threw it away. I’ll never forgive you.”

“I’m sorry,” said Richie. And looking into his eyes, Jill knew it was true. “I love you. I always have.” And then, he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her on the mouth. Hard, intensely. Jill was shocked that he was doing this and, even more, shocked that she was not resisting him,

He stopped kissing her and looked at her. Jill slapped him hard. He didn’t seem fazed by it but looked at her gently. “You know I’m right, Jill. Think about it.”

After he had left, Jill sank into the sofa. Amidst the turmoil she was feeling, she realized one thing. She still loved Richie. And she no longer had any feelings for Calvin. The wedding was going to be a big mistake. She decided then and there to call Calvin and end the wedding. He would be upset, but it would be wrong for both of them to go ahead with it. And as for Richie – well, that was one bad boy who had finally met his match.

  Nothing but Trouble

  Chapter 1

Kevin stood at the edge of the park and casually took out a cigarette. He put it up to his mouth and proceeded to light it as he stared out across the park. His eyes searched along the park benches until they found her.

She was sitting on one the dark green park benches on the eastern end of the park, as usual. Her thick, red, wavy hair was pulled up into a neat bun while loose locks hung on each side of her face. She had her head in a book, also, as usual, and seemed to be completely unaware that he was staring at her.

This wasn’t the first time that Kevin had seen her sitting on that park bench. In fact, he had noticed her sitting there each time he had come to the park this week. The weather was getting warmer, and he and has motorcycle buddies had been hanging out at the park pretty often over the past week.

Kevin noticed that this mysterious, book-loving redhead didn’t seem to have a whole lot of friends. Every time he saw her, she was alone and she seemed to love reading. He never saw her hanging out with any of the other college co-eds on or off campus. He never saw her at any of the bars, clubs or frat parties either. In fact, the only place he ever saw her was either sitting in the park with her face in a book or sitting in the college café with her face in a book.

Kevin took a long, deep drag from his cigarette and exhaled as he watched the quiet, oblivious redhead turn the page of the book she was reading. He looked over towards the basketball court and saw his friends engaged in a game. He had intended to go and join them, but something about the book-loving redhead intrigued him. As he stood there leaning on his motorcycle and smoking his cigarette, he watched her in silence, wondering how he should approach her.

  She was pretty in he
r own subtle way. She wasn’t quite like the long-legged, big-boobed, bleach blonde party girls he usually chased after. She seemed different, unique rather, and he felt a strong urge to approach her. He finished his cigarette and threw it down near his motorcycle. He popped a stick of gum in his mouth and began to walk over towards the redheaded girl sitting on the bench.

Elise briefly looked up from the book she was reading and casually glanced around the park. As she looked around, she thought she saw that cute guy on the motorcycle looking over at her. She quickly put her book back up to her face nervously, and shook her head, thinking there was no way a guy like that could possibly be interested in a girl like herself.

She had seen him a few times before, always with a group of guys, and they all wore leather jackets and rode big, loud motorcycles. She’d see them at the edge of the basketball court smoking their cigarettes, drinking their beers and whistling at the college girls walking through the park.

It was her first year at Covington State College and her first time away from home. She had grown up in a small town, and her parents had raised her very religious. They were devout Catholics and had warned her numerous times about the dangers and temptations associated with attending school out in the big city. Her mother still called her every night to make sure she was in her dorm by curfew and to remind her to stay focused and keep out of “trouble.” And now, here she was sitting in the park, checking out a guy who looked like the type her parents would disown her for even talking to. She sighed to herself as she turned the page of the book she was reading.

Kevin stared intently at the cute, quiet redhead as he walked across the park toward the bench she was seated on. He ran his fingers through his thick, dark hair as he thought about how to strike up a conversation with her. He was used to hitting on the wild, party girls, but with a girl like this, he felt like he’d have to change his approach if he wanted to be able to get anywhere with her.

“Hey, whatcha reading there?” a deep, sexy voice said from just behind the bench where Elsie was sitting.
