Craving More Page 5

by Scarlett Avery

“Yeah, but you’re most likely alone. How do you expect me to focus on preparing breakfast when you have a semi-hard cock dangling in front of me?”

“Oh, sweetness, is that the only thing bothering you? I have an idea about how we can take care of my semi-hard cock real quick.” He reaches out for the t-shirt I’m wearing and pulls me towards him before crushing my lips.

“Jake is still sleeping upstairs,” I breathe into his mouth.

“Who said anything about going upstairs? And who said anything about waiting for Jake? This granite counter will do the trick very nicely. I just have to fling your body on top of it and I can have my morning fuck before coffee.” Without any warning, he slides a finger between my legs and I close my eyes when he glides it over my clit. “My best friend is right, you’re a dirty little one. We might have worked you hard last night, but it’s obvious you wouldn’t mind going for another round or two.” His dark and intense stare nearly sears me. When I lower my eyes, his semi-erect cock is now fully ready to fuck me again. Damn.

“Oh, Hunter,” I gasp, surprised how my body responds to him despite the fact I’m still aching from the overdose of carnal gluttony. “We should wait.”

“You’re right. We should replenish first. If I have more energy, it’ll be a lot easier to make you come screaming out my name.” My jaw drops when Hunter removes the finger he had inserted in my pussy and brings it to his mouth with the most oh-my-God-fuck-me-now-before-I-die stare I’ve ever seen. He licks my juices in such a suggestive way I find myself salivating. Holy hell. He takes a step away from me with a finger still in his mouth. “Why don’t I run upstairs and cover up and I’ll come back down to help with breakfast?”

“I wanted it to be something I prepared for the two of you. It was supposed to be my little surprise and now you’ve ruined my plans.”

He walks backwards towards the stairs with his eyes still on me and his wide grin still on his face. “Well, maybe if you hadn’t made so much noise in the bathroom while you were taking a shower this morning, I’d still be sleeping. Jake can sleep through an earthquake so it’s no wonder he’s still snoring.”

“So it’s my fault I’ve ruined your surprise?”

He crinkles his nose. “I have a feeling I’m going to get in trouble if I say anything more.”

“I definitely would tread carefully if I were you.” I smile.

“I will. On a different note, I’m glad to see we didn’t work you too hard last night, since you’re still able to walk.”

  “Barely.”

“Honey, if you could bend over the way you did when I first walked in the room and caught you flashing your ass at me, you’re doing just fine.”

“Careful.” I wave a finger at him.

“All right, I know I’m pushing it.” He smiles. “Give me a second and I’ll be right back.” With that boyish grin still plastered across his face, he turns around and disappears as quickly as he made his entrance.

I can’t help but laugh watching his naked ass wiggle its way up the stairs. After shaking my head, I get back to work. I open the fridge again and pull out the items I didn’t have time to grab before Hunter ambushed me.

I’m busying myself in front of the kitchen sink washing the vegetables I’ll use for the omelet when Hunter returns. He circles my waist with his strong arm and leans down and drops a quick kiss on my cheek before stepping out of the embrace and surveying the ingredients I laid out on the counter. “Wow. Someone is getting ready to cook up a storm.”

“After last night, we’re all starving.”

“You’re right there. So what’s on the menu?”

  “Nothing too complicated.”

“Usually when Riley or Isadora say that, they cook enough food to feed a small army.”

“Trust me, my legs can barely withstand my weight given how exhausted I still am from last night. I have no intention of cooking a meal fit for a king. I was going to whip up a Spanish omelet. I was also thinking of slicing some of that raisin bread I noticed at the bottom of your fridge and I was going to make a huge pot of coffee to wake us all up. See, simple and easy.”

“In that case, why don’t I help you?”

“You’re on. You can start by chopping those onions over there, followed by those potatoes, and I’ll hand you the green and red peppers once I’ve washed them.”

Hunter and I work in silence. Although I’m focused on the task at hand, I find my mind drifting to the blue-eyed lover who’s still sleeping upstairs and I can’t help but wonder when he’ll be up.

The minutes always fly when I’m doing photography work or in the kitchen. Once the breakfast is nearly done, I turn around and I lean against the counter to face Hunter. There’s a question that’s been nagging at me for a few days now and I think this is my opportunity to get clarity. “How is this going to work?”

As much as I’d never change anything if it meant I’d forgo the sheer ecstasy I’ve shared with these two men over the past few days, I can’t help but wonder if Riley will see right through me and I’m also curious to find out if all this will die down once she’s back.

Hunter drops the knife he was holding and grabs the dishcloth on the counter next to him to wipe his hands before turning around to face me. He crosses his arms over his large chest and meets my gaze. “Oh, I think we’re supposed to wait for the food to cook before eating it.”

Grabbing a dishcloth, I swat his arm. “Don’t be a smartass. You know exactly what I mean. I’m talking about us. Me, you and Jake… How can the three of us still be intimate when Riley eventually comes back? Let’s not forget her four rambunctious kids and Isadora, who seems to have eyes everywhere. How do we make it work?”

Hunter clucks his tongue off of the roof of his mouth, exhales a deep breath and shifts his eyes away from mine to focus on a spot above my right shoulder. He ponders on my question for so long I wonder if he’s decided to ignore it altogether or if he’s trying to come up with a plan just like I’ve been attempting to do for the last few days.

“Baby, I’d be lying if I told you I knew. I don’t think either Jake or I have thought that far out. I know I haven’t. I was so elated when Riley mentioned she had been offered an opportunity of a lifetime by being asked to be a judge on the reality TV show and I figured we had ten days of unrestricted fun at our disposal. After that, I haven’t got a clue.”

My brows furrow. “So where does that leave us?”

Hunter takes a few steps towards me and grabs the back of my neck before lowering his gaze to meet mine. “Well, I love sharing you with Jake. I think we’re good together. There’s such an intense energy between us when we both take you. And I know I don’t want this to end when Riley comes back. I’m sure we’ll have to be a little more creative, but I don’t see why this wouldn’t work as long as we’re discreet.”

“I guess we’ll have to wait and play it by ear.”

“But there’s still the matter of deciding who you really want.”

“What do you mean?” I ask nervously.

“We started talking about this yesterday inside the cabin before Jake arrived. I think you like him far more than you’re willing to admit. I’m happy to come along for the ride because I’ll never turn down the opportunity to share a woman with sensual curves like yours with my best friend, but if you’d prefer to only be with Jake… I’ll gracefully bow out. You just have to say the word.”

My mouth drops open. Wow, am I ever transparent to Hunter. His words take me aback and I’m surprised by his admission. I guess for him, this is just fun and maybe he doesn’t see this going further than a few nights of kinky sex. In a way it makes things easier for me since I can’t get my blue-eyed lover out of my head, but I can’t help but wonder if Jake feels the same way as his best friend about what we share.

Hunter is staring at me and it’s as if my tongue is frozen. I want to respond but my brain can’t concoct a decent answer that won’t shatter the perfect relationship I have with thes
e two men. Fuck, say something. Taking a deep breath in, I slowly release it before attempting an answer, but a voice behind Hunter echoes in the room.

“Are you guys going to make out down here? You could have at least woken me up so I could’ve joined you.” Jake chuckles as he enters the kitchen.

My eyes are still locked with Hunter’s and neither of us speaks, but that doesn’t deter Jake one bit.

“I guess we could also take turns with her. I mean, we can’t continue to be as ruthless as we were last night, right? She won’t be able to walk soon.” Jake circles the granite island and stands next to Hunter and I. “What smells so good? I’m starved.”

I close my eyes for a second and shake my head, trying to regain my ability to speak. When I open my eyes again Hunter’s cocky grin reappears. Oh, God, what now?

“I thought of taking her this morning on the counter, but she worked us so hard last night, if I don’t eat something there’s no way I’ll be able to keep it up long enough to make her come. Luckily, our little seductress prepared a hearty breakfast we’ll be able to devour in no time.” Hunter takes a step back and leans against the counter next to me.

“No need to rush it. Don’t forget, there’s plenty of time. We still have eight long days and nights to take her whenever we want, separately or together.”

Both men are laughing, amused at their jokes, talking as if I’m not even in the room. I wish I could be as lighthearted as they are, but the idea that we might only have eight days of this makes my stomach queasy. I don’t want it to end next week when Riley comes back. I don’t want to say goodbye to what we have, even if I’m uncertain of how I feel about Jake. Instead of joining them I simply shrug.

Jake looks my way and raises his eyebrows. “You’re awfully quiet. Are you okay after last night?”

  “Yeah. I am.”

“I’m sure Hunter must have asked, but how are you feeling?”

  “Honestly?”

  “Of course.”

“Well… It’s…” I hesitate, trying to find the right words to describe all the feelings colliding inside me.

“Come on, Ali. Spit it out. What’s going on in your pretty little head?”

“I’m kind of sore all over, but mostly confused.”

  “What’s troubling you, baby?”

“What happens when your sister comes back?” I blurt out before I can stop myself. My question captures their attention and they stare at my worried face. Jake takes a few steps towards me before wrapping me in his arms and he kisses the top of my head.

“Ahhh, I see. You want to have a serious talk before breakfast.”

“Not necessarily. I can wait,” I backtrack, hoping my question didn’t upset him.

“It’s kinda heavy for the day after, isn’t it?” I pick up on the mockery in his voice and I know he’s teasing me. “It’s important for you?”

I nod. “It is.” I know I’m being a girl about this, but the uncertainty is giving me an ulcer.

“I told her we didn’t have the answers and we should just take it one day at a time until your sister gets back. I’m sure we’ll figure something out by then.”

Jake nods at his best friend before turning his attention to me. “He’s right. I’ll be honest, we’ve never been in this situation before. We’ve never lived on the same land as a woman we wanted to share. This is uncharted territory for all of us. It’s going to make things more complicated when my sister comes back with her brood of children and her inquisitive nanny, but maybe we’re getting ahead of ourselves.”

  “What do you mean?”

“Things are changing fast for my sister—in a good way.”

“What do you know that we don’t, buddy?”

Jake turns around and looks at his best friend. “Since my sister became the host of her own cooking show, she’s had to travel to LA a lot more often than she used to and now with this second show, I doubt she’ll be spending a lot of time on the ranch in the coming months. In the past, Isadora was the one taking care of the kids while she was away. But now the ranch is far too busy and there’s way too much going on for us to become surrogate parents to my nephews when Riley is away.”

“Yeah, not to mention all these new clients we keep collecting like trophies mean we need to hire new guys to help out. We’re already maxed. We can’t add the role of daddy to the list.”

  “Riley knows that very well.”

“Jake, I don’t follow. Do you think Riley will have to move to LA with her kids?” A wave of worry washes over me because I have no intention of moving to LA I certainly would hate to lose the job I love so much this quickly.

“We’ve talked about it a lot since she wrapped the first season of her show. It was an exhausting experience for all of us and her kids missed her a lot when she wasn’t around.”

“Would she put the kids in school in Cali?” Hunter’s question is a great one and I listen in to find out more about my fate.

“Who knows, but at the rate her career’s going I have a feeling she won’t have a choice but to spend a lot of time in California. Our parents are out there and they can help, but knowing Riley, she’ll rent her own place to have some sense of privacy.”

“Would Isa move to be with her?”

“Riley said they’ve already talked about it. Since her nanny is a widow and all of her kids have kids of their own, there’s nothing holding her here. We’d have to find someone new to help around the ranch, but Isadora is so good with those kids and she’s the only person alive who can handle the twins.”

“You’re right there. Not to mention, I love your sister like she’s my own, but man, she can turn into a freak when she’s dealing with deadlines. Isa always calms her down.”

“Oh.” I’m disappointed by the news. “Then she won’t need me anymore.”

“What makes you say that?” Jake jerks his head back and frowns.

“If she’s in LA, why would she need me here?”

“Riley is very clear about her future. She knows she wouldn’t be where she is without her popular blog and the way she plays up her serene lifestyle away from the big city. She’s making way too much money with that thing to give it up… even for Food TV. Not to mention, the whole pioneer-woman-living-idyllically-in-the-country-with-her-kids fantasy is her brand, her trademark. Even if she moves back home to La-La Land, she’ll still need a talented graphic artist to hold the fort while she’s away.” Jake takes me around the waist before placing a tender kiss on my lips. “Trust me, she won’t get rid of you that quickly.”

“You see, Allison, you were getting worried for nothing.” Hunter reaches out and strokes my cheek while beaming at me.

  “I guess.”

“Listen, you guys, all this is speculation. I’ve talked to Riley since she’s left and she’s very excited about where things are going, but she hasn’t made firm plans yet. Let’s enjoy the next few days together and we’ll figure things out when she comes back.”

  “I agree with Jake.”

  “Are we good, Ali?”

  “Yeah. I’ll stop worrying, then.”

“Baby, I can think of other things you can put your mind to.” Jake slides his hands under my t-shirt and cups my boobs. I lock eyes with Hunter and I can’t believe how turned on I am from having one man’s hands all over me while another one is watching.

“Shit,” I hiss. Jake squeezes my nipples so hard he sends shivers down my spine all the way to my pussy. I close my eyes, taking in the sweet pain, before tilting my head back. “You’re as bad as Hunter.” I punch his arm and hit a wall of muscle. Damn.

  “I’m way worse.”

It’s too early in the morning for me to come up with something clever, so I let this half smile hang on my lips, in awe of my good fortune.

“I’m starving. Let’s dig in. Allison, everything must be ready by now.” Hunter’s need for food breaks the mood.

“I’m sure you’re right, Hunter. If you guys stopped taking turns groping me for long
er than five minutes, maybe I’d be able to serve breakfast.” I roll my eyes. Both men smile at me angelically as if they haven’t a clue what I’m talking about. “Jake, sit down.” I gesture for my two guys to take a seat at the kitchen island and I walk to the stove to remove the lid off of the omelet. It’s perfect. I grab a few plates to my right and cut a large portion with a spatula for my hungry lovers.

“Allison, the food smells amazing. What did you make?”

“Nothing complicated, but it will fill you up nicely.”

When I drop Hunter’s plate in front of him, I notice the mischievous look they exchange.

“Thanks, baby. You know, it’s still early and I’m pretty sure we’ll have time for coffee and a quickie.”

“Oh, come on, Hunter.” I serve Jake an equally heaping portion.

“Hunter’s right. It’ll keep us going throughout the day since we’ll be heading to Denver.”

  “Denver? On a Saturday?”

“Yeah, I have an early meeting with the client I met yesterday to iron out a few last-minute details before he signs the contract. I’d normally push this to Monday, but this is too lucrative. Not to mention I have a second meeting right after that.”

  “Seriously?”

“When Jake’s done with Filipe Moura, the owner of Churrascaria Steak House & Cellar, he’ll join me for a mid-morning meeting with a few partners who own Casa Del Mar, a chain of very upscale restaurants across California. They’ve heard such glowing reviews about the way we raise our cattle and the quality of our meat and they want to talk business. They’re in town for the day, so we’ll be busy all morning until early afternoon.”

“Oh, I’ll be here alone?” I sit across from the two hungry wolves attacking the omelet I prepared with gusto.

“Only for a few hours, Ali.”

“You don’t have to stay here by yourself. Dirk is coming around with Jenkins to check up on Jezebel and her newborn. Why don’t you come with us?”

“What am I going to do in Denver by myself?”

“It’s a big city and there’s plenty for you to do. You can shop or walk around the mall, but since it’s Saturday and I know you’re as much of a foodie as Riley, why don’t you hit the farmers’ markets? You can take some great photos and you can even buy a few ingredients we might want to use for dinner.”
