Succubus Games Page 4

I ride his shaft, which amazingly has not softened a lick. His cum seeps out and lubricates my path further. I press forward, grasping his shoulders. The tingly friction is unraveling my sanity one thread at a time. I’m frantic and furious in my fucking, and in a distant part of my mind the claps and shouts egg me on, not that I need them. Nearly ready to explode I rise and fall, once, twice, thrice. His fingers dig into the flesh of my thighs as I breach my boundaries and rip a perfect pleasure from him. A piercing cry explodes from my lungs. Everyone quiets until there is only my voice rising into the arena as millions of stars explode in my head and course through my veins. Spent, I collapse onto Helveticus’s chest, snatching ragged breaths of air.

“I declare Helveticus the victor!” Tyche announces.

The spectators, however, are not pleased with her hasty decision, and dissension sweeps like a plague of locusts through their ranks.

“No, the female, Willow wins!” some cry.

“No, he took her! Helveticus wins!” cry others.

Battling voices grow louder and more dissonant.

I climb off Helveticus and extend a hand to help him rise to his feet. With a resigned grin he accepts it. “Congratulations, I think your victory is nigh,” he says.

I shake my head. “No, you will prevail.”

The bolt of lightning and clap of thunder silences the crowd where the admonishments of Tyche failed.

Over Helveticus’s shoulder, near the gods’ spectator boxes, Zeus rises from his seat. I hadn’t even known he’d be here today. He stands between Aphrodite and Tyche who have locked into a fighting stance, their fingers tangled in one another’s hair. He parts them and steps forward as if to address the crowd. Hades is nowhere to be seen, the slacker.

Zeus doesn’t speak but applauds. Soon the rest of the spectators join in with their clapping and stomping.

  “Well done, Helveticus,” he says.

Great. The boys always stick together.

His attention shifts to me, and I prepare to be officially dubbed the loser. “Well done, Willow.” He motions with his hands for quiet. “I, Zeus, declare the match a draw!” Cheers erupt until he motions for quiet again. “Since both are victors, both will be freed from Sisyphus and granted immunity from retaliation by either goddess or her acolytes.” He glances first at Tyche then at Aphrodite. “However, since both Helveticus and Willow are also losers, they will be banished to the remote island of Spanos until they can learn to play nicely together.” Zeus throws a wink and a smile to Helveticus and me.

I glance at Helveticus to gauge his reaction to this rather unorthodox turn of events. The side of his mouth hitches up ever so slightly. His eyes shift into their corners to meet mine. “Your ass is mine now, Willow,” he says under his breath.

“As if, fighter boy,” I mutter back. “Better fortify your energy reserves.” I spin to face him dead on. “Because you’re going to need them.”

“Bring it!” he says, then laughs.

I try to project a stoic demeanor, but I can’t maintain it. I too burst out laughing, and with our arms around each other, we stroll toward the arena’s exit and take our first steps out of Sisyphus.
