Claiming Kara [Fate Harbor 3] (Siren Publishing Ménage Amour) Page 26

by Caitlyn O'Leary

“I’m going to be totally stuck as the disciplinarian. After growing up in a household of boys, this little girl is going to be you and Ben’s little princess.”

“Sweetheart, I’m not going to deny that. Ben and I were sincere that all we wanted was a healthy baby, but when we found out we were getting a little girl, we were over the moon.” Kara looked at this wonderful man she married and felt her heart melt. She couldn’t wait for Ben to get home so she could show both of them how much she loved them. But then she gave herself a mental shake and started considering practical matters.

“Quinn, you have to let me get the room ready.”

“The room is fine, sweetheart. Tim’s going to love it.” Kara saw a look of hesitation flit across Quinn’s face as he knelt beside the couch. He reached out and touched her cheek, his forehead touching hers. “I love your heart. It’s so big and generous.”

“I love that you asked if Timothy could live with us. I think having his brothers with him, and having a fresh start here in Fate Harbor, is exactly what he needs. But more than anything, I love that you asked me for what you needed. I love being part of your life, Quinn Shotbrook.”

“My life doesn’t make any sense without you, Ben and our daughter. I love you, Kara.”

The front door opened. “We’re home!”

Ben came in first and Kara watched as he zeroed in on her and Quinn and smiled. He walked over to them, and rested his hand next to Quinn’s on Kara’s tummy.

  “I’m home.”

  Now the circle was complete.

  ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Caitlyn O’Leary was raised in a small town in the Pacific Northwest. She has been an avid reader. Her earliest creative writing endeavors consisted of “ghost writing” exercises in which she pretended to be her younger brothers and sisters when she did their homework assignments before they turned them in as their own.

Years in corporate America honed her ability to manipulate words by day, and at night she read everything she could get her hands on, including many, many steamy romances!

Now happily married to her long, tall Texan and living in Southern California, Caitlyn has finally found the time to write erotic happily ever afters for Siren. She enjoys swimming, traveling, babysitting her nieces and nephews, spending time with friends and family, and doing lots of “research” for upcoming novels with her husband.
