A Drackon Christmas Page 4

by Maia Starr

After dinner, I went to my living quarters and took a long hot bath. Then I finally went to sleep. I was exhausted from the space travel and the long day of work. I wanted to get rest. I was hopeful that the next day, I would experience my Christmas miracle.

  Chapter 6

  Captain Gavonn Viox

I sat on my bed, reading the letter again. How could it be possible? All this time, she was alive. I read it over and over, savoring each word. I was scheduled to depart on a small ship vessel the next morning. It could not come soon enough. I almost wanted to steal one, but I did not want to call attention to myself.

“What are you doing?” I heard Samara’s voice say. I quickly crumpled the letter into my hand.

“Nothing, just going over some orders. You are back?” I said as I stood up and pushed the letter into my tool belt.

“Yes, I am back. Turns out I did not need to stay too long for that meeting. I have too much to do here anyway,” she said walking to me.

“I understand,” I said looking at my wife and feeling guilty. She was my wife, after all. Yet, I was thinking about a human female.

“Listen, about before. I do not want to argue. That is not what I want for us,” she said as she put her arms around my neck and smiled.

“That is not what I want either,” I said.

I was glad that she was admitting that what she had said was not appropriate. I did not need her bullying me into a higher ranking simply because she was embarrassed to be with a captain and not a higher official or rank.

“I should not have been bugging you about it at all when this entire time, all we had to do was have dinner with my father. He can see to it that you get a promotion. Maybe even leave the battalions altogether. You could work with him. You can be part of the governing structure, an official, or at least on your way to a position like that,” she said.

“What? That is not what I want. I enjoy being in the battalions. I am a warrior. That is what I do. That is who I am. I don't need you trying to change me,” I said, grabbing her arms around my neck and pushing them off of me.

"But I already have a dinner set for us with father tomorrow,” she said.

“No, I do not need his help. Besides, I am going on a short to mission tomorrow. I will be away from Mooreah,” I said heading for the door.

“You are? But where are you going?” she asked.

“That is classified. I am a warrior, remember?” I said before turning and leaving.

“But, Gavonn. Don't walk out on me. Come back here!” she shouted after me.

I just kept walking. Once I was outside our home, I shifted into dragon form. Then I took flight.

“Where is she?” I asked Ritona as I landed on the ledge outside his home and walked into the open door.

“Betty? She is in her own home. She will not be sharing my home until we are officially married in a few days,” he said.

“I need to speak with her,” I said.

“About the human? Her friend?” he asked.

“Yes,” I said walking to his drink area and pouring myself a generous amount of wine.

“Tell me what's going on. Does this have to do with the message she brought? I do not want my new bride getting in trouble, Gavonn,” he said.

“She will not. The three of us are the only ones that know that Noelle sent me a message. I am not going to tell, and I assume that the both of you will not. Even if the message is found, no one will know that Betty was the one that gave it to me,” I said, taking a drink and then another.

"Do you want to tell me what it said?” he asked.

I turned and looked at him. I wanted to tell him. He was my most trusted friend, but this was a lot of information, criminal information.

“I can trust you?” I asked.

“Do you even have to ask? I am offended that you do,” he said.

I poured myself more wine and then sat down.

“My Noelle; she is on Sala right now.”

“What? How? Has she been there this whole time? That can't be,” he said.

“No, she only just arrived. She is there for a business trade. Her work has sent her on a mission to Sala to gather materials.”

"And you want to go see her?” he asked.

“Of course I do. How could I not? After all of this. After I thought that she was dead. I must go see her,” I answered.

“But just see her and speak to her and then leave it at that, right?” he asked.

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“You are married. You are sworn by oath to your wife. Your wife is the daughter of a high official. Being with another, especially a human female, is a criminal act. You will be thrown into prison or banished; they will not go lightly on you,” he said.

“I know the consequences,” I said.

“And you have made your decision? You mean to do it anyway, don't you?” he said, crossing his arms over his chest.

“I have not decided. I only know that I need to see her with my own eyes. I need to hear her voice,” I said.

“Then you are going to Sala?”

  “I am,” I said.

“You're willing to give up everything for this human?” he asked.

“I am; I always have been willing to do anything for her,” I said.

He walked over and poured himself some wine. Then he held his cup up to mine.

“Then to our friendship. I will always remember it fondly. If you return to Mooreah one day, know that you will always have a friend in me, and my trust,” he said.

I held my cup up to his and bumped it against it. He knew me. He knew that if I left, that I would not be able to keep my hands off of Noelle. He knew that I was willing to give up my life as a Drackon warrior, and that it was possible he would never see me again.

  Chapter 7

  Noelle Evergreen

I slept badly. I could not stop thinking about Gavonn. I did not know if he received my letter. I didn't even know if Betty had landed safely on Mooreah. There were too many questions. The fact that I was so close to him, if he was on Mooreah, drove me to toss and turn all night.

I wanted to see him badly. But it would be a miracle if we crossed each other's paths again. So I had to work. I got dressed and made my way to the warehouse. I had put in an order for blue cloth, and it would be brought to me that morning.

I walked into the warehouse and began to work. I consumed myself with it. I made sure that I was getting the precise numbers that I wanted. I didn't care for the female Drackon named Samara. I didn’t want to spend more than what I had to with her.

"Do you have these in a lighter shade of purple, perhaps a soft lavender?” I said to one of the employees as I pointed out a bolt of cloth.

“I will see what we have in the stock rooms and have the lighter shades pulled for you,” she said.

“Great. Thank you. I am going to go to my office for—”

  “Noelle…” a deep voice said.

Chills ran all over my body. I had goosebumps. I had not heard that voice in a long time. I was scared to turn around. Could it be?

I turned. There he was, standing there. His dark hair was longer than I remembered. He had a dark stubble beard across his face. His light brown eyes with the long vertical pupil, like a cat, looked at me with disbelief. He stood tall and proud, his strong, almost nine-foot-tall body, was there in front of me. I didn't think that I would ever see it again. His black deret pants were tight and snug against his firm thighs and tucked into calf-high boots. There was a tool belt around his waist with a blaster gun. His chest was broad and strong, just as I remembered, and covered in the slim scuba-like material. My eyes roamed up and down him.

  “Gavonn…”

“It's me,” he said taking big strides toward me. I walked toward him. As soon as we were a foot apart, he stopped. He looked around at the employees that were looking at us.

He cleared his throat and took on a different tone. “You mentioned that you wanted to have a meeting w
ith me. I am here for that meeting,” he said.

“Yes, of course. Thank you for coming. I have an office down the hallway where we can sit down and talk business,” I said in an official voice. My heart was pounding. It was pounding so loudly that I thought that everyone could hear it. Now that we were talking business terms, the employees did not pay attention to us. They continued working. I looked at Gavonn and gave him a weak smile, trying to maintain professionalism. As he walked beside me, my body was shaking. His masculine scent surrounded me. I breathed in deeply. I yearned to touch him; all I had to do was reach over and put my hands on him. I wanted to kiss him so badly as he walked beside me.

“I can't believe you are here,” he whispered.

“Neither can I. I cannot believe that you are here,” I whispered back, but I still looked in front of me. I did not want to give it away that anything was happening between us to those we passed in the long hallway.

“This is my office,” I said opening the door. We both walked in, and I shut the door behind me.

"Gavonn?” I said looking at him.

"Don't speak,” he said. He pulled me into his arms. His lips pressed against mine. My body went weak as I pressed against his strong chest. I hardly believed that it was happening. But it was. My arms were around his strong body. I could feel his warmth underneath my fingertips. My lips were pressed against his, and his tongue slowly swirled around mine.

He moaned inside my mouth while his hands hungrily moved up and down my body. His hands felt very large against my small back. I was so hungry for him. I wanted him right then and there. I wanted to pick up where we left off two years before. I was so overwhelmed with the feeling that I could not decide on an emotion as he kissed me. I was happy, extremely happy, but I was also a little sad, excited, and confused. It was all hitting me at once. I didn't know how to deal with everything right at that moment. My heart felt like it was about to explode. Was this a dream? It was so fantastic that I didn't believe it could be real.

Finally, after a couple of minutes of deep, intense kissing, we came up for some air.

“Noelle, I can't believe you are here. This is real, this is really real,” he said looking at me. His hands were on my face.

  “This is unbelievable,” I said.

“But how is this possible? Does this mean you got my letter?” I asked.

“Yes, I did. Betty, turns out, is going to wed my best friend,” he smiled.

“What? Seriously? That is unbelievable. I have to say that is incredible luck. I was worried to take the chance. I didn’t want to get her in trouble, but I knew that I had to try. I could not let this chance go by without at least trying. I really can’t believe that the weredragon Drackon she chose is your best friend. How is that possible?” I rambled on and on.

“It’s possible because this was meant to be. We are supposed to find each other again,” he said.

“And Betty? Is she alright?” I asked.

“Yes, she and my friend are getting along great. You have nothing to worry about. He is an honorable Drackon. He will be kind and gentle with her,” he said.

“Good. I am glad that the letter got to you and did not get her into trouble. I was so worried,” I said.

“I have the letter right here,” he opened a small compartment on his tool belt. “Hmm? It was there. I must have put it in another…” he said as he opened another compartment. I grabbed his hands in mine.

“It’s alright. I don’t need to see it. I wrote it. As long as you got the information, that is all that I care about. I don't believe it. This is amazing. I didn't know. I didn't even know if you were still alive,” I said.

“I did not know if you were alive either. We have so much to talk about. I want to know everything. I want to know what happened that day. I came for you, but the battle…” he said.

“I know. There is plenty of time to talk about it later. For now, I just want to touch you,” I said putting my hands against his chest.

“I know the feeling,” he said as he ran his hands down my face and over my shoulders. We just stood there looking at each other.

But just looking at each other wasn't enough. We needed more kissing and more touching. He grabbed my face and kissed me again.

“What, oh yes. Kiss me. I need to taste you. I need to feel you. It has been too long,” I said.

He kissed me harder. He was hungry: just as I was. The dragon was coming out of him. This kissing and touching had waited two years to come out. It was coming out in a messy, hungry fashion. It was too much.

His hands wound down my face and to the sides of my body. His hands grazed the sides of my breasts as he continued down until his hands were on my hips. They went around my ass and then back up to my waist again. Then he picked me up. My hands went up around his neck. I held onto him as he carried me a few steps. Then he sat me on the table. I opened my thighs wide, and he pushed his body between them. I wrapped my legs around him, as much as I could. He was a very large beast of an alien.

“Damn, I want you so bad. I don't think that I can wait. I just can't believe that you were here, I feel like this might be a dream,” he said between kissing me.

“I feel the same way. This is too much. I missed you so badly,” I said.

His hand moved up my thigh and pushed my dress up. I moaned as I felt his hands touch my skin. It's set me on fire. It was just too good to be true.

His hands kept moving higher until they were on my panties. I moaned louder, already feeling the moisture between my thighs. The pulsing had already started. I was feeling like I was on the brink and his fingers were only lightly moving over the material of my panties. I wanted him to tear them off and enter me.

He grabbed my panties and pushed them to the side. Then his long fingers moved up and down my wet slit.

“Oh, that feels so good. Please don't stop. I don't ever want you to stop,” I said.

“You feel so good. You smell so good,” he said as he kissed my mouth.

His fingers moved inside of me. My hands grabbed his dark black hair. My fingers twisted the locks around and around. The pulsing was building up inside of me. I was on the brink.

  “Oh, Gavonn,” I moaned.

“Hearing you say my name, it is music to my ears,” he whispered. His words got me even more excited.

“I am going to cum,” I whispered.

  Chapter 8

  Captain Gavonn Viox

The moment that I walked into the warehouse, I could smell her. Before I even saw her. It was the familiar scent, like jasmine and honey. I had only smelled it once before, when I was with Noelle on Earth. My keen sense of smell picked it up immediately. It made me walk faster down the hallway. This was it. It was really going to happen. I was going to set eyes on Noelle once again. She was the only one that had that smell. I opened the large door to the warehouse and walked in. I scanned the area and saw the petite form of a human female. Long strawberry-blonde hair trailed down her back.

My heart pounded. I took bigger strides toward her. I could hear her delicate voice. Noelle: this was unbelievable. She was standing there.

I finally forced myself to speak.

“Noelle…” It was all that I could say.

She turned around and my eyes and landed on her face. The most beautiful face I had ever seen in my life. Her pale skin was flushed pink. Her brown eyes were framed by long dark lashes. Her pink lips were trembling as she looked at me. I wanted to pull her into my arms and kiss her right then and there. I took more steps to her; I was about to take her into my arms when I realized that we were not alone.

Minutes later, I did have her in my arms, and I was kissing her heavily. I had meant to talk to her first. I had meant to catch up and explain everything to her. I thought there would be time for us to have a conversation, but neither of us could keep our hands off of each other.

My long fingers explored her wet slit. I was hard. I was very hard. I wanted to be inside her right then and there.

  “Oh, Gavonn,” she moaned.

“Hearing you say my name, it is music to my ears,” I whispered between kissing her neck as my hands massaged her.

“I am going to cum,” she whispered.
