ROSS MacDONALD was a comic-book addict as a child. That influence can sometimes be seen in his energetic, over-the-top illustrations. HIs work has appeared in the New Yorker, Vanity Fair, and many other magazines. He has illustrated several picture books and has written as well as illustrated the highly praised Another Perfect Day. He lives with his wife, two children, and four cats in Connecticut.
