She smiled with a blush.
He continued, “I wished for love, but love is looking at me right now, reflected in your eyes.” He reached down and brushed the back of his hand against her face. “No, Kat. I’ve no need for wishes. I received everything my heart desired when I married you. And I intend to spend every night for the rest of my life making your wishes come true.”
She cupped his strong chin in her hand and leaned up until she was just a hair’s breath away from his lips.
“You already do, Dominic,” she murmured as she caught his mouth for a long kiss. “You already do.”
